its a personal preference, of someone whom I think plays a brilliant game and causes all sorts of problems to his opposition. Has won the big one and continues in teh ilk of players like Servat and Smit to play to the best of his abillities and push all those around him to do so as well.

fluxy wins the prize - alot of you will disagree but I think he's been one of the best hookers out there for a long time, maybe not top5 now but the is still world class

yeah hes trouble when he somes onto t pitch, he boosts the loose forwards and really gets them pumping

Why did you lose Ashton, dear oh dear, the only top 5 player you have! Nothing in foreigns comes close.

I turned that offer down when I was caretaker, didn't see the benefit, could have just saved up for a LH like crockett or coonie or mcintosh or VDL and team would have been better off

Ashton I don't know mate I like him, but I feel Ford and Corbs give me something and 15 million, there aren't players in the calibre of Beale, Guildford, McCalman etc... very good players but not quite McCaw, Carter, Smith player standard.

Masaga, Tagicakibau, Horne, Howlett, Olivier, King, O'Gara, Peel, Easter, Higginbotham, Rush, Tialata, Perugini kind of players are still about though they ain't half bad in my view, and we will have to start buying those players sooner or later.

I would go for Read, just been outstanding all season yet again.

I wouldn't have Parrise on par with about two other players either, I rate Heaslip and Hari higher than the Italian.

you rate rees that highly and no lee mears in there at rees' level? I would put Thompson above that third tier or at least in it?

I love mearsy, great bloke and very good player. Feel sorry for him, as that Lions tour ruined his reputation. Beast got away with murder at scrum time.

It was only a rough guide off the top of my head, but wanted to give you an idea where Hartley and Hore where in the scheme of things. maybe that third '-' could be taken away, not a big gap really between that lot i guess in hindsight.

Personally, I like Rees, only sold him recently, but got BDP in exchange! Yeah!
