With the season coming to an end and no summer tournament this could be a big summer for transfers. Here are some of the rumours I've heard. Please leave you're own and discuss the likelyhood of these happening.

Ajax boss Martin Jol may make a return to Fulham if Mark Hughes - currently on a one-year deal - leaves the club in the summer.

Talks over the long-term future of Kenny Dalglish at Liverpool started weeks ago, says the president of the club's owners, Fenway Sports Group.

A host of Championship clubs are already battling it out to try and secure a deal for Manchester United starlet Nicky Ajose, skysports.com understands.

Ajose is one of a number of burgeoning United talents currently on loan away from Old Trafford. But none have enjoyed making as big an impact as Ajose has this season in his home town of Bury.

Ajose, who can play on the wing or as a second striker, has played a huge role in Bury's promotion push, scoring 12 goals in 24 league games.

United were already more than happy with Ajose's progress and handed him a new contract in January before he extended his loan with Bury.

Bury would love the chance to take him back to Gigg Lane next term, especially if, as expected, they seal promotion to League One.

But it seems his next step will be in the Championship with half-a-dozen clubs already keeping regular checks on him.

Skysports.com understands that Leeds, Norwich and Middlesbrough are amongst the clubs keen to take him, whilst League One promotion contenders Southampton are also keeping tabs on him.

Haven't heard anything regarding Rangers, the only snippet was that Ally McCoist was running the rule over Ipswich defender Gareth McAuley (anyone got any info on him?)

As for Liverpool we've been linked with Jose Enrique at Newcastle, Ashley Young & Stewart Downing at Aston Villa (think it's either or, not both), Matt Jarvis at Wolves, Charlie Adam at Blackpool (we're apparently his 'favoured destination'), Roger Johnson at Birmingham and Gary Cahill at Bolton. There's a tonne of other guys that we've been rumoured to be after that I can't remember off the top of my head. Oh yeah, Sylvain Marveaux from Rennes is one of them, apparently he's agreed to sign for us in the summer.

To be honest if you bought every player they get linked with over the close season they'd have a different XI every season.

Saying that though Modric would be a nice signing. Don't need Bale.

Nigel Reo-Coker will leave Aston Villa on a free at the end of the season, various clubs are interested in him these reportedly include, Galatasaray, Juventus, Roma, Napoli, Inter Milan, A.C. Milan, and Fiorentina
Update from post above, the Atletico goalkeeper David De Gea has a contract buy-out clause of €25million, and both Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in signing him

Not seen him play much, but if both Chelsea and Man Utd are happy to pay over £20million for him then he must be good. I'd be surprised if they aren't looking at quite a few goal keepers though, quite a few had very good world cups, and they could even try to get Given from Man City, may not be the long term answer but he is still a quality keeper that could do a good job, and he wants to leave.

That's what I was thinking, the fact Given wants to leave would suggest he'll be cheaper, the only problem is he is already 35 so he is getting towards the end of his career, plus as he is a proven goalkeeper in the premier league I'm sure if it got out they had accepted an offer there would be plenty of others interested in signing him.

I'll be surprised if Arsenal sell Gael Clichy, I don't think Gibbs is ready yet to take over and they've got plenty of other issues that they don't need to add more by selling Clichy.

I agree with Rossi, they need quality in the centre forward position, as good as Pedro, Bojan etc. are going to be they aren't that good now and Real Madrid can easily catch up. He's got 50 goals from 122 league goals, imagine what he could do with the Barcelona players setting him up.

Celtic, Wigan, Everton and others are all going to be fighting to sign Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Keiren Westwood on a free, as his contract with Coventry runs out at the end of the season, and Coventry wouldn't sell him in the January window. Thus robbing Carlisle United of their 25% sell on clause Sad

which when they had offers of at least £1million in January is VERY VERY annoying!!!

The problem with Clichy is he won't sign a new contract and his runs out at the end of next season. Don't see him going to Liverpool thin Real Madrid would be a better bet hey need a left back.
Westwood wanted to come to Celtic but Coventry were asking for to much money considering he was coming into the last year of his contract. Shame Carlisle lose out they could be doing with the cash.

Zenit St Petersburg are interested in bringing Andrei Arshavin back to Russia.

Zenit are also supposedly interested in a £20m move for former Celtic star Aiden McGeady who is currently at fellow Russian club Spartak Moscow.

Juventus interested in Machester City manager Roberto Mancini and full back Micah Richards although the latter seems highly unikely.

Jose Mourinho wants to bring his former Chelsea captain John Terry to Real Madrid.

Yep we really could use the money it would have given us, but our managers used to working with no money so I'm sure we will cope.

Has he said he won't sign a new contract? I thought Wenger was hopeful on both him and Nasri signing new contracts.

It was in the paper and on Sky Sports news last week that contract talks had stalled making him good for a move elsewhere.
Apparently Barca and Real are interested. Barca need to strengthen their squad and Clichy would push Maxwell for a place. Real need a left back Jose wanted one when he took the job and still hasn't got one.

TBH mate think this might just be paper talk can't see it happening Real want to build a team based on younger players and won't pay over the top for a 30+ player that's why they never signed Maicon or Cole last summer. Chelsea would be lucky to get £10m from Real for him they only payed £8m for Carvalho who I always thought was the better of the 2.

Steve Bruce will be given the green light to sign up to 5 strikers
Blackburn and Everton are tracking the availability of Espanyol's Jose Callejon, he had a price tag of €8million in January but this is expected to have dropped with his contract up next summer and the club having financial difficulties
Michel Bastos will not make his decision about leaving Lyon until the end of the season, with Juventus apparently leading the chase for his signature
Vladimir Weiss would be happy to return premanently to Rangers next season, but is unsure if they can meet Manchester City's demands
Bolton being made to wait until the end of the season before they can enter negotiations with Chelsea over Daniel Sturridge

Not sure about the link with Barcelona, they have Maxwell, Adriano who can play both sides, and Abidal. Although Abidal is expected to move into the Centre when Puyol retires they do have other's who could fill this role with both Henrique, and Caceres out on loan at other La Liga clubs they also have Milito.

Real Madrid would seem the more obvious of the two, as neither Marcelo or Arbeloa are natural left backs.

I doubt Chelsea would be prepared to sell him for £10million, and even if they were I still think it would be a poor signing. Also Maicon's not 30, and Cole wouldn't have been 30 in the summer, and Terry is two years younger than Carvalho.

Surely you should be looking to make this sort of signing if you fail to the win the league too, if you think they're good enough to help you retain the title they should be good enough to help you win it.

We couldn't get them this year we never had the money but winning the league wuld pretty much guarantee champions league footbal which would pay for either one.

I meant at the end of this season, if you want them when you win the league to help you to progress further in the champions league, why not sign them to take you to the champions league in the first place? If your team is good enough to take you there give them a chance to prove themselves.

We have quite a young squad and are not great up front would add good experience and quality to the squad but only at the right price. We don't have the money to buy players with no sell on value for a high fee.

Juventus have won the race to sign the highly rated Brazilian brothers Gabriel and Guillherme Appelt Pires.

Paul Jewell is lining up a £2million bid to take Craig Mackail-Smith to Ipswich
Leeds have approached Coventry keeper Kieran Westwood over a move to Elland Road when his contract is up in the summer
Spartak Moscow want to sign Yuri Zhirkov from Chelsea
Sven Goran-Erikson will be given a £10million transfer budget in the summer (Daily Express claim he has been told to make 12 signings)

Saint Johnstone left back Danny Grainger is expecting to leave the club on a free in the summer, with Carlisle being the team he supports and us being very short on left back's after Sean McDaid being forced into retirement this seems a very likely move.
Stoke's young winger Ben Marshall is unlikely to return on loan again to Carlisle after saying he understandably wants to test himself at a higher level, many Carlisle fans felt we wouldn't even be able to get him to return this year so this isn't much of a surprise.
Sunderland's Liam Noble however is expected to be returning on loan next season, but Abbott remains keen to make the deal permanent.

City are battling with Chelsea to sign 17-year-old Paris St Germain striker Jean-Christophe Bahebeck, who has been dubbed 'the new Nicolas Anelka' and is available on a free transfer.
Inter Milan are planning to sell Wesley Sneijder, Samuel Eto'o and Julio Cesar to fund a bid for Arsenal playmaker Cesc Fabregas.
Schalke are eyeing Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Friedel as they step up their search for Manuel Neuer's successor.

Don't see why Arsenal would sell Cesc for £35m he is worth £50m in todays market.
£15m for Jones of Blackburn is a lot of money for a realtively unproven player. Remember Liverpool have young Danny Wilson they bought from Rangeres who is an excellent centre back.
Towell should be sent to the championship on loan he has proved he is good enough to play for a poor SPL team Championship or League 1 would be a tougher test and prove if he has what it takes to come back to Celtic and make his mark.
