On a serious note I'm sorry to hear that mate. Look around airports for a place to live. A house share with some flight crew or something like that. They're away most of the time so you'll get quiet and they'll be too tired to make any noise once home. Plus you might luck out with some pretty foreign bird.

Nah I'm ok, but thanks. Just a poorly organised weekend which relied on me pulling on Saturday night. Yesterday was at my Dad's for his birthday and was going to stay there but didn't fancy a 2 hour drive to work this morning.

Just emailed some bird about a 1 bed flat near the cricket club. Bit pricey but could work.

Bit busy this week in the evenings so gonna have to rearrange jobs I had on for next week. Flat hunting is doing my head in. Saw a really nice house last night but just not sure I can live with 2 strangers.

It really isn't that bad, and if you travel light and ensure you do not have a notice clause you can "Try" it out for a month to see if it is for you...

I have done it a couple of times, and never worked out badly. Though if SERIALDAVE offers, I would be tempted to give it a miss.

I did it a couple of times way back. Shouldn't be too bad if they seem like nice people - and if they work normal hours, and you're out a lot in the evenings, you probably won't see a great deal of them or get in each other's way.
Or maybe those strangers will end up as good friends.

I'm sure Serial Dave will be able to give you some tips there. My suggestion would be to make sure you keep your head under the covers... especially at night.
