Worked really nicely. When Slade gets that ball he's got three passing options Smith, Marchant and Steward. The longer pass takes out the Bok backrow. Much nicer attacking shape.

Yeah, think the referee did warn England before they looked at the screen for possible foul play.

That's not a penalty. I think the ref has lost the plot and just defaults pen to SA now.

Quirke trying to clear Vermuelen out and him not moving a millimetre feels like a good picture of how SA have won the collisions.

That was the worry. England have thrown almost exclusively to the front. That's not a team confident in their lineout.

I don't think we'll be seeing Dolly in an England shirt anytime soon.

So did Blamire last week. Judging by England throwing entirely to the front with Blamire he hasn't been doing great either.

I said when selected in the training squad that Dolly doesn't look an international hooker to me though.

How was that not a knee drop on Smith? That's a very lucky Bok still to be on the pitch.
