First topic message reminder :

Quite looking forward to this game, anyone know what sort of attendance is expected? I reckon could be closer than people think. A few of my English mates reckon 4-0 or 5-0 wins but just don't think that'll happen tbh, hopefully I'm not wrong! Wish game culd have been at Hampden so there would have been cracking atmosphere but I'm hoping Wembley surprises me although I'm not expecting it. I hope to see Bridcutt play, not seen too much of him but impressed by limited amount I've seen. And I hope Rooney plays too.

I reckon Joe Hart is massively overrated at minute. Only position i feel Scotland are better than England is goalkeeper actually, if McGregor were 6'3" and not 6'0" it wouldn't even be a discussion. Andy Goram who anyone knows was world class in his prime said as much in an interesting article today. And since nobody else has mentioned it as far as I can see, I have to say Scott Brown was immense last night, wound up the England players as he does anyone and at his combative best. And respect to Kenny Miller too, what a shift for the old timer.

Gianluigi Buffon has admitted he will face the heir to his throne in tomorrow’s Euro 2012 showdown.

Buffon says Joe Hart is already one of the best three keepers in the world – and believes the England keeper could become No.1 in the future.

World Cup winner Buffon, 34, who has won 117 caps, is regarded as one of the best of all time and says Hart is already not far behind him.

Manchester City keeper Hart has described Buffon as his hero and so the Italy legend’s rich praise will be appreciated before they go head to head in Kiev tomorrow.

Buffon said: “Hart is one of the three best goalkeepers in the world. Together with Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich and Germany) and Salvatore Sirigu (Buffon's back-up with Italy, now at Paris Saint Germain), he can become the best goalkeeper in the world.

“His aim is not to commit mistakes during one season. The maximum number of mistakes a keeper can commit is two or three, but he doesn’t seem to make mistakes.

It is a year old mind.
Still young is hart. Young GK's are gonna make mistakes. It's whether he chooses to learn from them and become better for them, or just remain inconsistent which will stop him being one of the best
Should concentrate on his game, not fannying around making rubbish shampoo adverts, ironic when his hair is only fractionally better than the awful barnets of Terry and Gerrard (he of no forehead)

I'm probably not qualified on MOTD highlights to make sweeping statements about Hart

But I agree about McGregor, despite being an absolute Kumquat, he's a great goalkeeper, surprised it's taken this long for him to get a shot in the premiership.

No doubt he has earned the shagger nickname and so is easily disliked but is world class shotstopper (never forget point blank save vs werder bremen in champions league or vital penalty save ve celtic at ibrox) and as evident to anyone from last night, brilliant with ball at feet and placing kicks. Only real negative is height and that will always go against him but he saves his club time after time as well as Scotland and even his blunders don't come too often. Scots always have good goalkeepers, unfortunate we can't say that about other positions!
