The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current hookers pictures on the bar. We've got Tincu, Ledesma, Ford, Best, Thompson and Bennett all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

That's it. New blockbuster. Shuttle hits Dannys Bar 2.30 in the morning. Three survivors - plus a guitar.

My sister is brilliant.
She's finally decided she'll go watch Scarlets v Leinster with me and give me a lift back home afterwards. All I need to do now is manage to get myself to Llanelli on Saturday.
1st job tomorrow - book a taxi for Saturday to get me to the train station!

Hey, Rav! How are you doing? And Gibbo, of course. Yes, I've selected the mast flying celeste y blanco for the Scotland v Argentina match - you have to go with what your heart tells you.
Just watching a DVD of Coast featuring the Welsh coast from Gower to Anglesey - great stuff. And Neil Oliver's no bad either!

Not feeling too optimistic about Saturday's match for Leinster - too many absentees and injuries. But we have to BELIEVE.

Bruce Parry, Hugs. Just love the way he engrosses himself in everything he does. Without exception. I loved the episode where a Mammy adopted him in the deepest jungle. Went hunting with the main men of the Tribe and he came back with a very small animal. She patted him on the head, smiled and said he would do better next time.
He cried when he left her behind. It was just... beautiful.

Great firewood Hugs. Good Kindle-ing . If a man were to dig a big hole, set it on fire - and cover it with clay. Who knows? People might actually start reading books again.

Bore da pawb / good morning all.
Right, I've read the article Notch posted yesterday - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-15017484 - but not being too clued up on physics (I remember a custard bomb experiment from school but not much else) it didn't mean much to me. But then right at the end of the article, the scientist who made the findings says, "And of course the consequences can be very serious." WHA'?! You can't just say that and not explain yourself! Serious to the credibility of current scientific thinking or serious to the future of the friggin' Universe? Which is it?

It's very serious as if the results are verified independently by other experiments, our understanding of how the universe works could be called into question. Current scientific thinking would have to change!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
The point of Science is that our ideas of how the world works is constantly being refined as new information comes to light. However, this is so unexpected and dramatically different to the accepted orthodoxy that I get the impression it will take several years for other experiments to confirm or deny these findings. There may well be another explanation etc. Either way, it seems that something will come of the data. They have the results now they need to understand why.
