There are also quite a few teams who are above the 25 player squad limit. This is either because your team pages are not up to date or you have too many players.

Please can everyone get down to within the limit, and update your team page, by the time you submit your tactics, and by close of Thursday at the latest.

Anyone who remains over the limit at this point will get an extra injury drawn next week

Currently my squad is worth 3.5m less than Olly's.
My squad is worth £141k per player on average. Now if I was to accept every lawyer I received plus weekly bonuses I’d be upgrading to a squad worth 305k per player after 12 weeks (141 + 14 + 300/2) (and that’s if I get lucky on my lawyer offers as I also have a number of 0 value players) After 24 weeks my squad player value on average would be up to 485k per player, after 36 weeks (with cup weeks the season will go on at least this) then it's 683k per player with a total squad value of 17.1m
MK Dons start at 305k per player on average. After 12 weeks they’ll be on 485k per player, after 24 weeks they’re up to 683k per player. After 36 weeks this goes to 901k per player and a total squad value of 22.5m, 5.4m more than mine. So over the course of the season Olly gains an additional 1.9m over my squad.

The point here is that Olly's squad is the anomaly rather than yours though. How does yours compare to Newport, for example?

Yeah i sent it to get repaired it's not really repaired it's the slowest thing in human history currently but usable kind of. I may need a temporary assistant manager to help me out Laugh

Also, I think the free agents price is too high and would ease a lot of the squad building if lower. It only really impacts the smaller clubs who can't raise money.

My best XI's ratings are a bit mad with the 70 limit.
