Here’s how it basically works.
You have a budget of 100m to purchase a squad with the following stipulations:

1. You MUST have a minimum of 6 players from the country designated to you.
2. You MUST have a minimum of 3 players that were born on or after 1st October 1991.
3. You CANNOT go over the squad limit of 25.

To buy your squad then you must make sealed bids for the players. How this works is that you check the value of the players on TM, the MINIMUM cost is what their value is on there, but you can bid more than that as others may wish to buy that player. The maximum value of a player that you can bid for is £12m although may wish to bid more than that in order to acquire him.
So for example;
Bull places a sealed bid of 875k for Paul Scholes as that is the TM value.
Viva places a sealed bid of 1m for Scholes as he thinks others may be bidding for him.

Viva therefore wins.

ALL squads are PM’d to myself and a designated neutral party (to ensure fairplay I will send my squad list first so it cannot be said I’ve gazumped anyone). I then reveal who has got which player in the first draft.
We continue the process until everyone has then spent up and we move onto the Star Player bid which works under the same principle although you have a budget of 25m + whatever remained from your normal bids for ONE player who has a value up to 25m

nah, I look at the facts, he never sticks around at clubs long
Think we were club he was longest at, but most of the others have been around a season if not less. as soon as he sees a 'better' club come along he will jump

He may see a P45 come along if he doesn't pick it up at Villa.

Lambert is hardly the epitome of loyalty, I agree. And I think he took a massive step back in moving to Villa - the direction Norwich were moving in, they had a better chance of kicking on than Villa ever will have under their current regime.

Tooze is right though. If offered the opportunity to move from Villa to a bigger club he would snap it up. Ambition is what it is called.

And I don't see how anyone can be in danger of the sack only 5/6 games into there tenure. Like the some pathetic Norwich fans already calling for Hughton's head after 6 games, get a grip, takes time to install a new manager's ideas

Are there already dissenters?

It would have been a hard act for Lambert himself to follow that first year, so Hughton has a huge ask. If things don't pick up, at what point do you see him being booted?

There are already dissenters after only 6 games. 6 games!!!!

Of course it's a hard act to follow, and some fans are clearly still hung up on Lambert. Amazingly I am not one of them. Some seem to think Hughton should just do what Lambert did, but obviously they don't understand he isn't a Lambert clone.

I'd say Christmas is when if things don't pick, he will be in danger. It all depends on our position in the league. I mean we could get to 10 points, with no wins and be outside the bottom three or be on 15 points with a couple of wins and be inside the relegation zone. It's all relative

Cool. I should be on tomorrow night (I don't get to play every night as my wife is a cruel mistress...)

I will always choose Albion, so consider your choice of team carefully. Anything less than Crawley Town or AFC Bournemouth and I may stand a chance of beating you Shocked

This is very true Ok!

On this article one of the items is knowing your best team, and that Everton's is clear.

This is probably true, but if you had to guess our best starting XI, what do you think it would be (with everyone fit)

They show the replays of the goal after on the screens and cos we were up the other end we didnt realise so when they showed the replay everyone around me and my two mates were raging and by that point we had given up hope so we just found it hilariously funny lol

It was the shoulder one. Only Balotelli would be daft enough to think about doing it.

I have beaten every BOSS on every game I've ever played. You name it - Streets of Rage, Mortal Kombat, Dig Dug...I've taken them all on, and won. So count yourself fortunate that I'm not loaded, else I'd buy a PS3, adapt my XBOX controller to work on that rubbish console, then book you into the Smackdown Hotel on the corner of Jabroni Drive and Knowyourrole Boulevard and layeth the smacketh down*

Eating baked beans, cold or warm, makes me sick. Which is what you make me, you stripey fiend. Get back to eating cactus in the desert.

Laugh

I cannot believe I forgot Fellaini. 1) Your best player, 2) easily the most recognisable appearance in the PL, 3) your username.

But that's how my team looked to begin with, I had left the AM position as "??" before I re-jigged! Oh, and Neville ahead of Gibson still, with Hibbert still at RB. Didn't have Heitinga > Distin. Doesn't look like Moyes does either?

Norwich's team is:

Ruddy
Norfolk Cafu - Barnett - Bassong - Garrido
Snoddy - Foxy Baby - Howson - Pilkington
Wesley
Holty

That would be my best norwich side

It varies. Heitinga was our player of the year last season.

Atm, Heitinga is getting picked and Distin is on the bench, but it is basically Jag's plus one of those two.

RB will vary. If we want to attack from RB, then it will be Coleman, if we are up against a top class LW, then he will go more conservative and pick either Hibbert or Neville.

Mirallas will stay as RW, although he does have licence to come inside centrally by the look of things

Proabably bad taste.

What about Gibson - is he really preferred to Neville in CM? I don't see much of him...is he actually any good?

Proabably bad taste.

What about Gibson - is he really preferred to Neville in CM? I don't see much of him...is he actually any good?

Yeah. he's proving as good a signing as Jelavic. I had serious doubts about him, but he is proving to be very effective at getting the ball as a deep midfielder and dictating the tempo. He is out injured and fans are anxious to get him back asap.

CB all day long for me, then CM...

Then up front. The white Carlton Cole will never make it.

Personally I would look to bring in another striker first. An upgrade on Jackson but in his type of mould of someone who could play anlongside Holt/Morison but could be an impact off the bench also.

I would also bring in anothe CB but Barnett looks a lot better with a leader like Bassong alongside him.

I personally think we are good at CM, and in fact our players there are quite under valued. Especially Howson who I think will be our player of the season and has start off solidly. I would look to pick up another winger as we only really have Snoddy, Pilks and Benno

I agree Olly. i think Fox and Howson are quality Championship midfielders and will be vital to your promotion push next year.

You can understand the logic, with Leeds having been higher flyers in recent years Rolling Eyes

Interesting read about Gary Neville as a pundit:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/oct/02/gary-neville-sky-tv-rio-ferdinand

He's certainly more interesting to listen to than anyone on MOTD - especially Lawrenson. All he does is make snidey comments.
