On the prop front - Cole's on for 80 here, not Mako. You can't keep Marler on the bench just in case. Marler will replace Mako whenever he replaces him, Mako will have a break, and if Cole is finished around 60-70, Marler will shift across and Mako comes back on slightly refreshed. England might be hoping for a minor injury at some point later in the game though to Cole...

Ouch, penalty. England overplaying.

Set piece is clearly advantage SA so far. This is going to be close, as expected.

Hard to know what Eddies game plan is, everything they’ve tries is error ridden. Boks need scoreboard pressure, missing that early kick is costing them now.

Pressure = points. Good period for England. SA defence solid in contact but stretched and disorganised.

Breakdown turnovers could be the difference in this game - something that hasn't really been that important so far this tournament.

Another head knock as well by the looks of things.

This scrum interpretation could decide the final, which would be a shame and no doubt cause a lot of controversy!

England only have themselves to blame though - don't drop a restart and you don't have to scrum.

Irish fans might be able to shed some more light on this, but SA's attitude to the breakdown reminds me a LOT of Schmidt's attitude. Latched on supporting runners in to contact who then become the ruck defence. Just kind of grinding it forward in pods.

Hadn't really put the two together but with Erasmus's links to Munster and an Irish coach deep within the set up, I definitely think SA have taken elements of Ireland's gameplan and a putting it good effect so far.

Set piece looking ominous for England. They need to keep the ball live and in play.

Nothing going to plan with England unable to execute much due to all those errors. Their rhythm is way out at the moment.
They somehow need to collect themselves and try and regain some control.

England don't look rattled though, I'll give them that. No sign of panic. They still look confident and assured - confident they're the better team. That's a positive, because in the backs/when they keep hold of the ball, they are.

Rugby can be a simple game at times - England finally bring line speed and intensity on defence and SA make a mistake.
