First topic message reminder :

As the old thread is reaching its max again, I thought I would set up a whole new 20 spare pages for you all to talk about things neither cultural or Cup based.

Not that it makes a difference.

All anthropod, cortex and mild stereotyping of northerners welcome in here.

Just don't ask about the 2014 cup competition though.

Morning, rick.

Yes, but I was absolutely inundated with PM's last night from the people of 606v2 begging me to burn my badges and come back to my people. I had literally figuratively thousands of them.

Absolute power and all that, has Galted forgiven you or has he flounced off to the Film Boards, I see that Toppy has popped over also, dark days indeed.

Another day off work today - I'm afraid I will spend it fretting about the damage Tina will inflict on the site with his new found powers. Either that or I will work out my frustration by "accidently" kicking a 7 year old boy in the face when I take my daughter to soft play.

Galted sent me a PM last night with a picture of him about to set fire to his new Hi-Tecs if I didn't relinquish power. I was really upset.

I hope he comes back to us. I am still the same person I was before.

I would imagine by calling you "son" and making a markedly patronising comment, possibly dropping in a coloured mollusc into the mix.

I am sure that super is a bigger man than that Tino, though he is in a different area of the profession than me. But B*tchy comments are pretty par for the course in the legal profession, like models with absolutley none of the redeeming features...

I was in-house for a few years, Rick but came back to private practice last year.  It's just the same - except for junior lawyers who get beasted in private practice.  I saunter out the door at 5 most nights leaving all my work for the poor 20 something proles.

I am heading up to London tomorrow Galted. Going to see some sheeet insects at some museum. Tried to persuade the missus to do wrap-it-up instead of some Korean place she's found. She almost waivered after reading your review.

Good work, michaels. There's one near Charing Cross (in Villiers Street) though I haven't tried it. Get mine from the Broadgate one but not sure it's open on weekends. I'm probably going to London Aquarium tomorrow, I'm quite hopeful that it'll be all I dreamed about and more.

For a moment I thought the morning was off to a really bad start, with michaels using 'waivered' when he meant 'wavered', then I realised it was a clever law-related pun, in the context of the day's recent posts, and I cheered up. Well done sean!

I love the London Aquarium. Great place.

They have really good face painters down there as well although they are a little expensive at £5. The level of detail is amazing though.

Why don't you get your face painted as a lion and go round scaring kids?

Don't need to, I just wander around in my tracksuit, smoking a cigar, and they run screaming for some reason.

My missus is out tonight and all I was thinking was it is a great opportunity to sow my tomato seeds for the summer. With a few beers of course.

I was going to say I wish that were the case but I don't really. Unless the slightly angry Russian auditor popped round that is. Growing things is very therapeutic.

My old man has about 30 chickens. They do a lot of boneing - never seen anything like it. The Cockerells just march around bending over the hens and smashing them up. It's carnage first thing in the morning. The duck also tries to get in on the act but killed one of the miniature bantams last spring so is being monitored carefully at the moment.
