Here’s how it basically works.
You have a budget of 100m to purchase a squad with the following stipulations:

1. You MUST have a minimum of 6 players from the country designated to you.
2. You MUST have a minimum of 3 players that were born on or after 1st October 1991.
3. You CANNOT go over the squad limit of 25.

To buy your squad then you must make sealed bids for the players. How this works is that you check the value of the players on TM, the MINIMUM cost is what their value is on there, but you can bid more than that as others may wish to buy that player. The maximum value of a player that you can bid for is £12m although may wish to bid more than that in order to acquire him.
So for example;
Bull places a sealed bid of 875k for Paul Scholes as that is the TM value.
Viva places a sealed bid of 1m for Scholes as he thinks others may be bidding for him.

Viva therefore wins.

ALL squads are PM’d to myself and a designated neutral party (to ensure fairplay I will send my squad list first so it cannot be said I’ve gazumped anyone). I then reveal who has got which player in the first draft.
We continue the process until everyone has then spent up and we move onto the Star Player bid which works under the same principle although you have a budget of 25m + whatever remained from your normal bids for ONE player who has a value up to 25m

It is staying at 12m. It was always going to be 12m. We have gone too far in the drafting process to change things now. It would mean having to redo everything again.

End of conversation OK

The stipulation from the beginning was always that 12m was the initial limit on TPs.
Ok, if that was it then thats it. I honestly wasnt aware of that.

Raise it by 0.5m then lol. Well my opinion is out there. You runners decide and inform the rest of us.

Once it's been a week from the official start of the league season (which is after the first game I think) then it will raise anyways. But in the meantime I think there is plenty left in TPs to be bought.

I was told its every two weeks. So I worked out if would go to £12.5m in gameweek 3.
I maybe incorrect

Okay guys, discussion over. £12m TP start. Question is, does it raise by £0.5m each week?

And with the season, it is just a 7-game season? Or a 14-game season? Or 7 games to decide the top 2 teams, then a semi-final and final?

No, it's every two weeks according to the discussions I've seen

I don't know on part 2 of your post. It will be a straight 7 game league season, but there may or may not be a cup competition.

I'd like to see how, because TM's valuation of players is very odd and any upgrades I see to your team are coming from within the league or over £12m. The quality from under £12m is almost all gone.

I'm pretty sure I can upgrade on Cassani, Maxwell, Bardi etc for under £12m

Bull's point is very valid.

Had it been announced that the TP limit would start at £14m, then many would have held off from spending in the drafts ion £12m player in order to get some £14m players instead.

With what, you have no money. And even if you did get some, that would mean you'd sacrificed another part of your team.

Guys, as I said to Soddy earlier I honestly did not know £12m had been decided earlier. I was 100% unaware to that. As that is the case then I have no comment to make on the matter.

For example, Week 1 I submit tactics and vote meaning I get £2m. Potentially I win as well and get another £2m win bonus.

I get a lawyers offer for Matip and Cassani (11m and 5m respectively).

I then have £20m to buy a new CB and a new RB better than Matip and Cassani. I'm sure for £10m each I can find better. They might not be the best, but they can be improvements.

Week 3 I might get another lawyers offer for that £10m RB, which will be £12m. Any voting bonus will allow me to sign a £12.5m RB instead.

Therefore, the improvement in the league is gradual through to the likely end in season 3 when we will be looking at £20m+ players from TPs

Are we still doing win bonuses? I thought they were on the chopping block

I always wondered the sense of a win bonus because it makes the strong (winning) teams stronger. Maybe best that no bonuses are awarded in case a chasm opens up as cash gets tighter.

I hope we are using my idea, where teams will be punished if they don't vote or do tactics instead of money bonus for doing them. It'll hurt them a lot more that way.

Still getting voting and media bonuses, but -1 goal penalty etc rule will be applied more strictly this time around Viva.

On the win/draw bonus, I can see three options:
1) No win/draw bonuses at all
2) Reducing over the game - i.e. £2m for win, £1m for draw in season 1; £1m & £0.5m in season 2; nothing in season 3.
3) £2m to the losers, £1m for a draw, nothing for a win

Yeah I don't like the idea of rewarding losers either, so I just think scrap the bonus and keep the playing field level.

Black Ops Zombies Game Modes
'Grief' is a new mode, available for up to 8 players that takes the concept of Survival and adds a competitive twist. In this mode, two teams of four players are dropped within the zombie-infested Tranzit world and must outlive the opposing team.

"This is what I've called in the past '4z4,'" Lamia says, detailing a mode that breaks down to a simple descriptor of Humans vs. Humans vs. Zombies. "It's really humans versus zombies, because the zombies don't care what team you're on. They just want human flesh and brains."

In this mode, human players cannot kill each other; however, they can play with the world to put the opposing team in precarious situations – hence the name 'Grief.' The last human team standing wins the match.

Standard elements like blocking passages seem to be on the docket to make the other team's life harder, but Lamia says there are "new mechanics exclusive to this mode" that players can employ to grief the other team with. When pressed for details, Lamia wouldn't budge on what those elements are.
That Grief sounds like it will be stressful.

So current opinion seems to be scrap win/draw bonuses.

Retain £2m voting and tactics bonus (to retain some cash inflow other than lawyers)

Penalties for those who do not submit votes or tactics (incl no explanation for vote) of -1 goal if 1 day late, and auto defeat if any later than that.
