FAI are a Disgrace

I suppose I should not be surprised at all. Doing the brave or right thing is an anathema to the FAI. They never stand up for their own whether it is a player or fans. And now they have let down the whole nation in some grubby deal done behind closed doors. The English FA put forward a proposal to delay the election so that other candidates for FIFA president could come forward. The prosposal has been resoundly defeated with the FAI weighing in behind their new friend Sepp Blatter. This is the same Mr Blatter who pi**ed and laughed on the FAI before the last world cup. He probably promised them a CL final in the next ten to twenty years. The FAI are easily impressed. We really are a spineless/corrupt little nation.

Can't argue with any of that. It's gone beyond a joke now I seriously thought to myself there's no way any of the countrys will agree to have that election but it's happened and the world of wendyball is stuck with that idiot for four more year's.

Couldn't agree more aka. Especially after what happened during the last WC qualifiers the FAI should've used this opportunity to do the right thing and stick the boot in. The game sold it's soul long ago, the only thing that'd get other FA's against sepp fatter is if they were disadvantaged by the goings on the same way England were, Ireland should've backed the FA. Spineless decision not to do so.

Ar aghaidh le cheile is right, I think only Scotland backed the FA's move. Well, at least they did something right for a change.

Even though I think he is overated,Robbie could be out for Saturday.Not good.

That is a real shame, espicially since I think Jim Boyce is one of the good guys.....
