I get the logic, effectively traded Buckner for Kinlaw, a 4th and about $15m in cap space!

Think I’d rather just pay Buckner! At least you know he is good. And the draft is essentially guesswork. It does sound like there will be WRs later though.

Jerry Jones said that Lamb was 6th overall on their board! Jefferson seems the last consensus first round WR so would think he goes soon.

I don't understand the Love trade. Rodgers was considered a top-5 pick and he slid down, GB went and got him. Love has huge question marks and the Packers are still a team that can win now if they get decent talent around Rodgers.

Have to agree Pr4wn. Not sure what Packers picks look like, but giving away a 4th to move up when there is so often talent available at the end of day 2 seems nuts.

None of the Seahawks, Ravens etc were taking Love either!

Pats trading down was good. Lots of options still there they would like and they need to add as many dart throws to add youth to the roster as possible

Bets going alright - should break even at least!

Thought the 49ers had a poor night. Packers have just created the offseason storyline that will carry us through the summer!

Wonder how long John Schneider in Seattle is going to be able to coast by on his early drafts. It's like they go out of their way to pick someone nobody else was thinking about in the first round, and it's been a while since they actually hit on one.

Just looked back at their 1st rounders...and yikes I thought the Pats recent ones were bad! Shocked

With the draft over, 49ers getting Trent Williams for a 5th and a 3rd next year could be a great bit of business. Packers drafting everthing on offense except a WR is going to keep every sports talk programme going until actual sports come back.
Pats and Seahawks did their usual bizarro drafts that don't really make sense, but they'll win enough games that nobody will call them out on it too much (could turn on NE, but even if the Pats stink this year it'll probably be seen as part of a big Belichick plan).
Like what the Vikings did, but hard to get too excited when the team is still built around Cousins.

Overall, I'm no longer very up to speed on the draft and the prospects outside of the very top guys, but looking at it purely from a "what position did you draft" perspective, I hated the first two days of Green Bay's draft...

Agree GSC - last time we saw Cam the dude could barely throw beyond 10 yards downfield and he’s consistently broken down for the past three years.

He’ll compete in camp with Stidham, and whoever wins the job wins the job. Even if he does, based on recent history he’ll be broken by week 4 and Stidham will be playing anyways

Not sure you want a perennially injured guy like Cam as your insurance policy. Think the Pats are making a cheap wager with a high return if he is still Cam, and Stidham is insurance on him rather than the other way round.

If he’s anywhere near fit, he is the starter.
