There is a very strong rumour RJVR is coming to Glaws. We have a number of SA signings that will be announced within a few weeks. RJVR is likely to be one of them along with Kriel and Mostert.

He was rumoured earlier in the year on loan but ended up at Sale. Depends who can talk him into joining them, last time Faff trumped Ackerman.

I'd expect Sale to be throwing money at the tight five first and foremost but with the Irish pilfering two of their homegrown backline they'll need a signing. They've got some talent coming through but at least one of the two next off the rank will be pilfered by the Scots.

HKC, which of your locks are you losing to make room for Mostert?

I'm not convinced by Mortest leaving SA just yet, or RJVR going to Glous over Sale.

Thrush is leaving isn't he so guessing Mortest would be his replacement potentially.

Thrush is leaving and the likelihood is he'll end up at Saints. We're also losing Tom Denton, but as he's barely played I don't see that as much of a loss. Mostert has been strongly rumoured for some time, as has Gerbrandt Grobler who was set to join us last year before signing for Munster on a year's contract.

Interestingly, Fissler has tweeted that Sale have moved on from RJVR and has suggested that is good news for us.

Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding being linked with Sale.

I know it comes with baggage but they would be a perfect fit player wise.

Technically Fissler is saying that IF sale are looking at Olding then they are not looking at RJVR.

Sale looking at Olding is a big IF anyway since they have been linked to like 5 clubs already.

No, he's still with us, but can't get in the side ahead of Polledri or Ackerman, both of whom are playing very well.

From what I have seen Ackerman and Pollerdri look more balance all round players than Moriarty

Most the clubs they've been linked with have come out and stated they aren't interested. Clermont for instance. Diamond likes a bargain and isn't afraid of baggage so his interviews over the weekend may be illuminating as he normally tells it as it is.

Moriarty will do well to get back in amongst that Glaws back row this season. They are playing well and he has been in and out with injuries all season.

True but I can see Olding filling in the 15 spot instead of the so called Izzy rumour than Olding being instead of RJVR.

I think that's a good call Welly. JOC might well be fit enough to play more at 15 next season but losing Haley and Addison has meant they are light on cover at centre and 15. They've been light at 10 for a while so if Olding can slot in there as well then that'd be a bonus.

Good signing for them. I wonder if Ackerman Snr sees something of himself in Grobler.

We've been expecting this for some time, but it is fantastic to finally confirm. Our backrow will be outstanding next season.

The Beeb have confirmed Grobler joining, albeit the club hasn't, but it does sound like its a done deal. A few more signings to come..,.

If he's staying in the AP why leave wasps? They've lost Lozowski and Cips now, plus their other 10 is getting on a bit. Do they have any other roptions?

Lima Sopoanga us joining in a big money deal. Plus Gopperth the development flyhalf they spent money signing from Tigers the other year plus someone from Bedford.

Myler and Stepenson I would be pleased with. Foden a bit more mixed. I want to see Parton get game time at 15 next year and Foden's not quite the player he was.

Not good enough considering the amount of debt they are accumulating. Still no silverware and I'd be surprised if they win any this year.

Saints signings do not seem to match the players leaving, are their more in the pipeline or are they on a books balancing exercise. Allowing for Biggar equalling North a number of signings but few major ones.

They do have some serious talent coming through though, could be the makings of a good squad for 2020.

I'd assume there's some more signings to be announced for Saints. They certainly need some particularly in the pack. They've been mainly thinning the squad which should benefit the young talent and with a new big name winger and flyhalf coming in to replace North and Myler then it's really just up front and your assume there's some money available.

Rumours earlier this season that he'd fallen out with the Quins management so I wonder if he's looking at focussing on his club game now.

It's a shame as he is a quality winger and a regular scorer for club and country.

Nope, just a daft Rugbypass article with 'confirmed' in it somewhere, that seemed to set the wheels in motion.

Semantics as it's almost certainly happening, but certainly not confirmed by anyone yet.
