Right.

I have assessed my squad and I am going to decline all offers made.

Podolski and Xavi are not going to be going anywhere very fast, whilst I need to build up the squad a little by raising cash before I sell any of the rest. I am starting to build for next season to quote Cf

The GB Olympic squad has been announced.

J Allen (Swansea), C Bellamy (Liverpool), R Bertrand (Chelsea), J Butland (Birmingham), S Caulker (Tottenham), T Cleverley (Manchester United), J Cork (Southampton), C Dawson (West Brom), R Giggs (Manchester United), A Ramsey (Arsenal), M Richards (Manchester City), D Rose (Tottenham), S Sinclair (Swansea), M Sordell (Bolton), J Steele (Middlesbrough), D Sturridge (Chelsea), N Taylor (Swansea), J Tomkins (West Ham).

There is some good talent in there. I'm glad/disappointed that no Norwich players made it. Thought Ryan Bennett might

He was injured since like when this started TwisT, so that's why nobody signed him. Think he is a 15 goal a season striker, very solid player. Never going to tear a defence apart though

Well Bent is a good back-up to Giroud and I took him while his TM value is low. A few goals at the beginning and it could go up to 25m again.

I disagree. I think Giroud is just a player Arsenal needs. Good in the air, and gives them a much needed other dimension. I think they will get a good return from the 12m and the profit they get from selling RVP.

Eh if Bent stays fit all season I can see him scoring 15-20 goals next season. Giroud for me is a good player and I am interested to see how he adapts to the Premier League. Reckon he will score 10-15 goals. Will be tight between the two me thinks Very Happy

Bent will score about 10 goals, Giroud will be the next Chamakh and Adebayor will outscore both. Only issue is who he's playing for when he's outscoring them, 99% sure it's Spurs if they get a cheap deal.

BTW Olly, I don't know if you saw, but I am on holiday next week. So this week's injuries for Real Ale, are actually next week's (as I am not in the cup). I will be posting tactics for our game this week OK

If Twist and Olly agree, as well as the voters, it could be a rearranged game!

I think you should post tactics for our game next week Olly as usual. Otherwise people will be voting in two different places and it will get messy. Just enjoy the week off of doing tactics OK

I'm happy to do tactics next week, but just wondered whether you wanted me to put them up this week to stop any accusations of cheating. Not that I would anyway OK

Right, Sporting Sideburns is to be renamed with an Everton/music theme. I am down to a shortlist of 2...

Gwladys Street Preachers
or
Kings of Leon Osman

The only non Everton one I could remember was Substandard Liege, which I am actually really tempted by
