Final cook listens to me.

And now we are down to the usual 160 making Aussie final partnership.

Only need 80 but I reckon they'll fall 72 runs short.

Oh yes, Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy!

Anderson gets Siddle for 11 - his 4th and is 1 wicket away from a 10-wicket match haul. Cook redeems himself for his earlier dropped catch.

The fat lady takes her place at the microphone...

This has been a magnificent spell from Jimmy. Again.

Hope he gets the last one. Though as Dyrewolfe points out , Finn can probably be trusted to finish it now Smile

Whilst Haddin is out there this is still in the balance.

Imagine how much easier this was without the agar innings,  will he ever do it against they will know about him? Because of him Aussie can still win this.

Bloody hell - I think we spoke too soon.

Finn getting some stick from Haddin who brings up a battling 50 with a brutish boundary.

If Pattinson can stick around, they just might actually do this... Shocked

Haddin going all-out attack with 3 fours in one over. 15 in total from the over and less than 50 needed for the win.

the rev counter is very interesting - when swan hits the red zone 2300 plus- almost every delivery is good and causes problems

Suppose lunch is postponed ...which is a pity for Anderson , who would otherwise be back in forty minutes.

Finn needs to attack Pattinson now...

Oh dear god...Cook perseveres with Finn and the runs continue to flow - off the bat and byes...

If we lose this Cook is going to take some stick...though not nearly as much as Finn I suspect.

See , Dyrewolfe , this is why we were all staying anxious before...when Anderson isn't bowling this attack can look a bit ordinary.
Touch of panic can come in too...Aussies have nothing to lose , will keep swinging.

Broad now after the failed Finn experiment.

I knew this would get close...

But this is ridiculous, considering Broad and Swann have been among the wickets. Why are we choking at the final hurdle? Why are our other bowlers suddenly giving runs away?

At least Finn has the excuse he's hardly bowled.
