6CWF Presents Day of Reckoning VII - Night 2 Results

*We are back live inside The Sphere in Las Vegas. "Everybody wants to rule the world" by Lorde is booming around the arena as the LED screens document all the amazing action we saw last night. Jeff Thadeus and RJ welcome us back and run down what we are in store for here this evening. The crowd are beyond hyped as we get a huge pyrotechnic display before there is documentation of the majority of the roster arriving for the show. We see Genesis arriving together (minus Michael Sweetwater, who is in the hospital) and then a battered GazzyD propped up by Edward Plague. We see Liam Wood and Emmy before the four members of The Resistance arriving separately. Jeff Thadeus' pick Geoff Steel is in good spirits before we see Uryu Ishida in the trainer's room and the doctors don't look impressed with the results of the tests they have run. Clarke James is sitting alone in a darkened room before we see the European Champion, Daniel Reilly arriving. We then see a giant SUV pull up outside but nobody gets out.

*Clarissa is standing by with Anthony Grace. Grace is ready to put the "worst year of his life" behind him and settle the score with Robin Reborn. Grace has no doubts that Reborn & Ojore will have a scheme or two but he is more than ready for what they can throw at him. Grace believes he has at least "one more Box Office hit" left in him and says that by the end of the night he is hoping to call himself world champion once again.

*Alex Walker appears in his office with Jenny McManus, the rest of PK are nowhere to be seen (we shall assume they are getting prepared for tonight's matches). Walker and Jenny seem very friendly. Walker wants Jenny to do the honours as she removes a red cover off a plinth to reveal a brand new championship belt. Alex Walker is proud to announce that Night of Glory IX - 6CWF will be XTREME once more!

Anthony Grace vs Robin Reborn

RJ: Night 2 and we are kicking off with an absolute bang…

JT: Picking up where we left off last night……only one ring here tonight and, as you can see, that fifteen foot steel cage is lowering around it right now….

“So fresh, so clean” blasts out and the LED screen lights up with a highlight reel of Robin Reborn’s acting career as well as his in-ring exploits. The entranceway then glows white as we see Robin Reborn appear, dressed in a full fur coat. Reborn sneers at the response form the audience as he swaggers toward the ring…

RJ: Absolutely no doubt this man is world class, has been for a long time….problem is, he started to believe it….he’s swallowed his own hype and he has placed himself up on a pedestal above all others….

JT: Which has also stretched to his attitude and personality….he believes he can say and do whatever he pleases without reprimand…

RJ: For a little while that was correct, his relationship with Amazon certainly gave him more freedom than others on the roster…

JT: To a degree it still has….let’s not forget Reborn’s new contract here with 6CWF which gives him the right to only perform on PLEs, PPVs and special events…he is no longer obligated to appear on a weekly basis…

RJ: Which only adds to his inflated ego….

JT: Reborn’s attitude is what has led us to tonight…….back in 2023 he seemed to have forged a new alliance with Anthony Grace, Hollywood’s Elite rubbing shoulders and making demands of management….but Grace’s “personal” issues became an issue and the team was nowhere near as successful as Reborn hoped….

RJ: Reborn blamed Grace for their failures and not only physically assaulted him but the verbal tirade was nothing short of heinous….Reborn said some disgusting things in regards to Grace’s relationship with the late Charles Kramer…

JT: At the time when Kramer was on his death bed….Reborn showed his total disregard for Grace’s feelings, basically just a complete lack of human emotion….

RJ: Which has sparked a near three month feud between the pair…..Anthony Grace is on the road to recovery, he is in a much better place emotionally and physically….but finishing this feud with Robin Reborn may be exactly what he needs to push himself onward and toward success once more….

JT: Reborn, however, will have other plans….he also wants to put himself in a prime position come Night of Glory….

RJ: Tonight they find themselves locked inside a steel cage…..Ojore, Reborn’s henchmen, will not be the factor he has been since returning to 6CWF….

JT: Don’t put it past them to try…..Reborn talks a big game but he will not want to go one on one with Grace without any kind of backup….

Reborn throws off his fur coat and clicks his tongue at the audience before he drags himself up on the apron and through the door. He takes a long look at the structure before “Hey boy, hey girl” blasts out to a standing ovation from the fans inside The Sphere….

RJ: A few months ago I never would have suspected this kind of reception for Anthony Grace but the 6CWF fans recognise and respect the journey he is on….trying to turn his life around, beat addiction and win back the affection of his family….he has not always been the most likeable of characters but I believe this incarnation of Grace is the closest to his truest form that we have ever seen….

JT: I agree…..Grace has a huge following through his film career but his attitude in pro wrestling has, at times, let him down….it seems for the first time since becoming a 6CWF superstar he is showing us his true self…

Anthony Grace taps his heart in appreciation of the fan support before making his way down toward the cage. He stares through the mesh at Reborn before he makes his way up to the steps toward the doorway….

RJ: GRACE KNEW!

The crowd as Reborn runs over to leap into a dropkick but Grace drops down and slams the door shut as Reborn clatters into it and lands in a heap on the canvass. Grace then pulls the door open and climbs inside…

JT: Reborn thought he was going to grab the upperhand but he didn’t bank on Anthony Grace sussing him out….

Grace is inside now as the bell sounds and he waits for Reborn to get to his feet before running through him with a clothesline. He nails a second clothesline and then ducks a right hand and lifts his foe into an atomic drop before running him forward and launches him against the cage wall…

RJ: Anthony Grace has been waiting for this moment for quite some time….

JT: These two did some damage to one another inside the “Hardcore Hell” at Born in Fire and I’d expect plenty more of the same this evening…

Reborn bounces back across the canvass as Grace turns to the audience and soaks up their adulation. He then drags Reborn up onto his feet and runs him forward again…

RJ: LIKE SPIDERMAN!

Reborn shows amazing athleticism to run up the cage wall and backflips over Grace. He beckons him around and takes him off of his feet with a spinning heel kick before following up with a standing shooting star press. Reborn is trash talking now and slapping Grace’s head….

Reborn: Farewell tour in Vegas, like all the washed up has-beens….you gone be with your daddy soon…

JT: Robin Reborn really is a horrid human being…

Reborn runs the ropes and he returns with a bakatare sliding kick to the face which leaves his foe slumped on his back. Reborn then moonsaults into a double stomp across the midsection before running into a handspring and firing back with another moonsault………………1…………………2………….kickout!

RJ: Despite his mistake to start this bout, Reborn starting to enjoy himself now…

Grace staggers up in the corner as Reborn sprints in and thunders into him with a huge dropkick. He repeats the process before circling the ring and charging in for a third time with a huge helluva kick. Grace’s head is slumped as Reborn lifts him up on the turnbuckle…

JT: Reborn is starting to cook here, he’s looking formidable…

Reborn climbs on the ropes with his opponent and he is mockingly slapping his head and face again before he pulls him into a front facelock…

RJ: Superplex incoming….

Grace lands huge hooks to the body and then he somehow manages to lift Reborn into a suplex position and leaps off the top rope with an incredible twisting “Final cut” type suplex…

JT: That was absolutely tremendous from Anthony Grace…..ridiculously high-impact so early into this match…

RJ: I don’t think either man will be resting on his laurels….remember both of these will want to compete in the “Gateway to Glory” later tonight, the more energy they have left the better…

Both men are hurting from the landing and it takes a couple of minutes for them to rise. They trade with right hands now before Reborn looks for a quick kick. Grace catches his foot and spins him around but Reborn counters with a mule kick whilst he is spinning….Grace stumbles back against the ropes and then comes forward as Reborn leaps up and connects with a standing dragonrana………………..1…………………..2…………shoulder up!

JT: Pinfalls, submissions and escaping the cage is the name of the game here…..that’s how you win…

Reborn beckons Grace up and lifts him onto his shoulders before spinning him off into a facebuster across his knee (ala Austin Theory). Reborn is really trashing the fans now (Hollywood Rock style) before he heads over to the corner and leaps up. He seems as though he is contemplating the climb to the cage top (which sparks a huge reaction from the crowd)…

RJ: The fans want to see the high risk….

JT: And Reborn is telling them not a chance…

The cheers turn to boos as Reborn shakes his head and gives them the finger. He keeps his place on the top rope before launching himself off….

RJ: SHOOTING STAR…

It’s all knees as Grace slams them upward into Reborn’s body as he comes down. Grace takes a few moments to compose himself and then he spins Reborn around and drills him with a neckbreaker. Grace is heading for the ropes now….

JT: Here is a man who may give the fans exactly what they want to see…

Grace has a smile on his face as the audience urge him to climb to the top of the cage and jump off. He is certainly contemplating it but he sees Reborn starting to rise so he waits and then jumps from the top rope with a bulldog takedown. Grace signals that he wants the cage door opening…

RJ: He’s gonna walk on out of here like he’s on the red carpet…

Reborn staggers up and clatters into Grace as he is trying to step through the ropes to the outside. He takes a step back and then launches in with a superkick which causes Grace to sway into the doorway…

JT: Reborn almost, inadvertently, handed Grace the match there….

Reborn reacts in time to grab Grace’s wrist and he succeeds in pulling him back inside the ring. He then positions him for a suplex…

JT: GOD’S LAST….

Grace drops to his knees with a jawbreaker counter which sends Reborn staggering back into the corner. He gets up now and scores with a stinger splash before he clambers onto the ropes and begins to deliver a ten punch combo, the fans counting along as he does so….

RJ: This sell-out crowd are firmly behind Anthony Grace ton-OH!

Reborn suddenly walks out with Grace in position and then drops backward so Grace falls and smashes his face against the top of the turnbuckle. Grace is on unsteady legs as Reborn ushers him around into centre ring….

JT: GOD’S LAST GIFT….NAILED IT!

The hooked suplex lands in the middle of the ring………………………1………………………….2…………………………3!

*Crowd pop

RJ: Anthony Grace is saving the big superhero performance for tonight….

Cheers ring out from the wall of fans as Grace pops his shoulder off the canvass just before the referee’s hand comes down to complete the three. Robin Reborn’s eyes are wide with shock and anger…

JT: Reborn can’t believe it…he had the celebration planned already….

RJ: Something tells me Robin Reborn has been grossly underestimating Anthony Grace for a long time…

Reborn bounces back off the ropes and returns with a thunderous knee strike (ala John Morrison) that flattens Grace once more. Reborn then signals he wants the door opening…

JT: Reborn may just walk out of here instead….

Grace crawls after Reborn and grabs at his ankle before he can leave the cage. Reborn kicks out at Grace’s face and then he spins and grabs the top rope before jumping into the air and pushes himself out into an elbow drop to the chest but Grace moves….

RJ: Reborn tried to be too flashy and it cost him there…

They both stagger back up again and Reborn looks for a big roundhouse kick but Grace ducks underneath it and waistlocks his opponent. He looks for a German suplex but Reborn slams an elbow into the side of his head to break his grip….Reborn then runs to the ropes and springboards….

JT: HE JUMPED WITH HIM!

Huge cheers as Grace runs and jumps into a springboard too before dragging Reborn off the middle into a ring-shaking Russian legsweep on the canvass. They roll back up and Grace drags Reborn in close before drilling him with a huge DDT………………1……………………..2…………….kickout!

RJ: This match has been fought at a furious pace….no let up at all…

JT: They aren’t waiting around…..they want this finished….

Grace drags Reborn to his feet and tries to flip him into a powerbomb but Reborn leaps out the back. RR runs the ropes and comes sprinting back….Grace tries to counter with a tilt-a-whirl but Reborn spins out into a facebuster (ala Carmelo Hayes)……Grace staggers to his feet again…

RJ: WORLDSTAR!

JT: He got every ounce of that….

The “zigzag” neckbreaker smashes Grace down hard into the canvass, his legs coming up into the air. Reborn nods his head, vindicated, as he grabs Grace’s legs now for the cover…….one..

……………thr-shoulder up!

RJ: Grace is not wilting tonight, no sir…

JT: Such a tremendous performance, amazing heart….six months ago there is no way you’d see this from him….

Reborn is up and in the referee’s face. He is slapping his hands together and demanding a faster count but the official waves him off. Reborn decides to head for the cage wall now…

RJ: Grace is situated too close to the door so Reborn is gonna try and climb out of here….

JT: Up and over, both feet hit the deck and you win….

Reborn is up on the ropes and scaling higher when Grace grabs his trunks and pulls him back down onto the top rope. They trade punches now before Reborn pokes at the eyes of his opponent and slams his head off the cage wall…

RJ: Precarious position right now…

Grace kicks out at Reborn’s stomach and takes his turn to slam Reborn’s head into the cage. They trade more impact into the side of the mesh before Grace seizes Reborn’s face and grates it against the mesh….

JT: That will rip and tear flesh…

Reborn suddenly slips and his legs go either side of the ropes, crotching him, as the impact forces Grace’s legs to do exactly the same…

RJ: That did not go well for either man…

The crowd are wincing as both superstars collapse on the canvass following their bad landing. The referee is forced to just stand and wait for either man to get back up..

JT: You can see the toll this has taken on both men already….

RJ: The steel cage is designed to ravage and destroy, nothing good comes of these matches….

Both Reborn and Grace have somehow got back to their feet and are attempting to scale the cage wall again. They are up on the ropes again as Reborn uses the top of the cage to pull himself up and wrap his legs around Grace’s neck….

JT: HURRICAN…

Grace grips the side of the cage to steady himself and refuses to budge. He holds Reborn there and slams his side repeatedly into the cage before turning around and leaping from on high….

JT: WHAT A GODDAMN POWERBOMB!

The whole ring shudders and the referee nearly loses his footing as Grace drives Reborn down into the canvass with brutal impact. Both superstars are left in a battered heap on the canvass….

RJ: We really have picked up where we left off last night…..brutality personified….

JT: 6CWF and Day of Reckoning delivering once more….this is why we are the top promotion in the land…

Grace is the more mobile of the combatants and he somehow drags himself across the canvass and drops an arm on Reborn’s chest…

RJ: That may just be enough…

1………………2………..kickout!

JT: Reborn is teak tough too, we cannot forget that….this is the man who ended Joshua’s streak….

The fans are applauding and cheering the superstars on as they attempt to gain a second wind. Slowly they rise and begin to trade punches again…..Grace rocks Reborn on his heels and looks for an Irish whip but Reborn handsprings into the ropes and twists back with a headscissors takedown…..they rise again and Reborn ducks a clothesline before springboarding off the ropes…

RJ: DISASTER KICK!

The crunch of the impact echoes around The Sphere as Reborn’s kick lands flush on the jaw of Grace. Reborn is kneeling, sucking in deep breaths, before he staggers up to the corner and he scales…

JT: Reborn knows he needs something big….he’s thrown plenty at Grace already but it hasn’t been enough…..FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATOR!

The LED screens behind the ring are on replay overload are Reborn launches off the top into the corkscrew shooting star…..he is clutching his ribs from the impact but manages to drag himself over and cover….

RJ: I think the superhero comebacks may be done…

JT: PERHAPS HE’S GOT JUST ONE MORE IN HIM?!?!

Reborn looks ready to attack the referee as he holds up two fingers and indicates that Grace definitely kicks out. Reborn is looking at his opponent with almost disbelief in his eyes…

RJ: I think Reborn felt he was going to come in here tonight and do his thing with no questions asked….

JT: He’s become so used to Ojore doing his dirty work that he’s forgotten the effort it takes to put away a world class opponent….

Reborn clambers on top of Grace now and he thunders down with hard fists to the face as his frustration grows to the surface. He rummages in his trunks now as he pulls out the golden brass knuckles that we have seen in the past….

RJ: I knew Reborn wouldn’t come unprepared….he always has a backup plan….

JT: Never doubt Reborn’s ability to build his own advantages….

Reborn spits now and he is trash talking some more as he waits for Grace to get up to his feet. He has an angry expression as he kisses the knuckle duster and then swings for the rafters….

RJ: HE PUNCHED THE CAGE!

Grace ducks the shot at the final moment as Reborn’s hand thunders into the cage wall. He yells in pain as the knucks drop from his fist and onto the floor….Grace beckons him around and drills him into the canvass with the snapmare driver (ala LA Knight)….

JT: THAT COULD DO IT!

RJ: NOW GRACE’S TURN TO SHOW SOME FRUSTRATION!

Grace is looking to the heavens now as the referee shows it was a definite two count. Grace sucks in a deep breath now as he tries to push himself back to a standing position…

JT: These guys are setting the bar extremely high here tonight…..this is a rock ‘em, sock ‘em clash….

RJ: Brilliant stuff….

Grace is up and staggers against the corner to keep himself upright. He fixes his attention on Reborn, who is on all fours, and he waits for him to stand before he makes his move…

JT: BLOCKBUSTER!

Reborn ducks the tornado roundhouse kick at the final second and lands a boot to the stomach….

RJ: WING CLIP….

Grace counters out with a backdrop and then stumbles to the cage door. He is just climbing through the middle rope…

JT: 619!

The tiger feint kick around the ropes lands from Reborn and sends Grace rolling back toward the middle of the ring. Reborn drags himself up the ropes to the top now and rests against the cage wall before beckoning Grace to his feet…

RJ: GOD’S MOST POWERFUL WRATH!

*Crowd pop

JT: ANTHONY GRACE JUST HIT ANOTHER BOX OFFICE BLOCKBUSTER!

Reborn soars through the air for the forearm smash but Grace ducks the blow and then turns on his heel to land the roundhouse kick behind the ear. Reborn drops down on his knees and his head sags….

RJ: THUNDERSTRUCK!

JT: That has to be all…

Grace flattens Reborn into the canvass with the “Famea55er” but the crowd are demanding more. Grace is smiling as he points to the top of the cage, sparking a huge response from the audience…

RJ: They wanna see it….

JT: But I don’t know how wise this is from Grace, he has the match won…

RJ: Ever the showman….

Grace looks down at Reborn now before he walks to the cage wall and shakes it. Grace smiles at the audience’s response and he begins to climb for the skies…

JT: Anthony Grace has months’ worth of pent up anger that he is ready to unleash…..it has been an emotional rollercoaster to say the least….

RJ: And he wants to put an end to the man who has caused so much of the pain…..Anthony Grace is going all in here….

JT: This is insane….he’s fifteen feet in the air……OH MY LORD!

Crowd: Holy (beep) x20

RJ: MOONSAULT FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE!

The Sphere is ready to become unglued as Grace flips from the top of the cage and he slams down onto Reborn with devastating impact…..Reborn is clearly unconscious whilst Grace is rolling on the canvass in agony….

JT: Anthony Grace may have just destroyed Robin Reborn but at what cost to himself…..he looks in terrible shape here…

RJ: He could have broken every single rib with that landing….

JT: In all my years, that is right up there with one of the craziest things I have ever seen….

RJ: OH CMON!

There are boos now as the huge form of Ojore comes charging down to ringside. The official on the outside tries to get in his way but Ojore grabs him and launches him across the arena floor…Ojore then clambers up and rips the cage door open…

JT: Why am I not surprised? Just when it seemed like Reborn was done and Grace was finally getting his revenge….Ojore shows up, the difference maker….

RJ: That’s why Reborn re-enlisted Ojore, for moments just like this…

JT: And Anthony Grace has no idea….he’s barely getting to his feet….

RJ: I don’t think he’ll be on his feet for long…….OH MY GOD!

Crowd: Holy (beep) x20

JT: DEVASTATION, CARNAGE….MAYHEM…..THE MAN OF WAR JUST DESTROYED HIMSELF!

Anthony Grace is looking outward toward the crowd but he smiles as though he is fully aware of what is coming. He turns as there is a roar from behind him and Ojore comes rushing toward him with a battering ram headbutt but Grace sidesteps and sends Ojore smashing into the cage, breaking that side of the cage off and sends it to the arena floor…..

RJ: THAT IS UNREAL….OJORE BROKE THE CAGE AND HIMSELF!

JT: I GUESS PAYBACK REALLY IS A B!TCH!

Ojore is mangled on top of the cage wall, which is now strewn across the arena floor. Grace looks out at the hole in the cage and he grins….

RJ: All Grace needs to do now is step out and he has won…..

JT: He’s seen something he likes the look of…

RJ: It’s Reborn’s custom knucks…

Grace leans down and he picks up the golden knucks and he smirks as he fits it on his hand. He takes another look at Ojore, still motionless on top of the broken cage wall, and then he turns around as Robin Reborn is somehow trying to stand…

JT: Reborn just woke up from his slumber….his body must be destroyed…

RJ: And he’s missed all the drama….your insurance policy backfired, Robin…..Ojore is out….

JT: And your night is about to get even worse…….SUPERMAN!

Grace runs forward and leaps into the air before detonating the huge punch right on the jaw of Reborn, leaving him flat on the canvass. Grace points to the skies….

RJ: That one was for Charles….

Grace drops down now and covers as the crowd count along……

JT: Anthony Grace is kicking off 2024 with a huge W on PPV…..massive victory…

RJ: You’d have to say this goes some way to drawing a line under a tumultuous few months…

“Hey Boy, Hey Girl” is echoing around as the fans rise to their feet and applaud Grace. The referee hoists his arm into the air to signify his win as we get a highlight package of everything that has just gone down…..we return to ringside to see Ojore, barely managing to get to his feet, clutching at his skull whilst Reborn remains motionless in the ring. Grace climbs out now and heads over toward the fan section, where he raises a hand in thanks for their support…

JT: Vindication for Anthony Grace here at “Day of Reckoning”…..he has finally put Robin Reborn in his place….

RJ: Tremendous encounter to begin proceedings tonight….Grace has taken plenty of bumps along the way but I’d bet money on his involvement later tonight in the “Gateway to Glory”…..Reborn and Ojore? I wouldn’t be as certain after what they have been through….

JT: Ojore broke the cage with his head, I mean that is unnatural and surely, at the very least, he needs a concussion check…..Reborn will have a mixture of a battered body and wounded pride….

RJ: Grace needed this….it has been a tough few months but he will hope this victory is the spark he needs to ignite 2024 into something special….

JT: If he follows it up later by winning the 6CW Championship then I think he will be more than happy…..I’d say his issues with Reborn may finally be put to bed but this year in 6CWF is just getting started…..what comes next for both of these superstars?

RJ: Folks do not go anywhere because up next we have championship action…..a 3 on 1 handicap match for the European Championship…..and then, it’s the big one…..30 men…..Gateway to Glory…..who is leaving tonight as the 6CW World Champion?

*We are inside a huge function room as Max Adamson enters to join Alex Walker & Jenny McManus. A door opens to the opposite side now and all the members of Genesis arrive. There is a war of words and plenty of gesticulating but Walker gets in between. They are all here because he has an announcement....first, Max Adamson will lead the Class of 2024 Hall of Fame....Max smirks and accepts Walker's handshake as Genesis sneer. Eddy Kent is then appeased as Walker announces that Genesis (his creation) will also be inducted into the 2024 Hall of Fame. There is plenty of back slapping now and Kent is modelling an imaginary ring. He turns to Rex and winks at him "I told you Genesis would take you to the top"....Max rolls his eyes but Walker stops Kent mid-flow. Because Genesis has been around since 2011 and he isn't the only one responsible for their success. He tells Kent that Jackson Black will be here tonight as his guest ahead of his part in Genesis' induction at Night of Glory IX. Eddy Kent looks absolutely furious as Max winks at him and Rex before saying "Aren't dysfunctional families ridiculous?". Max walks off and leaves Kent seething.

*Daniel Reilly is standing by with Jack Reynolds. Reilly is use to being a gunslinger and going it alone, fighting the establishment, and although nobody expects it he guarantees he will leave tonight as the European & 6CW World Champion. Reilly dares Exodus to do their worst....he calls himself "the most in-form man on the roster" and declares nobody can stop him.....he finds his way barred now by Dicey Reilly. The two Originals just stare at one another as the scene comes to an end.

*The Parasite Killers enter Clarke James' locker-room. McManus wants to talk tactics but CJ merely puts on the "Scarecrow" mask and ignores him. Fanatic asks where Jenny is and if she will be accompanying them but McManus gets annoyed and says "You know exactly where she is". He glares at Clarke James now but CJ just stands up and heads for the door. He freezes in the doorway and turns back to PK now...."Walker has made this no DQ, tornado rules. Do not mess it up, it couldn't be any easier, even for you"...James walks out as McManus looks angered.

Daniel Reilly vs Exodus

JT: What a surprise that Alex Walker is changing the rules in Exodus’ favour again…..as if things weren’t hard enough tonight for Daniel Reilly….

RJ: How do you see the champion keeping his title tonight? First he’s facing 3 on 1, tornado rules, and now he finds out it will be no holds barred aswell…..we knew Walker hated Reilly but this is beyond evil….

JT: He is certainly stacking the deck to ensure Reilly cannot leave tonight with his title….

RJ: He may also get so badly hurt at the hands of Exodus that he is unable to take part in the upcoming “Gateway to Glory”…..

JT: I’m pretty sure that is the intent….Alex Walker does not want Reilly capitalising on that #30 spot….

“Sad but true” blasts through the airwaves and there are boos as The Parasite Killers walk out in front of the crowd. The former tag champions pause in the aisleway now as “Through the valley” now echoes out to deafening boos….

RJ: The most hated man in all 6CWF?

JT: Toss up between him and Alex Walker but this certainly the most vindictive man on the roster for sure….Clarke James is viewed by man as the devil incarnate….

RJ: And his reign of terror since last May lends plenty of weight to that feeling….

The lights in the arena are out before the “Scarecrow” mask appears on the giant LED screen. We then get a shot from outside The Sphere and the entire building has been taken over by the “Scarecrow”….

JT: This is haunting….

The lights finally come back up and Clarke James, clad in mask, is standing in the middle of McManus and Fanatic…

RJ: Any chance that either McManus or Fanatic leave here tonight with the European Championship?

JT: What do you think? Parasite Killers are here for one reason and that is to ensure championship gold for the leader of Exodus…

RJ: Clarke James, despite his incredible and violent streak, has not had the kind of success he was expecting or demanded since beginning his campaign of terror….the whole reason his feud with JJ Johnson began was because JJ did not immediately crown him world champion…..since that initial loss to Uryu Ishida last June he has not come too close to making that happen…

JT: Which was the reason behind his alliance with Alex Walker…..Walker gets the company and CJ gets the world title….

RJ: So you think he’d settle for the European?

JT: Doubtful but if I know Alex Walker and Clarke James this will just be the beginning…..win this title and then collect the lot…..they’ll look to decimate Reilly quickly and move on to the “Gateway”….Clarke James and Exodus could very well end the evening with the world title they have so dearly coveted….

RJ: And don’t think Alex Walker didn’t play a part in that….he accepted Blue Dragon’s decision but I wouldn’t be surprised if he influenced it…..he allowed Blue Dragon to put the 6CW Championship in the shop window for the entire roster….he knew exactly what he was doing….

James climbs up on the apron and he glares at the fan section before slowly removing the “Scarecrow” mask. James McManus and Fanatic have already climbed up inside of the ring…

JT: Perhaps the most one sided championship match in 6CWF history….as good as Reilly is and lord knows the European Champion has been on an incredible run of form, how can anyone really expect him to win here?

RJ: I don’t think anyone, realistically, does….for me, this is more about how can Reilly survive and still compete later…he doesn’t even have Oliver Keane here with him…

JT: Yet another victim of Clarke James….the list is endless…

RJ: Reilly truly is all alone here this evening….

“Broken dreams” then hits the airwaves and although some of the crowd boo there are a lot of cheers ringing out for the arrival of the European Champion. Reilly appears through the shadows, his title belt slung over his shoulder, and he stares across toward the ring and his opposition….

JT: Guaranteed Hall of Famer, 2x 6CW Champion, Reilly’s CV is decorated with accolade after accolade….but this may very well be the best version of him we have ever seen…

RJ: This man lost 7 straight when he re-signed to 6CWF last year….he has gone 11-2 since September….that is outrageous….

JT: He has looked untouchable in recent weeks, bagging the #30 for tonight’s “Gateway to Glory” by pinning Clarke James in the middle of the ring….

RJ: But tonight Clarke James has backup, one of the most formidable teams in the land…..Daniel Reilly, as good as he is, is facing insurmountable odds, in my opinion…

JT: I’m inclined to agree but I know that won’t stop Reilly from fighting for his life….he won’t run…

RJ: No he won’t….and despite, usually, having the fans against him you can hear the cheers….the Las Vegas crowd want to see Reilly pull off the impossible tonight…

JT: I’d go on record to say it would be one of, if not the, biggest upsets in the history of this company…..Reilly is facing a former world champion and former multi-time tag team champions in a 3 on 1 handicap situation….

Reilly just continues to stand in the aisle and stare at the ring as Clarke James stares back at him. James McManus is goading and taunting Reilly to get in the ring and fight…

RJ: Remember it is also tornado rules as well as “No holds barred”…..the champion has a mountain to climb before the bell even sounds…

The Fanatic suddenly climbs over the ropes and drops down to the outside so that he can engage with Reilly on the outside. He looks for a huge right hand but Reilly dodges it and kicks him in the stomach before dropping the big man with a snap DDT on the arena floor….James McManus is out on the apron now and runs across before jumping off but Reilly leaps into the air and greets him with a midair dropkick, sparking a huge noise from the audience…

JT: Reilly just cleaned out The Parasite Killers with ease….focus now turns to Clarke James…

RJ: This is the showdown we came for….

CJ’s black eyes remain focused on Reilly as the champion moves around the outside of the ring and then clambers up on the apron. They remain locked on target as Reilly steps through the ropes and they begin to exchange with punches….

JT: Clarke James shouldn’t be out here with PK, as good as they are, because himself vs Reilly is a phenomenal match up….

RJ: A PPV headliner…..

CJ drives a knee into Reilly’s gut and then looks for an Irish whip but Reilly twists inside and then counters with an inverted headlock backbreaker (ala Randy Orton). Reilly rolls over on his belly now and stalks CJ….

JT: Reilly knows he has to pounce quickly…..RKO!

James puts the brakes on and he shoves Reilly away from him which sends him into the path of the returning Fanatic, who drops the champion with a huge boot to the face. Fanatic lets Reilly back up and uncorks an uppercut under his chin before whipping him off the ropes. He looks to press him up but Reilly jumps out the side….

RJ: RKO….GOT ALL OF IT!

Cheers ring out as Reilly drops the big man with the leaping cutter and hooks the leg……………1…………………..2……………CJ stomps on the back of Reilly’s neck to break the count. James rags Reilly up and slings him into the corner before running in for a splash but eats two feet to the mouth…..James staggers back as Reilly lifts himself onto the ropes and then leaps off with a hurricanrana takedown…..the champion begins getting up as McManus runs back in and drives a “knee trembler” into his skull………………………1……………………….2………………Reilly kicks out!

JT: I wonder what the reaction would have been there….because James McManus would have been the European Champion….

McManus stomps on the chest of Reilly and then drops down to land furious forearms and punches to the head. He drags him back up and connects with a snap suplex as Clarke James gets back up on his feet…

RJ: This is another issue here for Reilly with the “tornado rules”…..because his opponents can come at him from all angles….

CJ motions for McManus to get Reilly to his feet and they work in tandem to whip him off the ropes and drop him with a double back elbow as he returns…

JT: This contest is also no holds barred….how long until that becomes a factor?

Reilly holds his jaw as he drags himself up in the corner and McManus drives into him with a heavy clothesline before whipping him out into a spinebuster from Clarke James……CJ just kneels there now as McManus clambers from the ring to grab a steel chair…

RJ: Well there you go, Jeff….merely minutes in and Exodus are tooling up….

JT: This is nothing more than a hit job on Daniel Reilly….

McManus turns the chair on its edge and waits for Reilly to stagger up before he drives the weapon into his ribs. Reilly drops on his knees as McManus drops the chair on the mat….James stares down at Reilly now before grabbing his face…

RJ: Any enemy of Alex Walker is an enemy of Clarke James, you would imagine….that is how this has all come about…

JT: I still believe this is a mistake on the part of Exodus…..Daniel Reilly was not their target and they have deviated from the plan….

RJ: FAITHLESS!

James drags Reilly up now and looks to nail the “rock bottom” on the steel chair but Reilly slams furious elbows into CJ’s temple until he releases. McManus charges forward but Reilly sidesteps and sends him into the turnbuckle before dragging him back around and launches him into James….they collide heads and CJ is sent through the ropes to the outside….

JT: Daniel Reilly has got some serious fight in him….

McManus is dazed from the impact and stumbles back around into a crunching boot to the gut. Reilly flips him up and nails a fallout neckbreaker before heading for the corner….

RJ: FROGSPLASH!

Reilly comes flying off the top and smashes down onto the chest of McManus before hooking the legs………………1……………………………..2………………………3!

JT: FANATIC!

The big man is up on the outside and he drags Reilly under the bottom rope before the three count. He then seizes him by the throat and lifts him into a chokeslam…

RJ: Daniel Reilly is a warrior…

Reilly is lifted airborne but reaches out with his feet and lands on the apron before smashing a kick into Fanatic’s face to send him stumbling away. Reilly then runs across the apron and jumps off with a “Lou Thesz” press takedown which slams Fanatic backward into the ringside barrier….Reilly lands some more punches for good measure before he gets back up and heads to the ring…

JT: We know Reilly is one of the best, for over a decade he has operated at the top tier….but I never expected this….he is taking the fight to Exodus and winning….

Reilly rolls back in and he grabs the steel chair off the canvass. He beckons McManus up and waits for him to rise……CRACK……DING!

RJ: DEAR LORD!

The chair smashes across McManus’ skull and leaves him in a battered heap on the canvass but then Reilly turns around and is cracked in the face with the ringbell by Clarke James…

JT: Clarke James is about to win the European Championship…

RJ: ALEX WALKER MUST BE TEARING OUT HIS HAIR!

There are cheers all around as Reilly just about pushes his shoulder off the mat before the three count can be completed. Clarke James’ dark eyes bore into the referee now…

JT: Clarke James does not look impressed…

RJ: That is likely to just make things more dangerous for the European Champion….

Clarke James rises to his feet and he looks down at Reilly before kicking the ring bell to the outside. He then grabs the steel chair instead and he turns it on its edge…

JT: You’ll break his damn neck….

James looks ready to drive the chair down into Reilly’s neck but, by instinct alone, the European Champion swipes James’ legs and pulls him to the ground before grabbing hold of his ankle….

RJ: Anklelock applied….this move took Reilly to the mountain top…

James grunts in pain as Reilly bends his ankle at an impossible angle. The leader of Exodus makes a break for the ropes but Reilly drags him back to the centre and ups the ante…

JT: Now Alex Walker must be getting twitchy….Daniel Reilly may snap Clarke James’ ankle into bits here….

The referee is asking CJ if he wants to quit but he is adamant that he won’t. He is clawing at his own head, trying to fight the pain, before he makes another attempt for the ropes…

RJ: James is desperate here….despite his exterior, he is in agony….

The crowd are up in anticipation of a potential tap out when The Fanatic returns and clatters Reilly from behind. He quickly drags the champion up and flips him into the air…

JT: TOTAL ELIMINATION!

The ring is shook as Fanatic releases Reilly into the sickening jackknife powerbomb….he looks over at CJ, clutching at his ankle, and then walks over and drags him into the cover…

RJ: Now you can see the plan….this is about getting that belt on Clarke James…

JT: I’m not sure James McManus got the memo earlier…

RJ: KICKED OUT AGAIN….

JT: The Sphere is on its feet…..

The applause and cheers ring all around as the referee once again signals that it was a two count. Clarke James spits in disgust before holding out his hand for Fanatic to pull him up. They look down on Reilly before CJ signals that he wants him taken care of….

RJ: Clarke James is directing traffic here and the goal is the demise of Daniel Reilly….

JT: May be close to achieving said goal….

Fanatic merely inclines his head before he pulls Reilly to his feet and wraps both hands around his neck. He stares into the champion’s eyes and prepares to lift him…

RJ: CHOKE….

Reilly blasts a vicious kick right between Fanatic’s legs and drills him into the canvass with a DDT. James breaks forward and swings at punt kick at the skull of Reilly but he drags his head out of the way at the final second and then leaps into the air….

JT: RKO!

RJ: Nailed him….forget it…

1………………………………..2……………………….James McManus dives into shot and breaks the cover!

JT: James McManus just barely keeping this match alive…..it was a second away….

McManus slams a discus forearm into Reilly’s jaw as he stands and then looks for an irish whip but Reilly swivels inside and pulls McManus toward him…

RJ: RK….BACKSLIDE!

McManus counters the cutter into a pinning combo………………….1…………………..2……………shoulder up!

JT: I’m telling you, James McManus is trying to win the title…..Fanatic may be following specific instructions but McManus has eyes for the gold….

They scramble back up and Reilly looks for a leapfrog but is caught and smashed into the mat by a powerbomb…..McManus presses on top (ala Gunther)……………..1…………………2……………..shoulder up again!

RJ: Clarke James is currently incapacitated and perhaps a good job because I’m not sure he’d take kindly to what McManus is attempting here….

McManus heads for the corner now and he scales the ropes. He waits for Reilly to rise and then launches off on top of him with a crossbody……………………..1………………….2…………..Reilly rolls out of the cover and grabs McManus’ ankle…

JT: James McManus’ turn to feel the agony of this submission…..

RJ: And he has nobody ready to jump to his aid….this could be the end…

McManus is yelling in agony and trying to drag himself to the ropes but he gets nowhere near. Reilly is repeatedly ripping and tearing at the ankle…

JT: McManus is as tough as they come but not even he can withstand too much of this….that bone will shatter…

RJ: And Reilly will not hesitate to make that happen…

McManus’ head is slumped into the canvass and his muffled cries of pain can be heard as the referee is asking him if he wants to quit…..McManus raises his hand and the camera focuses on how much it is shaking….

JT: He can’t take much more….he’s gonna tap…

The crowd groan as Clarke James is back up and he drives the edge of the steel chair into Reilly’s spine, dropping him to a knee. Fanatic is up on the outside as James drags the champion up and slings him to the outside near the announce area…

RJ: They’re heading over here, it would seem….

JT: Clarke James had enough of Daniel Reilly’s games….

James is out of the ring now and launching the coverings off the Japanese announce desk. The commentators are fleeing for safety as CJ indicates to Fanatic that he wants Reilly put through the table…

RJ: Daniel Reilly has survived thus far but we are now seeing what he is facing….3 on 1…

JT: He deserves so much credit but I feel he was always running into this trouble at some point….

Fanatic has dragged Reilly to his feet and he repeatedly bounces his head off the table (five times) and leaves him slumped there. James McManus is on the outside now, hobbling on his ankle, as James barks some more orders…

RJ: McManus not looking impressed by CJ’s tone…

JT: He’ll have to grin and bear it if he wants to keep on Alex Walker’s payroll…..

Fanatic nods at his tag partner and then climbs up on the announce desk. McManus follows and they pull Reilly up with them. Fanatic then lifts Reilly on his shoulders….

RJ: We’ve seen this before……PARASITE KILLER!!!

JT: GOOD GOD….

Crowd: Holy (beep) x10

Clarke James has a dark, evil, smile on his face as The Parasite Killers deliver their version of the “Magic Killer” on the table which obliterates Reilly through it. McManus is rubbing his ankle, damaged even more by the fall, as Fanatic just sits there and looks up at Clarke James. CJ then clicks his fingers and wants Reilly thrown back in the ring…

RJ: James seems right at home giving out these orders….

JT: He learned from the best, he was Hero’s disciple for years…

Fanatic uses his strength to drag the deadweight of Reilly up and throws him back into the ring. Clarke James is soon to follow and drops to his knees for the cover….

RJ: I’d say Daniel Reilly’s reign as European Champion is close to a conclusion…

JT: NOT JUST YET….NOT JUST NOW….DANIEL REILLY FIGHTS ON….

Clarke James is immediately leaning from the ring and yelling at McManus to “get your a55 in here”. McManus is slow moving on his ankle but he rolls inside as Fanatic starts dragging Reilly up again…

RJ: Clarke James wants Reilly decimated and destroyed…

JT: He’s getting his wish….and somewhere in the back Alex Walker is enjoying every moment….

RJ: In the company of McManus’ wife….BOOT OF DOOM!

McManus is indicating to James that his ankle is hurting but CJ just glares at him. McManus looks annoyed but then runs the ropes and leaps into the huge kick to Reilly’s head, spinning him off Fanatic’s shoulders….McManus is clutching at his ankle again….

JT: I’m not sure James McManus is in great shape here….

RJ: Clarke James doesn’t seem to care as long as he gets what he wants…

James fixes his gaze on Reilly now, who is in a bad way on the canvass, and he goes into full stalk mode. The European Champion is all at sea as he tries to get back onto his feet…

JT: Clarke James knows there is practically nothing left in Daniel Reilly’s tank here….

RJ: I’m not sure just beating Reilly is enough though….not for Clarke James and certainly not for Alex Walker……FAITHLESS!

JT: Call it a night…

The audience are booing as James lifts Reilly off the canvass and thunders him down with the “rock bottom”. The referee begins to drop down to make the cover but Clarke James seems to have a different idea…

RJ: You’ve got the title won, he isn’t kicking out…..what on earth else can you do to this man?

JT: Like you said, RJ, they didn’t come here tonight to just win….this is about sending a very clear message….

James rolls under the bottom rope now and he grabs his jacket and then produces the railroad “spike” from inside, sparking huge boos from the crowd. James’ demeanour has changed now and he seems much more energised….

RJ: This is becoming the staple of Clarke James….that goddamn spike…

JT: First it was the eyes, just ask Marshall Murdoch & Perfect Jack….but now its this heinous spike and we have seen the damage he can do with it…..Oliver Keane was the latest victim and he still isn’t here….

RJ: I really don’t like how this is going now…

Fanatic and McManus have dragged Reilly up now and they pin his arms as James clambers back into the ring. The leader of Exodus steps forward and he presses the point of the spike into Reilly’s cheek and runs it down….

JT: Look how sharp that is, even that contact has produced blood….

RJ: I dread to think what they may do here….

JT: Not the eyes, please lord…

CJ lifts the spike again and he points it toward Reilly’s eye but then, surprisingly, he shakes his head and throws the spike down. James then picks up the steel chair off the mat and he wraps it around Reilly’s head, encasing his skull between the seat opening….

RJ: I don’t think I can watch this….

JT: He’s going to take a leaf out of his former leader’s playbook…………..ENCORE!

*Crowd ultra pop

RJ: HE’S HERE….OH MY GOD….CLARKE JAMES JUST FROZE IN HIS GODDAMN TRACKS!

JT: COMETH THE HOUR, COMETH THE MAN……LISTEN TO THIS NOISE….

“Here comes the boom” rips through the airwaves and every single fan inside The Sphere rises to their feet as JJ Johnson walks out from backstage….JJ has a reignited fire burning in his eyes, dressed in a white, sleeveless, hooded top and black pants. The co-owner of 6CWF begins walking across the aisle toward the ring…

RJ: Clarke James and Alex Walker’s a55 just dropped…they thought JJ was gone, they thought they’d got rid of him…

JT: Well take a long goddamn look because JJ Johnson is live in Las Vegas and I have rarely heard an ovation to top what we are witnessing right here and now….

Clarke James has turned away from Daniel Reilly and he has an ugly grimace on his face, his eye twitching, as he fixes his gaze on JJ….they continue to stare at each other and then CJ snaps his fingers and indicates for PK to go and fight Johnson…

RJ: Clarke James is rallying the troops….he has no intention of fighting JJ Johnson unless he really has to….

JT: McManus can barely walk but he’s being sent into the fire first….

McManus topples through the ropes and rushes forward, as quickly as he can, for a clothesline but JJ ducks it with ease and unleashes a punch combo to the body and head and then kicks McManus in the stomach….

RJ: ACCESS ALL AREAS!

The stunner lands and sends McManus bouncing across the floor, back toward the ring. Fanatic is now clambering over the top rope and dropping down to the outside…

JT: The big man stepping into battle…..OH MY GOD!

The cheers go up another notch as a huge form runs in from the side and spears The Fanatic into the steel steps….

RJ: THE SAINT…..CLARKE JAMES IS BEING HAUNTED BY THE GHOSTS OF CHRISTMAS PAST….

JT: THE FALLEN HAVE RISEN AGAIN…..

The Saint climbs to his feet now and he is glaring at Clarke James as he walks over to take his place by JJ Johnson’s side. The two legends and James continue with their staredown…

RJ: Fight or flight, Clarke….none of your bull(beep) games are going to work now….

JT: Clarke James’ is staring down the barrel….

Suddenly a blinding white light seems to take over the entire Sphere as a message appears on the LED screen behind the ring…

“DIES RATIONIS ADVENIT”

RJ: Do the honours, Jeff…

JT: The Day of Reckoning has arrived….you’re damn right….

“From sound to silence” by Dynazty booms through the airwaves now. The whole arena waits in anticipation and Clarke James takes a step toward the ropes, where JJ and Saint are now smiling…..a huge roar comes from the crowd now as a figure lowers from the rafters (ala Sting)….

RJ: THE COALITION IS RE-UNITED……TURN AROUND, CLARKE, AND FACE YOU’RE JUDGEMENT…..

JT: ACER IS HERE…..JAMES IS DONE….

Acer unclips himself from the holster and he beckons Clarke James around before booting him in the stomach and crushes him with the powerbomb piledriver (Barry White Driver)…..every single fan is bouncing as Acer drags Daniel Reilly up and throws him on top of James…

Michael Bird: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner…..AND STILL 6CWF EUROPEAN CHAMPION…………Daaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeellllllllllllll Reeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiilllllllllllllllyyyyyyyy!

RJ: Reilly retains….3 on 1 disadvantage but he is leaving with his gold….

JT: Thanks to the re-united Coalition…..JJ Johnson, Acer & The Saint are here and they just exacted some revenge and justice on the man who has plagued their lives for the last twelve months….

RJ: What a moment this is, the landscape of 6CWF just got struck by a seismic shift….JJ Johnson, co-owner of 6CWF, is back and he did not come alone…

JT: He brought two of the baddest to ever do it….and not only that, two men with a vendetta and a score to settle….Clarke James, Alex Walker…Exodus…..How you feeling now?

RJ: I cannot believe we still have the Gateway to Glory to come….after this….this moment right here…

JJ Johnson, The Saint and Acer all climb up into the ring now and they turn to the crowd before raising an arm into the air…

JT: The Coalition Salute….and this sell-out crowd are on their feet…if Alex Walker thought he had problems, he may want to re-evaluate just how much….because his grand plan hasn’t worked….JJ Johnson is here and you can guarantee he came for his company….

RJ: He came for 6CWF and he came to put his enemies on notice…..all three of these men look in incredible shape….they look like they did when they walked in together back in 2008, this is insanity….what a moment this is….

JT: Penny for the thoughts of all involved with Exodus…..penny for the thoughts of everyone in the back, staff and performers….we are moments away from the “Gateway to Glory”, one of the biggest matches on the calendar….6CW Championship will be on the line….and JJ Johnson storms back in here to blow the roof of this place….the rightful owner and leader of this company is back…..what does the future hold?

RJ: I’m pretty sure JJ will address that as soon as practicable……….he didn’t come back for nothing and he didn’t bring Acer and The Saint with him just for a reunion…..these guys mean business….

JT: Is Alex Walker still in the building? I’m hearing reports from the back…

RJ: We’ll head there in just a moment….but let’s just savour this right here for a second…

We get a shot of McManus, Fanatic and Clarke James in heaps around the arena floor before a shot of Daniel Reilly in the aisleway. Reilly looks back at the carnage and smirks, blood running down his cheek, and he slings the European Championship over his shoulder before walking backstage…..the cameras then switch back to the ring to focus on JJ, Acer and The Saint. The crowd are chanting their names and welcoming them back as the three members of The Coalition continue to bask in the adulation of their supporters…

*We immediately head backstage as we see a car speeding off and Tim Allen is on hand to tell us that Alex Walker and Jenny McManus have just fled the building. There is huge hype and applause from the backstage personnel as JJ Johnson, Acer & The Saint walk into the lobby. JJ holds up a hand to everyone and ensures that things are about to change around here. He says tonight is all about the Gateway to Glory and 6CWF doing big business but next week on Proving Grounds he will be addressing the state of play and most importantly putting Alex Walker and Exodus in their rightful place; six feet deep.

*We get our final hype now for The Gateway to Glory match. It starts with Uryu Ishida, readjusting the bandaged on his battered frame, and then it switches to Edward Plague and GazzyD. The 6CW Championship is resting in Plague's lap whilst Gazzy is staring at his gold. Plague is chanting, his eyes closed, and is unaware of Gazzy's gaze. We see Mike Hill, Jerome Dubois and then Robin Reborn being tended to by medics whilst he is livestreaming himself. The crowd roar as we watch Cobra doing some last minute prep.

Emmy kisses Liam Wood on the cheek and we then see Genesis getting ready before Chris Patricks and Max Adamson touch knuckles. We see Daniel Reilly patting his retained European Championship before we see Clarke James smashing Alex Walker's office to pieces. Anthony Grace is looking at pictures of his family before we see Geoff Steel signing pictures for fans and doing a "Make a Wish" commitment. Scott Harris is training and Dicey Reilly is taking a sip of beer.

JJ Johnson is then shown juggling with three "Gateway to Glory" balls and he then offers them in turn to Acer and The Saint before we get a shot of Blue Dragon climbing out of the SUV outside the building. Dragon stares up The Sphere and nods his head before striding inside.

RJ: Jeff….are you ready?

JT: Calm down, Triple H…..but yes, sir, yes I am….the atmosphere is at fever pitch….the electricity in the air is paramount…

RJ: We are on the cusp of my favourite match on the calendar…..30 men will vie for the opportunity to leave tonight as the 6CW World Champion…

JT: An added incentive to an already huge opportunity….usually the “Gateway” would be for the opportunity to headline Night of Glory and challenge for a world title of your choosing….but the twist this year came in the surprise package of Blue Dragon cashing in his “Key to the Kingdom” opportunity to ensure the title was on the line….

RJ: Title on the line for all thirty men….so the entire landscape of 6CWF has been blown wide open…even for any superstar down on their luck, all of a sudden they have been granted the opportunity of a lifetime….someone has to leave here tonight as the 6CW Champion….

JT: Another huge factor in this is the current champion, GazzyD….because just twenty four hours ago he competed in and won an hellacious TLC match against Uryu Ishida…..there is no way on this earth that Gazzy is in shape to defend his belt tonight….

RJ: Even without competing last night I wouldn’t like his chances, it has never been done before….the world title has been on the line once before in this match….back in 2014, Nate Nack entered as champ but he did not leave with the gold….

JT: No, Max Adamson did…..Max, as far as we know, has entered himself in tonight’s match….ten years on, can history repeat itself?

RJ: Just like Gazzy, potentially Uryu….I have to wonder if any of the men who competed in last night’s War Games match will be in any condition to win or even compete here tonight…

JT: Rex Adamson is supposed to be coming in number one, I have no idea what the kid will have in the tank…

RJ: Heck anyone who has competed in the last 24 hours, the brutal matches we have seen earlier tonight…at least half of the roster have been to war already…

JT: This is what is going to separate the legends from the rest of the playing field…who wants it the most? Take it away, Michael Bird…

The crowd are bouncing as Michael Bird, dressed in an expensive suit, takes to the ring with a huge grin on his face. He twirls the microphone in his hands…

Michael Bird: Ladies and gentlemen it is now time for the GATEWAY TO GLORY MATCH!

*Crowd pop

MB: In this match, the two superstars who drew numbers one and two will begin the contest….they will be joined by a new participant every two minutes until all thirty men have entered the bout. Elimination occurs when a participant is thrown over the top rope and BOTH feet must touch the floor….the last man standing will be declared victorious he shall be crowned the 6CW WORLD CHAMPION!

*Another huge roar from the audience

JT: I have goosebumps, RJ….this is it….tonight has already been historic…6CWF is on fire and we are about to turn it up even more…

RJ: The Gateway to Glory starts now….

“Typhoons” blasts through the airwaves and there is a huge reaction, mixed, from the audience. Slowly, Rex Adamson walks out from the backstage area…

JT: You can see the cuts and bruises, the war wounds from that incredible match last night…..but none of that will deter Rex Adamson….this young kid has aspirations of going to the very top…

RJ: That’s why he joined Genesis, he believed they were the vessel to lead him to the promised land….

JT: I think Rex is going to the mountain top, regardless…..ten months into his professional career and he is still yet to taste a pinfall or submission defeat….

RJ: The only defeat he has on his ledger is a DQ loss when challenging for the world title against Uryu Ishida….

JT: That opportunity taken away from him by Jerome Dubois….but I don’t think it will keep him down….I have never seen a rookie like this, never in all my career….

RJ: I witnessed the rise of Tyson Armstrong (who definitely wasn’t JJ)….I watched him go unbeaten for over six months and end his rookie year by becoming 6WF World Champion…..I wasn’t sure I would ever seen anything like that again but Rex Adamson may be a whole different level to even that…..he is a sublime mix of power and athleticism…..

JT: But can he do the near impossible? In the history of 6CW & 6WF we have seen two men go coast to coast and win….JJ Johnson & Robin Reborn…..it can be done but it takes something special….

RJ: Two amazing superstars….but neither of them had competed in War Games 24 hours earlier….Rex cannot be anywhere near 100% here…

Rex is banged up but the intensity in his eyes is burning. He lets out a roar as he walks down to the ring and leaps up on the apron (ala Brock Lesnar). Rex is pacing back and forth…

JT: Rex Adamson is ready for battle…..

RJ: But who will be joining him at the start of this match?

JT: OH WOW!

“Time stands still” echoes out to another thunderous ovation. Rex has a wry smile on his face as Uryu Ishida appears…

RJ: So many factors to consider here…

JT: Uryu Ishida was the 2018 Gateway to Glory winner….last man he eliminated that night was Max Adamson…..Uryu, however, is the only man who never got his world title shot off the back of winning this match because 6CW shut down for a hiatus not long after…

RJ: Uryu was also in action last night and was unsuccessful in his attempt to regain the 6CW World Championship from GazzyD, thanks to Edward Plague….Uryu was brutalised beyond belief in that contest, I can hardly believe he is walking out here…

JT: We know Uryu is as tough as they come, he’s proven that over the last few years….and this is another opportunity to take the 6CW Championship back….

RJ: Two shots in two days….

JT: Also factor in that Rex Adamson’s only defeat, albeit by DQ, came in a world title challenge against Uryu Ishida….almost ironic that they meet again here tonight as the opening 2 of the 2024 Gateway to Glory….

Uryu looks in worse shape than Rex, his body bandaged and his face sporting a number of welts and bruises, but he wastes no time in making his way to the ring. The crowd are applauding as Ishida pulls himself up onto the apron and steps through the ropes….

RJ: These two men will have two minutes for the next superstar enters the match….

JT: The soundest strategy would be to try and eliminate your opponent as quickly as possible and conserve energy….but that is easier said than done, for sure…

RJ: This is it folks….every single fan in The Sphere is on their feet….here we go!

The bell sounds and the crowd cheer as Uryu and Rex circle one another. They continue to dance before finally engaging in a lockup. Rex quickly takes Ishida’s back and lifts him into the air before trying to carry him toward the ropes…

JT: He’s going to try and dump him….

Uryu is kicking and fighting. He gets one foot on the ropes and manages to push backward so that he and Rex tumble across the canvass. They get back up and Uryu dodges a spinning lariat and runs the ropes before leaping back with a flying headscissors….Rex goes flying across the ring and crashes into the ropes….

RJ: Rex in trouble all of a sudden….

Uryu rushes over and grabs Rex’s legs, trying to push him over the ropes, but Adamson clings on. Rex turns his body and he slams elbows down into the back of the neck until Uryu stumbles away from him….Rex then charges forward….

JT: GO-NICE DROP TOE HOLD COUNTER!

Uryu takes Rex down as he runs forward and then he lands a standing moonsault. Ishida holds his ribs after the impact, however…

RJ: Every move is a problem for Uryu and you can see it….the bumps he took last night where potentially career-altering….

Rex starts to get back up, toward the ropes, and Uryu then launches in with an attempted superkick to the back of the skull but Rex does manages to duck it this time and runs the ropes….

JT: GORE….GORE….GORE!

RJ: If Uryu’s ribs weren’t broke already, they will be now…

Rex almost takes Uryu out of his boots with the spear but the former world champion rolls under the bottom rope to the outside before he can be eliminated. Rex gets to his knee now and looks frustrated…

JT: I’m not sure Uryu will be coming back….might be as good as an elimination….

RJ: Officially, however, Ishida is still in the match….and we are counting down to number three….

Crowd: 5……………….4……………………..3………………….2…………………1!

*Claxon sounds

RJ: Oh now this is interesting….

JT: Mike Hill is in at #3…..at one point he seemed to have taken Rex Adamson under his wing before Rex decided to join Genesis….

RJ: These two men have had their issues over the last twelve months…..Mike Hill isn’t in the best run of form right now, as we said earlier, that means nothing tonight….because the world title is on the line here and someone has to leave with the gold….this is the match and this is the night when fortune certainly will favour the brave…

Hill leaps over the ropes as Rex runs forward but MH dodges his attempted clothesline and then nails a pele kick. Rex sways as Hill gets back up and nails a stand-up enzeguiri to the temple…..Rex staggers into the ropes now and Hill grabs his legs…

RJ: Even at less than 100% this would be a huge upset right here at Day of Reckoning….

Rex is halfway over the ropes but he manages to push himself back up and then swings his head around into the face of Mike Hill. Rex storms forward and knocks Hill down with a massive shoulder block before ushering him back up into a huge vertical suplex…

JT: Comparisons are likely to be drawn…..Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar….those are the kinds of vibes I see in Rex Adamson, this is an explosive freak of nature….

Rex beckons Hill back to his feet once more and he starts to bench press him into the air. Hill, though, is able to drop off the back and land a dropkick to the back which sends Rex staggering toward the ropes again. Hill gets up and charges forward….

RJ: HILL IS GOING….

Rex drops his shoulder and uses Hill’s momentum to backdrop him over the ropes. Hill, however, is clinging on for dear life and is able to “skin the cat”….

JT: Tremendous upper body strength there from Mike Hill….

Rex tries to rush over but Hill is already back over the ropes and wraps his legs around Rex’s neck before twisting out into a headscissors takedown. Hill gets back up and he lifts Rex into an inverted atomic drop before felling him with a spinning heel kick…..Hill follows up with a lionsault now, sparking cheers from the audience…

RJ: Mike Hill is a goddamn hall of fame talent and you are seeing that here this evening….

JT: He’s also benefitting from being super fresh….he hasn’t competed for a couple of weeks…

Hill raises a hand to some of the cheering fans before he turns his attention back to Rex Adamson. Rex is clutching at his body as he begins to rise and then Hill seizes his head…

RJ: OVER THE HILL!

Hill looks to backflip into “diamond dust” but Rex captures him on his shoulders and then runs him into a huge powerslam. Rex stands now and drags Hill up before flipping him into the air and spins him into a huge sit-down powerbomb…..

JT: I just don’t even know how this kid does half the things he does….it is unreal….

Rex circles the ring now before he decides to take a knee in the corner and crouches. He has his eyes firmly set on Mike Hill, waiting for him to rise…

RJ: Rex Adamson looking for his second “Gore” of the night…

JT: Mike Hill has no idea that he is in the crosshairs….

RJ: He’ll know in a minute….

*Claxon sounds

JT: Big business at number 4….The Man of War is here….

RJ: Earlier tonight we saw Ojore crash, head-first, through a steel cage and break the wall….I didn’t think he’d pass the concussion test…

JT: I don’t think anyone would have dared tell him that he couldn’t come out here and compete here tonight….

RJ: The fact this man broke a steel cage with his head should be enough to frighten anyone….let alone the fact he is one of the most dominant and formidable Xtreme Champions in history….

JT: He’s going straight back to his roots….

Rex has turned away from Hill now and is watching as Ojore comes storming down the ramp toward the ring. Ojore immediately drags up the ring apron and starts to throw a plethora of weapons inside….

RJ: We really are taking a trip down memory lane here….

The Ugandan then clambers through the ropes with a metal baking tray and he looks to smash it off Rex’s head but he ducks underneath it and he then shows amazing strength to lift Ojore off his feet into a bodyslam….

JT: REX ADAMSON….WHAT MORE DO YOU SAY!

CRACK!.....Mike Hill is back up and he grabs a trash can. He throws it to Rex and Rex catches it before Hill dropkicks it into his face. Hill then drags Rex up and he nails a faceplant suplex onto of the can, crushing it upon impact…

RJ: The “Gateway to Glory” is turning Xtreme….

Hill gets back up but is immediately lifted into a one-handed spinebuster (ala Bobby Lashley) from Ojore that crushes him down on top of a wooden pallet, snapping it in half….

JT: That was devastating…those pallets are not supposed to break like that….

Ojore lets out a roar now as he grabs a steel chair off the canvass and he beckons Rex Adamson to his feet before he lashes it across his spine…..Rex falls down on his knees as Ojore dumps the chair in front of him and drags him up….

RJ: Ojore looking for that World’s Strongest Slam….

Rex is fighting and clawing until he somehow manages to scramble over the shoulders and behind Ojore. He then runs the ropes for more momentum but returns into a huge battering ram headbutt to the chest…..Ojore drags Rex up now and this time he is successful in nailing the “World’s Strongest Slam” on the steel chair…

JT: Devastating impact…..Rex Adamson’s race may be run…

RJ: If you combine that with the damage he took last night during War Games….

Mike Hill is staggering back up as Ojore wraps both hands around his throat. He is just looking to choke the life out of Hill but the former world champion stomps on his knee to secure his release and then runs the ropes, returning with a flying low dropkick to both knees….Ojore is on all fours as Hill grabs the steel chair off the mat and he nails a standing shooting star, smashing the chair down on Ojore’s spine as he lands…

JT: Crushing impact…..I don’t think we have ever seen anything like this in the Gateway before…..

Hill staggers back to his feet again and watches Ojore begin to rise. Hill picks the weapon up again and he launches it (ECW style) against his skull to force him onto his back in the middle of the ring. Hill then heads for the corner and climbs up top….

RJ: Big risk in a match like this to willingly climb onto the top rope…

JT: Mike Hill never shied away from a risk…..NEXT BIG MOVE!

The corkscrew attack lands from on high as Hill smashes down onto Ojore. He then begins trying to drag the big man up for a potential elimination….

RJ: I admire Hill’s attempt here but I think he’s going to have some serious issues getting the big man up and over the top rope…

Hill somehow gets Ojore onto his knees but the big man has recovered enough to shove him backwards into the corner. Ojore lets out a roar as he stands up now and sprints in for a huge splash but Hill throws himself out of the firing line at the final second….Ojore is swaying as he stumbles out and Hill grabs his head and uses the turnbuckle for momentum….

JT: OVER THE HILL….HE GOT THE BIG MAN DOWN!

RJ: In a normal match I’d be commending him but that is not going to help his cause here at all….

Hill kneels there with a smile on his face but then realises he is back to square one. He starts to get up once more and he looks over at Rex, who is recovering, and signals for him to come and help…

JT: Sometimes you need a temporary alliance in a match like this….these two have worked together before….

Crowd: FIVE…..FOUR…..THREE…….TWO…..ONE!

RJ: THE GOLDEN ONE IS BACK…..HE’S HERE….O’CALLAGHAN IS IN THE GATEWAY TO GLORY!

JT: IT’S BEEN MONTHS BUT WILL YOU LISTEN TO THIS NOISE…..THE SPHERE IS BOUNCING!

There is a blast of golden pyros as O’Callaghan, dressed in a designer fur coat, walks out in front of the fans and begins to conduct them as they hum his theme tune….he bows to them and smirks at their roar before removing his coat….

RJ: And OC is jacked….he’s been putting in the hours for sure….

JT: At one point he was expected to be the biggest star in 6CW……all the tools to be a megastar in this industry….is tonight the night when O’Callaghan finally reaches the pinnacle?

Rex Adamson and Mike Hill have stopped and are looking to the outside as OC smirks at them and then climbs up on the apron. Ojore is back up now and slams into Hill from behind, sending him through the middle ropes to the outside….Ojore follows him as OC steps in to face off with Rex…

RJ: Mike Hill has not been eliminated here, folks….you have to go over the top rope…

JT: Look at this showdown….

OC and Rex glare at one another for a long moment and then they begin to tee off with huge right hands in the middle of the ring. Rex starts to win out with his power but then OC blocks and knees Rex in the stomach before unleashing hard chops to the chest. He looks for an Irish whip now but Rex turns inside and drags O’Callaghan into him…

RJ: Belly to belly….REVERSED!

OC blocks the overhead throw and then instead he picks Rex off the floor and drills him with a belly to belly slam (ala Ken Shamrock). OC rises now and smiles as the audience hum his theme tune once more….

JT: The Gateway always throws up a surprise or two and the return of O’Callaghan is certainly that…

RJ: The hell is Ojore doing?

Ojore has dragged a ladder and a table from under the ring and he sets the table up by the side the ring before sliding the ladder under the bottom rope. He then seizes Mike Hill and throws him back before following…..Hill tries to stumble up but Ojore grabs him and delivers a sickening headbutt…..he then opens the ladder up and he chucks Hill inside, sandwiching him between both sides….

JT: Oh lord….ten years ago at the original Day of Reckoning event I witnessed Ojore do this exact same thing…..this is bad news for Mike Hill….

RJ: OH MY GOD!

Crowd: Holy (beep) x10

RJ: HE’S BROKEN IN HALF….

Ojore picks the ladder now and he holds it in place before delivering a huge “World’s Strongest Slam” which crushes Hill into the canvass between the ladder. The ladder breaks in half as Ojore rises and lets out a monumental roar….

JT: I have never…

We get shots of the crowd, fans holding their heads in shock, as Uryu Ishida suddenly leaps from on high and dropkicks Ojore in the back. The big man staggers forward and drops across the middle rope….O’Callaghan smirks as he runs over now…

RJ: 619……LOOK AT THAT STRENGTH!

O’Callaghan nails the 619 and sends Ojore staggering back toward the centre of the ring. Rex is up now and he lifts Ojore onto his shoulders and carries him to the ropes before nailing a whipping fireman’s slam (ala Wade Barrett) which sends the big man over the top rope and crashing through the table on the outside….

JT: OJORE IS THE FIRST MAN OUT….UNREAL SCENES HERE!

RJ: REX ADAMSON IS NOT HUMAN…

Ojore is smashed and laid amidst the wreckage of the table. Rex turns and glares at the rest of the competitors and then the claxon sounds for entrant number six….

JT: Another surprise….

RJ: Former 6CW TV Champion in the house…

“The one and only” hits the speakers as Blade comes running out from the back and straight to the ring, receiving plenty of nostalgic cheers from the audience. He dives in and immediately ducks a clothesline attempt from OC before coming back off the ropes with a jumping leg lariat (ala Zack Ryder)……..

JT: GORE….THANKS FOR COMING BLADE!

Blade smiles as he drives O’Callaghan into the canvass but then he stands up and Rex rips right through him with a devastating spear. He drags Blade up quickly and just hauls him over the top to the outside…

RJ: Second elimination for Rex Adamson….he is looking a million dollars right now…

JT: Sensational from this young man….entering in at #1, 24 hours removed from War Games….he is destined for greatness, I am telling you now….

Rex turns and eats a right hand now from O’Callaghan. The two men engage in another brawl and Rex suddenly rakes at the eyes of OC and then tries to lift him into an electric chair position…

RJ: OC off the back, I’d love to see these go one on one…

O’Callaghan spins Rex around and looks for a northern lights suplex but Adamson counters with a backdrop. Rex ushers OC up and scoops him on his shoulders….

JT: FIRE & THUNDER….

O’Callaghan drops off the back and then he lashes a hard kick into the back of Rex’s knee, knocking him down….he then grabs both of Rex’s legs…

RJ: Sharpshooter….

JT: O’Callaghan is a killer with this move….

Rex is thrashing from side to side and then uses his hip strength to launch OC across the canvass. Rex crawls back up to his feet as Uryu runs into him and leaps into a wheelbarrow position (ala Rey Mysterio)….

RJ: WHAT A SUPLEX!

Rex counters with a devastating release German suplex which sends Uryu bouncing across the canvass once more. Rex gets back to his feet and he stares at Mike Hill, blood running from his mouth, before running at him and clotheslines him over the top to the outside….

RJ: Rex Adamson has a third elimination….quite incredible….

JT: Mike Hill was completely and utterly crushed at the hands of Ojore, I don’t think he was ever going to recover from that here tonight…

*Claxon sounds

RJ: James McManus in at 7…

JT: But look at him….he can barely walk on that ankle after the damage sustained less than a half hour ago….

RJ: How is he mentally, also? Because Exodus’ whole world just got rocked with the return of The Coalition….

JT: Or the fact his wife left the building with Alex Walker before McManus and the rest of Exodus even got back to the locker-room…

RJ: McManus still has aspirations though and leaving tonight as 6CW Champion would be his crowning achievement….

McManus is clambering through the ropes to confront Rex Adamson when O’Callaghan slides in and clatters his injured ankle….

JT: Plenty of issues over the years between these two men….O’Callaghan not likely to miss an opportunity to renew hostilities…

Rex turns away now and focuses back on Uryu, who is clambering up in the corner. He stomps at Ishida’s midsection and rams home with crunching shoulder thrusts…..across the ring, O’Callaghan is signalling to the fans before he puts James McManus in the sharpshooter….

RJ: McManus is tapping furiously but it makes no difference whatsoever…..only way to be eliminated is by going over the top….

OC is laughing at the pain that he is inflicting upon his foe before he finally releases. He looks down on McManus before grabbing his trunks and beginning to pull him up…

JT: O’Callaghan looking for his first elimination of the night….

RJ: Rex thinking otherwise….

Rex suddenly turns and runs over to clatter OC from behind. He spins him around from a ripcord and nails a monumental “rainmaker” lariat. Rex kneels there for a moment and takes a deep breath as the fans applaud…

JT: Say what you like, think what you like but Rex Adamson’s talent is beyond measure and these fans inside The Sphere are recognising that….they are appreciative of the talent in front of them…

Rex gets back on his feet now and he looks around at OC, McManus and Uryu who are all down on the canvass…

Crowd: FIVE….FOUR…..THREE…..TWO……ONE!

RJ: BUSINESS, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, JUST PICKED UP…

“Refuse/Resist” blasts through the airwaves and there is a deafening ovation from the crowd as Chris Patricks appears from the back. The Boston native has fire in his eyes as he focuses on the ring, where Rex has frozen and is staring straight back…

JT: REX ADAMSON AND CHRIS PATRICKS ARE READY TO GO WAR AGAIN!

RJ: 24 hours ago they beat the holy hell out of each other…..they’ve been at war since last month when Chris Patricks returned…..

JT: And Rex wants some revenge….Patricks scored the winning fall in War Games….he’s the reason Michael Sweetwater is in the hospital and Genesis didn’t get the W last night…

RJ: Patricks has been a royal thorn in Rex’s side since his Tokyo return….

JT: This is fast becoming a fantastic rivalry….

Patricks leaps up onto the apron and he smirks as Rex begins to take the straps down on his singlet. Rex beckons Patricks to step in through the ropes and face him….Patricks nods his head and leaps over the ropes…..Rex storms forward for a huge clothesline but CP ducks it and lashes a roundhouse kick to the stomach and then, with the other leg, crashes a kick into Rex’s temple. Rex stumbles around and Patricks leaps on his back…

RJ: Backstabber….no messing here from Chris Patricks, picking up where he left off last night….

Patricks gets to his feet and he nods in appreciation of the crowd support before running the ropes and comes back with “rolling thunder” across the body. Rex starts to stagger back up as Patricks grabs him and tries to throw him out of the match…

JT: What a moment this would be….

Rex locks his feet around the ropes and refuses to be budged as Patricks continues to try and press him over the top. Rex is locked in place before he jams his elbow back into CP’s mouth, sending him away….

RJ: Rex Adamson came in here to win tonight and he certainly didn’t come to be eliminated by Chris Patricks….

Rex runs out now with a heavy shoulder tackle takedown and then motions Patricks back up again and he pops him into the air before slamming a huge kick into his head as he comes down (ala Goldberg)…..Rex drags Patricks up into a front facelock and destroys him with a jackhammer…

JT: Chris Patricks vs Rex Adamson, one on one, at any time in 2024….sign me up….

RJ: Remember Uryu, McManus and O’Callaghan are all still a part of this match….

JT: Recovery times are key to victory, especially when you enter this early…..

Rex stomps down on the back of Patricks before dragging him up and slings him to the corner. Rex smashes the point of his elbow into the jaw of Patricks until he slips into a seated position and then he circles the ring and sprints back in with a crushing cannonball splash (ala Kevin Owens)….

RJ: James McManus will be happy to see entrant number 9, The Fanatic is walking in…

JT: Another angry man, a man with a point to prove after the disappointment of what just went down for Exodus….

Fanatic is marching down the aisleway and he meets McManus outside the ring. The two members of PK are in deep discussion now before they begin to clamber up into the ring…

RJ: This, potentially, could be a game changer…..a tag team working together inside the “Gateway”……a fine team at that…

JT: One of the best…tag titles in both 6WF and 6CW…

Rex is beckoning them in but PK flatten him with a double clothesline. Rex staggers back up and Fanatic scoops him on his shoulders….

RJ: BOOT OF DOOM!

JT: McManus felt that in his ankle but he certainly looks more comfortable with Fanatic by his side…

Uryu is back on his feet and he sprints forward into a dropkick on McManus, sending him tumbling, but then Fanatic unleashes an uppercut under his jaw. He drags Uryu up and slings him through the ropes into the ringpost….Ishida slams hard into the solid steel and falls to the outside…

RJ: Uryu Ishida can barely even function and is taking heavy impact after heavy impact….

JT: PK aren’t done with him either….they are sending a message here….

Fanatic signals to McManus to follow him to the outside of the ring as they target Uryu…..BOOM…..Fanatic drags the former world champion up and clatters him into the steel steps as McManus begins clearing covers off of the “Social Media” table…

RJ: Henry and Harold are moving and I don’t blame them….Uryu Ishida is in trouble here…

JT: Earlier tonight Daniel Reilly felt the wrath of PK when he was driven through one of our colleagues’ tables….Uryu about to feel the same kind of pain…

RJ: BROKEN IN HALF!

Fanatic hooks Uryu in a full nelson and drags him up. He lifts him into the air and then lets go, Uryu drops down and McManus catches him and decimates him through the table with a modified slam…..

JT: Uryu Ishida’s night and race may be run…..

We get a shot of Uryu, unconscious amidst the wreckage, as PK turn their attention back to the ring. Chris Patricks then charges over and he suicide dives through the middle ropes and clatters McManus to the ground….CP gets back up and takes a massive boot to the mouth from Fanatic…

RJ: This is starting to get really tasty…

“CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES, THIS IS MY LAST RESORT”

*Huge pop

RJ: It’s your pick, Jeff…

JT: Yes it is….Geoff Steel is number 10 and I believe this is the man heading for the 6CW Championship by the end of tonight…

RJ: Mixed bag in the last year for Steel but he has shown, on more than one occasion, that he can rise in the face of adversity….

JT: And he’s in great form right now….he’s hitting his stride at exactly the right time…

Steel dives into the ring and he dodges a forearm smash from O’Callaghan and lifts him onto his shoulders before exploding with a huge “attitude adjustment”…..

RJ: The raw strength of Geoff Steel is a difference maker….pound for pound the strongest man on the roster, no doubt about it….

Steel faces the announce area now as Fanatic pulls himself up on the apron and steps over the ropes. The two men face off and then begin to trade with big right hands…

JT: Geoff Steel fears nobody….it doesn’t matter about size…

Fanatic tries to push Steel back and then unleashes an uppercut but Steel ducks it and lands a boot to the stomach before whipping Fanatic off the ropes and sends him up and over with a backdrop…Fanatic staggers to his feet as Steel rams a boot into his stomach and drags his head into place….

RJ: BLADECU…

McManus is back in and he smashes into Steel from behind and clubs at his back. He drags him up now and tries to whip him off the ropes but Steel reverses and then shows great strength to bodypress McManus as he comes back…

JT: Steel and Exodus have bumped heads a few times in recent weeks…..

RJ: There’s another bump!

Fanatic is up as Steel just throws McManus at him and they both collapse on the mat. Rex Adamson is on his feet now and he locks eyes with Geoff Steel before they both look at the members of PK…

JT: Steel and Rex ready to work together? Well I never….

RJ: Happens in this match…..LOOK AT THAT!

Geoff Steel lets McManus get back on his feet and he body presses him again before walking to the ropes and throws him down to the outside. He turns around as Rex nods and then pounds his chest before he presses The Fanatic over his head and launches him to the outside…

JT: That is quite simply astonishing….I am running out of superlatives for this kid….

The crowd are bouncing, applauding what they have just witnessed, before the claxon sounds again and “Le Marseillaise” hits the airwaves…

RJ: Now this is interesting…..Jerome Dubois has been claiming that he will have a huge moment at “Night of Glory” and also that he will restore pride and honour to the 6CW Championship…

JT: Well he has a great opportunity tonight to get his hands back on a title he hasn’t held in nearly 15 years….

RJ: But there is also one slight issue for Dubois and that is the return of Cobra…two weeks ago at Proving Grounds the “Nightmare of Tijuana” came back to 6CWF to renew hostilities with Dubois that have raged since 6CW was in its infancy…

JT: And Cobra too has returned to lay claim to the world title he has never won in his illustrious career….will the two long-term rivals clash at some point in this match?

RJ: If Dubois has aspirations of winning this match then yes he and Cobra will lock horns at some point this evening…

Dubois swaggers down toward the ring but then decides he is going to walk around the outside instead of stepping up. Steel and Rex are staring at him before they turn back on one another and begin to trade punches…

JT: Dubois is not willing to engage off the bat…

RJ: The fans and purists will not like it but, you have to say, it is a fairly sound tactic from the Frenchmen…

Steel and Rex are going at it tooth and nail with thunderous punches. Rex stomps at Steel’s stomach now and tries to lift him into his shoulders but Steel squirms off the back and shoves Rex off the ropes before lifting him into a flapjack as he comes back, dropping him backward across the top rope….Rex slams off the ropes and his legs come up in the air…

JT: STEEL GONNA ELIMINATE REX!

Steel leaps on his opponent and tries to turn him over the top but Rex, once more, battles and clings to the ropes. We see Jerome Dubois running around the ring and grabbing at Rex’s wrist now, trying to pull him over the ropes…

RJ: He’s trying to Hogan him….92 Royal Rumble…

JT: Dubois won’t get in the goddamn match but he’s still being a factor…

RJ: He has had his own issues with Rex over the last few months…

Dubois continues to try and pull Rex over the ropes when Chris Patricks, up on the outside, leaps onto the ringside barrier and runs along before leaping off with a missile dropkick on Dubois, sending him crashing across the floor…

JT: I can’t believe Chris Patricks just stopped Rex Adamson from being eliminated….

RJ: Something tells me that Patricks wants that accolade for himself…

Rex and Steel have battled away from the ropes now before O’Callaghan waistlocks Rex into a release German. Steel looks for a big clothesline but OC dodges it and nails a half nelson suplex which sends Steel bouncing across the mat. Steel is sat against the ropes as OC runs into him with a knee, sagging him through the ropes and out on the apron. O’Callaghan gets back up as he wills Rex to his feet again and tries to lift him up…

JT: Rex fighting here, he doesn’t want to go back near the ropes…..GORE!

Rex fights out and then runs the ropes for a spear but he is drop toe holded across the middle rope by OC. The Irishman gives a signal to the audience and then runs the ropes himself and returns with a 619….

RJ: REX CAUGHT HIS LEGS…..WOULD YOU TAKE A LOOK, UNBELIEVABLE!

Rex grabs OC’s legs and then he rips him into the air and catches him on his shoulders before running to the ropes and launches him over the top with a release powerbomb which knocks down Chris Patricks and Jerome Dubois…

JT: Great showing from the returning O’Callaghan tonight but his dream of leaving as 6CW Champion is over for tonight….

RJ: And that is Rex Adamson’s fifth elimination already…..seven men have fallen and Rex is on absolute fire…

JT: Here is number 12….I really didn’t think we’d be seeing Robin Reborn again tonight after he lost that brutal steel cage match earlier tonight…

RJ: Reborn wasn’t going to miss this opportunity, even at less than 100%.....the former world champion, the former “Gateway to Glory” winner wants to be a headline act at Night of Glory…

JT: He believes it is his right…..Reborn may not be 100% but thanks to his current contract with 6CWF he only has to fight a handful of times a year, unlike the majority of the roster…

Reborn swaggers out into the aisle and looks angry. He taunts the crowd as he walks down to the ring. Chris Patricks is staggering up but eats a huge superkick to the mouth before Reborn repeats the same move to Jerome Dubois….

RJ: Robin Reborn believes he is owed a guaranteed spot at the big time….

JT: But he needs to put in the hard work…he knows what it takes to win this match, he needs to tap into that…

Rex is standing in the middle of the ring and has his eyes locked on Reborn as he clambers up onto the apron. The two men are staring at one another…

RJ: This is another colossal confrontation….

JT: Rex has a fantastic record against former world champions…

Rex beckons for Reborn to climb in, which he subsequently does. They go nose to nose and then Rex shoves Reborn in the chest….Reborn staggers back into the ropes but dodges a clothesline on the comeback before he handsprings into the opposite side and returns with a back elbow takedown….Rex stumbles back up and Reborn runs at him….

RJ: REBORN GONE….

JT: LOOK AT THAT ATHLETICISM!

Rex sidesteps and uses Reborn’s momentum to launch him over the top rope. Geoff Steel is on his feet in the aisleway and Reborn, somehow, lands on Steel’s shoulders….Steel has Reborn in the electric chair position and contemplating dropping to the floor but Reborn suddenly stands on the shoulder and makes the jump back to the apron….

RJ: We knew Reborn was capable of great things but that was crazy….

JT: SO WAS THAT FOREARM!

Reborn springboards back into the ring wipes out the unsuspecting Rex Adamson with a brutal forearm to the mouth. Reborn is standing tall now and running his mouth at Rex…

RJ: I’m not so sure the world would be ready for Reborn’s ego if he were to win a second “Gateway” match….

Chris Patricks has scaled the ropes from the outside and he flies through the air now with a missile dropkick to take Reborn off of his feet. Patricks signals to the crowd now and then runs the ropes and handsprings back into a standing moonsault. CP drinks in the audience’s energy before he runs the ropes again…

JT: ROLLING….

RJ: AU REVOIR!

Patricks is rolling back to his feet in order to nail the “rolling thunder” but Dubois back in and lifts him into the huge sit-out side slam. He gets back to his feet and does a little jog before he grabs Rex and drags him into position….

JT: CULTURE…

Rex kicks his feet and drops of the back before he waits for Dubois to turn around and pops him up into a huge European uppercut. Dubois staggers back into the ropes and then walks forward into a huge Samoan drop…

RJ: Rex Adamson has been in this match for close to thirty minutes and he is still pulling off moves like that…

JT: The kid is once in a lifetime…

Geoff Steel has clambered up to his feet again and is getting ready to confront Rex once again when the claxon sounds…

RJ: OH MY…

JT: Unlucky thirteen for some….but Blue Dragon is the man who made all of this possible tonight…he cashed in his “Key to the Kingdom” shot to put the 6CW Championship on the line…

RJ: Maybe the most dominant man on the roster right now…..and, for many, the favourite for tonight’s match….

JT: Blue Dragon….Rex Adamson and Geoff Steel all squaring off….this is huge…

RJ: Dragon and Steel had arguably the feud of 2023 and we are about to get a whole new chapter on that….

Dragon steps over the ropes and he grins at his opponents before they come at him. All three men are trading huge shots before BD slams his head into Steel’s face and staggers him backward before he grabs Rex by the throat….

JT: CHOKESLAM….ALL OF IT!

Rex is drilled into the mat and he rolls away under the ropes before Geoff Steel comes forward again and Dragon decimates him with another chokeslam…

RJ: We have seen time and time again the kind of power and dominance that Blue Dragon has…

JT: I’ll never forget that performance inside of “Hardcore Hell” at Born in Fire….that was the night he announced himself as the top predator in 6CWF…

Jerome Dubois spins Dragon around and unleashes with chops to his chest. He looks for an Irish whip but BD reverses it and big boots him to the mat on the comeback. Dubois gets back up and he is almost chokeslammed through the ring…

JT: Blue Dragon is beating the life out of everyone here….this was his masterplan, this is why he chose this match for his title shot….he wanted to prove he was, without doubt, the dominant force in all 6CWF….

Reborn dropkicks Dragon in the spine and sends him staggering into the corner. He chases in and lands with double knees to the chest and then clambers onto the ropes and begins to administer a ten punch combo….

RJ: Reborn may regret this…..LAST RIDE!

Dragon suddenly seizes Reborn and he walks him toward centre ring before drilling him with the devastating powerbomb variation…

JT: LOOK AT THIS SHOWDOWN…..YEARS IN THE MAKING!!!

Chris Patricks is up now and he is grinning as he stares at Blue Dragon. Dragon glares back and he’s also smiling…

RJ: Two men who know each other very well indeed…..their hardcore feud in 6WF over a decade ago that also involved Keith Leone became stuff of legend…

JT: When they were first coming up….now look at them….two of the absolute best, two of the frontrunners for tonight…

Patricks and Dragon square off now. Dragon gets hold of his opponent and launches him into the corner before running at him….CP spins around the ropes and lands a kick over the top (ala Christian) before he scales the ropes. Patricks leaps through the air now and nails a side martial arts kick to Dragon’s temple (ala RVD). He follows it up with “rolling thunder”…..

RJ: Chris Patricks is taking the fight to Blue Dragon like we haven’t seen in awhile…

Patricks beckons Dragon back to his feet and runs the ropes before coming back for a “destroyer” but BD catches him and nails him with an “Alabama” slam…..Patricks holds the back of his neck as he gets back up….

JT: And another chokeslam….Blue Dragon is destroying everything that moves into his path….

RJ: I’m just amazed he hasn’t eliminated anyone yet…..

JT: Look at this confrontation!

RJ: How the hell is Uryu even standing?

A battered Uryu falls through the ropes and back into the ring before raising his head to stare at Blue Dragon….

JT: For the last month these two men have been embroiled in the same battle…

RJ: But from different positions, with different goals….Blue Dragon interjected himself into Uryu’s feud with GazzyD & Edward Plague…..I expected him to target last night’s TLC match for his title shot but instead he chose to cash in for tonight, after Uryu and Gazzy had destroyed one another…

JT: And let’s not forget Dragon’s involvement in last night’s TLC match….

RJ: Dragon got involved to take Edward Plague out of the equation….but Uryu is still unlikely to be happy with BD’s involvement….

JT: Now is his time to do something about that…

RJ: Is he capable? Uryu has been battered….no way has he recovered from last night let alone the utter decimation he has received in this match as well….

JT: But the former 6CW Champion is a fighter and he will not wilt…

Uryu shakes his head at Dragon, almost telling him to save his pity, and then they rush forward. Uryu dodges a right hand and he lashes a calf kick into the back of BD’s leg before repeating the process to the other leg. BD hobbles but then he ducks a buzzsaw kick attempt and he grabs Uryu by the throat…

RJ: Choke…..WHAT A COUNTER!

Dragon lifts Uryu into the air but he wraps his legs around BD’s neck and spins around back and nails a poisonrana….BD staggers back to one knee and Uryu crashes the buzzsaw kick into his temple, leaving him sprawled…Uryu clutches his ribs as he heads for the corner, sparking a huge reaction from the crowd…

JT: Uryu must be running on fumes….he’s been in this match from the beginning….

RJ: He wants the 6CW Championship back……SPLIT SECOND!

The crowd groan as Dragon slams his knees up into Ishida’s injured body. The cameras zoom in on Ishida spitting blood from his mouth….

JT: Terrible landing there for Uryu, he may have internal injuries…

RJ: Without any question…….DEATHNOTE WITH A TWIST!

Dragin is back up now and he stares down at Uryu before gutwrenching him off the floor into his arms. Instead of powerbombing him on the canvass, however, he carries him to the ropes and chucks him over the top to the outside….

JT: Uryu is done…..two shots this weekend at the 6CW Championship and two shots have gone up in smoke….

RJ: A valiant performance from the former champion but there was no way he was going to last the entirety of this contest after last night’s brutality….

JT: Huge scalp for Blue Dragon here as well….he has run roughshod over the playing field since entering this match….he is the only man standing….

RJ: He is looking imperious…..can anyone stand up to the power and dominance of Blue Dragon?

*Claxon sounds

JT: THIS MAN MIGHT JUST DO IT!

There is a deafening roar as “Cochise” blasts through the speaker system before the giant form of The Saint strides through the curtain….

RJ: This is monumental…..Saint made his triumphant return just an hour ago but now this is for own purpose, his own aspirations…..the five time world champion wants another accolade to add to his hall of fame career…

JT: Don’t rule it out…

RJ: The Saint knows what it’s like to be in these matches, he’s reached the final four on two separate occasions in 6WF…

JT: And although he has returned to wage war with Exodus, I’m more than sure he won’t mind adding the 6CW Championship to his collection whilst he is at it…

RJ: Never before has The Saint held 6CW gold, is tonight the night when all that changes?

Saint strides down the aisleway and wastes no time in climbing into the ring. He and BD go nose to nose before both men start teeing off with monumental right hands…

JT: Little bit of history here for you too…..2011 in the “Gold Rush” it was The Saint, Blue Dragon and Keith Leone as the final three….Dragon and Leone ended up co-winners with Saint as runner up….this battle has history….

Saint suddenly starts to rock Dragon back on his heels and then he hooks at his body before whipping him off the ropes and launches him with a huge hiptoss as he comes back. Dragon holds his spine as he gets to his feet and Saint plants a huge kick into his midsection…

RJ: DIVINE…

BD counters with a backdrop and then he ushers Saint up and grips him by the throat. He is setting for a chokeslam but Saint drives a thunderous elbow into the side of Dragon’s eye socket….

JT: That could have broken his orbital….what a spinebuster!

The ring shakes as Saint picks Dragon up off the floor and then drills him down into the mat...

RJ: Saint entered at number 14 and we have seen seven eliminations thus far….Rex Adamson leading the way with 5 of those

The Saint listens to the noise of the audience and he grins as he beckons Dragon back to his feet again and plants a boot into his midsection before hooking his arms into place….

JT: PROMISED….

Dragon spins clear and then he drags Saint into him and nails a crunching uranage backbreaker. Dragon throws up his hands and pounds his chest….

JT: If you were predicting Dragon to leave tonight as champion then you have to be feeling confident right about now…

RJ: He’s confident in himself….this is exactly why he chose to cash in his title shot for this match, to prove there is nobody on his level….

Dragon is suddenly spun around by Geoff Steel and takes three brutal punches to the face. Steel looks for an Irish whip but Dragon reverses it and sends Steel to the corner. He chases in for a splash but Steel moves out of the way…..Dragon slams the turnbuckle and turns back around as Steel runs the adjacent ropes….

JT: What a spear…..I told you, Steel is the guy…..and this crowd is feeling that he may be….INCREDIBLE!

Robin Reborn springboards back in but Steel turns around and catches him before drilling him with a sickening powerbomb. Chris Patricks then wipes Steel off of his feet with a spinning heel kick to the mouth…

RJ: But there is just so much talent in this match….picking a winner, backing just one man is so difficult…

Patricks scores with “rolling thunder” on Steel now before clambering back up to his feet and finds himself face to face with The Saint….

JT: Plenty of history here too….

Patricks grins and then he clatters a roundhouse kick (ala CM Punk) into the side of Saint’s head. Saint staggers to the corner and CP follows in with a shining wizard before grabbing Saint’s head and runs him out for a bulldog….

RJ: Saint is too strong….

Saint holds his ground and then looks for a back suplex driver but Patricks flips out onto his feet and then runs the ropes and returns with a huge dropkick as he returns. Saint sways but doesn’t fall down as Patricks springboards off the ropes…

JT: CROSS…

Saint catches Patricks in his arms and then swings him up onto his shoulders and runs him into a huge powerslam. Saint stands again as Jerome Dubois sprints out from the opposite corner….

JT: FRENCH….OH HO!

Saint just drives his boot up and floors Dubois whilst he is in mid-run. He drags the Frenchmen up and obliterates him with a jackhammer….

RJ: SAINT’S ROW!

JT: Would you look at this stand-off….

Rex Adamson leaps over the top rope and back into the ring now. He and The Saint are glaring at one another…

RJ: This has all the makings of a classic…

JT: Rex never backs down….proving himself against someone like The Saint is what drives him….

Saint nods his head and beckons Rex to bring it on, sparking a cheer from the audience. They lockup in the centre and Rex looks to take the back of his opponent but Saint steps to the side and then nails a hip swing takedown……they get back up and Rex runs under a lariat attempt and hits the ropes but only runs back into a Gorilla press slam….

RJ: I’ve never seen Rex dominated like that….

Saint looks to walk toward the ropes with Rex in his arms but Rex somehow drops off the back and then he lifts Saint on his shoulders…

JT: FIRE & THUNDER….

Saint falls off the back now and he scores with a huge full nelson slam as the claxon goes off…

RJ: Number 15…..OH HERE WE GO!

JT: Saint is ready….

“Through the valley” blasts through the airwaves and the crowd are booing as Clarke James makes his entrance…

RJ: Clarke James is in a foul, foul mood….he’s had his plans scuppered here tonight by The Coalition….

JT: And Alex Walker has high-tailed it out of here….

RJ: But the 6CW Championship is still up for grabs….Clarke James can still leave here tonight with his ultimate goal….

JT: But the rest of Exodus have already been eliminated….

RJ: Something else that Clarke James won’t be happy about….

The Saint is not in the mood to wait and he climbs from the ring and meets Clarke James in the aisleway. They begin brawling now before Saint smashes a huge knee into the stomach and then flips James up…

JT:DIVINE…

CJ spins off the back and then he runs Saint into the ringpost. James looks in no mood to play around as he begins searching under the ring….

RJ: James thought he’d laid waste to Saint, to Acer and to JJ Johnson….but all three of them have returned tonight to prove a real thorn in the side of CJ and Exodus’ plans….

JT: Clarke James may make them rue that decision….

James pulls out a steel chair and he waits for Saint to stand before he swings the chair at his head…..CRACK!

RJ: Look at the way that chair bent around the ringpost…..there would be nothing left of Saint’s head if that had connected….

Saint suddenly smashes a forearm strike into CJ’s jaw and then grabs him by the head and charges him into the steel steps. Saint then walks around and begins clearing out one of the announce desks…

JT: We just replaced all the tables…

RJ: Saint doesn’t give a damn….this war with Exodus has no boundaries, has no let ups….

We turn back to the ring now as Blue Dragon runs through Robin Reborn with a huge clothesline. He beckons him back up and presses his finger to his lips (silencing the fans) as he unleashes a harsh open handed chop to Reborn’s chest. Reborn is double up in pain as Dragon then nails a pumphandle into a shoulder breaker. Dragon indicates he is going to throw Reborn out of the match….

JT: Dragon wants to start cutting the playing field….

CRACK!

A Singapore cane suddenly lashes across the spine of Dragon from the hands of Jerome Dubois. BD spins around but Dubois crashes the stick into his gut….

RJ: He got him up….CULTURE SHOCK!

JT: This is more of that sadism and violence we have seen from Jerome Dubois of late….

RJ: He believes there is a company conspiracy to keep him down……..OH YES!

JT: Here comes the “Nightmare of Tijuana”…..this is massive…….

RJ: I couldn’t believe my eyes when Cobra returned two weeks ago…..this man has achieved global success….but he has never held the world title of the company where he started his career….and that is why he is back…

JT: And to settle an old score with that man in the ring….

Cobra sprints to the ring and dives in as the crowd go wild and chant his name. Dubois runs forward and swings the cane at his head but Cobra ducks underneath it and runs the opposite side before leaping into the air with a high knee strike to the jaw. He then grabs the cane off the floor and waits for Dubois to stand before he smashes it over his head….

RJ: THE CANE SNAPPED IN PIECES….DUBOIS ON DREAM STREET!

JT: VIPER STRIKE!

*Crowd pop

RJ: Jerome Dubois is going to lose it….

Dubois sags into the ropes and Cobra crashes the sickening buzzsaw kick into his temple to send his rival over the top rope to the outside of the ring…

JT: Cobra eliminated Dubois…

The whole arena is rocking as Cobra grins and Dubois throws a fit on the outside. Dubois is trying to get back in the ring but a hoard of referees hold him back. Cobra then turns away and he finds himself face to face with Geoff Steel….

RJ: Two men who know each other well from the early days in 6CW…

Cobra and Steel give a nod of respect before they tee off with right hands. Cobra lashes a kick into the side of Steel’s knee and then spins around and plants a heel kick into his gut before springboarding off the ropes and moonsaulting into an inverted DDT…

JT: I have no idea how a 6’7 guy like Cobra can do that….

Steel stumbles up and Cobra gets him on his shoulders and carries him toward the ropes. He is trying to throw Steel over the top but Steel clings on for dear life…

RJ: Cobra looking for a second elimination….

JT: And I’m looking to change our positions because Saint and Clarke James are up on our table….

Saint is holding up an arm to the crowd as he prepares to flip James into a powerbomb on the 6CWF announce desk but CJ drops to his knees and lands a sickening low blow….Saint drops to his knees now beside James….

RJ: Clarke James’ chances of leaving with the 6CW Championship were about to diminish substantially, but he’s saved himself….at least momentarily….

James pulls Saint around now so that his head is hovering off the side of the table. James grabs a steel chair and sets up before he nails a devastating hangman’s DDT which drills Saint down off the table and ploughs his head through the seat of the steel chair….

JT: That is horrifying impact….that may have broke The Saint’s neck….Clarke James is as sick as they come….

RJ: Nothing we didn’t already know…

In the ring and Chris Patricks springboards off the ropes and sends Robin Reborn crashing across the floor. Reborn gets back to his feet now and runs forward but Patricks sidesteps and uses his momentum to chuck him over the ropes….

JT: Reborn landed on the apron….LOOKOUT!

RJ: NO WAY!

Reborn grins but then Patricks springs off the turnbuckle and flies back with a martial arts kick (ala RVD) which lands on the head and sends Reborn off the apron to the floor…..there is, however, a steel chair on the floor and Reborn lands with one foot on the floor and one foot on the chair….

JT: Really? Only one foot has touched the floor….

RJ: Robin Reborn survives again in one of the craziest turns of fortune I have seen…

Reborn turns to the crowd and gives them the finger before he shows great athleticism to jump from the chair and lands back on the apron…

RJ: GORE…..GORE…..GORE!

Rex suddenly sprints across and crashes through the ropes and into Reborn’s midsection with the huge spear to send him flying down and across the arena floor….

JT: All of that bravado for nothing….Robin Reborn’s race is run….

RJ: And Rex Adamson, entering at #1, has his sixth elimination of the night….

Rex is grinning as he gets back to his feet but then turns around and is lifted into a huge “Enigma Bomb” by Chris Patricks. Patricks looks down upon Rex before he points to the corner…

JT: The issues between these two are far from done…..Patricks wants to add insult to injury now……PUZZLE SOLVER!

Rex moves at the final moment and Patricks is sent crunching into the canvass. Rex clambers back to his feet now and he walks to the corner and takes a knee, his eyes locked on target….

RJ: Rex wants to run right through Patricks here…

JT: Would you look at Clarke James…

James has taken the steel chair that he DDT’d Saint on and set it up so that he can sit and watch the action whilst lounging back against the “Spanish” announce desk…

RJ: James is going to watch this match thin out before he makes his move….

We get a shot of Saint, still down in a heap, before we shoot back to the ring. Rex ploughs through Patricks with the devastating “Gore” and is indicating that he is about to throw him from the match…

*Claxon sounds

JT: SHARPSHOOTER TIME!

Cheers ring out as Scott Harris runs out and he catapults himself over the top rope and takes Rex off of his feet with a huge shoulder tackle. Rex gets back up and Harris dodges a right hand before launching him with a release German suplex….Cobra is up and he eats the same fate….Blue Dragon looks for a discus lariat but Harris ducks under it and rattles off a huge t-bone suplex…

RJ: Harris is all fired up….he’s chasing that dream of a first world title…

JT: Not just a first world title, a first singles title…..Harris was involved in the hellacious War Games match last night and he will be looking to build off of that momentum…

RJ: Like everyone else involved in that contest there is no way he can be 100% but he has a fairly favourable draw….entering number 17…

JT: A great draw for him….

Geoff Steel walks forward into the arms of Harris now and is launched into the turnbuckle with an overhead throw. The crowd are applauding as Harris reaches his feet and he stares at Chris Patricks, who is on one knee….

RJ: Partners last night but these two men know that the alliance no longer applies….especially in this contest…

JT: Only one can leave as world champion….

Patricks capitalises on Harris’ momentary hesitation and he steps onto both feet and explodes with a spinning heel kick with both heels (ala RVD). Patricks springboards onto the ropes and twists back with a legdrop across Harris’s throat…

RJ: Chris Patricks won 6WF’s “Gold Rush” variation of this contest back in 2014, he knows exactly what it takes…

JT: He was also the runner up to JJ Johnson in 2012….he is seasoned in this kind of contest…

Patricks drags Harris up and tries to run him to the ropes but Harris switches his feet up and reverses their positions before slinging CP over the top…

RJ: Patricks landed on the apron but he’s still in big trouble….

Harris comes forward but Patricks buries his shoulder through the middle rope into his gut. Patricks then spins over the top rope and he ushers Harris around before dropping him with a hard thrust kick to the jaw….Patricks looks around and breathes in the cheers of the crowd….

JT: Chris Patricks came back to help his friend, Max Adamson, in his battle with Genesis….last night they picked up the win….but Patricks is a competitor, a warrior, and he was built to be in the big matches at the biggest events….winning the 6CW Championship tonight and headlining Night of Glory will, without doubt, be on his bucket list of achievements…

Patricks looks around at the bodies strewn across the ring and then it is Blue Dragon standing up again. The two rivals stare at one another and then rush forward….

RJ: Dragon caught Patricks’ foot….

JT: But he didn’t catch that…

Patricks tries for the thrust kick again but BD catches his leg. CP then launches forward with his other foot and crashes it against Dragon’s jaw, sending him stumbling for the ropes. Patricks runs in and lands a backstabber….he then grabs the top rope….

RJ: SPLIT LEGGED MOONSAULT!

Patricks twists off the ropes and lands across the body of Blue Dragon…..he then primes himself as he waits for Dragon to get back up to his feet…

JT: Patricks believes he can eliminate Blue Dragon here….and what a moment this would be..

RJ: Blue Dragon is so confident he will leave tonight as 6CW Champion, he insisted upon this match….

*Claxon sounds

JT: That got Clarke James out of his feet…

“From sound to silence” blasts out and the crowd are on their feet for Acer’s arrival. Clarke James’ dark eyes have narrowed as he steps up off his chair…

RJ: FROM BEHIND!

Acer has climbed in from the back and he is standing on the “Social Media” table. Clarke James then turns as Acer leaps off and floors him with a clothesline. He rags CJ up and runs him forward….BOOM!

JT: Acer’s home was invaded, his family targeted, his whole life turned upside down by this monster….and he wants the fullest payback imaginable….

The steel steps go flying as CJ’s head is ploughed through them. Acer has an angry expression on his face…

RJ: Acer got one shot in on Clarke James earlier but I’m sure this man will not be content until he has full revenge for what he was forced to endure…

JT: And now Clarke James’ night could be about to get a whole lot worse….

The Saint is holding his head and looking a little groggy but is back on his feet. He winces in pain but then stares at Acer…

RJ: Brothers in arms….they returned tonight to get even with Exodus….

Acer and Saint smirk at one another before turning their gaze to Clarke James. They drag up the ring apron and start to pull out a table…

JT: Clarke James might be about to get a taste of reality….

RJ: Exodus are back….dammit….

Fanatic and James McManus have returned to the fray and they begin brawling with Saint and Acer on the outside of the ring. Fanatic grabs Acer by the throat….

JT: Exodus are never far behind where Clarke James is….even without Alex Walker here to call the shots….

Saint throws McManus into the stomach of Fanatic, winding him, and then he signals for Acer to join him and they drag him toward the “Social Media” table…..CRASH!

JT: THE BIG MAN JUST GOT RANSACKED!

A double suplex from Acer and The Saint decimates Fanatic through the table and leaves him amidst the wreckage. James McManus has rolled into the ring now to try and get away…

RJ: McManus can barely move on that ankle….and he’s seen what just happened to his tag team partner…

Saint and Acer climb up into the ring now as McManus continues to back away with his hands up, almost pleading for mercy…

JT: James McManus knows that things are about to get very bad for him….

RJ: OR NOT!

There are boos and looks of shock as suddenly Clarke James bundles back into the ring and he launches Acer over the top rope and out of the match…

JT: Clarke James once again exploiting the openings….

The Saint turns and he boots Clarke James in the stomach before flipping him up for the “Divine Force”…..James McManus crawls forward and lands a low-blow from behind…

RJ: A goddamn sneak attack….why the hell am I not surprised…

Saint doubles up in agony as Clarke James grabs him by the scruff of the neck and chucks him over the top rope for another elimination….CJ drops down into a seated position with a dark smile on his face…

JT: Clarke James suddenly feeling a lot more confident again….Exodus came to his aid and because of their interference he was able to eliminate both Acer and The Saint….

RJ: Two more barriers removed from him winning the 6CW Championship….

JT: Number 19 is on the way….we’ve had 11 eliminations thus far…

RJ: Seven superstars currently in the match….an eighth is imminent….

The superstars in the match are either sat or kneeling around the ring, staring at one another, as the timer counts down…

JT: The Coalition aren’t finished with James McManus here…

James is still smirking but then The Saint grabs McManus by his bad ankle and drags him under the bottom rope. Acer has set the table up at ringside and they double suplex him up before turning him in the air and front slam him through the wood…

RJ: Clarke James may still be in this match but Saint and Acer are ensuring that if he wants to win he will need to do it alone….Parasite Killers have been taken apart….

Saint and Acer turn and glare at James as the claxon goes and “Revival Mode” shatters the airwaves to a huge response from the audience…

JT: Liam Wood at 19….I know a lot of people are backing this man….

RJ: Runner up in the 2015 Gateway to Glory….Liam Wood finally laid his feud with Engel Harlequin to rest last night in that turbulent “I Quit” match….

JT: And now he has his eyes set on becoming world champion once again…

RJ: Would crown a huge weekend for him if he could end it as the 6CW World Champion…

Liam Wood makes his way to the ring and climbs inside. Rex Adamson shoves Clarke James out of the way as he and Wood go hell for leather with huge shots…

JT: Rex Adamson wants to prove himself against everyone…

Wood crashes a kick into the side of Rex’s knee and then throws a knee up under his chin before kicking him in the stomach and nails a lungblower. Chris Patricks runs forward but Wood dodges his attack and kicks him in the stomach…

RJ: MANSON DRIVER!

Scott Harris clatters against Wood now and looks for a German suplex but Wood backflips out onto his feet and chokeslams Harris into a backbreaker as he spins around. Geoff Steel then scoops Wood up on his shoulders…

JT: ATTITUDE…

Wood drives elbows into Steel’s jaw and drops off the back before stomping on his knee and runs the ropes…

RJ: PSYCHO CRUSHER!

Wood drills Steel in the mat with the foot stomp before Cobra stands up from the corner and sets his eyes on Wood…

JT: This has all the makings of a showdown for the ages….

RJ: Take all my money now…

Cobra and Liam Wood circle one another and then lockup in the middle of the ring. Wood spins free and kicks Cobra in the stomach…

JT: MANSON…

Cobra counters with a backdrop but Wood lands on his feet. He runs the ropes and comes back with a discus elbow but Cobra ducks it and grabs the arms…

RJ: SNAKEBITE!

Wood stops the spinning impailer and pushes Cobra to the ropes. Cobra springboards off them and returns with a crossbody takedown…he ushers Wood back to his feet…

JT: VIPER STRIKE!

Wood ducks the kick and pushes Cobra into the ropes…

RJ: WORLD EATER!

Cobra catches Wood’s knee on the way down and he then spins him around and grabs his arms again….

JT: SNAKE….OH GODDAMIT!

The crowd are booing furiously as Cobra twists Wood around for the spinning impailer but Jerome Dubois has slid back in and smashes a light-tube over Cobra’s head, busting him wide open. Cobra is left in a pool of blood as Dubois stares down at him with pure hatred…

RJ: Dubois was embarrassed two weeks ago when Cobra returned and he was even more embarrassed earlier tonight when Cobra eliminated him from this match….I guess this is his payback….

JT: Cobra didn’t stand a chance…Dubois is a sick SOB….this is not done here, not by a long shot…

Dubois spits down on Cobra before he shrugs off the referees that are trying to remove him from the ring. Eventually he turns on his heel and clambers to the outside….

RJ: Dubois had already been eliminated…..this is bull(beep)….

Liam Wood is looking down at the bloodied body of Cobra but then Clarke James slams into him from the side and launches him into the corner. He stomps at the gut of Wood and unleashes chops at his chest…

JT: As heinous as that was…this match continues….we still need a winner, someone needs to leave here tonight as the 6CW World Champion…

RJ: Look at Cobra….he can barely even stand up…

Cobra’s face is a bloody mess as he grabs at the ropes to try and get back on his feet. Rex Adamson decides to make his way over and he just pushes him over the top with ease…

JT: Rex got another elimination…..probably his easiest of the night…

RJ: Cobra didn’t have a single chance after that assault by Dubois….

Medics are called to check on Cobra’s condition as Chris Patricks spins Rex around and leaps into a hurricanrana takedown…

RJ: Patricks and Rex are never too far away from each other in this contest….

JT: Both want to say they eliminated the other from the “Gateway”….I’m not sure either could stomach it if the other left as champion….

Blue Dragon and Geoff Steel are renewing their hostilities in one corner whilst Clarke James is brawling with Liam Wood opposite them. Patricks is trying to force Rex over the top rope as Scott Harris steps into the centre of the ring, looking around at the action…

RJ: The action is chaotic….it’s hard to keep your eyes on everything….

JT: And we have another about to join the party…who will it be?

Crowd: FIVE…..FOUR…..THREE…..TWO……ONE!

RJ: LOOK AT HARRIS’S FACE!

The Sphere is alive as “Champion” hits the airwaves and “MM” appears on the huge LED screen….

JT: CAN IT REALLY BE?!?

RJ: FORMER EWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION….SCOTT HARRIS’S FORMER TAG TEAM PARTNER….

JT: MIKE MASTERS IS HERE AT DAY OF RECKONING!

Harris has to do a double take as Mike Masters swaggers out into the aisleway with a huge grin on his face. He opens up his waistcoat and plays to the audience (ala Dolph Ziggler) before slicking back his hair and making his way to the ring….he points up at Scott Harris and tips him a wink…

RJ: At one time these two men became tag team champions together, despite a mutual animosity……that team, unsurprisingly, imploded…..Masters went on to become a world champion whilst Harris ended up on the sidelines with injury….we haven’t seen Masters in years…

JT: But you can tell by looking at Scott Harris that he hasn’t forgot….

Masters smirks and then leaps over the top rope. He and Scott Harris stare at each other as the crowd chant “Holy (beep)”…..

RJ: I’m with them….what a moment here in the “Gateway to Glory”…

JT: Are they gonna fight….this fight has been years in the making…

RJ: SUPERKICK!

Rex Adamson has dropped Patricks and is looking to attack Harris from behind when Mike Masters leaps forward and superkicks Rex on the jaw, much to everyone’s surprise…

JT: He stopped Harris from getting blindsided….no way…

Harris and Masters stare at one another again as Clarke James looks to attack Masters from behind but Harris runs in and nails a codebreaker…

RJ: These are absolute scenes here….Harris and Masters helping one another out….

JT: I guess they both still remember the days as tag champs…

Blue Dragon launches forward for a double clothesline but Masters and Harris both duck underneath. Masters then dropkicks BD into a German suplex from Harris…

RJ: I never thought I’d see Mike Masters and Scott Harris working as one in 2024….

Geoff Steel drives a both into Masters’ stomach and looks to whip him across the ring. He lowers his head for a backdrop but Masters leapfrogs him and springs off the ropes…

JT: DISASTER KICK…..

RJ: SHOT IN THE DARK!

Masters lands the boot clean into Steel’s face and knocks him back into Harris for the “Olympic” slam. Liam Wood spins Masters around now and rocks him with a right hand before whipping him to the corner and following in…

JT: WHISPER IN THE WIND!

Masters corkscrews back into the takedown on Wood as the crowd let out another cheer. Scott Harris is looking at his former tag team partner…

RJ: I don’t think in Harris’s wildest dreams he expected this…

JT: Right there with him….OH HO!

Masters points to Clarke James for Harris and then steps toward Rex but instead he waits for Harris to turn around and then tries to seize him and launch him from the ring….Harris, however, is able to switch up his feet and he throws Masters over the top to the outside…

RJ: Mike Masters tried to blindside Harris, he tried to chuck him out…

JT: But Harris knew to expect a double cross…

Masters is sat on the arena floor with a rueful smile on his face before clambering back up. He nods at Harris, who returns the gesture, and then surprisingly Harris offers a fist bump over the ropes…

RJ: Harris willing to put the past behind them….

JT: BIG MISTAKE!

Masters returns the gesture but then grabs Harris’ hand. Harris tries to pull clear as Rex Adamson storms in behind and launches him over the top…

RJ: MASTERS JUST COST HARRIS…

JT: THAT REALLY WAS HOGAN/SID AT ROYAL RUMBLE ’92!

RJ: AND LOOK AT THAT!

Harris is bundled to the arena floor and he turns to look up in dismay as Mike Masters leaps onto the steel steps and jumps back with a sickening disaster kick to the mouth of Scott Harris….he stands over his former tag partner and slicks his hair back before flicking the excess water down on Harris, an ugly grimace on his face…

JT: I guess Mike Masters hasn’t forgotten, hasn’t moved on…..he still has the same issues with Scott Harris that he had a decade ago…

RJ: Scott Harris may have something to say on that when he comes to but for now his dreams of being world champion are over…

Masters is escorted away by security as the timer is counting down once more. The crowd are on their feet in anticipation as the claxon goes off….

JT: THE CHAMPION IS HERE….

RJ: Dear lord, would you look at GazzyD…..his body looks ravaged, the cuts and bruises are horrendous….

JT: Less than 24 hours ago this man went through hell against Uryu Ishida, barely surviving as 6CW Champion…..and now, entering in at 21, he must survive against the entirety of the chasing pack in 6CWF….he will have a target on his back and he barely has the capacity to defend himself…

RJ: He’s struggling to walk down the aisle….but we know Gazzy, despite the darkness dwelling inside of him, and he is a proud fighter and a proud champion….he will give this his all, no doubts…

Blue Dragon is back on his feet and he is grinning at the sight of Gazzy making his way toward the ring. Dragon even leans on the ropes to hold them open for the reigning champion…

JT: Blue Dragon is enjoying this….he’s the reason that Gazzy’s championship is on the line in this match….

Gazzy stops at the base of the ring, one of his eyes is swollen and half closed, and he looks up at Dragon with pure contempt. Dragon is continuing to goad him….

RJ: I’m not sure how wise it is for Gazzy to even get in there right now….he’d be better off biding his time…

JT: I think that’s what he is thinking….

They continue to stare at one another as the cameras switch to show us the rest of the action. Chris Patricks is once again trying to force Rex over the ropes but then Rex flicks his heel back between CP’s legs. Patricks stumbles away and drops to his knees. Clarke James is stalking Geoff Steel and looks for “Faithless” but Steel elbows his way free and then lifts CJ onto his shoulders….

RJ: Steel gonna try and launch Clarke James out of this match...

CJ grabs at the top rope and refuses to be thrown over the top. Steel summons all of his strength to finally throw James over but James manages to land on the apron and then he pokes Steel in the eyes, sending him staggering away….

JT: Clarke James was in trouble for a second there but he bought himself a big reprieve…

RJ: We are getting right now to the business end of this match now and you can see how much this means to everyone involved….nobody wants to get this close and see their hopes evaporate….

James is back in the ring and now he pulls Steel in close and drills him with “Faithless”. He kneels there for a moment before Liam Wood runs out toward him…

JT: PSYCHO…

CJ moves out of the way of the foot stomp attempt and he spins Wood around before lifting him into a Samoan drop. GazzyD is still trying to move around outside of the ring but Blue Dragon has seen enough…

RJ: Dragon wants Gazzy in the match….he wants him in and then he wants him over the top and out, guaranteeing a new world champion…

JT: I’m not sure Gazzy is in any position to fight him off…..

RJ: PLAGUE IS!

Dragon is on the outside and closing in on Gazzy when Edward Plague comes out from the back and attacks him from behind. Dragon fights back and he picks Plague up and charges him into the ringpost as Gazzy unstraps the 6CW Championship from around his waist…..CRACK!

JT: Right between the eyes, something tells me this was a damn setup…

RJ: No doubts….Plague hasn’t forgotten what Dragon did to him last night and they certainly haven’t forgiven the fact he is the reason the title is on the line in this match…..

JT: GOOD LORD!

Plague lets Dragon make it back to his feet and then pulls him in close and lifts him into a release uranage slam which drives Dragon through one of the remaining announce desks…

RJ: It is out and out carnage right in front of us….

JT: And Edward Plague has some payback for what Blue Dragon did to him last night…

Plague is grinning at what he has done and he turns to Gazzy and points at the 6CW Championship. Gazzy looks at the gold and then hands it to Plague…

RJ: Edward Plague’s growing obsession with this title is becoming more and more obvious….I’m really not sure how he’d react if it were taken from them tonight…

JT: Which is why he’s here, to prevent that from happening…

Plague cradles the title like a newborn as Gazzy, through his bruised eyes, watches on. We then switch back up to the ring and Rex Adamson is crouching in the corner and waiting for Chris Patricks to stand up….

RJ: Rex Adamson has been in this match now for close to forty five minutes….that is astounding…..last night he went through War Games, tonight he’s lasted forty five minutes currently and has eight eliminations to his name….

JT: And he’s lining up another…..GORE…..

RJ: ENIGMA BOMB!

The crowd roar as Patricks spins and he counters the attempted spear into a “sky high” powerbomb. Patricks then gets to his feet and points to the corner…

JT: Chris Patricks has a plan, has his eyes on the prize and he wants Rex Adamson gone from this match…..PUZZLE…

RJ: DADDY’S HOME!

“Succession” blasts out as the 6WF World Heavyweight Champion comes running down to the ring and dives in. Patricks is still on the ropes and he chooses to dive toward Kent but is caught and drilled by the “Mic Check”….

RJ: Eddy Kent wants retribution for Genesis’ loss last night….

JT: A loss that I believe he could have prevented…..he wasn’t so forthcoming with that fact to the rest of Genesis….

RJ: I guess his argument would be that it has been driven from his mind…..what with the announcement that Genesis will enter the Hall of Fame this year and also the imminent arrival of Jackson Black….

Kent kneels next to Rex now to make sure he is ok. He begins to help him up and then turns to lock eyes with Clarke James, who is hovering around he periphery….

JT: Genesis and Exodus….now wouldn’t this be a battle…

Kent and James continue to glare at each other but then James turns away and runs over to boot Geoff Steel in the face. Kent and Rex fix their attention on Chris Patricks…

RJ: Chris Patricks has become a real issue for Genesis since his return…..Eddy Kent and Rex Adamson have a chance here to, for the short term, remove him from their path….

JT: Genesis said they’d leave tonight with both world titles….one for Rex and one for Kent? Or does Kent leave as Undisputed?

RJ: Well we know it won’t be Sweetwater, he’s still in the nearby hospital…

We hear Kent say to Rex “This is for Sweety” before they drag Patricks up. Rex holds CP in place as Kent backs into the corner and then launches out….

JT: GENESIS KICK…OH!

Patricks drops away at the last second and Kent, somehow, is just able to stop himself short as Rex catches his foot before it can make impact. The two men lock eyes….

RJ: That was very nearly a serious malfunction on the part of Genesis….

JT: STILL COULD BE!

Patricks is back up and he dropkicks Kent in the back and sends him crashing into Rex. They stagger to the ropes as Patricks rushes over and grabs Kent…

RJ: The 6WF Champion is about to be eliminated…

Kent is over the top and clinging on for dear life as Patricks does everything he can to unlock his fingers from around the ropes…

JT: What a moment this would be…..GORE!

Patricks turns and is almost decimates now by the spear from Rex Adamson. Rex drags Patricks up and looks into his eyes with malice before chucking him over to the outside…

RJ: PATRICKS IS GONE….REX HAS ANOTHER!

JT: Eliminating Chris Patricks is a huge moment here for Genesis and everyone else involved….

RJ: Patricks was in a great position to leave here tonight as world champion and now he’s out of there…..Genesis have struck back after last night’s disappointment….

JT: THE BOSS IS HERE……JJ JOHNSON IS ENTERING THE GATEWAY TO GLORY!

RJ: THE 2012 GOLD RUSH WINNER….JJ JOHNSON WENT COAST TO COAST THAT NIGHT….

JT: SOMETHING TELLS ME HE’S HERE FOR A VERY DIFFERENT REASON TONIGHT!

The Sphere is making a raucous noise as JJ Johnson sprints down to the ring. Rex Adamson makes a beeline forward…

RJ: ACCESS ALL AREAS!

JT: STEEL GOT IT TOO….

Steel spins JJ around but takes another stunner. JJ kicks up on his feet and there is a meeting of eyes with Liam Wood…

RJ: What a contest this would be….YAKUZA…

JJ ducks Wood’s attempted kick and nails him with a third stunner, drawing massive cheers from the audience. JJ looks out of the ring at Edward Plague and GazzyD, both of whom stare back up at him….

JT: Gazzy still hasn’t entered this match…

RJ: He hasn’t got the energy….that’s why Plague is here, to protect him….

JT: DID YOU SEE KENT AGAIN!

Eddy Kent is in the corner and he is lifting himself up to attack JJ from behind but then Johnson starts to turn and the 6WF Champion slips back down into a seated position….

RJ: This is becoming almost habit from Eddy Kent now….

JT: THIS IS WHY JJ JOHNSON IS OUT HERE….

Clarke James is on his feet now and he and JJ lock eyes from opposite sides of the ring. The crowd is at fever pitch as JJ begins talking to CJ…

RJ: Clarke James tried to take everything from JJ….his family, his life, his company, his career….

JT: But he didn’t put him away properly……and JJ is back to exact his revenge…..HERE WE GO!

They both charge forward and begin to trade with furious right hands. JJ then slips a shot and nails a hook to the body before driving upward with an uppercut under the chin. CJ staggers and JJ kicks him in the gut….

RJ: ACCESS…

CJ blocks the stunner and pushes JJ into the turnbuckle before beckoning him back around…

JT: FAITHLESS!

JJ elbows his way free of the “rockbottom” attempt and he then scoops CJ onto his shoulders…

RJ: VIP….

James kicks his legs and drops off the back, clawing at JJ’s eyes as he does so. Johnson stumbles to the ropes, holding his face, as James runs toward him….

RJ: THEY’RE OUT OF THERE!

JJ dodges the attack from Clarke James and clotheslines him over the top. James lands on the apron and clings to JJ’s neck, trying to drag him over too. They are both involved in a tussle before Blue Dragon storms back in and throws both of them to the outside…

JT: LOOK AT GAZZY AND PLAGUE’S FACES….THEY THOUGHT THEY TOOK DRAGON OUT!

RJ: AND DRAGON IS LETTING THEM KNOW….

JT: JJ Johnson and Clarke James are both out of the running in this match….but right now I’m not sure it matters to them….

The brawl between JJ and Clarke James continues on the outside before Fanatic and James McManus appear to attack JJ and give Exodus the upperhand. The crowd then roar as The Saint and Acer appear and there is a full blown brawl between both factions on the arena floor as security and referees flood out to break them apart…

RJ: This is out and out chaos here…..Exodus and The Coalition going to war…the battle for 6CWF is surely reaching the final frontier…

We see all six men continuing to fight as they are directed toward the backstage area by officials and security. The cameras pan back to ringside now….

JT: This is anyone’s pick…..I really cannot call it….

RJ: One of the most intense Gateway to Glory matches in history…..remember the 6CW Championship is on the line….

Blue Dragon is standing by the ropes and beckoning for both Plague and Gazzy to come and fight him. Gazzy takes a deep breath and starts moving toward the ring…

JT: I don’t know how wise this is for GazzyD….

RJ: He can’t hide from it all night….he knows he will have to fight eventually…

JT: And he knows Blue Dragon’s threat won’t be eliminated easily….heck they drove him through a table ten minutes ago and yet he still looks fresh…

RJ: Dragon came here tonight on a mission, it will take something special to divert him from accomplishing that….

Gazzy pulls himself up on the apron as Dragon makes a beeline for him and grabs at his hair…

JT: HE THREW SOME KIND OF POWDER IN DRAGON’S EYES!

Gazzy falls through the ropes, wincing as he does, and he kicks Dragon in the stomach…

RJ: DEEP IMPACT!

Gazzy drills Dragon into the canvass as Edward Plague’s eyes glint with malice from outside the ring. Gazzy then tries to lift BD up…

JT: Even without the injuries I wouldn’t like Gazzy’s chances…..no way can he lift Blue Dragon up….

RJ: GORE!

JT: OH GOD!

Rex suddenly rips right through the 6CW Champion with the devastating spear and leaves him in a battered heap on the mat. Rex grins as he starts to clamber up…

JT: Gazzy is spent….and his reign as champion could be about to go up in smoke….

RJ: Will Plague just stand by and let that happen…

*Claxon sounds.

JT: OH MY GOD…

RJ: NO (BEEPING WAY)….

JT: IT CANNOT BE….

RJ: THE GREATEST THEME MUSIC IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME…

“Saturday night” rips through the airwaves and every single fan rises to their feet. There are fans with wide eyes, bouncing with shock, as a figure appears in the entranceway….

JT: IT IS….HE’S HERE….

RJ: ENFORCER IS BACK…..FORMER 6WF WORLD CHAMPION, EWF WORLD CHAMPION….ONE OF THE BEST AND ONE OF THE BADDEST TO EVER DO IT…..THIS IS A PHENOMENAL SURPRISE!

Enforcer has a huge grin on his face as he steps into the aisleway and breathes in the reception of the audience. He then begins to make his way toward the ring…

RJ: This is monumental….a game-changer….the former Trash TV star, multi-time Hardcore, Tag Team, European and World Champion…

JT: I thought Enforcer was done but evidently not…he’s back in 6CWF and every single fan in The Sphere is on their feet…..

Enforcer climbs up on the apron and steps through the ropes. Rex Adamson is the first to step to him…..

RJ: No surprise that Rex is stepping up….this kid has no fear and he wants to prove himself the best….

JT: OH MY!

Enforcer just headbutts Rex in the face, staggering him, and then whips him across the ring. Rex tries to fly back with a crossbody block but Enforcer catches him in his arms….

RJ: HE’S STILL AS STRONG….

Eddy Kent is up as Enforcer launches Rex into a fall away slam which wipes out the Genesis leader as well. Geoff Steel waits for Enforcer to get up and then kicks him in the gut….

JT: BLADE….

Enforcer swipes Steel’s legs and he catapults him to the corner. Steel’s head clatters the ringpost and he stumbles back around as Enforcer runs the opposite ropes….

RJ: FACECHECK!

The leaping forearm smash takes Steel off of his feet, sparking another massive response from the crowd. Liam Wood steps from the corner…

JT: Now this is a moment…..2013…..the first Day of Reckoning event….Enforcer and Liam Wood led opposite teams into War Games….these two men know each other very well…

RJ: Yes they do….

Wood and Enforcer go nose to nose and they exchange some words before they begin to unload with punches, sparking roars from the audience. Wood dodges a right hand and kicks Big E in the gut….

JT: MANSON….

Enforcer counters with a backdrop and stumbles to the corner. He ushers Liam Wood back to his feet and sprints toward him…

RJ: FACE….

Wood dodges the forearm smash and he lifts Enforcer into a dragon suplex. E rolls over onto his knees as Wood runs the ropes…

JT: PSYCHO…

Enforcer dodges the foot stomp and then he lifts Wood off the floor and launches him at the canvass with a spine-shattering full nelson slam…

RJ: Enforcer looks better than ever, he is belying his latter years…..

JT: What a story it would be if Enforcer left here tonight as the 6CW World Champion in his very first match back….

RJ: Don’t rule it out….

JT: The ring is filling up here….we are so close to the finish and nobody is willing to let this opportunity slip through their fingers….

Enforcer continues to breath in the reception of the crowd and he smiles as they chant his name. He looks around at the bodies strewn all over the canvass and then he backs into the corner and waits for someone to stand up…

RJ: Enforcer has a whole playing field to choose from…

JT: It just depends who is unfortunate enough to stand first…..BLUE DRAGON!

Enforcer tears forward and leaps into another “FaceCheck” but Dragon seizes him by the throat. Enforcer kicks BD in the gut and drags his head down…

RJ: POWER….

BD drops out on his feet and he pushes Enforcer back into the ropes. E comes forward and BD looks for a black hole slam but Enforcer swings out on his feet and runs the ropes before returning with a huge big boot, sending spray flying from BD’s head and mouth…..Dragon is swaying as Enforcer runs the ropes again….

JT: DRAGON WILL NOT BE DENIED!

Dragon catches Enforcer by the throat again and this time he lifts him into a full swinging 360 chokeslam which shakes the very foundations of the ring. BD is grinning as the claxon sounds once more….

RJ: FROM BEHIND!

Edward Plague grins as he holds up the #25 ball and then rolls into the ring. He lets Dragon stand, BD’s eyes on the entranceway, and then moves in behind him…

JT: PURIFIER!

Dragon, despite his size, is able to flip out over the shoulders of Plague and waits for him to turn around before grabbing him by the neck….

RJ: CHOKE….

Plague drives a thunderous knee into Dragon’s stomach, breaking his grip, and then summons all of his strength to lift him up and nail a powerbomb…

JT: Edward Plague wants Dragon punished and he wants him gone….he wants him to pay for the jeopardy he has put his family in…

JT: If Edward Plague removes Blue Dragon from this match it will be a huge moment, one that would send reverberations around the whole of 6CWF….

RJ: Plague and Gazzy are bound to join forces now which spells trouble for everyone else in this match….the 6CW Championship seems to belong to their collective, that is all that matters and Plague has made that crystal clear…

JT: I’m still having trouble processing the star power left in this match…

RJ: And there is still five more entrants…we have said this before and will reiterate that this is, undoubtedly, the most star-studded Gateway to Glory in history…

Plague drags BD up and he pushes him toward the ropes and is trying to hoist him over the top but Dragon is holding on for dear life. Plague draws clear and kicks at the ribs before slamming vicious elbows into the back of Dragon’s neck before he attempts to lift him again…

JT: Last night Edward Plague ensured that “The Family” staved off the threat of Uryu Ishida….I’m not saying that threat is completely nullified but it is clear to see who he sees as the biggest threat currently to their most prized possession….

Dragon manages to twist his body and then he drives his head between Plague’s eyes to send him staggering away. Dragon takes a moment to compose himself and then runs forward and almost turns Plague inside out with a huge clothesline…

RJ: This ring is full….there is barely room to breath right now and that is only going to become more of an issue….

Eddy Kent has beckoned Rex over to one of the corners and he is talking with him about their strategy going forward. Enforcer staggers to his feet now as Liam Wood charges into him and runs him toward the ropes…

JT: Enforcer teetering here….could his triumphant return be ruined here….

Enforcer wraps his legs around Wood’s waist and he is able to drag him over the top so that they both crash onto the apron. They both throw kicks and punches at one another as they try and get back on their feet….

RJ: One slip, one lapse in concentration and that championship is going to disappear…..every single one of these superstars is feeling the pressure….

Enforcer headbutts Wood and then kicks him in the ribs before trying to punch at his hands in order to break his grip. Wood is swaying and slipping but then he drives forward and ploughs his forearm into E’s jaw….

JT: This is a war of attrition now….

Enforcer can feel himself slipping but then he regains himself and he scoops Wood up on his shoulders all of a sudden….

RJ: Enforcer might just launch Liam Wood right out of this match…..GENESIS KICK!

Eddy Kent suddenly storms forward and plants the brogue kick right into Enforcer’s face. Big E seems to tumble from the apron in slow motion as Liam Wood somehow drops back onto the apron…

JT: Enforcer is gone….but Wood somehow survived……GORE!

RJ: NOT FOR LONG!

Wood has a smirk on his face as he sees Enforcer on the arena floor but then Rex Adamson crashes through the ropes into the midsection of Liam Wood and sends him crashing down alongside Enforcer, who merely returns the smirk…

JT: I thought Liam Wood had a great chance, I really did….especially building off the momentum of last night…

RJ: But Genesis have struck….Eddy Kent and Rex Adamson have combined to eliminate Enforcer and Liam Wood…

JT: That brings Rex to ten eliminations….he is now just one away from the record set by Joshua in 2015….

RJ: The feat is beyond incredible….he’s been in this match nearly an hour…

*Claxon sounds

JT: ANTHONY GRACE IN AT 26…..now this is a huge draw for the A-lister…

RJ: Fresh off that huge win against Robin Reborn earlier tonight….what would it mean to Anthony Grace to leave here tonight as world champion and put behind him a year of torment?

Grace is walking down the aisleway and then he finds himself face to face with Enforcer, the two men lock eyes for a good moment…

JT: Plenty of history right there and you can see Enforcer has not forgotten….2017 he was the General Manager of 6CW and he lost his job thanks to Anthony Grace…..we won’t be seeing any fallout on that tonight but I’d expect those two will cross paths at some point down the road….

RJ: After that staredown, you can bet on it…

Grace casts another look over his shoulder as Enforcer enters the aisleway and heads toward the back (interacting with delighted fans as he goes). Grace then begins to climb up into the ring now….

JT: Rex and Kent plotting in one corner….Plague and Gazzy in another….we’ve got Geoff Steel and Blue Dragon as lone rangers…

RJ: Who the hell is leaving as champion…..I cannot call it….not for the life of me….

Dragon suddenly whirls around and he launches into the corner with a splash on both Plague and Gazzy. He nails a huge right hand that sends Gazzy through the middle ropes to the apron before he spins around and seizes Plague by the throat…

JT: CHOKE…

Plague chops Dragon’s hand away and then kicks him in the stomach before trying to lift him into position…

RJ: PURIFIER….

Dragon swings free and drives a knee into Plague’s stomach before dragging him into place….

JT: DEATHNOTE!

Gazzy has dropped to the outside and he grabs Dragon’s legs and pulls them from under him before dragging him toward the ringpost so that his legs go either side and his nether regions crack the solid steel….

RJ: That is not the kind of impact that Blue Dragon was hoping to feel tonight….

Edward Plague is grinning now as he rolls out under the bottom rope to join Gazzy on the outside and it becomes clear that the two of them have very evil intentions indeed for Blue Dragon…

JT: I don’t like that look in Edward Plague’s eyes….

RJ: I never have….

In the ring, Geoff Steel and Anthony Grace share a respectful nod (built up over the last few weeks) as they turn their attention to the two members of Genesis…

JT: Grace and Steel know they’ll have to fight at some point….but Genesis are the priority, they need removing from this match…

Steel charges into Rex and drives him back into the corner before exploding with vicious shoulder thrusts to the midsection. Eddy Kent and Anthony Grace square up and Kent slaps Grace in the mouth….

RJ: Eddy Kent and Genesis may not be in the Hall of Fame yet but you can see he already believes he should have that ring on his finger…

Kent is talking trash and indicating where his “hall of fame” ring is going to reside when Anthony Grace suddenly spins on the spot…

JT: BLOCKBUSTER…..HE NAILED HIM!

The roundhouse kick lands toward the ear of Kent and sends him staggering into the ropes. Grace quickly charges into him and looks to help him over the ropes….

RJ: This is it, the Undisputed dream going up in smoke….

Rex suddenly shoves Steel to the floor as he runs across and clatters into Anthony Grace before he can eliminate Kent from the match. He pummels Grace back toward the ropes and then charges at him….

JT: REX IS OVER…

Rex is backdropped over the top rope but he clings onto the ropes for dear life, only one of his feet hitting the floor. Rex drags himself up on the apron again as Grace tries to push him down…

RJ: Rex saved Kent but now he’s staring down the barrel…

JT: And Eddy Kent isn’t killing himself to get across and return the favour….

Eddy Kent finally crawls across the canvass and he low blows Grace which allows Rex to pull himself back under the bottom ropes. There is then a huge commotion from the crowd and Eddy Kent’s eyes widen as he sees Jackson Black taking a seat in the crowd…

RJ: We need Jackson Black was here….we knew he was invited as a guest of 6CWF due to Genesis’ induction into the Hall of Fame this year….

JT: But Eddy Kent is not happy to see his former running buddy…..not happy at all….

Kent is on his feet now and we can hear him yelling “What the (beep) is he doing here? He doesn’t even work here…..this is my show….MY GENESIS….”

RJ: Rex Adamson is trying to pull Kent away from the ropes but he is irate here…

Jackson Black is smirking from the crowd as Rex has to be more forceful and drag Kent around….Kent looks shocked by Rex’s man-handling of him…

JT: Eddy Kent getting a little lost there….

Rex is pointing at his head and telling Kent to focus but the 6WF Champion is staring at Rex with a strange expression on his face…..Kent then shakes his head and turns back toward Jackson Black, Rex is staring at Kent’s back now…

RJ: I’m not a betting man but the eyes, they never lie….

JT: I saw it too….Rex thought about throwing Kent over the top….

RJ: The world title is on the line….he should….

JT: GORE…..GORE…..GORE!

Rex suddenly spins as the claxon goes off and Max Adamson rips through him with the gigantic spear, sparking an almighty response from the audience. Eddy Kent turns in shock and horror before charging forward….

JT: GENESIS….

RJ: DUCKED IT….CYCLONE!

*Crowd pop

JT: OH MY GOD!

RJ: HE DID IT!

The crowd are chanting “Max Adam-son” over and over as he uses the F-5 to launch Eddy Kent over the top rope and down into the aisleway for the elimination….Eddy Kent is sat on the arena floor and he looks beside himself at what has just transpired. Jackson Black is then shown with a huge smile on his face….

JT: Jackson Black enjoyed that….one future Hall of Famer just eliminated another…..they may end up sharing the honours in 2024 but that is twice in the space of one weekend that Max Adamson has got the better of Eddy Kent…

RJ: And he wants to round this weekend off by eliminating Rex and then winning the 6CW Championship once again….

JT: Entering Night of Glory IX to be inducted into the Hall of Fame whilst wearing the 6CW Championship would be beyond a dream for Max Adamson….

RJ: CYCLONE!

Rex is groggy as he stumbles up and Max now scoops him onto his shoulders for the F-5 but Eddy Kent rolls back in the ring now and he almost kicks Max’s teeth from his head with a huge “Genesis Kick”. Eddy Kent looks thunderous as he stares down at Max and then at Rex…

JT: I have no idea if Kent is still angry with Rex for man-handling him, if he’s annoyed with Rex for not preventing him from being eliminated or he’s just furious that Max dumped him from this match….

RJ: There is so much to digest with the whole Genesis saga right now…

Rex and Kent continue to stare at one another before Kent points down at Max and we hear him shouting “This is all for you…..it’s yours to take, all yours”….

JT: Eddy Kent letting Rex Adamson know that the championship is his for the taking now…

Kent turns now and he is climbing from the ring but he isn’t heading for the back, he head’s for the fan enclosure where Jackson Black is…

RJ: I don’t know what it is about Jackson Black’s presence here but Kent is rattled….he’s lost his head…

Security are pouring out and getting in the way as Jackson Black stands, smiling, as Eddy Kent is pointing at him and gesticulating for Black to come down and fight him…

JT: I tell you, this crowd want to see Eddy Kent and Jackson Black fight…

RJ: As far as I am aware Jackson Black is still contracted elsewhere….I’m not sure he can get into it with Kent, he was here as a guest due to the Hall of Fame announcement…

Kent is screaming “You don’t deserve a (beeping) ring, you turned your back on us”…..the cameras pan back toward the ring as Rex Adamson is stood watching the melee…

JT: Is Rex Adamson going to get involved again?

RJ: Eddy Kent didn’t seem pleased when he did last time….he wants Rex to concentrate on the match and the 6CW Championship….

Max Adamson is clutching his jaw as he begins to get back up. Rex is stalking him now and then scoops his Uncle up…

JT: FIRE & THUNDER….

Max kicks his legs and drops off the back before lifting Rex up as he turns around…

RJ: CYCLONE!

Rex is thrown into the F-5 but he lands on his feet and quickly runs off the ropes…

JT: GOR-FAMAXER!

The crowd cheer as Max shows amazing athleticism to jump into the air and counter the spear into the “famea55er”. Max is kneeling now and staring at his nephew…

RJ: Max may be starting to dream….ten years ago he won this match and walked out as 6CW Champion…..will history repeat itself?

JT: First he wants rid of Rex….

Max gets to his feet now, moving gingerly, and then he drags Rex up and pulls him over toward the ropes…

RJ: You can see how much last night took out of Max….he is not looking too hot…

JT: But he’s so close to the finish line….he just needs to dig deep….

Max throws Rex against the ropes and starts to lift him….

RJ: LOOK BEHIND!

Tyler Roth has slid into the ring and he ushers Max around before storming through him with a devastating big boot. Roth slaps Rex in the face, bringing him out of his stupor…

JT: The whole of Genesis are in on it….they want this title….RAINMAKER!

Rex lets Max up and then he ripcords him around and nails a brutal lariat that sends him over the top rope to the outside…

RJ: Max is eliminated…..Rex has tied the record…

JT: Thanks to a major assist from Tyler Roth…

Roth nods at Rex and then he clambers from the ring and heads over toward where the Kent/Black argument is still taking place. Security are advising Black that perhaps he should be escorted backstage…

RJ: The fallout from tonight is going to be huge….I have a list of talking points and I am way onto my second page….

Max is sitting in the aisle and he is staring up at his nephew. Rex glares back and then he motions a belt around his waist and turns his back….

JT: ATTITUDE….

Geoff Steel is waiting and he scoops Rex onto his shoulders and launches him into the AA but Rex somehow lands on his feet and he beckons Steel around….

RJ: FIRE AND THUNDER DRIVER!

Steel is demolished into the canvass by Rex before Anthony Grace spins away from the ropes…

JT: BLOCKBUSTER!

The kick glances off Rex’s chin and drops him to one knee. The crowd are willing Grace on as he drinks in their cheers and then charges forward….

RJ: THUNDERSTRUCK!

JT: HE BROKE THE RECORD……12 ELIMINATIONS!

The Sphere cannot help but applaud as Rex rises up into the attempted “Famea55er” and catches Grace in a powerbomb position before running to the ropes and launching him over the top to the outside….Rex staggers back and falls to a knee…

RJ: I don’t even know what to say….this kid entered at #1, he has eliminated 12 men in 55 minutes…after competing in War Games just last night….

JT: If there were ever any doubts about Rex Adamson, dispel them right now….

The applause and whistles continue and then the claxon sounds and “Born to Fight” hits the airwaves….

RJ: DICEY REILLY IN AT NUMBER 28, WHAT A DRAW….

JT: THE FINAL MEMBER OF TEAM RESISTANCE……

RJ: Rex has eliminated them all so far….can he make it a clean sweep?

On the outside we see GazzyD and Edward Plague setting up two tables and then Plague places a barbed wire board underneath each. He then turns to the 6CW Champion as he drags out a ladder…

JT: I knew they had evil intentions but this is too much….

RJ: Plague wants Dragon gone….he’s too much of a threat…

JT: And he expects Gazzy, despite all the injuries, to climb that ladder…

RJ: Brainwashing 101….

Plague grabs Blue Dragon and smashes his head off the top of the steel steps, blood running down the bridge of his nose, before draping him across the two tables. Gazzy looks battered and bruised as he gazes at Plague with a hint of reluctance but Plague’s eyes travel to the top of the ladder…

JT: Plague doesn’t even have to speak….Gazzy knows what he wants him to do….

Dicey Reilly is in the ring and he blocks a right hand from Rex and begins to pummel him backward into the ropes. Dicey whips Rex across the ring and lowers his head for a backdrop but Rex plants his boot into Dicey’s face….Dicey staggers and Rex rushes him….

RJ: REX GOING OUT….

Dicey sidesteps and uses Rex’s momentum to chuck him over the ropes. Rex lands on the apron, however, and he looks to drive a shoulder thrust through the middle ropes but Dicey gets his knee in the way…

JT: REX IS SWAYING AGAIN…

Rex is teetering as Dicey tries to unlock his hands from around the middle ropes and force him to the outside. Rex is clinging on with every last ounce of his strength and then he drives through the bottom rope with a stomp on Dicey’s shin, sending him staggering away….Rex then clings to the top rope and slingshots himself over…

RJ: BUCKSHOT….CRAICDOWN!

*Crowd pop

JT: Dicey got him…..Rex ate that piledriver!

RJ: Dicey needs to get him up and over…

Dicey sits on the canvass for a moment and he smiles at the reception from the audience before he begins trying to haul Rex up…

The fans are taking pictures as GazzyD is scaling the ladder to hover over Blue Dragon and the two tables underneath…..Edward Plague is staring up at Gazzy and willing him to make the leap…

JT: This will be the end of Blue Dragon and his world title aspirations…

RJ: I think it will be the end of GazzyD as well…

RJ: OH (BEEP)….YOU WANNA TALK ABOUT BIG BUSINESS….YOU WANNA TALK A MOMENT TO REMEMBER…..LADIES AND GENTLEMEN DRINK THIS IN…

JT: GAZZYD JUST FROZE ON THAT LADDER….EDWARD PLAGUE’S A55 JUST DROPPED OUT….

RJ: IT’S HIM…..HE’S HERE…..HE’S BACK….

Every single fan inside The Sphere is rocking as the demonic form of Logan Kincade comes striding out from the back. Kincade looks as barbaric as ever and in his hand he is carrying a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire…

JT: LOGAN KINCADE IS BACK….AND JUST WHEN HIS BROTHER WAS ABOUT TO FEEL THE WRATH OF GAZZYD & EDWARD PLAGUE….

RJ: THIS IS INSANITY….WHAT A MOMENT….I HAVE GOOSEBUMPS!

Edward Plague is forced to come around the ring to confront Kincade but he misses with his attack as Logan drives the chair into his midsection and then slams it across Plague’s back. Plague is on his knees next to the ringpost…..CRACK!

JT: DEAR LORD ALMIGHTY!

Kincade smashes the barbed wire chair into Plague’s head and drives it against the solid steel, leaving him in a bloody mess on the arena floor. Gazzy is staring down from the ladder but he doesn’t seem to have the energy to move…

RJ: GazzyD’s life is flashing before him here….

Blue Dragon has rolled off the table and he finds himself face to his face with his brother. The two men stare at one another and then they walk around and begin to climb the ladder…

JT: GazzyD is froze in place….and there’s nobody to save him…..OH MY GOD!

The noise levels are deafening as Dragon and Kincade wrap their hands around Gazzy’s throat and they double chokeslam him off the ladder through the two tables below, leaving him impaled on the barbed wire underneath…

RJ: GAZZYD IS FINISHED….HE IS BROKEN IN ABSOLUTE PIECES….BLUE DRAGON & LOGAN KINCADE ON THE SAME DAMN PAGE…

JT: 6CWF WILL NEVER BE SAFE AGAIN…

Dragon and Kincade continue to stand on the ladder as referees and EMTs appear in droves to check on the condition of the combatants strewn around ringside…

RJ: I’m not even sure Gazzy will be able to carry on….I think the 6CW Championship might be lost….

JT: DICEY JUST ELIMINATED REX!

Dicey slings Rex over the top rope and both of his feet touch the floor but there are no referees to call it as they are too busy trying to sort out the carnage between Dragon, Kincade, Gazzy and Plague. Rex pulls himself back under the bottom rope…

RJ: I don’t think Dicey even knows what happened there….

JT: He’s going to know in a minute….GORE!

Rex beckons Dicey around and storms at him for the spear but Dicey sidesteps and Rex crashes straight into Geoff Steel…

RJ: THE (BEEP) IS EDDY KENT DOING?

Eddy Kent is back, recognising the danger, and he has the 6WF Title in hand. He swings the gold at Dicey’s head…

JT: HE NAILED REX….I DON’T BELIEVE IT!

Kent cannot believe what has happened as Dicey nails him with a right hand and then he drags Rex up again and this time he makes sure to throw him over the ropes in front of the referees….

RJ: THAT IS MONUMENTAL….REX ADAMSON IS GONE….HE’S OUT….

JT: Twelve eliminations….just under an hour he lasted……but the young superstar’s dreams of leaving tonight as world champion just got extinguished…

RJ: Thanks to Eddy Kent…..what is going on with Genesis?

JT: Eddy Kent is rattled…the Hall of Fame induction was supposed to kickstart a night of celebration, but it’s become a curse…

RJ: RKO!

The crowd are stunned as Dicey’s celebration is cut shot by the leaping cutter from Daniel Reilly. The European Champion is grinning…

JT: The claxon hasn’t even sounded yet…

*Claxon sounds

RJ: There you go…..Reilly jumped the gun…he’s in at #30 and he just ploughed Dicey…

JT: Earlier tonight Reilly survived Exodus thanks to the return of The Coalition….it even seemed like the crowd were warming to the European Champion….

RJ: But a leopard never changes its spots…..Reilly is here to leave as world champion and if he gets to take out Dicey in the process, all the more sweeter….

JT: We now have all our entrants….

RJ: This is it…..Daniel Reilly, Dicey Reilly, Geoff Steel, GazzyD, Edward Plague, Blue Dragon and Logan Kincade…..one of these men leaves tonight as 6CW World Champion…

JT: They’re calling a stretcher down for Gazzy….I don’t think he’s got a hope….

Reilly slithers on the canvass as he waits for Dicey to get back onto his feet. Dicey is slow to stand but Reilly grabs him and runs him toward the ropes…

RJ: DICEY SWITCHED…

Dicey throws Reilly over but the European Champion lands on the apron and then grabs Dicey’s head and guillotines him across the top. Dicey staggers back as Reilly climbs back in and charges toward him….

RJ: RK-NO!

Huge cheers as Dicey puts the brakes on this time and he pushes Reilly away and into the path of Geoff Steel. Steel scoops Reilly on his shoulders and drills him with the AA…

JT: Two men that Daniel Reilly has had big trouble with in recent months…

RJ: Two 6CW legends combining……THAT IS HUGE!

JT: The dream of #30 has turned into a very quick nightmare for the European Champion….

RJ: Dicey Reilly has thwarted Daniel and cost him his chance at the world title….

Reilly is slammed into the canvass and then Dicey drags him up and slings him over the top rope to the outside. Dicey turns now and locks eyes with Steel…

JT: Two of 6CW’s proudest…..Dicey Reilly and Geoff Steel…..this is an incredible moment….

RJ: Both men within touching distance of another reign as 6CW World Champion….

JT: OR NOT!

Blue Dragon and Logan Kincade are suddenly in the ring. Logan grabs Dicey by the throat and BD grabs Steel before drilling them into the canvass with huge chokeslams…

RJ: The Brothers of Destruction, screw your goddamn copyright…..Logan Kincade and Blue Dragon are as formidable a duo as we have ever seen in 6CWF….

Dragon points to Dicey and Logan snarls but accepts the choice. They pull the Irishman up and they launch him over the top…

JT: Dicey Reilly is gone….

Logan and Dragon turn now and they watch as Geoff Steel starts to grab at the ropes to help himself up…

RJ: Geoff Steel is about to turn into a whole world of trouble…

JT: He went to war with Blue Dragon last year…..but I’m not sure anyone survives Dragon & Kincade….

CRACK!

Edward Plague, his whole face covered in blood, is in the ring and he swings the barbed wire steel chair into the skull of Blue Dragon, dropping him in a heap. He then staggers backward from the impact as Logan storms toward him…

RJ: HE PULLED DOWN THE ROPES….KINCADE IS OUT!

JT: FINAL FOUR….

There is shock in the arena as Plague, perhaps unintentionally, grabs the ropes to break his fall and he pulls down the top as Logan topples over him and lands on the floor outside….Kincade looks murderous as security rush to get in front of him…

RJ: Everyone knows how volatile this situation is right now…

JT: BLADECUTTER!

Plague turns away from the ring, where he was grinning at Logan, and he takes a boot to the stomach from Geoff Steel. Steel looks for the piledriver but Plague swipes his feet and then catapults him to the corner. Steel cracks his head off the turnbuckle and staggers back…

RJ: PURIFIER…

Steel flips back over the shoulder of Plague and then beckons him around and scoops him onto his shoulders…

JT: ATTITUDE….HE’S GONE!

There are disappointed faces in the crowd as Plague drops off the back and shoves Steel forward so that Blue Dragon can use his momentum to backdrop him up and over the top rope to the outside…

RJ: That was your pick, Jeff…

JT: It was….Geoff Steel can be damn proud of his efforts here tonight but it just wasn’t to be….so, so close…

RJ: But look at this….it’s almost poetry in motion….Blue Dragon is busted, Edward Plague is a bloody mess but they are staring at one another and ready to tear one another apart….

JT: 6CW CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE LINE….IT COMES DOWN TO THIS!

The two behemoths storm forward and they begin to trade with huge punches. Plague rakes at Dragon’s eyes and then pulls him in…

RJ: PUR…

Dragon drives his knee up into Plague’s bloody face and then grabs him by the neck…

JT: CHOKE….

Plague boots at Dragon’s ribs and then he drags his head down and flips him up….

RJ: BORDER…

Dragon drops out on his feet and he lands a brutal headbutt which sends blood spurting from Plague’s nose. Plague is all at sea…

JT: DEATHNOTE….HE GOT HIM!

The ring shakes and the crowd applaud as Dragon smashes Plague into the canvass with the huge gutwrench slam. Dragon kneels there for a moment and then grins…

RJ: Blue Dragon picked this….he selected this match to cash in his “Key to the Kingdom” shot…..everyone, including me, thought he was crazy….but he believed in himself, believed he was the Alpha, the number one predator in all of 6CWF…..

JT: And that choice is about to be vindicated…..

RJ: DEEP IMPACT!

Nobody can quite believe as a broken, bloody, GazzyD drags himself off the stretcher and rolls into the ring. Blue Dragon is stalking Plague and waiting to launch him from the ring when Gazzy spins him around and kicks him in the gut…

JT: EVERYONE FORGOT THE CHAMPION!

Dragon battles against Gazzy’s grip before he succeeds in swiping his legs. Dragon looks out at the audience and then drops back to catapult Gazzy through the air….

RJ: PLAGUE CAUGHT HIM!

Plague is up and he catches Gazzy in his arms. They two men stare at one another, Plague’s eyes shining from behind his crimson mask…..he then kisses Gazzy on the forehead….

Plague: Your sacrifice will never be forgotten….

JT: OH MY GOD!

Plague suddenly spins around as Blue Dragon gets to his feet and he launches Gazzy through the air….Gazzy collides with Dragon and they both go over the top rope….

RJ: DRAGON IS HOLDING ON…..HE WON’T LET THIS SLIP!

CRACK!

JT: OH MY GOD!

Ding ding ding

“CCClouds” is echoing from the speakers and there is complete and utter shock as the bloodstained Edward Plague drops to his knees in the centre of the ring. He has his arms wide (ala Bray Wyatt) as the cameras focus on his crimson-stained face…..

Michael Bird: Ladies and gentlemen…..the winner of the 2024 Gateway to Glory………..AND NEW 6CW WORLD CHAMPION…………Eeeeddddddddddwwwwaaaaaarrdddddd Pllllllaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggguuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeee!

RJ: He sacrificed Gazzy….he sacrificed the 6CW Champion in order to take the title for his own….I have never….

JT: Plague is besotted by that belt, it means everything to him…

RJ: I cannot believe what we have just witnessed…..all the predictions, all the expectations….but I never saw this coming….

JT: I don’t think anyone did….especially when Logan Kincade returned….it seemed he and Blue Dragon would be unstoppable….but Plague found a way, he showed what he is willing to do, what he is willing to sacrifice in order to keep that 6CW Championship within the family…

RJ: Before tonight Edward Plague had never held championship gold…..he has barely wrestled a match since returning to 6CWF….but he now holds ultimate power in his hands….the shadows are descending….the Plague is spreading through the veins of this company…

JT: For my money the greatest event we have ever witnessed….arguably the greatest match in 6CWF history…..the twists, the turns, the shocks, the trials and tribulations….and when all was said and done, Edward Plague has outlasted all others….

The replays show Blue Dragon clinging to the top rope for dear life when Plague picks up the barbed wire steel chair once more and smashes it over his hands so that he is forced to let go and drop to the outside….

RJ: There are no words….this moment right here will forever…..

JT: And in eight days we will have all the fallout from this incredible two night event….but for right now we will leave you with this image…..Edward Plague is the new 6CW World Champion….

The cameras show an unresponsive GazzyD on the outside, completely unaware of what has happened, as security line the ring to keep a thunderous Logan Kincade and Blue Dragon at bay. Edward Plague continues to kneel as the referee hands him the 6CW Championship and he cradles it like a newborn. Plague then begins to sing “He’s got the whole world in his hands” as the show comes to a close.
