Don't think we have them any more because they always choose a Poopie one!

Maybe 606v2 could write and compose one. Viva can be lead vocals and cherries can play the recorder.

Laugh People would pay good money for that.

I liked 3 Lions. Don't know why, maybe because I play FIFA better when I hear it :/

Surely listening to 3 Lions as a Scotsman is like pouring acid into your ears?!

3 Lions was the best song of a football theme I've ever heard, definitely. The 1996 version I remember more than the 1998 one though.

I don't get World in Motion but I wasn't 'there', man.

It sounds a poor song all over to me and 3 Lions always evokes some pride filled response from me...even if we are, and have always been poo.

Fixed that ^^

I remember watching an episode of Family Fortunes and Vernon Kay forced JB to do his rap on TV.

I think I remember there was a Scotland "song" called "Don't Come Home Too Soon" or something. Tragic Laugh

Well for me I was a big New Order fan anyway so that was a big plus point (they come from round my way).
3 Lions though I can see why it appealed so much as it was bang smack in amongst the Loaded era where a lad was a laaaad etc.

And now I see
Ince ready for war
Gazza good as before
Shearer certain to score
And Physcho screaming THREE LIONS ON A SHIRT

I always play down England chances because we'll never win but when I hear this song I get a tingle and start to believe that we can go all the way, this song has an effect on people.

COME ON ENGLAND!!! WE GOING TO WIN THE DAMN THING.

Yeah I think I heard that. When I was a kid I had a Football Songs CD and it had all the classics, including the 1970 England song 'Back Home' as sung by the team. It was dire, but it's always stuck with me! Laugh

John Barnes must be sick of having to do that rap and being reminded about it all the time... I'll bet he was made to do the rap initially too, he probably didn't want to, but lets be honest, it wouldn't have looked right having Terry Butcher bust out the rhymes.

And everyone drank lager, liked Oasis and fancied Zoe Ball?

I loved the 90's, I was young but still my favourite decade by far

I remember Zoe Ball but as soon as it hit midnight on the 31st December 1999 she was swallowed up by the jaws of infinity and disappeared without a trace.

I know people who are stuck in the 90s. I miss the 90s (heard "Brimful of Asha" today).

I fancied Zoe Ball something chronic then.
Remember going to a mates birthday and downing a bottle and a half of Jack Daniels within the first 30 minutes of being there and my mates could only stir me from my drunken state by telling me Zoe Ball was naked on the tv.

Same thing happened to Jamie Theakston. Sad.

A lot of the music I like comes from the 90's although I'm redressing the balance a bit now. I just loved the time because it felt like so much was going on! Euro 96, Britpop, pogs...all the great stuff.

And then after Jamie + Zoe were sucked into the space time continuum, they were replaced by Jake Humphrey, Simon (Grant?) and Angellica Bell. I met all 3 of them at Heathrow.

She's on Sky Arts a lot I think, doing festivals and stuff. Along with Chris Evans. If the 90's had a face it would be an amalgamation of those two.

No, it's because I have a target who becomes available when the limit rises... And spent my cash on James Rodriguez based on what TSC said yesterday.

We try and be coy, but only 4 players come in under the new limit.

Hamsik - at Viva City
Song - Unwated by Twist
John Terry (his mum's a shoplifter)
Mr Chiellini (as if you didn't know...)

No because then there would be less point in allowing a star player bid to be made

Which will be similar in operation to the first draft, with everyone submitting their bid to Hero via PM and the price they'll pay

In case of clashes the highest bid wins

Just my opinion but I'd think it would detract from domestics too, because people will generate cash from lawyers, make a TP and then release someone!
