*The commentators welcome to the show and the crowd are already in a manic frenzy. We get a recap on the crazy scenes that ended last week's show as Genesis dominated Max Adamson. We are told that Max isn't expected to be here tonight at "Proving Grounds" but also that Alex Walker has made an unexpected decision which has banned any member of Genesis, bar Kent & Rex, from being involved in tonight's main event. He has gone on record to say he will fire any member of Genesis who breaks this ruling. RJ & JT debate on this revelation and how Eddy Kent will respond to that, given his past with Walker and the mere fact that Walker was the creator of Genesis in the first place. Has Alex Walker turned away from Genesis?

*Geoff Steel is interviewed ahead of our opening bout. Steel is in confident mood and is making it clear that his main focus right now is the upcoming "Gateway of Glory" and winning that match. Steel reminisces on a stellar career but he has never main evented at Night of Glory and as a 6CW Original it is a dream. Steel says tonight he has a chance to improve his chances of winning the GTG but he is adamant that whether he is #1 or #30 he will be victorious. Daniel Reilly walks into shot with the European Championship over his shoulder. Reilly mocks Steel and says he has no chance of being #30 because Reilly already has it sewn up. And if anyone is going to headline Night of Glory then it will be him. Steel looks Reilly up and down, not biting, and then he pats the European Championship belt and tells Reilly "I haven't forgotten" before walking away.

*The scene changes and Jerome Dubois is embroiled in a war of words with Mike Hill. It seems the issues between the two veterans is not ceasing. Dubois tries to steal a punch but Hill sidesteps and he trips Dubois up. Hill smirks as Dubois stares up at him from the floor. The commentators are expecting some serious hostilities to be renewed tonight during our opening bout. Can one of these men push themselves to the forefront of challengers for Night of Glory?

*Eddy Kent visits Alex Walker. Kent is confused at Walker's decision to ban Genesis from ringside tonight. Clarke James is lounging on the sofa in the corner, his dark eyes just locked on Kent. Kent wants answers because Walker has always been an ally of Genesis and now he seems anything but. Walker tries to calm the situation and says he knows Kent is phenomenal (he handpicked him remember) and he doesn't think he needs any help in beating two men he has already defeated here tonight. Kent seems slightly appeased by the buttering up but he casts a look at CJ and it is clear there is tension. Walker wants Kent to know that "Genesis will always be a part of me but Exodus is a personal mission that I must complete". Kent tells Walker that he and Genesis would have had his back if he had only asked and warns Walker that "this savage (pointing at CJ) won't have your back when the going gets tough, remember I told you". Kent leaves now as Walker turns to CJ. "The winds of change are upon us". CJ merely nods as he holds the railroad spike in his hands and twirls it between his fingers.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23) Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23)

Bout 1
Fight for #30
Geoff Steel vs James McManus vs Jerome Dubois vs Mike Hill

*The crowd are raucous for the opening bout of the evening as we get a graphic that shows us that Clarke James & Daniel Reilly have already qualified for the “Fight for #30” Finale next week. Jerome Dubois is first to the ring and greeted with a plethora of boos from the audience. James McManus is then escorted to ringside by his wife and The Fanatic, the commentators making mention of how the whole of PK being out here could put McManus in the driving seat.

*Mike Hill is next out. JT reminds us of the ongoing issues with Jerome Dubois while remarking on Hill’s noticeable dip in form as of late, RJ agrees but believes Hill is a real contender for the “Gateway to Glory”. Geoff Steel is the final participant and the fans are on their feet for his arrival. JT believes Steel is recapturing the kind of form that saw him a major player in 6CW and that tonight he could move one step closer to his career ambition of main eventing Night of Glory.

*Plenty of talk between all four men before the bell sounds to get the contest underway. Hill bursts out the traps and dives into a dropkick to Dubois’ chest that smashes him back into the corner. Fanatic feints to climb onto the apron which distracts Steel and allows McManus to clatter into him from behind. McManus lands brutal forearm shots to Steel’s neck and drags him into a half nelson suplex which gains him a two count. Hill lashes martial arts kicks into Dubois’ body (ala Daniel Bryan) and then he circles and runs back in for another dropkick but Dubois throws himself aside. Hill’s legs go either side of the turnbuckle and he crashes into the ringpost with devastating effect before dropping to the outside.

*McManus looks for the “knee trembler” but Steel catches his leg and then swipes the other. He attempts to synch in the “Steelworks” but Jerome Dubois clotheslines him from behind. Dubois drags Steel back up and looks to flip him into the “Culture Shock” but Steel drops behind and then nails a pumphandle slam for a nearfall. Steel beckons Dubois up and sets for the “Bladecutter” but Dubois swipes his legs and catapults him. McManus is up and he catches Steel on his shoulders and transitions into a Death Valley Driver but Dubois turns to break it up before a three.

*Dubois and McManus square off now and there is some shoving. Dubois slaps McManus in the face and rips at his chest with harsh chops. He looks for an irish whip but McManus turns inside and lands a thunderous knee to the gut. McManus hooks the arms now for the “River Wensum Plunge” but Dubois counters with a backdrop. Dubois staggers to the corner and sets for the “French Connection” spear. Jenny McManus distracts the ref as Fanatic climbs in and drills Dubois with a chokebomb. McManus makes the cover but Steel drags him from the ring and slams him into the steel steps.

*Steel scales the ropes now and nails a flying headbutt on Dubois. The three looks a certainty until Mike Hill flies from the turnbuckle with a “Mike Time” (450 Splash). Hill beckons Steel up and lands an inverted atomic drop and a spinning heel kick. He follows up with a lionsault but Steel kicks out on two. The former tag champions struggle back to their feet and Hill grabs Steel’s head for the “Over The Hill” but Steel flips him onto his shoulders and runs him into a powerslam for another two count.

*Fanatic aims to climb in the ring as Steel rushes over and begins to clatter him with right hands. McManus is back in and attacks Steel from behind. Fanatic gets Steel up on his shoulders now as McManus climbs high and lands the “Midnight Hour” (ala New Day). A three count is incoming but Steel somehow kicks out. Dubois tries to get back in the ring but Fanatic uppercuts him off the apron. Steel staggers back up and Fanatic gets him on his shoulders for the “Boot of doom” as McManus runs the ropes. Steel manages to drop behind and he shoves Fanatic into McManus and they collide. Steel then shows amazing strength to lift Fanatic on his shoulders and delivers an “AA” over the ropes to the outside. McManus stumbles up now and Steel readies for the “BladeCutter” but Mike Hill comes off the ropes with a missile dropkick takedown. Hill springs off the ropes and drills Steel with a tornado DDT and then heads for the ropes. He climbs high and then secures the “Next Big Move”. He staggers up to make the cover as Dubois rips through him with a spear. Three count seems academic but McManus turns and breaks it up.

*Dubois is angry as he drags McManus up and launches him through the ropes into the ringpost. He turns on Hill now and drags him up for the “Go Flasher” but Hill counters in midair with the “Hill-can-rana”. They get back up and Hill dodges a lariat before landing a crunching pele kick to the top of Dubois’ head. Hill lands with another lionsault but Dubois just manages to throw his shoulder off the mat. Hill grabs his foe’s legs for the “MHND” but Dubois kicks him away. Dubois is back up and storms forward but Hill spins around the turnbuckle and lands a kick over the top. Hill goes high and looks for a flying hurricanrana but Dubois catches him and snaps him into the “Garlic Bomb”. Dubois drags Hill back up and decimates him with the “Go Flasher”. He hooks both legs but Geoff Steel drags him from the ring by his legs, snapping his head off the hard floor, and then catapults the Frenchmen straight into the ringpost.

*McManus looks to pick the bones as he scurries in and covers Mike Hill but Steel gets back in time to break it up. McManus and Steel slug it out now and McManus rakes the eyes for an advantage. He runs the ropes and returns with a hard lariat to the back of Steel’s neck, dropping him to his knees, and then follows up with the “knee trembler”. Jenny McManus is adamant her husband has won but the referee assures that Steel kicked out just in time. McManus gets up and argues with the referee before he drags Steel up for the “River Wensum Plunge”. Steel rips McManus’ legs out from under him and turns him into the “Steelworks”.

*McManus is in the hold for almost a minute and a half before Jerome Dubois breaks it up. He drags Steel around and flips him for the “Culture Shock” but Mike Hill, barely able to get on his knees, lands a low blow on Dubois. Steel drops down and he fells Dubois with the “BladeCutter”. McManus staggers up and he drags Mike Hill into the “River Wensum Plunge”. McManus then tries to rush over and take out Steel but it is scouted as Steel pulls down the ropes and sends McManus flying over the top and onto Fanatic. Steel stumbles around and he covers Mike Hill for the three count.

*The crowd celebrate as the commentators commend Steel’s performance. JT and RJ debate on whether this is the man who will win the “Gateway to Glory”. Steel raises a hand in acknowledgement of the audience’s support before climbing from the ring. An angry and irate Jerome Dubois seems to be contemplating a further attack on the downed Mike Hill but opts to slither from the ring as both members of The Parasite Killers climb in. McManus is looking annoyed as Jenny McManus shrieks for action. The crowd boo furiously as Fanatic drags Hill off the mat and onto his shoulders as McManus nails the huge “Boot of doom” off the ropes. The commentators wonder what the future holds for PK with this new destructive side we have been seeing in recent weeks.

[i]
*Robin Reborn & Ojore arrive at the arena. Clarissa is on hand for a word. Are the Wolf Gang reunited? Reborn wants the whole of 6CWF to know that he is putting them on notice and the return of Ojore is the first step in his plan to dominate. Clarissa asks about the news that Reborn's contract is up for renewal and he is currently locked in talks with 6CWF. Reborn says this company would be foolish not to meet his demands because he is the biggest star in the business. But if they don't then he has a ton of offers from all around the world....heck maybe he'll turn up in the Royal Rumble later this month. Reborn says tonight he will confirm his place in the "Fight for #30" Finale and if Anthony Grace is stupid enough to turn up after last week's beating then tonight is the night when they finish the job that Grace started himself in that hotel room. He draws his finger across his throat as the crowd boo. He laughs it off and beckons for Ojore to follow him inside the building.

*Daniel Reilly is interviewed by Jack Reynolds in regards to tonight's open challenge. Reilly declares himself the greatest European Champion of all time and the most prestigious champion in 6CWF right now. He's fed up of beating sub par opposition (the whole roster is sub par in his eyes) so he's throwing open the door tonight to anyone who thinks they are man enough to stop him (spoiler there is nobody who can stop him). Reilly says he will be champion for as long as he wants to be. And next week he will secure #30, he will win the Gateway to Glory and he will headline Night of Glory. It's inevitable, it's pure fact.

*The Parasite Killers and Jenny McManus enter the backstage area after dismantling Mike Hill at ringside. James McManus snatches a mic from Tim Allen and says the whole of 6CWF better start watching over their shoulder because the disrespect of PK is over and they are taking control, by any means necessary. There is applause from off camera and they turn to see Alex Walker. He congratulates them on making "a splash" and tells them that he sees "a big future for The Parasite Killers". Walker heads off as PK and Jenny all look at one another in surprise.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23) Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23)

Bout 2
6CWF European Championship
Open Challenge
Daniel Reilly (c) vs ???

*Daniel Reilly is out with Oliver Keane and they are full of their usual bravado. The commentators remark on Reilly’s fantastic run as European Champion and the upturn in his fortunes since he joined forced with Keane once more. Reilly is calling for a mic now and he wants the fan to shut up and listen. Reilly makes it clear that he will be the European Champion for as long as he sees fit and bigs himself up as the “most prestigious champion on the roster”. Reilly makes it clear that next week he will win the “Fight for #30” and he will move on to win the “Gateway to Glory” before headlining Night of Glory. Reilly says he is such a remarkable champion that he is graciously offering anyone in the back the chance to come out and prove their worth. He knows nobody is capable of taking the belt from him but they can at least “Benefit from the rub of sharing the ring with greatness”.

*Reilly looks concerned as “CCClouds” suddenly echoes out and Edward Plague answers the open challenge. Plague lowers his hood and a smirk crosses his lips (the rest of his face covered by the “Plague” mask). He slowly makes his way to the ring and patrols the outside as Oliver Keane tries to restore Reilly’s confidence. The European Champion is eyeing Plague warily as he climbs up into the ring.

*Plague removes his robe and turns to drop it over the ropes. He turns back around as Reilly runs in and attempts to steal an RKO but Plague just catches him in midair and launches him back across the ring. Reilly clutches his spine as he stumbles up and Plague runs and launches into a flying crossbody block (ala Bray Wyatt) for a two count. Reilly staggers up and Plague unleashes a throat thrust before hooking him into a full nelson and snaps off a suplex. Oliver Keane looks concerned as Plague bounces off the ropes and returns with a back splash. He gets on all fours and grins as Reilly rolls out to take some advice from Oliver Keane.

*Plague just continues to kneel and stare as Reilly slowly climbs back into the ring. They circle for a lockup but then the champion lands a hard kick to the gut and follows up with a European uppercut. Plague sways and Reilly nails a standing dropkick but still the challenger remains upright. Reilly runs the ropes for momentum and Plague attempts another throat thrust but Reilly ducks it and then nails an inverted headlock backbreaker. He leaps up and lands a kneedrop to the head before he heads to the corner. Keane is full of gusto once more as Reilly lands a frogsplash but the challenger kicks out.

*Reilly circles and wants the RKO but Plague shoves him away to the corner. He chases in but Reilly lands solid feet to the face to stagger him back. Reilly runs out for a clothesline now but Plague uses his momentum to pop him up and leaves him to drop on his face. Reilly starts to stagger up as Plague runs the ropes and returns with a heavy boot to the head. He covers but the champion finds a way to kick out.

*Plague grabs Reilly by the head and tries to flip him for “Confession” (Border Toss) but Reilly drops out and lands a hard boot to the stomach before snapping off a DDT. He signals to Keane that he wants the European belt. Keane quickly grabs it and chucks it in. Reilly is clearly happy to take a DQ but Plague grabs him by the throat before he can use the weapon and then lifts him into a huge chokeslam. He covers but Reilly finds a way to throw his shoulder off the mat.

*Plague circles Reilly now and he sets for the “Purifier” (Omega Driver) but Reilly backflips out. Plague turns and rushes over but the champ drops and pulls down the ropes, sending Plague to the apron. Reilly quickly drags Plague back through the middle rope and lands a hangman’s DDT but Plague powers out, much to Reilly’s chagrin. Reilly looks for the title belt again but the referee kicks it from the ring. Reilly spits in anguish and then decides to grab Plague’s ankle to apply a submission.

*Plague yells in pain but after thirty seconds or so he is able to turn out on his back and kick away at Reilly’s head until he releases. Reilly comes running back in but Plague uses his momentum to lift him into a back suplex position before swinging him out into a gutbuster. Reilly stumbles up in the corner and Plague almost crushes him with a running splash. He stares at Reilly for a long moment and the tears off the adjacent ropes as Reilly staggers out. Plague looks for a clothesline “from hell” but Reilly dodges and nails the RKO out of nowhere. He manages to drape a hand on Plague’s chest but the challenger is able to find the ropes.

*Reilly looks to the referee and to Oliver Keane as doubts start to creep in his mind. He rolls over on his stomach now and stalks Plague as he begins to rise. Reilly makes his move for a second RKO but Plague grabs at his face and claws until Reilly releases. Plague bounces back off the ropes and returns with a huge clothesline, spinning Reilly inside out. He then drags him up into a suplex and turns him in midair before just throwing him across the canvass. Plague signals that the end is nigh. Oliver Keane climbs up on the apron and tries to sneak in behind but Plague suddenly spins and grabs him. Keane looks for a punch but Plague catches his fist and crushes it before he twirls Keane around and decimates him with the “Purifier” (Omega Driver).

*The referee moves over to check on Keane and remove him from the ring. Plague turns to set sights back on Reilly as Uryu Ishida springboards in and takes him down with a huge forearm smash. Plague staggers back up in the corner as Uryu lands a hat-trick of dropkicks. The referee turns back and immediately signals for the bell. Reilly rolls from the ring and immediately snatches up his European Championship, cradling it close to his chest as the commentators remark on him “dodging a bullet”.

*Uryu beckons Plague out and looks for a “Spanish Fly” but Plague elbows his way free. Plague kicks Uryu in the stomach and flips him for “Confession” (Border Toss) but Uryu swivels on the shoulders and counters with a poisonrana. Plague rolls over on his knees as Ishida crashes a buzzsaw kick against his temple. The crowd are going wild now as Uryu climbs from the ring and he returns with a stack of steel chairs. He drops five chairs onto Plague before leaping up top with one remaining chair. GazzyD is here and rushes down the ramp but pauses in the aisle as Uryu locks eyes with him. Ishida leaps into the air, tucking the chair under his feet, and he crashes down on Plague with a thunderous stomp that crushes the plethora of chairs into him. Uryu rolls back onto his feet and beckons for Gazzy to come and fight him. Gazzy shoulders the 6CW Championship and just continues to stare at his rival.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23) Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23)

Post by JJJohnson Sat 20 Jan 2024, 12:59 pm

The lights in the arena Dim as the ring announcer speaks..
"Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome... The new 6CWF.. Key to the Kingdom Champion.. BLUE DRAGON!!!"

There is a real mixed reaction from the crowd. They are both appalled by the things they've seen from Dragon and are impressed by them in equal measure. The cameras pan around and we see some fans cheering and clapping with Blue Dragon merch on and others Booing and calling him a monster for hurting people the way he does. The Tron lights up with flames as does the stage area as Blue Dragon steps through them. He's wearing Dark jeans and a black t-shirt, he nods at the crowd and he smirks to himself as he raises his arms and pyro shoots off into the air. Noticeably he has no championship belt with him as he nations to the crowd that they'll see why shortly..
He strolls down to the ring dealing quite well with the, recently split, reception. He slaps the hands of a few fans, and lunges at others who are shouting insults at him as he makes his way to the ring. He steps through the ropes and he asks for a mic..

BD: Yeah, yeah I know .. it's Blue Dragon!! The man with the Key, the one man who no one can really trust. Well I've got to say, there is one thing you can trust when it comes to me, and it's that I will always do what's right.... For me... You see last week I took a little break from all of you people. I needed to get my head together. Ok, Let me put it like this, before a pack of big cats go out to hunt, they gather and they rest, they calm their minds and they get themselves ready for the big hunt. Im no different, I rest, I gather my strength, I prepare for what's to come. Now that rest period it done. I'm awake and I'm on the prowl. And the Prey... Well.... That's not quite decided yet..

Blue Dragon paces the ring. A man can be heard shouting something from the crowd and Dragon glares at him, creating instant silence from the crowd

BD: Two weeks ago now I entered Hardcore Hell. A structure designed to end my career or if not, my life. My brother Logan designed that thing to punish me, it was the ultimate weapon against the Blue Dragon and in it's first two itterations it nearly did end me. First was against Logan himself, he near killed me, he defeated me in more than just a match, he defeated me in my own head and created a self doubt, doubt that I would never admit was there, even to myself... Next came Crime Lord. That egotistical c*nt, the really sad thing is, he was everything I wanted to be at one point in my life. Once again the combination of my own self doubt and the Hardcore Hell structure helped my opponent get the better of me. So fast farward to now, JJ and his boys knew all this. And they decided that, although I had proved myself undeniable since my return, they had to put everything in my way to stop me from gaining power in 6CWF, well boys I've got to thank you...

BD looks straight down the barrel of the camera as he speaks.

BD: Thank you for showing me just how dangerous I can be. Thank you for getting in my way and giving me the chance to mow down seven other men. I had so much fun at Born In Fire, it was like a re-awakening of sorts. From those ashes rises a different Blue Dragon... But that's not to say that I wasn't pushed, not by a long shot. There was monsters like Engel Harlequin, sick sons of bitches, Jerome Dubois and Mike Hill. Then you've got the younger generation, Robin Reborn, Anthony Grace and Liam Wood.. All great wrestlers and tough sons of b*tches. Grace can take one hell of a beating, his toughness rivals my own. Robin Reborn, mate, if you weren't such a self centred piece of sh*t, you'd be a star. Liam Wood, you hit like a son of a b*tch... And that leaves one more man .. the rising son.. Cody Walker... Knowing what we now know .. your dad was too busy planning his great takeover of 6CWF to even realise what he'd volunteered you for.. you could be great kid, you have a future in this industry. But for f*ck sake Cody, listen to your father. Alex walker is many things, he's a liar, he's a manipulator and he's a snake, but my god does he know how to see the bigger picture. And Cody, you've missed your chance to be part of that picture, when you realise that JJ and his mates aren't all that they're cracked up to be, if you still don't want to join up with your dad, we'll there's a place at my side for you if your willing to learn from a legend..

The crowd pop big at the idea of Blue Dragon with a young protégé..

BD: All this being said and for all the praise I've just given out I'll bring you back to my earlier point.. I will bring this back to me doing what's right by me... Just as they all tried to do what was right by them. They teamed up and they took me out of the match. They through me through fire and they thought I was in the rear view, but not for long. Because like the Dragon of Legend, I cannot be burned, I cannot be held back from what's rightfully mine. The only thing that the other men in that match did was they unlocked something inside me. They locked me out and I found the key to let myself back in. I burst through the flames like a phoenix rising from the ashes and I attacked. For the first time in a long time my potential was realised and I dominated every man in my way and I carved a path to the championship. A path that I now walk, a path with a choice. With a fork in the road, I can go down the Dark route and I can do evil things and make my life easier, I can attack from behind and I can sneak from the shadows to take what's mine.... Or I can take a light path. I can name a champion, I can state my case and with all of you at my back I can overcome the odds.... Or .. I can do things my way.... I can once again carve a path. Only this time, through 6CWF, through the biggest and the toughest, through the very best.. and I can show you all, both my fans and my doubters, that I am everything I say I am. That I am The Blue Dragon, and that I will have what's mine, one way or another...

The crowd cheer for him. More positively than he imagined and hes taken aback for a moment before looking around and then at his feet again.

BD: Since I won the Championship. Since I've had the Key to the Kingdom. I've looked long and hard at myself, at at the shape my future would hold. Not that I was once again a champion in this industry, and before I even had a chance to think about the future, the here and now hit me square on the face. I had my new found sense of desire tested when I came face to face with Alex Walker. Last week I spoke to him, the sick smile on his face as if we where together in this.. after he had betrayed JJ and took 6CWF for himself. While all the time I spoke to him, all I could think was... You took my vengeance away from me.. You eliminated JJ before I got to rub my win in his face.. but I have to be honest, seeing the look on JJs face, seeing the blood drain from that stupid f*cking face, that was kind of worth it. We spoke and you all saw what we had to say. What you didn't see though was the phonecall that followed. A phonecall where walker seemed to want me on side, where it became apparent to me that he wants to 'keep me sweet' and I have no issue with taking full advantage of that.. so all I asked of him was that he help me to show you all the shape, the form, that my future would take. You see the Key to the Kingdom Championship belt was someone else's old used opportunity, it was someone's leftovers. But this was my opeertunity and my Key to my Kingdom. And well... It needs to represent me...

He points upwards and the camera pans to the ceiling. From the rafters comes a chain, with hook on the end. And hanging on that hook is a black leather bag...
Blue Dragon smiles at the crowd who start to murmer and ruminate on what they surely know is inside..

BD: I took a long hard look at what that Championship was, the past. The men who came before and I can to an realisation... The things they done in the past mean nothing now. The championships they won mean nothing to me and to 6CWF. This is a new era, this is now My Era! And with that I want something to represent me. Something that will last forever, something sharp and dangerous, something that was the epitome of power, of a beast, of a legend. A symbol of my future reign.. I won't be locking the bones of Has Been's, Never Was's and Never Will Be's... I won't be picking at the scraps on 6CWF, I'll have my pick of the pack. I'll get into the real meat of this Company and I'll be sitting at the top table, with my feel up and this will be sitting right next to me ..

He reaches a hand up and the chain starts to lower towards him, the hook within his reach as the lights fade a spotlight is on him.
Blue Dragon takes the bag down from the hook and he puts a hand inside. He slowly pulls out a brand new Championship Belt...

The belt has a black leather strap. There are heavy gunmetal rivets holding the stap together, the side plates are adorned with both the 6CWF logo and the Amazon logo. There is sharp, almost blade like edge to them and they seem dangerous to even touch. In the centre lies a large silver and gunmetal plate. At the top are the words 'Key to the Kingdom' and beneath that we can see the globe. Although it appears to be burning as red and orange flames subtly come from it. Below that is a large and bulky set of wings and a dragon. Made from a shiny silver material. It's face snarling as it appears to soar over globe that it's just set alight. In its claws it holds an old fashioned key. This is an actual key, almost medieval in design, and is actually dangling from the claw swinging left and right as Blue Dragon holds up the Championship for all to see

BD: This is my Key!! This is the Key to the Kingdom Championship and this is the opportunity I've been speaking about!! I am the holder of this, and this is what all of the men backstage should be afraid of, because when they see this belt, when they see this price of absolute Art!! They will know in there for their heart... That I'm there to collect what's mine.. I'm there... to claim my Prey!!

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23) Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23)

Post by JJJohnson Sat 20 Jan 2024, 1:17 pm

*We get separate comments from both Liam Wood and Engel Harlequin on tonight's match, their feud and the future. Liam Wood makes it clear that he wants an end to all of this with Engel. He doesn't care how bloody or violent it has to get but the time for a conclusion is drawing nearer and nearer because eventually, at this rate, one of them is going to the morgue and Wood is adamant it won't be him. Wood says he has come a long way since 6CWF returned and he has exorcised some serious demons of his past but burying Engel Harlequin has now become a priority. Finishing this "sick fetish" that Harlequin has for him is the only way he can move forward with his career and once again etch his name in the history books by becoming world champion and headline Night of Glory. He says Engel will not deny him from that destiny and if he continues to try then he will pay the most dearest of prices.

Engel's face now takes over the screen and he grins. Because this ends when he says it ends. And Liam is right, the end is coming but he promises a few more twists and jump scares along the way. Engel says Wood has no idea what the endgame is but when it comes, the whole world will fall to its knees. Engel says Wood isn't the only one with aspiration and perhaps now, in 2024, is the time when the Harlequin Era and the "Circus of Horrors" truly takes over. Would you like to see Engel Harlequin headline Night of Glory? Maybe you don't have a choice heheehehehe.

*Anthony Grace is interviewed by Clarissa. Grace admits he was surprised last week by the return of Ojore and he has the bruises to prove it. But now he knows Reborn is desperate and whilst desperate men will do desperate things it also shows that he is concerned with Grace and knows who the real "A Lister" really is. Grace gives praise and thanks to the fans for all of their support and says he is still on the road to recovery but he is confident that he will get there. Starting here tonight by earning his shot at the #30 for the GTG. Grace says winning such a prestigious event and earning top billing at Night of Glory would, arguably, be the biggest achievement of his career. Grace says Reborn has enlisted the "Man of War" but the battles he has already fought make him a more formidable foe than they could ever dream of....if they don't believe him then just wait and see.

*Daniel Reilly storms into Alex Walker's office. Reilly isn't happy about Plague being his opponent but Walker merely laughs and says Reilly issued an "open challenge". "Who did you expect, Rasta?". Reilly says Walker should watch who is talking to. Clarke James' eyes are twinkling with malice but Reilly merely glares at him. Reilly says he is the greatest champion in 6CWF right now and deserves some respect. He says next week he will win the "Fight for #30" and go on to ensure he headlines Night of Glory, something Walker should get used to. Walker sits back in his chair and smirks before saying "I think Clarke may have something to say about that" which forces Reilly to laugh back. Reilly warns Walker about what happened the last time he tried to deny him (Genesis 2011) and how all of Walker's best laid plans crumbled around him. He advises Walker to treat him a little better unless he wants history to repeat itself and then he leaves. Clarke James suddenly drives the railroad spike into the desk, leaving it stuck. Walker looks at the spike and then at CJ...."That desk cost me a lot of money.....but yes, Reilly has that effect on most people....we may need to talk about this one".

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23) Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23)

Post by JJJohnson Sat 20 Jan 2024, 1:18 pm

Bout 3
Fight for #30
Anthony Grace vs Engel Harlequin vs Liam Wood vs Robin Reborn

*We return to ringside and the commentators have some major hype for us in regards to the upcoming match and the feuds encased within it. We get the graphic for the “Fight for #30” Finale next week which includes Clarke James, Daniel Reilly and Geoff Steel with one spot remaining. Robin Reborn is first out and he is accompanied by Ojore. We get a recap on Ojore’s return last week and the subsequent attack on Anthony Grace. We also get an indication that Reborn is locked in contract discussions with 6CWF and making big demands going forward.

*Liam Wood is next to arrive and he is still sporting war wounds from “Hardcore Hell” with Engel Harlequin. The commentators talk about previous issues between Wood and Reborn that may rear their head this evening (circa 2020 feud). Wood stares from Ojore to Reborn as he clambers up into the ring. Engel Harlequin then shuffles out on the stage, grinning despite being banged up. He slowly makes his way to ringside and rolls in, his complete focus on Liam Wood. Anthony Grace is the last to arrive and we await his entrance but he is not forthcoming. Reborn is smirking at this but then Grace comes through the audience. He leaps off the barricade behind Ojore and bulldogs the big man’s head onto the steel steps, leaving him slumped on the concrete floor. Grace then climbs in the ring as the official signals for the bell.

*Reborn quickly storms in and tries to catch Grace with a helluva kick but AG drops his shoulder and counters with a backdrop over the ropes. Reborn hangs on and attempts to “skin the cat” but Grace is ready and nails the “Blockbuster” (tornado roundhouse kick) which sends Reborn crashing to the outside. Engel remains sitting in the corner, staring at Wood, as Wood yells at him to stand up and fight. Engel slowly grasps at the ropes and pulls himself to a standing position as Wood tears forward and begins to unload with right hands. He whips Harlequin to the opposite corner and sprints over after him but Engel drives his knees up in Wood’s face. Grace takes advantage and rolls Wood up but there is a kickout on two.

*Engel rushes out and clotheslines Grace before he drags him up and chucks him from the ring. Wood is up and lands a discus elbow strike to Engel’s jaw before scooping him on his shoulders. Engel elbows his way off the back and he spins Wood around before nailing him with a double armed guillotine DDT. He covers but Wood just manages to kick out. Engel has a dark smile on his face as he pulls Wood back up and hooks his arms for the “Big Top” (Tiger Driver) but Wood battles free and swipes the legs. He catapults Engel to the corner, smashing his head, and then chokeslams him into a backbreaker as he comes back. Wood heads up top and lands a huge elbow to the heart. He covers but Reborn springs back in with a legdrop to the back of the neck.

*Reborn sidesteps the oncoming Wood and pushes him into the ropes before leaping up and catching with a hurricanrana on the comeback, sending Wood crashing into the corner. Reborn leaps in with a diving “Kamehameha” palm strike, dropping Wood into a seated position, and then circles the ring and returns with a low diving clothesline. Wood rolls on the canvass as Reborn clambers up top. He prepares for the “Flight of the Navigator” but Grace is back up and swipes his feet. Grace is up top now and delivers a superplex which slams Reborn down on top of Liam Wood. Wood rolls from the ring momentarily. Grace ushers Reborn up and lands with the “Thunderstruck” (Famea55er). He covers and three seems imminent but Ojore drags him from the ring and runs through him with a devastating headbutt to the chest.

*Engel is back up now and he has all eyes on Reborn. He circles him before dragging him in close for the “Self Fulfilling Prophecy” but Reborn elbows his way free. Reborn springs off the ropes and moonsaults onto Engel for a two count. Harlequin gets up and walks into a leaping heel kick. Reborn follows up with a moonsault footstomp before clambering out on the apron. He waits for Engel to rise and springboards back in for the “God’s Most Powerful Wrath” (Flying forearm) but this time Engel does catch him and snaps off the “Self-fulfilling prophecy”. The referee’s hand is just coming down for three when Grace returns to the ring and breaks it up.

*Engel is up and chases at Grace but he pulls down the ropes and sends Harlequin flying to the outside. Grace turns back on Reborn now and he wants the “Blockbuster” but Wood charges into him and takes him out with a spear. Wood drags him up and nails a huge “lungblower” for a nearfall. Wood ushers Grace up and runs the ropes for the “Psycho Crusher” but Grace moves out the way and bridges into German suplex for two. They both rise and land with right hands. Reborn then springboards in and lands a double forearm smash on both. He dropkicks Wood in the back, sending him out, and then he pulls Grace up into the “Wing Clipper”. He hooks both legs but Engel returns with a stiff shining wizard to the jaw to break the cover.

*Engel circles now for the “Self Fulfilling Prophecy” but Ojore clambers into the ring to protect Reborn. He crashes into Harlequin and pummels him but Engel pokes at his eyes and then kicks him between the legs. Ojore drops down on one knee as Wood returns and lands a huge “Psycho Crusher” (Foot stomp) on the big man. Wood and Engel glare at each other and then seem to come to an understanding that Ojore needs disposing of. They roll the big man from the ring and take turns to pummel him until he slumps across the announce desk. Anthony Grace is up now and he yells at both Engel and Wood to move aside. Grace clambers up on the ropes now and stuns the audience as he launches off the turnbuckle with a moonsault through the announce desk and crushes Ojore.

*Wood stares at the wreckage for a minute and Engel steals in with a hard kick to the gut. He runs Wood forward and launches him against the ringpost. Wood sways as Engel runs at him and swings him into a neckbreaker on the hard floor. Harlequin is looking savage now as he dismantles the steel steps. He picks up the top half and walks toward Wood, preparing to smash his skull. The referee jumps from the ring to try and reason with Engel. Harlequin scares the official off and readies for his sinister plan but Wood kicks upward and lands in the nether regions before rolling away as the steps narrowly miss from landing on him. Wood is incensed now as Engel’s plan as he drags up the cover, exposing the concrete, and he lands the “Manson Driver” on the solid floor.

*Engel’s blood is leaking on the floor as Wood kneels over him. Wood doesn’t seem at all interested in being finished. He grabs Harlequin’s wrist and begins to drag him up the aisleway and the ramp onto the stage. He pulls Engel upward and drapes him across the 6CWF announce desk on the left side of the stage. Wood then disappears backstage for a moment and he returns with a ladder. Wood begins to climb and is near the top when Miss Jessica hurries out from the back. She ascends the ladder behind Wood and lands a huge low blow (shocking everyone in the vicinity). Jessica is cackling now as a bloodstained Engel rolls off the table and shuffles toward the ladder. Engel and Jessica stare at one another (reigniting their long term history) before Harlequin begins to climb the ladder. He grabs Wood now as RJ and Jeff Thadeus vacate the table. The next thing that happens is devastating. Harlequin superplexes Wood off the ladder through the announce desk and the steel panel of the stage underneath them collapses under the impact as both men crash through the stage and are shown in an unconscious heap amidst the wreckage. EMTs are immediately called as Jessica watches on with glee. The commentators are stunned by what they have just witnessed. Engel and Jessica back on the same page spells bad news for 6CWF.

*Back at ringside and Reborn rolls out and grabs Grace (who is recovering from the moonsault through the table) and launches him in the ring. He ushers himself up on the apron and springboards in for the flying forearm but Grace moves out of the way. He bounces off the ropes and leaps into a “Superman punch” but Reborn kicks out. Grace sets for the “Thunderstruck” as Ojore returns from the wreckage. He charges but Grace moves and he lands a huge “Pounce” tackle on Reborn that crushes him into the ropes. Grace bundles Ojore to the outside and then grabs Reborn’s arm and twists him into the mahistrol cradle for a shock three count.

*Grace has a big grin on his face as he rolls from the ring before Ojore can return to attack. The crowd are cheering as Grace is confirmed as the final participant in the “Fight for #30 Finale” next week in Tokyo. Grace celebrates with the fans as Reborn kneels and stares in disbelief at what has happened. Ojore’s nostrils are flaring as he just glares at Grace. The commentators are hyping up what we have just watched as we get another recap on Liam Wood and Engel Harlequin (“When will the madness end”). JT gives us an update that once again they have been rushed to nearby medical facilities as RJ chimes in that Alex Walker and anyone involved in management need to be making a deliberate effort to end this nightmare rivalry for both parties, especially with the added poison of Miss Jessica involved.

*Anthony Grace continues to celebrate (“A new lease of life has been breathed into his career”) as Reborn makes it clear to Ojore that he is unhappy with the mishap. The commentators debate on how this will possibly impact Reborn’s contract negotiations with 6CWF.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23) Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23)

Post by JJJohnson Sat 20 Jan 2024, 1:37 pm

*Clarissa is on the rooftops with Uryu. Ishida says that Plague and Gazzy have forced his hand and earlier tonight was a message that the "Hollow Hero will not be easy to tame". Uryu says Gazzy has had too many chances to stop this madness but they are too far down the road now and he will have to fight fire with fire. Uryu knows he is the underdog, he knows he is outnumbered, but that will not prevent him from taking the fight to his enemies. No longer will he wait idly by to be attacked, he is going all out and he is targeting them instead.

Clarissa asks about next week and his re-match for the 6CW Championship, is Uryu healed up from Born in Fire and what impact will tonight's match with a mystery opponent have on his preparations? Uryu admits he is still banged up but nobody on the roster is ever "100%". Uryu says GazzyD is in for the fight of his life next week in the Tokyo Dome. He is heading to Japan with the sole intention of recapturing the 6CW Championship but if he has to take GazzyD out then that is what he will do (sorry Christy). As for tonight, facing a mystery opponent is never easy because you can't prepare but Ishida has never been one to back down from a fight so whoever comes out there better be ready for the best of him.

We hear crunching of stones as Alex Walker is up on the roof now. He just wanted Uryu to know that he is adding a little spice to his match tonight and has informed GazzyD that he can choose Ishida's opponent for tonight. Walker grins at Uryu as the scene ends.

*Miss Jessica is watching the ambulances (containing Wood & Engel) leaving the arena. She has a dark smile on her face. Tim Allen tries to get a word with her on what just happened and her unlikely reunion with Engel? Jessica merely smiles and says "You don't know half the story, Timmy baby, but we are just getting started". Jessica says the end is coming and confirms that Alex Walker has signed off on "Harlequin vs Wood III at Day of Reckoning on March 8th in an "I Quit" match". She skips off leaving the commentators to debate on whether the signing of such a match, even six weeks away, is a wise idea.

*We see Anthony Grace in the back and he is being congratulated on his victory by several backstage workers. He is suddenly assaulted from behind by Ojore, who clatters him to the ground. Reborn swaggers into shot now and is seething with what just went down. He orders Ojore to pull the glass container off the water cooler. Ojore holds the glass over the top of Grace's head as Reborn leaps into the air and then stomps it down into his skull, shattering the glass on impact. Grace is left unconscious on the floor, surrounded by water and broken glass, as blood runs down his head. Reborn kneels next to him and then puts his golden grill back in. He rises and grabs the camera...

"6CWF....Walker....Johnson....who the (beep) ever be running this show....the clock is ticking, next week in Tokyo you either give me my contract or I'm out....done.....and I'm taking this piece of (beep)'s life with me".

*Edward Plague is less than happy with Uryu's attack earlier in the night. Plague has the 6CW Championship on his lap whilst GazzyD stands in front of him (Christy is at home). He says Ishida needs to learn a lesson he will never forget because merely taking his title from him in not punishment enough for his crimes, his poison must be prevented from spreading any further. Gazzy nods in agreement and he knows just the remedy.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23) Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23)

Bout 4
Uryu Ishida vs ???

*Uryu makes his way out to a standing ovation from the 6CWF crowd. The commentators are hyping the huge re-match next week for the 6CW Championship before we get a recap of Uryu’s attack on Edward Plague earlier and then Alex Walker informing him that Gazzy will be picking his opponent here tonight.

*Ishida is in fighting mood as Blue Dragon is revealed as his opponent, causing shock from the audience. The KTTK holder makes his way onto the stage and has a grin on his face at the reception he is receiving. He slowly makes his way down to the ring and then stares up at Uryu, continuing to smile. Uryu seems to be contemplating his next move but then chooses to start early as he runs the ropes and suicide dives out, tackling Dragon backward into the aisleway. The commentators remark on how GazzyD seems have awoken something more primal inside of Ishida.

*Uryu climbs up on the ringside barrier. He waits for BD to stand and attempts a moonsault but Dragon catches him. BD runs Ishida toward the ringpost but he drops off the back and shoves the big man into the solid steel. Dragon staggers away as Ishida uses the steel steps to run up and launch into a flying shining wizard takedown. Dragon stumbles up and grabs the ring apron as Ishida shows amazing skill to swing his body around the ringpost with a variation of the “619”. Dragon rolls inside now as the bell finally sounds to begin the contest.

*Uryu clambers onto the apron and he springboards in for a flying forearm but BD catches him around the throat. He lifts Uryu for a chokeslam but Ishida turns his body into a wheelbarrow position and rolls forward into a pinning combo for a two count. They scramble up and Uryu dodges a right hand before running the ropes and returning with a leaping headscissors takedown. Dragon stumbles up in the corner as Uryu explodes into him with a hat-trick of dropkicks. BD is on wobbly legs as Uryu clambers up the ropes behind him and then leaps off with an overhang neckbreaker for another two.

*Uryu clambers out on the apron again and he looks for a catapult into the “X-factor” but Dragon uncorks a huge uppercut as Uryu is in the air. He then whips Ishida off the ropes and decimates him with a huge black hole slam as he returns. He drags Uryu up and then launches him, with ferocity, against the turnbuckle so that he flips upside down. Uryu is in a bad way as Dragon stomps on him repeatedly until the referee intervenes.

*Dragon has the “Deathnote” on his mind but Uryu drops out the front and then lands a leaping enzeguiri to the temple. BD staggers into the ropes as Uryu rushes at him but is backdropped up and over the top. Ishida lands on the apron and he runs to the turnbuckle and springs off it with a missile dropkick that connects with BD’s head and knocks him down whilst Uryu lands on the apron once more. Uryu clambers back up and climbs up top. BD rolls toward centre as Ishida launches himself into the “Split Second” but lands across the knees of the KTTK Champion.

*Uryu staggers up and BD lifts him into a fall away position before launching him into a Samoan drop. He then bounces back off the ropes and returns with a huge elbow to the heart which earns a two. He beckons Ishida up and lifts him off the floor with a two handed choke until the referee’s count forces a break. BD is enjoying himself as he welcomes Uryu back up and lifts him in position for an “End of Days” (Inverted STO). Uryu elbows at the temple of Dragon repeatedly to force a break. He quickly runs to the ropes and springboards looking for a tornado DDT but BD catches him and this time snaps off the “End of Days” for a nearfall.

*Dragon hauls Uryu off the mat now, a sinister look on his face, and he flips him up for a “Last Ride” powerbomb but Ishida drops down the back, locking his feet, and he flips into a “Code Red” sunset powerbomb for a two count. They get back up and Uryu leaps up and wraps his legs around Dragon’s arms, pulling him into a rolling crucifix pin for another two. They rise for a third time and Uryu tries to unleash a roundhouse kick but Dragon catches his foot and then uses his free hand to grab Uryu and spin him up and into a huge slam for a close call.

*Dragon ushers Uryu to his feet and looks for a huge running boot but Uryu ducks it and then dropkicks the knees out from under BD. He springboards off the ropes now and drills his foe with a tornado DDT but Dragon powers out on two. Uryu drags Dragon to his feet and wants the “Spanish Fly” but Dragon throws him away to the corner. He runs in but Ishida drives his feet up into the face. Dragon staggers as Uryu spins and springs off the middle turnbuckle for a crossbody but Dragon catches him. He then swings him up into a devastating sit-down powerbomb but Uryu shows amazing resilience to kick out.

*BD looks almost impressed by Uryu as he gets back up to his feet. He drags him up now and whips him into all four turnbuckles simultaneously as Ishida collapses after each impact. Dragon looks up at the “Night of Glory” sign in the rafters and he yells at the crowd “You’re looking at the headline act”. He then drags Uryu into position and spins him up for the “Deathnote” but Uryu amazingly counters in midair with the x-factor facebuster. BD tries to stumble back to his feet as Uryu unleashes a sickening buzzsaw kick against his temple.

*Uryu makes his way over to the corner now. He is struggling with injuries sustained tonight and from “Born in Fire” but manages to pull himself up. Sinister laughter then fills the air as Edward Plague and GazzyD make their way out onto the stage. The commentators are expecting a fight as Uryu turns and beckons for them to come down. BD is back up and tries to rush the corner but Uryu leaps over him and lands into a forward roll. Dragon sprints back out toward him but Uryu ducks under and handsprings off the ropes before twisting back with a sensational tornado DDT. Gazzy and Plague have walked down the ramp now to the aisleway. Uryu rolls out toward the announce area and grabs a steel chair before getting back in. He shrugs off the referee as he launches the chair from the ring and it lands at the feet of Plague and Gazzy, who just glare back at him.

*BD is up and he spins Uryu around and almost takes his head off with a huge lariat. He then flips him up and obliterates him with a “Last Ride” powerbomb. Dragon stares at both Gazzy and Plague now and he points at the 6CW Championship belt and motions it around his waist. Uryu staggers to his feet again and he spits in one last of defiance as he stares at Plague and Gazzy. Dragon rounds on him and charges in with a brutal knee to the stomach before decimating him with the “Deathnote” which secures the three.

*The commentators are remarking on an incredible battle between two of the absolute best in 6CWF. RJ alludes to Plague and Gazzy’s appearance being responsible for Ishida’s defeat in an attempt to weaken him ahead of next week in Tokyo. JT agrees but also mentions how ominous Blue Dragon is looking as he offers a very stark warning of the future for anyone involved in the main event scene. Dragon demands his KTTK Championship and raises it high over the fallen Uryu before he climbs from the ring. There is a long staredown between Dragon, Gazzy and Plague before BD smirks and heads up the ramp. Gazzy and Plague now make their way to the ring.

*Plague pulls out a wooden “Basin” from underneath the ring and they fill it with water. Gazzy then shocks the audience as he wraps a cloth around Uryu’s face and begin to plunge his head into the water. Ishida thrashes and fights as he desperately tries to pull free but ten times he is dunked into the liquid as Plague talks about “repentance” “cleansing of sins” and “the purge of the hollow hero”…..Gazzy finally releases as Uryu is left slumped on the mat, desperately pulling the cloth from his face. The crowd are booing as Plague holds the 6CW Championship in the air and the commentators debate on how this will manifest in the Tokyo Dome on January 30th.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23) Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23)

Post by JJJohnson Sat 20 Jan 2024, 1:49 pm

*Dicey Reilly has finally arrived at the arena and Scott Harris is waiting for him. Dicey says tonight is personal and it is on sight as soon as he says "any of these Genesis SOBs". Harris is in full agreement. He knows Dicey has been fighting this battle for over a decade whilst he and Kent have been at loggerheads since last May.....tonight they are going to find out that they have gone to war with the wrong people and he isn't leaving without his pound of flesh. The crowd can be heard roaring as both fan favourites head inside and toward ringside.

*Eddy Kent and Genesis are in their dressing room. Rex Adamson is doing squats in the corner but his phone buzzes. He looks and we see that he has "Xanthi (10)" missed calls as well as voicemails and texts. He merely looks at it and then casts it aside, which draws a smile from Kent. Kent says tonight Dicey and Harris think it's an even playing field but when you face Genesis it is never even because they are so much more dominant than anyone on the roster....he says they can't be handicapped, they can't be censored and the message they send tonight will reverberate around the wrestling world. Last week it was Max Adamson ("RIP" says Sweetwater and everyone laughs, except Rex) and tonight it will be Dicey Reilly and Scott Harris' turn to meet their maker. Kent moves over to Rex now and he says he understands last week was tough for Rex, destroying his Uncle, but Genesis is his real family and they will look out for him just as he knows Rex would sacrifice himself for the cause. Rex says nothing but Kent takes this as an agreement and pats the big green "G" on Rex's singlet. Kent rallies them again and there is real confidence oozing from Genesis. Kent and Rex head for the door now. Kent has forgotten the title belt and Rex picks it up. Kent comes back in as Rex is looking at the gold and then he hands it to Kent before they leave toward ringside.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23) Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 20th January 2024 (Episode 23)

Post by JJJohnson Sat 20 Jan 2024, 1:54 pm

Main Event
Eddy Kent/Rex Adamson vs Dicey Reilly/Scott Harris

*The arena is jam-packed to the rafters and full of noise as we return to ringside for our main event. Scott Harris is the first to arrive and is met by a cacophony of noise from all in attendance. He bounces from one foot to the other and then raises his arms as pyros go off behind him. Commentary are hyping Harris and his potential to be a headline act at “Night of Glory” as he hunts vindication against Eddy Kent. Dicey Reilly then makes his entrance and the arena explodes. The Irishman raises a fist in the air as his credentials for being in another “Night of Glory” main event is discussed. Dicey climbs into the ring and he gives Harris a fist bump before turning to the crowd. We get a recap on the attack that took place last week in the parking lot as the talk turns to tonight and whether anyone can halt the forward momentum of Genesis.

*Rex Adamson’s music hits first before it turns into the familiar “Numb” that introduces the arrival of the 6WF Champion. We are reminded that the rest of Genesis are banned from ringside tonight and JT is happy to see we will have a level playing field for once. Eddy Kent basks in the limelight on the stage and raises the 6WF Championship in the air as Rex Adamson stands at his side. Kent turns to Rex and gives him a nod before they begin their descent to the ring. Dicey and Harris exchange a look before they dive out and take the fight to their opposition in the aisleway.

*Dicey is pummelling Rex Adamson and he slams a knee to the gut before whipping the youngster into the steel steps, leaving him slumped in a heap on the floor. Scott Harris has Kent pinned against the barrier and is ripping at his chest with backhand and openhand chops. Kent’s chest is red raw as Harris runs him forward now and launches him against the ringpost. The crowd are on their feet and cheering at the vengeance that is being dished out. Harris drags Kent and slings him in the ring before following.

*Kent is on his knees and pleading for mercy as Harris kicks him in the face and stomps on him repeatedly. He drags Kent up and launches him with an overhead suplex before following up with a wrist clutch release suplex. The world champion is on spaghetti legs as Harris bridges him into a huge German but Kent succeeds in kicking out. Harris snap suplexes him now before offering the tag to Dicey Reilly.

*Dicey leaps over the ropes and he lands right hands before whipping Kent across the ring and launches him into a huge backdrop. He crushes him in the corner with a massive clothesline and then scoops him on his shoulders before walking him out into a back to belly piledriver (White Noise) for a two count. Dicey then drags Kent up and he slings him toward the Genesis corner. The crowd go wild as Dicey intimates to Rex Adamson that he wants him to tag in.

*Rex wastes no time and is more than happy to engage in a lockup. They jockey for position before Rex takes the back and lifts Dicey off the floor. He clubs at his face with crossed hooks before looking to apply a grounded full nelson. Dicey is ready for the battle and gets back to his feet. He drives elbows into Rex’s gut and then runs the ropes but returns into a huge pop up Samoan drop. Rex welcomes Dicey to his feet again and shows incredible strength to bench the Irishman before dropping him into a spear/spinebuster for a two count. JT is adamant that Rex Adamson will hold world gold by the end of 2024, RJ believes he is one of the favourites for the Gateway to Glory.

*Rex slugs vicious right hands into Dicey’s jaw until he’s slumped against the ropes and then tags Kent back. The World Champ runs over with a crushing facewash kick before he pulls Dicey into the centre and scoops him onto his shoulders before swinging him off into a facebuster across his knee (A-Town Down) which Dicey kicks out from on two. Kent paints the letter “G” in the air which draws a mixed response from the crowd (Genesis definitely have the DX feeling about them from 2000)

*Kent backs in the corner and he ushers Dicey up and looks to land the “Genesis Kick” but Dicey catches his foot and spins him around before decking him with a huge clothesline. Kent stumbles back up and Dicey drags him into a massive brainbuster but Kent falls behind and counters with an inverted headlock backbreaker into a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Kent kneels and he smirks over at Harris. “None of you are close to my level….Daddy is elite”.

*Kent pulls Dicey up and he whips him into the corner. He chases in for a stinger splash but Dicey catches him. Kent’s eyes widen as Dicey walks from the corner with Kent in his clutches and then he throws him back into the turnbuckle with an overhead throw. Dicey starts his crawl toward Harris as Kent tries to get the tag to Rex. Rex gets the tag first and he catapults himself through the middle rope and explodes into a shotgun dropkick to Dicey’s spine but it sends the Irishman flying forward and he is able to tag Harris. Harris explodes in and he and Rex go toe to toe with an amazing flurry of punches. Harris then headbutts Rex and he grabs his waist and launches him into release German. Rex gets back up and looks for a quick kick but Harris catches his foot and nails a dragon screw. He attempts the sharpshooter but Rex fights it so he turns it into a catapult instead. Rex clatters the corner as Harris nails a dragon suplex as he comes back out.

*Harris stalks Rex and attempts the “Shot in the Dark” but Rex jumps out and lands a hard forearm to the neck before shoving Harris into the ropes. He runs forward but Harris counters with a backdrop. Rex lands on the apron and nails a shoulder thrust through the middle rope. He then launches himself back over the top but Harris catches him in midair with an astonishing codebreaker. Harris covers but Rex shows his resilience to kick out. Harris bounces off the ropes and lands a hard kick to the head before he heads up top. He wants the frogsplash but Kent starts trash talking him. They staredown and that allows Rex to run up the ropes and nails a monstrous overhead suplex from on high.

*The calls for the tag come in again from both sides. Kent decides to run in and clatter Dicey off the apron before going back and tagging in off of Rex. He lands hard chops to Harris’ chest and then shoves him to the corner and stomps at his midsection. He lifts Harris up high and wants a superplex but Harris holds on and pummels at the gut. He slams Kent’s head down and looks for a sunset flip powerbomb but Kent holds on and then draws his foot up so he can stamp down on Harris’ face. Harris holds his nose (which has begun bleeding) as Kent turns on the turnbuckle and launches off with an axe handle takedown. Harris staggers back up and Kent drops him with a rolling fireman’s slam for a two.

*Kent has plenty to say to Harris as he struggles on the mat. He pulls him up for a piledriver now but Harris swipes his legs and tries to synch the sharpshooter. Kent kicks up and lands in Harris’ bloodied nose again. Kent struggles back up and he drags Harris into a huge spiked DDT for a two count. Kent circles Harris now and then pulls him in for the “Mic Check” but Harris battles free and then nails a huge t-bone suplex. Harris drags his way over and tags in Dicey as the crowd erupt with cheers.

*Dicey drops Kent three times in a row with clotheslines and then he whips him off the ropes and lifts him into a huge spinning sideslam as he returns. Dicey hypes the audience as he drags Kent to his feet and scores with a brainbuster but Kent manages to kickout. Dicey signals for the “Craicdown” now as Rex tries to get in the ring. The referee blocks him off as Kent drops to his knees and lands a low blow. Kent scrambles over and tags Rex in now.

*Rex waits for Dicey to stagger up and then catapults himself over the top into a huge shoulder tackle. He then drags him up and underhooks both arms before flipping him into a release powerbomb. Rex circles the ring and then runs into the corner and nails a slingshot avalanche splash (ala Jack Swagger) that crashes down on Dicey’s chest. He welcomes him back up and scoops him on the shoulders for the “Fire/Thunder” Driver. Dicey battles and drops off the back. He shoves Rex off the ropes but Adamson roars back with a “Gore” out of nowhere.

*Rex has a big grin on his face as he makes the cover breaks it up. Rex rises and goes head to head with Harris. A shoving match ensues. Eddy Kent gets in on the blindside for the “Genesis Kick” but Harris moves. Kent stops just before impact on Rex as they lock eyes. Harris then storms in and lands a release German suplex on Rex. Kent tries to storm forward but Harris pulls down the ropes and sends him flying over the top. Rex staggers up now and Harris drags him in close before nailing the “Shot in the Dark”. A three count looks imminent but Kent is able to place Rex’s foot on the ropes from the outside.

*Dicey is on the outside now and he clatters Kent from behind. He looks to whip him into the steel steps but Kent reverses as the Irishman’s head smashes the steel. Kent trash talks Dicey before heading back around the ring. Harris is on the ropes now and looking for the frogsplash but Rex moves and sends him crashing to the canvass. Rex shows immense power as he gutwrenches Harris off the mat into an electric chair and drops him out into a sickening German suplex (Croyt’s Wrath) for a two count. Rex pulls down his straps now as he crouches in the corner. He yells at Harris to rise for the “Gore” but Kent slaps his back for the tag. Rex seems a bit surprised but Kent winks at him and says “Daddy’s got this, just make sure the drunkard is kept out of it”. Rex shrugs and climbs out of the ring before dropping down to make sure Dicey is in no position to interfere.

*Kent stalks Harris now and looks for the “Genesis Kick” but Harris dodges. Harris looks for the “Shot in the Dark” but Kent drops over the shoulders and spins his rival around before nailing the “Mic Check”. Kent spits on the canvass and heads for the corner before he follows up with the “Kent Bomb”. Kent is so full of it that he raises a finger each time the ref makes a count….the lock of shock on his face is a picture as Harris finds a way to kickout.

*Dicey is starting to stir on the outside as Rex continues to guard him. In the ring, Eddy Kent is arguing with the referee about the nature of his count. Suddenly the arena erupts as "Bodies" hits the speakers and Blue Dragon makes his way down to the ring with his "Key to the Kingdom" Championship belt. He stares over at Rex before looking up at Eddy Kent and grins. Kent looks confused as his eyes follow Dragon, who begins to walk around toward the announce area. Kent walks toward the ropes as the referee tries to block him. Dragon just stands and smiles. The noise from the crowd is at fever pitch as a bruised Max Adamson hops the railing. Rex has no idea until he turns around and eats a massive “Gore” from his Uncle. Max helps Dicey to his feet now. Kent is still unawares as he pushes the referee aside, sneers at Blue Dragon, and then looks for the “Genesis Kick” on Harris. Harris catches his leg and wags a finger at him before spinning Kent around and nails the “Shot in the Dark”. Harris goes up top now and scores with the frogsplash as Dicey rolls back in. Harris drags Kent up and throws him into Dicey who follows up with the “Craicdown”. Both Harris and Dicey put a foot on the chest of Kent as the referee completes the three count.

*The commentators are going wild with what we have just witnessed. That goes down as Scott Harris’ first official victory over Eddy Kent. Max Adamson is patrolling the outside of the ring and then he rolls in to join Dicey and Scott Harris. Max listens to the reception of the crowd now and he nods his head as we get a shot of Rex Adamson struggling on the outside, clutching at his ribs. Eddy Kent is slow to his feet as Tyler Roth and Michael Sweetwater rush out on stage. Max fixes them a glare before he scoops Kent on his shoulders and launches him into a huge “Cyclone”. Blue Dragon remains on the outside just taking the whole scene in.

*The staredown continues until Alex Walker interrupts. Walker is showing real glee at everything that is happening. He hypes the whole issues between Max and Co with Genesis and about how it equals ratings and money. So much so that next week (January 30th) in the Tokyo Dome he has just had an amazing idea…..Eddy Kent will defend the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship against Max Adamson…….Dicey Reilly……and Scott Harris. Max, Dicey and Harris are all staring at one another now…..Walker isn’t finished though because Rex Adamson will serve as the special guest referee for that match…..

*Rex is up on the outside now as he moves to join the rest of Genesis. They pull Eddy Kent from the ring and he huddles next to them as the two warring sides stare one another down whilst Blue Dragon continues to survey everyone involved to bring the episode to a close whilst the commentators talk about the monumental night we have in store for us in ten days at the Tokyo Dome.
