Always open. The Foreigns week runs Tuesday to Monday, so your 2 foreigns for the week resets tomorrow, if that is what you mean?

Also, if you want to accept your week 1 lawyers, you must do so today or they're lost

A classic battle that was a lot like Liverpool v Arsenal in 1989. One team built with big name stars, scoring for fun. The other a team of lesser known names, whose success was built on playing as a team and being hard to beat.

Meet on the last day of the season and all the money was on the big name as they were ahead in the table and had done it before. But when it comes to the match, the underdog prevails and lifts the trophy with one of the last kicks of the season

They get 24 hours to confirm, then they are fair game

That means there are several from the draft I can sign, correct?

I think though in order to avoid arguments etc that it'd be fair to notify them if you do spot a player like that to give them the chance to confirm it.

Then why bother having a confirmation page? And why tip off a rival to their mistake, simply allowing them to correct it?

It is only a game.

And we did manage to go 2 seasons without any arguments....

Because I know through experience that people then quit if the player that's on their team is suddenly snaffled by someone else and I'd like to keep the league ticking along nicely.

Seems a bit ridiculous to say fair game for players from the draft that we’re confir for us and have already been played etc

Just seems dicky to enforce a rule like that just to steal a player. Understand for normal foreign transfers though

On the flip side can people please ensure they do use the confirmation page, this is what I use to sort out squads on Fifa.
Ska think you one that hasn't put draft buys up on there and think there might be one other person.

Maybe for next season we just have one page, instead of lots of different places. All you have to do is have a confirmation page and then add an additional bit "Type = Foreign/Lawyer/Domestic/Draft"

I agree with this, think it's been far too convoluted for ages with the extra pages.

I think its fair to come to the conclusion that the drafts were all confirmed as part of the Draft process. Especially with a number of newbies to the league.

Today is the line in the sand. Anyone not confirmed in the 24 hour period from foreigns becomes fair game

Yeah I agree. It seems pointless to have to post everything twice. In the bidding war days I understand it, but definitely not in the current climate.

Seems logical to me.

Also think the 1 page for all transfers thing is fine as long as people actually make it clear what they are doing!

I also use it for budget stuff, so please make sure that page is absolutely right!

I agree having the list is helpful. Perhaps we can copy and paste that list into a topic on here (ie replace the contents) once a week or when you do your updates to the Google doc

Could do .. the tab in the spreadsheet shows every player who has been in the league, the date they entered the league (all end of Oct for starting squads) and the date they exit the league (when I've entered them into the spreadsheet)

I'm rubbish at formatting on here, but happy for someone else to paste it in
