Sam Wants!

Sam Warburton wants his side to be "ruthless" against Italy on Saturday to warn France that Wales are "not messing around" in their 2012 Grand Slam bid.

All I want is for Sam to keep it shut and get on with playing rugby, hardly a day goes by without this young man wanting something!

Many Welsh fans wanted a win against France at the RWC SF but Sam booted that one into touch!

Keep your feet on the ground young man and keep it shut.

Dowlais - don't waste your breath, the green monster is alive and kicking and no amount of logic and reason will dissuade. Let them drown in their pool of biterness and you should be getting on with discussing proper rugby stuff with others - Life is too short and its great to be a welsh fan at the moment so enjoy it and stay away from the toxic fumes.

Do you think Wales will manage to be ruthless without the world's #1 open-side? who has vanquished all before him? including out matching Richie McCaw, Brusouw, Burger (bizarrely and apparent due to a misunderstanding about how SA flankers are numbered) Dusautoir and Pocock? will the current conveyor belt of Welsh world class world beaters churn out yet another best-in-class flanker to step seamlessly into his place? And on a side note, is Warburton getting the reputation of "captain absent"?

Going back to the topic...
Warburton is the Welsh Captain and will be interviewed, and anything he says will be used as a sound-bite. The daft questions asked are more to blame than the answers given. I mean, would you really expect him to say "we're just gonna have a laugh and hope we win" ?
All it seems to me he is saying is that he's not taking the upcoming games lightly (good for him) and they seriously want to win. Not exactly news, but as captain of the side most expect to win the 6N (with potentially a GS) he will be interviewed regularly and anything he says will be presented as "news".
I don't think he should be blamed for being asked daft questions...

On our day we can be as ruthless as anybody. Lets take the positives form that.
