Brook set to Shine in April

Kell Brooks sensational run as the future of British Boxing is set to continue as he entertains us in yet another World Level Bout on the undercard of boxing god Tony Bellew.

Kell has been touted as the next best thing, and after having crushed p4p legend and Hatton conqueror Senchenko, many expected him to match up with Porter/Alexander for the World Title.....

Lined up instead are fighters under the banner of TBC and TBA.

Who knows how far Kell will go, but when he defeats yet to be named opponent in April, be sure to see Kells stock rise as he climbs the elusive p4p ranking system with his fantastic and unblemished record filled with wonderful fighters.

Here is to 2014 being a corker for Kell, starting in April with his huge bill on the undercard of a poor LHW/Cruiser.

Is he headlining the undercard?

If he is playing second fiddle to Tony Bellew then they are probably lining up a stiff. They must be running out of them for Brook now. Pretty soon he wont have a choice other than to fight a top ranked challenger. There wont be anyone else left.

Porter is going to rematch Alexander, after which the winner can have a voluntary defence, so 'Special' Kell Brook might be waiting until 2015 for his title shot.

Given up on Brook. Sure he's had some bad luck but he's been in 2nd gear for years now and ruining his peak time.

If he doesn't step up this year he never will.

No time for bellow either. Won't be watching.

If a stiff is being lined up maybe it's Khan brook hits him once easy night haha

Although There is no reason to day Brook wouldn't beat Khan, Brook has fought no one of note at his whole career at world level so should stop talking.

I want him to win a title like all Brits but I think the injuries are only part of the problem and think he lacks the will at top level and is happy being a big fish in a small UK pond.

Brook's fight after this oen is a mandatory shot at the IBF. That is a fact. He's waiting for his mandatory shot for no options and a title. Will be fighting for a world title mid 2014.

I didn't see Ringside last week but was reading chat that it was put to Brook on the show that he might fight Thurman next.  Apparently the blood draining from Brooks face was quite funny.  A brown stains on the trousers moment.

I seen that too on ringside. Kell was lost for words when Richard mentioned Thurman. He literally struggled to "thpit" a sentence out. Think he knows that Porter gets duffed by Thurman and it would be a very very long night for Kell if he's in against Keith.

It would be great to see Thurman win the belt also because the IBF route at welter seems to be viewed by Hearn as the easy route and if Thurman gets his hands on it then it may just be as difficult as the other paths.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Brook move to Light Middle if it happens

So bored of Brook now.......

I genuinely stopped caring about Brook after he had his first fight against Carson Jones. He is supposed to be amazing and special.

All we have seen is a a couple of half decent performances, a lot of pull-outs for IBF titles and an awful lot of hype. Yes I would like him to do well as a fellow Brit. But do I care if he fights "TBA"? No.

Hearn should really just get Brook a decent fight at this stage. Sticking him on another undercard against a stiff is pointless. They have spent years arseing around trying to get this world title shot probably so they can win, come back to Sheffield and begin fighting more stiffs under the guise of a "world champion".

Anyway, Brook is stuck in the middle of a damn good WW division and is perhaps the very definition of a high risk/low reward fighter. He offers the top guys nothing in the way of titles but can upset their plans for a whacking great pay day against the belt holders. Eddie can't sell him in America to drum up interest and, in fairness to Brook, injury to him and Alexander has scuppered his chances of already having a title but there really must come a time when people lose all patience with him.

's a matter of opinion. Especially when you've been quite open about your past infidelity (er...thanks for sharing...weirdo) therefore it isn't too much of a stretch to imagine you'd be the one carrying on whilst you wife suffers (albeit not in silence).
