An ordinary heavyweight who had lost four of his last five. When he is your savior you know you’re up the creek.

I'd say he's better known to the masses than Burns or Cleverly.

Possibly the most ineffective and pointless ban of all time. Its sole result was to highlight how little authority the BBBC had in the first place as well as establishing a blueprint of how to circumnavigate them in future.

The return of the 2nd best heavyweight in Britain. He'll leave Warren soon enough as Del knows that being on BoxNation will not do anything for his bank account.

The only interesting fight out there for Del boy is Price, So I suppose he's in the right place. Apart from that he may as well hang them up.

Chisora issued new licence
Does it really matter? It's not as if it prevented him from fighting.

Before the Thompson fight I wouldn't have given Chisora a cat in hells chance as he just doesn't seem to pack a punch, but it seems as though to hurt Price you don't even need to do that..

Re: Chisora issued new licence
Price was disappointing. I bought into the hype as well - he might be able to rebuild his career, but if that is what his punch resistance is like, I'd back Bonkers Dereck to do a number on him (and then proclaim himself ready for Wlad).
I don't rate Chisora much at all, but that's how much Price's stock has fallen in my eyes!

Some licked his knackers while others didn't give him the lickings of a dog. The more sensible posters refused to pass judgement until he'd faced a firm test.

Re: Chisora issued new licence
Chisora is the 2nd best HW in the UK (Haye being number 1). The reason Chisora is the number 2 is because of his experience. He has faced the best fighter and a ATG in Klitschko and faced one of the best HW's in the last 10 years in Haye. Yes he may have lost both fights but I would back him to beat any UK fighter excluding Haye.
Chisora in my view would beat Fury in a rematch and beat Price if they fought.

Chisora v Audley.
The battle of London Town.
If that fight can't sell nothing will. Chisora is a shot in the arm for a down on his luck Warren. Dell-boy the man that threatened to burn Haye can put bums on seats. He's Euro level if he gets his act together.

I still find it staggering that such a nothing looking punch can spark a guy the size of Price.

In all fairness if you look at it I would say he is. Apart from the Klitschkos who since 2003 would you say is better than Haye?

Eddie Chambers
Ruslan Chagaev
Tomas Adamek
Crisobal Arreola
Povetkin
I'm not saying that they'd all beat Haye, but they're proper heavyweights who have decent(ish) records at the weight in comparison. Look at Hayes record, Ruiz, Harrison, Chisora, Valuev - then look at the others.
Can't just look at ability - have to look at achievements. He was WBA champion for a bit. Then he was shown up to be urine poor in comparison to Wladimir.

Everyone who has faced Wlad in the last 5/6 years has been shown to look like urine. I think Haye is a better boxer than the ones you mentioned. haye was world champ for 2 years whilst 4 of the boxers you mentioned were not.
Record wise they are roughly the same. Povetkin probably has the best record. But skill wise i would say haye was def up there and he has won every HW fight by KO (excluding Valuev). but as I said in the post I believe Haye to be ONE of the best HWs of the past 10 years.

And he fought Ruiz and Harrison as his defences in that time. That is not really setting the world on fire is it!!
