Despite the scoreline, Fed's needs Djoko to get frustrated and lose focus at some point, like in Paris. Because he's not going to keep this up.

Novak with it all to do. He can do it. Needs to be more decisive with that FH. Got to find those lines.

Federer looking very solid so far but Novak not playing the smartest of matches I've seen but I am not ruling him out yet.

Roger is playing well SA, I give the man credit, not giving up a lot cheap errors and serving brilliantly, also he is torturing novak with the slice backhand something Novak doesn't like very much.

Nole seems to go through physical "walls" in matches sometimes, its like his metablism slows down, then finds a new way to get fuel.

Sometimes Rog takes the ball a little too early...like the last shot where he was broke, he doesnt need to take it that early at times, its almost like he panics and doesnt think he has as much time as he does.

Still...here's 3 BPs....

I got to say, this is brilliant stuff from Fed, playing so well, didn't think I'd see him play like this again! He's really raised his game to beat Djokovic! He might not but so far.....

??? Novak seemed to run out of gas there...his exclamation on each shot sounded more laboured. He's definitely physically feeling it. The question is whether he can find any reserves from anywhere...not sure he can today when Rog is in this form.

It's pretty unfir actually cause teh DHBH is so much more solid and powerful that when the rallies goes over 3 or 4 shots BH to BH, Fed is just at a disadvantage but he is so talented that he can still hold his own.

I don't see it as Novak being tired, most everyone else on tour he would win that first set and probably be in control of the match right now. Roger is just playing really well, no foginni, no fatigue. Just too much of the old Rog

Federer takes the second set and I can't see Novak coming back from that. Roger Federer has played an excellent game but Novak is perhaps guilty of sitting back too deep.

Rog simply looks too solid today...he's all over Novak.

Novak could come back but to be honest, we're looking @ Fed reaching his 7th USO Final, what a brilliant achievement but the icing on the cake would be winning the whole thing!

Nah, wheel out the egg chamber for Murray, so he can beat Nadal. Otherwise Federer's celebrations will be short-lived.
