I don't agree, where Rafa is with his game at the moment, the slower court helps. Though I don't think he is still anywhere ne his best there are definite improvements here.

For Rafa, his bh looks a lot better, thats important for the whole year, not just this RG. Kokkinakis has won 8-6

I agree a little way to go.. but I think Roger was right when he said that RG courts suit Rafa .. if he is to find his form it has to be here.. the conditions are right..now he needs the confidence

27 seconds I timed. Is was at 0-30.

Plus Sousa got a net chord in the game

0-30, Murray waited for the wind and got a tv juts as he was about to go up to serve. Jim tore into Pascal for it.

its the inconsistency of Umpiring im knocking not the individual player who will push their luck given the opportunity to do so.

I know matchups are different for every player but Murray in trouble against Sousa, Kyrgios hits a lot bigger.
On clay of all surfaces I feel Murray is there for the taking, courtesy of a big hitter (ala almagro 08, gonzo 09 & Berdych '10).

It may be inconsistent umpiring, but if Murray looks at other matches and then thinks he can get away it, then he's daft. He simply needs to keep within the time, then he wouldn't get the tv in the first place. It's hard being a Murray fan - he just does so many things that seem preventable with a more sensible head.
Still think he'll battle through and win this match though.

Yeha I agree, If theyre gonna stick a 20 second limit on, DONT have a distracting replay running in the servers eyes for more than 20 seconds...

That's a pity because it obscures the important point.

Anyway, it's good for him that he's been pinged and it didn't cost him anything. He'll be better prepared for the next match.

He didn't object as such, just explained to Pascal that he wasn't going to serve with the replay running which I think is pretty fair. Pascal explained why he gave it and that was that. It's good that there was dialogue between the two and it was civil.
