Well you can't deny the fact that england deserves this victory.
There are still some issues, but their defence was very good once again.
And they scored some good tries as well.

Fantastic game of rugby! One of the more exciting games of the championship so far! Well played England, did enough to hold off France. Hopefully England can kick on from here.

Stuart Lancaster must get the England job full time now, he has done an amazing job. The spirit in that England team looks to be very good.

Re: Six Nations: France v England Thread
Harinordoquy deserved the MOTM in my opinion. He was literally one of the few french players who can hold their head high. Put his all into that game. I think Picamoles should have been starting over Bonnaire from the start though. He immediately had a huge impact for France.

I'd probably say its pretty tight but I would still give it to Wales and Ireland, simply because for the second half, there was a large period of unforced errors and nothing much happening, but an enthralling encounter all the same

I enjoyed both the welsh vs Italy and Ireland vs scotland matches.
Rolland took so long to reset scrums, lineouts and penalty decisions that this was boring at stages.

mystir
First half France were not there, 2nd half until the last 6/7 minutes nothing happened apart from a yellow card, and a penalty!
5 minutes of excitement does not make a great game!!

Re: Six Nations: France v England Thread
Well done England. Well reffed by Rolland who was willing to make some hard calls for offences.
Good finish. Next week's final match should be a cracker in Twickenham - looking forward to it. England will likely go into it as slight favourites possibly with the bookies.
Stuart Lancaster seems to have them rolling nicely.
