The Ireland Rugby Football Union (IRFU) has finally thrown its support behind the development of a men's Ireland sevens team.
TheScore.ie reported that the IRFU are aiming for the 2020 Olympic Games in Japan as their long term goal.

are we sure there will be 7s at the 2020 olympics? thought that was subject to the Rio trials to be a success while CIO said they would like to see the best rugby players at the olympics for that to happen...
