He was fairly meh

And I got no problems with Rooney trying to score that chance, pretty much every striker ever would shoot there

Wow from Real, superb tonight. PSG very good as well. City will get much harder tests as will united

Didn't see any of Bayern's match, anyone got any analysis?

Why aren't Juve using Llorente?

Saw somewhere they attempted 49 crosses in the game, but he was on the bench. Has he played much this year for them?

I do. When your only 1-0 up in the first CL match of the new season, in that situation the ball should be in the net. Rooney should of given it to RVP the first time the square ball was on before he beat the keeper.

Just watching the highlight show, ITV only showed about 1 minute 30 seconds of the Real Sociedad vs Shakhtar highlights so nothing really to judge on.

Bleeding Juventus cost me my bet.

Juve were poor.
I only watched ITV's poor highlights so wasn'tenough to judge how impressive teams were.
Man United did look good with Fellaini in midfield, Kagawa had a decent game played some good passes showed glimpses of how threatening he can be. We conceded 2 poor goals which took away what would of been an impressive win.
Rooney wanting to be top dawg failed to square the ball to RVP to tap into an empty net, took the keeoer on beat him then still didnt square it & missed an open goal. He still had a good match in the end but that for me is a problem.

Harsh, you at least have 6 goals.

I think you are being a bit harsh on Anichebe. Granted he is not Lukaku, but he is better than you are making out.

Anichebe is a terrible, terrible footballer. He falls over constantly, he is built like Papa Shango but plays like Hornswoggle. He can't shoot, can't head, can't hold up play, and HE COST US £6M Doh

Yes! TM updated all the PL players, I signed Ilori for £1.3m and he's now worth £6.2m Euro Division LXV - Page 6 3559488474

Paulinho got £7m extra, Wanyama £7m too, Lamela up by £6.2m, Anichebe is now £5.7m Laugh

Tis on top of yesterday's La Liga increases too. Herrera went up masses.

One thing he does do is hold up play and no centre back will like playing against him.

The only flaw is he can't finish! If he had that, he'd be a great striker.

Give him a chance and I think WBA fans will be surprised. He'll never be prolific, and he's not a matchwinner and you won't ever understand why you paid £6m, but you will realise you have something better than you think you have

I've seen him play three times against Albion, and now once for Albion. His hold up play is rubbish. He can't outjump a CB, he can't direct his headers, and he has poor control. I'd rather play Anelka, Vydra, Rosenborg, Berahino, Long and Sessegnon ahead of him, it's the biggest waste of 50p - never mind £6m - in the club's history. He's utter tripe.

BBC Sport wrote:1029: FOOTBALL
Romelu Lukaku reveals a half-hour chat with Roberto Martinez convinced him to become an Everton player, reports the Liverpool Daily Post.

And the Belgium striker believes the Goodison outfit can benefit from his burning desire to become the best striker in the Premier League.

He said: "Fellaini and Kevin Mirallas spoke to me, but it was Roberto Martinez who convinced me.

"We spoke for half-an-hour; he explained to me how he wanted to work with me and what he wanted to improve with me."
Like Martinez has a proven record of improving strikers. Scotland, di Santo, Boselli, Sammon, Rodallega, de Ridder, Henriquez, McManaman, Camara, King. Kone was already a goalscorer and didn't actually improve either.

Victor Wanyama, Dejan Lovren, Ross Barkley and Nacho Fernandez all went up since being in my squad. Only bad one is James McCarthy's value going up after I sold him a few weeks ago, but seeing as he moved to Everton on deadline day that was inevitable.

It was only two dates with that 19 year old. You're just jealous because I won't date you.

I don't actually know how old she is. It's deceptive when women cross over like 27, because they could be late 30s and I couldn't tell the difference.

Age doesn't matter, bangability does. It's rare for me to look at a woman at work and think 'phwoar', but when I do, I am giving her a bangability score out of 100 in my head.

To do that you give her a projected score /10 in the ten key areas of the bedroom, add them up, if she's better than what you have right now, do it Euro Division LXV - Page 6 3559488474
