Maybe your cat was simply hungry? What time was it? Breakfast or dinner time?

Had a very strange phenomenon occur here today. 40 degrees... and rain. Never experienced anything like it before. The luke warm raindrops looked more whiter and thicker than usual. A bit like spoof falling from the sky.

Maybe the planet is well and truly phucked? Can't say we haven't been warned.

It's normally oppressively hot before it rains over here. Not recently though. It's miserable again today. Never seen a summer take this long to get going.

Sounds like you're having La Niña - below ave temps, more cloudy weather.
Usually when it's really hot here it's blue skies and sunny but today was hazy and overcast.

Struggling to watch this cricket - just can't get into it at all today. Might be something to do with the fog off the sea? I've never seen that before either.

Could be? One week forecast apparently looks miserable, so that sucks.

Can't get into the cricket either, but thats got more to do with the fact that I've taken a moral stand against watching Mclaren bowl from now on.

Was lying on the lounge floor during a moment of indecisiveness, she was probably checking whether I was still alive. We were playing our scratching/slapping game earlier today and she got a good bite-grip on my hand and tried to drag me across the floor. Think I need to borrow some of your wasps and spiders to set her right as she fears nothing apart from Galtova.

Went to the Schiele exhibition at Somerset House yesterday even though it was raining. Tiny cucumber sandwich, scone, small pot of tea and a coffee came to £10.50, didn't even flinch.

I did actually. The scouser in our club drove the lorry/van. Got bloody soaked. Tech by Tumi needs some of that water resistant spray. Goes through the wash brilliantly though.

The Chrysler is Mrs Window's car really. It's practical for getting the kids around. You have no such excuse.

Ok so 5 is Bay City Rollers Shangalang or summat. Hence why I thought it was Grand Theft Auto (even though I've never played the game and only have a slight hunch that he goes around shooting people up in a place called Bay City).
