Care didn't block Laidlaw. The analysts covered that. He was standing in a normal position, didn't change and Laidlaw chose to play with him and missed Billy.

In a normal position which was in front of the ball = offside.

That's a good question. I was thinking the same thing. According to ESPN's stats, Farrell has 5 touches: 1 kick, 3 passes, 1 run (3 metres). Only one run by an Inside Centre in the first half. This is not good. Ford..............

If you want to see offside see the winger at the kick off of the 2nd half ...

Scotland are carrying from first phase far too much. Good defensive effort by England and justified penalty.

England have conceded a number of penalties for going in at the side now.

Another great decision by Lacey 

Stupid errors racking up from England.

Need to make Scotland work harder.

Two penalties in a row against the attacking side and both were pretty mundane. Poor refereeing, need to let the game flow if it is not clearly affecting the play.

Communication between vunipola and care has been awful

Lacey really isn't up to standard for club rugby let alone internationals ... pity the Pro12 teams having to put up with him all the time.

Finally a good kick from England, saw space and a good chase by Watson. Great clearance by Hogg though.

I would bring on B. Youngs now.

Well this game just confirms that Launchbury is overrated and Kruis is a quality player.

If that was offside then all you have to do at every scrum is run into the SH...

But he didn't move to block Laidlaw - Laidlaw just decided to grab him ... it was well covered in the half-time review - I guess they were all wrong too?

Scotland just don't seem to have the control over their own game that they showed vs Australia in the quarterfinals

Awful feeding of the scrum by Youngs, right in front of the ref and nothing. Ends with a dubious penalty for a retreating England scrum.

Unlucky for the scots there

at last Farrell gets it. His 2 misses were tough though.

We're really making this training game look like a full international.
