First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence

So pull up a chair....what'll it be? appletini

Good try from Wales there. 3 - 18. Makes a change to see a kicker keeping his skull cap on when he kicks.

Aye shame about the missed kick there Cari. Wales looking okay, but still got loads to work on. Italy would be much more of a threat if they didn't keep dropping the ball! They're quite frustrating to watch in this first half.

Lovely try from Eli Walker to close the first half. Missed conversion. To be fair to Matt Morgan, the ball's not staying on the tee.

6 - 28.

I read somewhere Italy lost their top two players before the start of the comp but even with them they look underpowered at this level.

If they find 3-4 decent players through this though, that can be considered a good result.

Saxons pulling away. Feel sorry for Canada but they'll learn from this experience. They'll go to the World Cup the stronger for this. DTH Van der Merwe was missed for those times when they did threaten the English in the red zone.

Well done Jonny Evans.

Everybody did better against the Baby Blacks. To be fair though, it was quite a second team wasn't it? Wales have at least comfortably beaten the other two teams (assuming this game doesn't change).

I don't think he's being a child about it or trying to score any points. Just pointing out the disparity in performances.

Erm what's happening in here?

Everyone should have an Ale

Now 42-6 to Wales in the U20's match. They're playing well, although still making a lot of mistakes that better sides will really punish.

An Italian player has had to be stretchered off, I missed who it was but it didn't look good (think it was a leg injury or something). Hope he's okay.

Matt Mullan showed his pace again today chasing O'Toole down the wing. He can really shift for a prop. Reminded me of this effort:

Not really sure, just saw Bowden-Barrett (is that the fullbacks name?) is on- I only have it on in the background.

It's 15-41 right now.

ah fab try for Rhodri Jones, not often you see a Welsh prop go on a charge like that! 6-49 now.

Rev - agreed, think Italy have been unlucky on a few occasions not to come away with more points.

John, why not chill out? If you're so easy to bait that you pick up insults and taunts when there are none you aren't going to win friends and influence people.

Just seen some of McIlroy's shots thus far. Unreal. The one where it backspun into the hole off a chip was a thing of beauty.

Oh yeah, obviously I'm watching the Golf now. Mainly due to the fact I can't be bothered asking my old dear to change the Sky. Don't mind watching it though.
