6CW UK Title Match-Promo Thread Empty Re: 6CW UK Title Match-Promo Thread

*The scene opens with the general murmur of chatter filling the air of a large conference room as the worlds media gather. The reporters and journalists slowly quieten and start to take their seats as Pauline Hayden, who’s wearing a sharp pant suit and with clipboard in hand, strolls onto the centre of the stage stopping behind a large desk which has been equipped with seats, microphones and bottles of exotic water and the UK championship placed in front of one of the seats.*

PH: Ladies and Gentlemen, I thank you for your patience, I realise that the press conference should have started 45 minutes ago, however I have been informed that Cameron Faith has arrived in the building and we will start imminently.

*The gathered media let out a collective groan at this news which quickly turns to excitement as Cameron Faith strolls out onto the stage surrounded by his entourage. He his dressed in tight jeans, plain t-shirt, weegy cap, shades as well as the Faith and Champ bling chains hanging around his neck. He sits down at the far end of the stage in front og thr UK championship as a couple of members of his entourage pour water for him*

PH: Ladies and Gentlemen, looks like we will starting quicker than expected, but as it appears that James McManus has declined the invitation to join us this afternoon we will move straight to the question and answer stage of the event. I reviewed have all your questions and my client will only answer those have been deemed acceptable by me.

You have each been informed of which questions these are and continued attempts to undermine my client by asking unacceptable questions will result in your removal from this event and being banned from all future events.

*Pauline steps to the sides the journalists all put up their hands until one of the entourage point to a reporter at the front of the queue*

Reporter 1: Lewis Cook, Leeds Wrestling Chronicle here. You have fought in some of the biggest matches in 6WF on some of their biggest nights how do you think a 6CW Night of Glory will compare.

*Faith looks at the reporter before putting on a show of thinking about his answer*

Faith: The truth is everyone looks at the Born if Fire and Night of Glory as the biggest nights in the wrestling calendar because of their flagship status, and there is an element of truth to that but just because there big nights doesn’t mean there great nights. Look back at the Born if Fires that you really remember, the ones that you would class as great, the ones that had that profound effect on your life and you will see they all have one thing in common, ME.

The reason your sitting here pursuing a career as a wrestling journalist is because I made these nights special, I made moments that you will never forget. I mean At Born in Fire I won the Freeweight championship, the European championship, competed in FFTR ladder matches and beat some of the toughest wrestlers around, some of which are now competing in 6CW.

That’s just what I do!!

Just because I am in 6CW now, that’s not going to change. Cameron Faith vs James McManus is gonna be one of the greatest matches in 6CW history, the reason people will remember Night of Glory 2016 as great night.

*The Journalists all start jostling again as the hands raise before another one is picked by the entourage*

Reporter Two: Adrian, from the Spanish Squared Circle magazine, speaking of James McManus where is he and do you have a game plan for the someone as technically gifted as he is?

*A flash of anger passes over Faiths face before he regains composure*

Faith: McManus was invited, you all saw it on twitter. If he chooses not turn up here then you have to ask him why.

As for his chances in this match, as you say he is supposedly the best technical wrestler in the world today, and being truthful I ain’t seen many better, he is a former 6WF European champion, and we know only the truly top talent win that title.

He has the ability to be very good, he really does, but he for all the ticks James McManus has in the positive column there is just one huge black mark negative, he ain’t Cameron Faith.

For that very reason the only game plan I will have when I step into the ring is to walk out still UK champion, to be honest, just like every other time I have faced him.

*Before the journalist get a chance to vie for attention one journalist stands*

Journalist 3: James McClean for the Dublin Times, you talk about James McManus having the ability to go to the top, but many believe that despite all your success, the superstardom you claim to have that you have underachieved and are using that title as an excuse to hide from truly testing yourself against the best.

*Faith stares at Pauline Hayden angrily, before turning to larger members of his crew*

Faith: Security, please remove this man from this press conference and removes his privileges going forward, the guy is obviously as an agenda against James McManus, disrespecting him like that. What a complete and utter B……

Pauline Hayden: *Cough*

Faith: I have won titles wherever I have gone, I have spent the best part of the last three being a champion and you think I have underachieved. I am what made 6WF great, I am what makes 6CW great, and Cameron Faith not being in EWF is the reason that company failed.

I AM THE BIGGEST WRESTLING STAR IN WORLD, SCRATCH THAT I AM JUST THE BIGGEST STAR IN THE WORLD.

If it wasn’t for me the likes of James McManus wouldn’t get a sniff in this business because quite simply no one gives a toss about him. Yet media from all over the world turned up to see what Cameron Faith has to say.

The moment I signed for this company I broke twitter, the performance I put in to win at Night of Glory will break the whole god damn internet.

*Faith points at the reporter being escorted from the room*

Faith: In fact, that’s the press conference over and you blame that wee sh*tebag.

*Faith picks up his UK championship and start to make way to the exit scowling at Pauline Hayden*
