Well no one else is doing one, so I thought I would put it on here.

Will Wales get the Grand Slam ? Are France too good ? Will Wales win the title ?

Wales obviously need to win the game for a grand slam, but a draw or two losing bonus points would see us win the title, if France win with a bonus point and deny us anything, then they would need to take all points on offer against Scotland for the title. If Wales deny France a bonus point, but they win, then then get 5points from the Scotland game, then it will come down to points difference.

Wow that makes my head hurt. In my opinion, Wales need to just try and beat France, to avoid any permutations. It's going to be a nail biter that's for sure so lets fasten ourselves in and hope for the best. What do you all reckon ?

Wales should have taken the scrum before the final penalty. Would have killed a good 30 seconds to 1 minute even setting it up.

Disagree on the last bit. We’ve played better. France’s choice to be passive at the rucks made us look better than previous matches, IMO.

I thought iy would be a close game, but i honestly thought Wales would win in the last 10 minutes. I truly never expected France to score in the very last minutes of the game.

Hard luck Wales no Grand Slam but surely the best team in this years 6ns.

Yep, France need to win with the TBP by 21 points or more.

France are definitely capable of that. Scotland are also capable of preventing them. France will have more to play for though. Should be a helter skelter match. France will obviously come out hard running everything and Scotland will most likely follow suit.

Yeah, we didn’t make ground like that all tournament. They didn’t seem to flood the ruck like other teams did/do. We made lots of ‘hard’ yards today around the ruck whereas against 14 Irish, for example, we were battered and had to go wide. But hey ho. I’m not too gutted to be honest.

That’s my point Carlos. France went chasing the 4 tires tonight and they struggled. Next week they need to chase the 4 tries again and win by 21 or more. That could play right into Scotland’s hands who have nothing to play for really. France forcing it could be their undoing.

I remember that game.  SA came from 31-6 down to lead at the end and were moving backwards trying to run the clock down when they gave the penalty away.  Was Beale who kicked it though.

Ah that's really tough on Wales, commiserations but at least you've enjoyed a few Grand Slams in recent years. Warburton and Roberts speak well, in fact Jonathan Davies who's not always known for his impartiality remained impressively level-headed.

Lots of big refereeing calls but to the letter of the law they seemed to be mostly correct and were awarded fairly evenly to both sides. I've not much more to say other than a brilliant game to cap off* a surprisingly entertaining tournament given the circumstances

What can I say after that game?! Such a fantastic game! High tempo from the start, and had everything! Brilliant game!

I am absolutely gutted we couldn't get the slam, but full credit to France for hanging in there and clinching it at the end.

Got to say, I thought Luke Pearce ref'd the game brilliantly - really encouraged the high tempo, and did all he could to keep the game flowing, consistently telling both sides to use the ball as soon as it was available.
