I can't see how this is such a debate. Manning is a borderline top 10 QB while Brady is a 3rd string QB on the Broncos.

Is someone preparing a 606v3 for after the inevitable fallout? I suppose it wouldn't be an American Football forum without this thread though.

If I had one for their entire career I'd take Manning, if I had to take one now I'd take Brady. I feel Manning has begun to suffer with age and the lack of great weapons around him. The unspoken advantage of having Manning on your roster however is that you save the salary of an offensive coordinator (or at least you should if you had any sense).

Plax and Shockey were nice targets, while Manningham, Nicks and Smith are better collectively than most groups around the league.

Manning may be a better all round QB and have more stats but Tom has 3 rings to 1 of Manning, 20 years ago its who was better Joe Montana or Dan Marino Dan had the numbers Joe has the Rings, in the 70's it was Staubach and Bradshaw Rogers has 2, Terry 4, keep going back and you will always find 2 of each.

Don't mind admitting I hate these debates, they're two modern day greats and the need to have a 'winner' amongst them is unecessary IMO.
That said, numbers can be manipulated any way you like, what I think is never given enough consideration is how much easier life is for a QB in a dome compared to outdoors, especially in the cold NE when you get to around fall.
Both have a percentage completion around 64% (Manning slightly higher) both have a passer rating around 95 (Brady slightly higher), both have been exceptional QBs over many years.
For me I prefer to just enjoy watching the level these two play at without having to decide who I think is better.

Come on it has to be Brady. Just look at his wife!
