2 v 1 Gerrard - Dempsey, Soldado
1 v 2 Soldado X2 , Gerrard
1 v 2 Ba - Soldado, Farfan

Three winning votes. Sorry Olly, but if it was a draw then I've won it on the 3 wins = 1 more goal ruling.

Sodhat, its always been as above hasn't it? Apologies if I'm mistaken.

Before people keep mouthing off at me, they were the scores that came into me.

I presume therefore that the person who voted meant Just 1 goal to one of those strikers as in the write up he does credit the win to Viva.

And in regards to the Marky/Olly game, yes the 2-1 Gerrard score line should be reversed to make it in a 3-1 win for Marky.

Again though it's people sending the result to me that way, I'm just copy and pasting it.

Sorry Olly, I actually feel a bit bad!

I'd like to think it was a blessing in disguise Rafinha was injured and Boateng was at RB. If he's been trusted with marking C.Ronaldo tonight then Bale was a breeze!

Reasons for the two Championship games (that needs them):

Go Ahead Eaaagles v Real Nadrid

Nadrid with a good pacy counter attacking side, but I feel the dominance of Schweinsteiger and Bender in midfield for the Eaaagles controlled the game, Garcia well out of his depth. Lucas is a good AM but he's a better winger, so he wasn't as effective as he could've been.
The Eaaaagles full backs are going to struggle against Valencia and Young who will be able to supply the ammo for Klose to score. Equally the inexperience of Smalling/Jones against Higuain and the ability of Schwein and Bender to get a foothold in the middle means I can't see past Eaaaagles snatching a draw back. One area to improve may well be on the wings - better service could see them get the goals to win this one if they met again.
Russ's high line and high pressure gameplan works a treat as NADrid aren't able to get anything going due to Carrick being sufficated by Bender and Schweinsteiger. Young scores a consolation for Nadrid but the Eagles pick up an easy win here.
I feel that Eagles pushing forward from the defence and Nadrid playing a little deeper allowed them to dictate the game. The Eagles players were instructed better and got to Carrick on a few occasions slowing down Nadrids attack.
Playing a high defensive line, even without the pace in the strikeforce, is suicide against a team with two fast wingers. Klose is the kind of goal area predator who would thrive on along the ground crosses from out wide. Even with tactics covering Klose, the amount of chances he would get means he will convert them. Higuian does get a consolation goal, but a defence that knows each other well, stands firm.

Trebles Revenge v Jacamos United

Two very strong sides but I feel Trebles' side were better prepared and this gave them the edge in a tight game.
Strikingly similar tactics from the sides I feel, both playing the same systems and both with similar gameplans. I see the midfield being a battle field and with the energy of Marchisio and Vidal it will be tough for Jacamos to control it with their pure passers. Instead I see it getting boggy and both teams worthy of a point.
Really can't pick apart these two sides. Trebs tactics of showing wingers onto their wrong foot works a treat for most of the game. But Jacamos's full backs are also able to negate Treble's wingers. Very tight game with both sides nicking a goal, really can't pick a winner.
Treble did well scouting the opposition before the game and it worked, Clichy was quick enough to keep up with the wingers and kept them at bay. I think the deciding point was Wellbeck putting pressure on Alonso and telling the two CM to fight Vidal and Marchiso because there was only going to be one winner.
Two teams with a lot of quality, but I think Jacamos midfield partnership lowers the amount of chances Trebles gets. Even with Vidal playing a blinder, I still think Jacamos has a lot up front to get something out of this game. A close one to call tactics wise, but I give Jacamos the edge.

Good game Nando.

Guys I need a little help, I've created a gmail account for my mobile so I can download apps. Can I merge that with my email address so I get messages in one?

Most of my stuff are on my email such as 606 and Internet shopping.

I think Aggers and Kjaers performance was overrated, I watched the game and the Dutch opened them apart and if it wasn't for poor finishing they would have scored at least 3. Yes they did make some good tackles but they did get done just the finishing.

I presume you can, if it was an iPhone I'd be able to tell you how, as it's a cheap knockoff I can't though. Whistle

Because Jerome Boateng at RB, the guy who was trusted with Cristiano Ronaldo last night, was only against Gareth Bale, and Boateng eats Bale for breakfast Whistle
