I wonder what the USTA will make of that

Got to love Mac though. He is totally different from the persona we were fed when he was a player.
Oh yeah, he's got an excellent sense of humour. I'd go out to the pub with him and Novak.
Too true.

Castle and Barker are abysmal!
Macenroe is pretty much the only one with both a clue and the guts to talk about it
Steady on. I like Mc but some of his theories are somewhat odd.
Where has Dimitrov joined the big 4? I would say the locker room but don't former champions have their own separate room?

Queen's = All 4 majors rolled into one. It means Murray is sitting with Sampras on 14
And Rafa is the GOAT with 18!!!!

Murray playing some rather loose shots.
Looks like the break hasn't helped!

Murray just a bit loose at times since the restart here, and Anderson just has a small foothold in the set.

Murray seems to have completely lost his timing out there.

regathers himself well though, and that's a very good hold from BP down.

Re: Wimbledon Day 7.... or 8?
that's a better service game from Murray, possibly helped by the newer balls, that should hopefully settle him a little.

Andy takes the second set on BP.
Another dreadful attempt at S&V by Anderson!!

If your Dimitrov/Mayer you must wonder if the match will finish today which will be good news for Murray.

Re: Wimbledon Day 7.... or 8?
Anderson just not getting to grips on the wide serve.
The penny might drop soon.

Also, let's home Kerber and Sharapova knock lumps out of each other and Djokovic has to come back tomorrow too

Or just that JWT has a running hot day and blasts Djoker off the court?

That would also do!! (but if he can do that in 5 sets running into tomorrow it would be better!!)

Anderson's played well this set, barely made a mistake. There's a bad one there at 30-30 though, and Murray holds on to lead 4-3

Chance in the set. Murray will win the match, might even be better for him if it goes to 4, as he'll get more of a test and JWT/Novak would certainly not finish today

Re: Wimbledon Day 7.... or 8?
Murray is clearly the form horse of the tournament, Anderson is the toughest of all opponents faced so far by the top 4 and yet he is dismantling him with ease.

I agree but top 8 and then top 4 opponents are a completely different prospect. And Nadal tends to improve through tournaments more than other players and Novak can bring form out of nowhere. Murray is the favourite though

Andy just a game away now.
You feel that Dimitrov/Mayer will be coming back tomorrow.

Anderson is fighting for everything on his serve!
Wouldn't surprise me if sneaked this set on the TB.

Yup he is more than capable of stealing a set on fast surfaces.

Re: Wimbledon Day 7.... or 8?
That was a solid TB from Murray. Good to get one under your belt. Through in straight sets.
Anderson showed some absolute grit and determination in that 3rd set and could count himself unlucky not to have won a set.
Still not tested enough though

Don't these walkovers understand they're not meant to fight back??
Well done Anderson. Great effort by the big man and in the end nearly got a set, but I'd be lying if I said he deserved one.
