Here’s how it basically works.
You have a budget of 100m to purchase a squad with the following stipulations:

1. You MUST have a minimum of 6 players from the country designated to you.
2. You MUST have a minimum of 3 players that were born on or after 1st October 1991.
3. You CANNOT go over the squad limit of 25.

To buy your squad then you must make sealed bids for the players. How this works is that you check the value of the players on TM, the MINIMUM cost is what their value is on there, but you can bid more than that as others may wish to buy that player. The maximum value of a player that you can bid for is £12m although may wish to bid more than that in order to acquire him.
So for example;
Bull places a sealed bid of 875k for Paul Scholes as that is the TM value.
Viva places a sealed bid of 1m for Scholes as he thinks others may be bidding for him.

Viva therefore wins.

ALL squads are PM’d to myself and a designated neutral party (to ensure fairplay I will send my squad list first so it cannot be said I’ve gazumped anyone). I then reveal who has got which player in the first draft.
We continue the process until everyone has then spent up and we move onto the Star Player bid which works under the same principle although you have a budget of 25m + whatever remained from your normal bids for ONE player who has a value up to 25m

2-2 is not a bad result. It was a good game but Barca's defence fell apart as shown by ronaldo's second goal. Real didn't do enough of through balls and try and beat the offside trap against this makeshift defence.

What the hell is up with FIFA 13...haven't been able to connect to the EA servers all weekend, can't even tweet them cause their account is overloaded with people complaining, and there's no other apparent outlet for my rage steam

Yello,
Azzy, dont bother tweeting EASports they never responde. I purchased some points for my UT and they never registered. Twtted them and got nothing, couldnt find a contact email on the website, even made a thread on the forums thinking an EA admin would get back to me, nope, not a thing. They've sold you the game, what more do they care?

I've got 9 in, plus another 3 definately not submitting (maybe more I may have missed someone telling me they weren't submitting). So would still be waiting on 4

Viva
Zinedine
Nadeem
Russ

Now I do have a star player bid from Nad which may mean he is not doing a 3rd draft

Does 3rd draf go to Afro? I will send now.

Loved his comment: "Just coming out the hospital to go home... Seriously feel like I've left something?"

The last two paragraphs of that article makes me physically cringe. I used to know a guy that fell out of a tree onto a picket fence and split his sack, lost a nut.

Morning folks.

With Viva and Zinedine doing their drafts now, the only other one we are waiting on is Russ.

Can someone track him down because then I can get the results of draft 3 up and we can open Star Players

Apparently it affects balance so they recommend getting a falsie in.

I wouldn't be proud - I like having two, because it's an insurance policy if something happens to the other in later life. I want to keep my buffer for as long as possible.

No need, Francis Benali will be taken in the 3rd round, so no-one will be able to land the prize Star Player.

He doesn't have a whole stack of cash left, so you could be right, but don't want to count him out entirely until he says as much

I don't know about the balance thing Sodhat the guy only had one, and another guy I know had to have his testicles shorten because they were hanging which makes it easier to twist them.

I didn't know such an operation was possible...

One of my mates brothers had a twisted nut, and he had to have a surprisingly long operation to untwist it without damaging it beyond repair. Apparently the pain of a twisted ball is extreme.

The worst thing that's happened to mine is various shots in the nuts during football.

Bales dive was the worst yet everyone seems to be talking more about Suarez' dive. Which was quite pathetic.

For me:

1. Bale's dive (terrible, worthy of a 3-game ban)
2. Suarez's dive (almost as bad, repeat offender, worthy of 3 games too)
3. Hazard's dive (this kid is a nightmare, give him 3 games too)
4. Huth's stamp (let him walk, he stamped on Suarez, who wouldn't)

The key is in the punishment. If you get an automatic 3-game ban for simulation, then the next time you get caught it's 4 games, then 5 etc etc.

I agree that they should start handing out match bans for diving, with it escalating the more you do it.

But the stamp has to be far worse as you could also take the opponent out of the game (ignoring the fact it's Suarez and as Azzy says, we'd all like a go at that stamp)

I like Suarez, anyone who can eat an apple through a letter box is ok by me.

Basketball have brought in similar actions to stop 'flopping' which is more rife than you'd imagine in a non-contact sport. We'll see if it works. Some of their play acting is up there with the footballers.

Its nice the way Bales dive was laughed off but Suarez' wasnt. Both should be banned for it.
Also agree with Azzy, Huth did what most of us would do if you seen Suarez on the floor.

It has been drawn.

It was done so that we had 2 from each country in each league and we had two runners in each league.

Other than that, it was done randomly
