New year, New logo:



Thoughts?

It looks cool. Although for some reason I immediately thought of The Avengers.

I personally dont like it.

Not sure why - maybe the font is wrong or too small. Just cant quite place it.

To be honest, I think its because it looks like something I could knock up on Powerpoint!

That was my initial reaction Adam,its like a 15 year old has gone overboard on WordArt to cover the tracks of a poopie essay.

So is the promotion going to be called Impact Wrestling or TNA?

It's ok, totally forgettable but inoffensive. I wonder how many thousands of dollars they spent on experts, in lieu of studying the formulas that have worked (and which have failed) in the history of the wrestling industry.

It's been called impact for the last few years.

So the promotion is still going to be called TNA? Because I know they tried to rebrand for a while

I like the fact they have included the 6 sided ring in the logo - it reminds me of the UFC who promote their octagon as a unique selling point. It also means the 6 sided ring is definitely here to stay. A new network and a new era for TNA needed a revamped image, so I'm happy to see TNA moving forward.

Only the font let's down that logo tbh... The six sided ring is a nice touch. Yeah the iMPACT Wrestling branding has always been something that has bugged me since they started doing it a couple of years ago. Casual / Older fans will always associate the company as TNA instead of iMPACT Wrestling, it's like WWE changing it's name to Smackdown! Wrestling, it just doesn't have the same marketing modelling behind it.

The sharpness of the font is alright imo, it emphasizes the impact in impact wrestling and creates connotations in my mind of severity, which could be linked to the `action` TNA promise from their product. The colour is a little disappointing, I loved the old spike blue coloration but this blue is darker and doesn`t stand out as much on the black background. As Crippledart said it`s inoffensive enough.

However, as Star Wars decided to go with such a generic name in The Force Awakens and the brand new trailer is full of generic Star Wars scenes that don`t show much of how this movie will be different to its predecessors, I think TNA with their limited budget have done a great job in comparison!

Not bad.

If it had been me, I'd have made the I and T a little longer than the other letters (kinda like Metallica's logo) and put the "wrestling" bit in between them, inside the blue line.

As others have said I do like the fact they included the hexagon - adds a bit of distinctiveness.

Will definitely have to remember to stop calling it TNA now...
