Erken Teper Situation more serious

So it was reported earlier that Erken Teper had failed a drugs test after his fight with David Price. It seems the situation is more serious than first thought.

According to Boxing Scene, Teper has form and that a previous failed test was covered up.

If this is true then this will confirm the fears of a lot of boxing fans. Boxing is a sport where money talks and can reach all places within the sport. Anyone involved in this should be immediately suspended and I hope the David Price result is changed to a No Contest.

If you juice and get caught then bad luck.  I'm confused as t why fans consider it clean?

The punishments for juicing are some of the worst in professional sport. Enough said.

If there is a cover up then it's a life ban for all involved

Drug tests 72 hours before a fight should be mandatory, results published the day of the fight with a guilty party forefeiting their entire fight purse to be paid to their oppo.

It's rife in all sports, just has more serious consequences in combat sports.

People have had their head in the sands for decades as they don't want to believe their favourite sportsman cheated.

True but he can get this loss overturned so might be a way back in the scene for him. His handlers will have to get him back in after putting him in with a drug cheat in the first place.

Tyson Fury reckons all of Price's defeats should be reversed because he lost to guys riding bicycle. Think it's fair enough but I suspect that the damage is already done

Well we have seen the effect they can have, Olubamiwo is nothing more than a Journey man now, where as before he was a prospect flattening everyone with one punch

David Price is undefeated in that case, hopefully mentally that will give him the boost he needs.

And what about Marty Rogans' loss to Teper? Has anyone spared a thought for Marty? Can this be overturned?

With Helenius no longer having to defend against Teper, does that mean Joshua can jump in as a voluntary for the PPV in April?

Price must be feeling rock bottom right now. 2 of his 3 defeats are against fighters who were knowingly cheating. Now can he harness that anger and take to the ring again?

He will most probably get pancaked again but I hope for his sake he gets a bit of confidence back.

This wont give him a new confidence but he will ask himself ''what if''.

He can use that to his advantage as he deserves another bite at the cherry.
