If the occasional lawyers man can't do them then you might be able to. Not just now though.

Ferrer is looking good. He'll get to the semis but get thrashed by itchy arse.

Hmmm, might have to change your injuries to Holt and Gerrard if you keep that up.

Too late now TSC. Plus I hate the fact that we as English parade Murray as British. He isn't, he is Scottish and you can keep him.

Wozniacki is where it's at.

Can't see past Shazza for the title, unless Kvitova fancies it. Shazza will fancy her chances with the Williams brothers and Azarenka out.

Straight Edge United 0-1 Sporting Sideburns - Nilmar
Both very star studded sides, feel the Sideburns' more in-depth tactics gave them the edge in a tight game.

Go Ahead Eagles 3-2 City of Norwich - Higuain, Dembele, Ruiz; Drogba, Pato
Both sides with very strong attacking players, makes for a very good game. I feel the extra man in midfield for GAE with no real holding midfielder in the CoN side was enough to get them the win.

Jacamos United 1-1 FC Furious - Lewandowski; Negredo
The Man U familiarity helps FC Furious here, with a strong front two. Jacamos full backs very good but I feel Young and Valencia really gave them a good run, and I feel FC Furious earned a draw.

Athletic Bilbao Baggins 1-1 Trebles Revenge - Cazorla; Hazard
Very strong midfield for both teams means despite the attacking flair players on show, it remains a tight game. A draw the fair result.

------------

Straight Edge United 0-2 Sporting Sideburns
------------------------ Nilmar, Podolski

It seems most of SEU's midfield are so worried about what the other team are going to do that they get caught between attack and defense, and never really get going. Hernandez really struggles up front on his own against SS's CB's. Comfortable win.

Go Ahead Eagles 1-1 City of Norwich
Higuain --------------Drogba

I would have liked to see Nasri supporting Drogba and Pato more, but the 4-4-2 formation doesn't really allow that to happen. Eagles controls most of the play but Silva is very strong in defense. Higuain gets on the score sheet from range, but Drogba gets a late goal with a change of formation that suits Norwich better.

Jacamos United 1-1 FC Furious
Lewandowski--------Negredo

The width of Furious, against the commanding central midfield of Jacamos. A very entertaining game and a draw is a fair result on paper.

Athletic Bilbao Baggins 1-0 Trebles Revenge
Cazorla

I feel that De Jong and Toure completly take Hazard out of the game, which restricts Treble's attacking options. Treble's team, with Hazard in a free role looks very narrow and Cazorla takes advantage of this. Treble's team tries to play box to box, but they are outclassed with Baggins CDM partnership.

-------------

Athletico Bilbao Baggins 2-1 Treble's Revenge
Gotze, Cazorla; Matri
Treble are a little narrow and their fullbacks present a weakness against the very talented wingers of Baggins. There is no out and out midfielder bruiser like De Jong and so I can see Toure and NDJ overpowering the centre midfield trio. Trebs side is well thought out, I just don't think it works against Baggins who are a match for them in every area.

Straight Edge United 0-3 Sporting Sideburns
Podolski, Nilmar (2)
Good coherent tactics from SS, playing to their strengths. SEU need to be more descriptive with their defensive instruction because it read like chaos. They have a talented midfield but need to work ways of getting Hernandez more involved and he seems isolated in this system.

Go Ahead Eagles 2-0 City of Norwich FC
Dembele, Higuain
With a 4-4-2 and no clear DM CON find themselves overpowered by the Eagles who will be able to make the numbers count. Solid defence means that it isn't a larger scoreline, but I can't see enough menace in the CON tactics even though they have the firepower in the side.

Jacamos United 1-1 FC Furious
Sigurdsson; Klose
Seems a classic stalemate to me, both sides respectful of wingers and ultimately I see a draw in a fairly cagey but interesting game.

------------

Straight Edge United 0 vs 2 Sporting Sideburns
Scorers: Nilmar x 2
Feedback: Despite Bull wisely trying to nullify Xavi, he still loses this game as it is in fact Wilshire who causes the damage with two through balls for Nilmar to score. Straight Edge struggle to make an impression on the Sideburns defence, especially Hernandez who has a poor game.

Go Ahead Eaaaagles 2 vs 2 City of Norwich FC
Scorers: Higuain, Dembele
Drogba x 2
Feedback: Despite Eaaaaaagles dominating the middle of the park in sheer numbers they can never put City of Norwich out of the game due to their dominant front line. Drogba eats Luiz for breakfast and this is crucial in earning City of Norwich a draw.

Jacamos United 3 vs 0 FC Furious
Scorers: Lewandowski x2, Sigurdsson
Feedback: Jacamos are simply to strong in midfield for the opposition. They have the extra man who makes a difference and the opposition defence isn't strong enough with both full backs getting overrun and Jacamos easing to victory.

Athletico Bilbao Baggins 1 vs 0 Treble's Revenge
Scorers: Thiago
Feedback: Treble's tactic to dominate the midfield by matching Baggins with the amount of players works for the most part as they are able to isolate Cisse, but they are no goal threat on what is a dominating Baggins defence. Eventually Baggins break through and win by the solitary goal

----------------

Straight Edge United 1 - 2 Sporting Sideburns - Hernandez; Nilmar, Podolski
- Sideburns front 3 have too much for SEU's defence, despite a typical poachers effort from Hernandez.

Go Ahead Eaaagles 1 - 3 City of Norwich FC - Higuain; Drogba x3
- An even game with one defining factor - Drogba, who rolls the years back.

Jacamos United 3 - 0 FC Furious - Sigurdsson,Muniain,Lewandowski
- Jacamos front 4 are just too hot to handle for Furious

Bilbao Baggins 2 - 1 Trebles Revenge - Toure, Cisse; Cabaye
- Captain Yaya drives Baggins forward in this close game, Trebs Revenge let down by a lack of cutting edge up top!

I don't think people understand that they should read tactics.

No cutting edge upfront? Because Matri isn't a world class striker, no he's shocking.

No out and out bruiser in midfield? Vidal and Marchisio have done fine this season for Juve, they both know how to tackle and the idea is that the whole midfield works, not just one player trying to do everything.

My side is narrow? Yes, congratulations it is. That's to force them wide, and what then? All they can do is go for crosses, which my defense would dominate Thiago/Gotze/Cazorla/Cisse in the air.

I think people just saw Yaya Toure and predicted me to lose. People need to put a bit more thought in and Flip read the bloody tactics. Instead of just scanning the teams.

Matri is a top drawer striker, I used to have him the FFA and I'm a big fan.

All voters need to provide reasons by the way - some of you haven't and if it continues to be that way you'll lose voting bonuses. It's a pre-requisite for voting that you explain yourselves.

I just think it's a joke. I don't mind losing, if I deserve to lose. But on this occasion, there's no way in hell I deserved to lose.

And anyway, if I nullify an attack well, surely they wouldn't score and it'd be 0-0 if my strikers couldn't hit a barn door, as it were.

You nullified his attack for most of the game, but the fact that you couldn't get anything going on his defence for me meant that he dominated and eventually broke through for the 1-0 win.

Right, still think it's a complete and utter disgrace.

I thought we didn't have to give reasons, I did do it last season but couldn't be bothered this season. Will do them next league match.

What annoys me most in tactics is when people make thier play better then he is, adding new qbilitys to them.

Lawyers are ready for the Championship - just waiting on someone to do the top league ones and they can be posted up.

Yes reasons must be given so we can understand why you voted how you did and hopefully remove doubt that people haven't read tactics.
