*We get the usual show opener as the audience go wild for the start of the event. There is a plethora of pyrotechnics as the commentators welcome us and recap us on all goings on from last week’s show and remind us that Uryu Ishida is calling the shots this evening, as per 6CWF management. We head backstage and we see three separate locked doors where we are led to believe that Edward Plague, Blue Dragon and Logan Kincade have been confined for the past 24 hours without food or daylight ahead of their deadly “Monsters Ball” bout for the 6CW World Championship in the main event.

We immediately head backstage as Uryu has arrived early and is being interviewed by Clarissa. Uryu says that unlike some of his predecessors he has no desire to “switch things up” here tonight or make it any more difficult than it has to be. He is asked about his decision to call for “Monsters Ball” tonight and asked to answer Edward Plague’s taunt that it is merely because he couldn’t beat Plague himself. Uryu says “maybe that’s true but Edward Plague should be more concerned with his opposition tonight than me”.

Clarissa also asks about Uryu stating his preference to aim for the “Xtreme” division now that it is set to return at Night of Glory. Uryu says it has been a turbulent 12 months but in that time he has more than proven his heart and fight which he believes will serve him well in the revitalised division. Uryu says he has proven he is afraid of absolutely nobody and when the announcement comes as to how the “Xtreme” will return at Night of Glory, he will be at the front of the queue. There is a cough from the side as Marty Helms is arriving for the show. Helms glares at Uryu and then smirks as he heads into the arena. Uryu watches Helms leaves and then he bows to Clarissa and says he needs to get ready for his match tonight because “absolutely anything could happen”.

Jack Reynolds: My guest at this time….the 6CWF European Champion and Fight for the Right Finalist, Daniel Reilly!

*The crowd boo as Reilly and Oliver Keane swagger into the camera shot.

Reilly: Let the King correct you there, Jack, because you missed a few key elements to that introduction…..future FFTR briefcase holder and soon to be a three time world champion….Night of Glory show stealer…you can continue now…

*Reynolds is looking from Reilly to Keane and back again

Reynolds: Ok……Reilly, in just a few minutes you will face Rex Adamson in the “Fight for the Right” semi-final and…

*Reilly holds his hand up to silence the interviewer and readjusts his championship belt on his shoulder

Reilly: And nothing….Daniel Reilly isn’t here to talk about the “ifs” “whys” and “hows”….just know that I will win, I always win….with Oliver Keane, the King’s right hand man, back by my side….nobody is a match for…

*Reilly suddenly stops as Uryu Ishida comes walking into shot

Uryu: I’m glad you mentioned Oliver….

*Keane’s eyes narrow now

Uryu: As you gentlemen will be aware I am in charge of tonight’s event…

*Reilly looks annoyed now as they wonder what the reason is behind this conversation

Uryu: And I like to think I’m a man of honour…

*Reilly snorts at this and mutters “Wife stealer”

Uryu: Quite….so anyway here is how it’s going to be…..no “ifs” “whys” or “hows”…….tonight Daniel Reilly versus Rex Adamson will be one on one….no outside interference…..no managerial influence….Oliver Keane, you are banned from ringside, and if you do appear at ringside during the match….Reilly is out of the tournament….good luck, champ!

*Reilly looks furious and the crowd can be heard cheering as Uryu walks off. Keane is shaking his head.

*The Genesis Express Bus has pulled up outside the arena and we see all members climbing off. Rex Adamson is in a green & black tracksuit and looks ready to fight as Eddy Kent pulls him to one side. Kent has a request after the “mishap” last week and he wants to run it by Rex. Rex tells Kent, surprisingly, that it “will have to wait”. Kent looks a bit taken aback but Rex places a hand on his shoulder and says “First I’ll smash Reilly, for any disrespect he has ever put on Genesis, and then, whatever it is, I’ll take care of business”. Kent smirks as Rex nods at him and heads into the arena, immediately walking toward the tunnel for his fight with Daniel Reilly. Eddy Kent puts the 6WF Championship belt on his shoulder now and he stares at Tyler Roth and Michael Sweetwater as the scene comes to an end.

Bout 1
Fight for the Right
Daniel Reilly vs Rex Adamson

*We get a recap on the FFTR tournament thus far with highlights of Rex defeating Chris Patricks & Uryu Ishida before Daniel Reilly’s victories over Anthony Grace & Dicey Reilly. At ringside Reilly is making his entrance. We get a shot of Oliver Keane watching backstage, scowling at Uryu’s decision to ban him from ringside. Reilly clambers into the ring and poses with his European Championship, kissing the gold and smirking at the boos from the audience.

*Rex Adamson hits the stage now and there are cheers amongst smattering of boos for the youngster. He snaps the straps on his singlet and pounds his chest before running down to the ring. Reilly throws his belt aside and tries to get the jump on his opponent but Rex drops his shoulders and storms in to a double legged takedown. Adamson drives punches and forearms down into the face of his opponent. Reilly tries to wrap his legs and apply some kind of choke on the floor but Rex shows incredible power to seize the legs of the European Champion and he hauls him off the deck and just launches him at the ropes. Reilly clatters into them and almost goes over but he clings on as Rex then storms at him and clotheslines him over the top to the outside.

*Rex leaps from the ring after Reilly and he slams his head off the ringside barrier before spinning him around and crashing him through the steel steps. The commentators talk about how Rex is all fired up and is looking to book his place in the final as quickly as possible. Rex shows his strength now as he benches Reilly in the air and chucks him back into the ring. The young Australian clambers up the turnbuckle now and he walks along the ropes before leaping off with a front dropkick which sends Reilly bouncing all the way across the ring. Rex rolls backward onto his feet and he ushers Reilly up before sprinting out for the “Gore” but Reilly sidesteps at the final minute to send Rex into the turnbuckle. Reilly nails an inverted headlock backbreaker and covers for a two count.

*Reilly rakes his boot in Rex’s face and stomps all over him now whilst trash talking his opponent. “You just don’t get it….you may be destined for greatness but I’m already there”…..Reilly heads for the corner now and climbs but Rex is already up. Rex grabs him by the throat and then just launches him off the top rope to the canvass. Reilly holds his spine as he stumbles up and Rex takes him off his feet with a huge discus lariat for a near fall. Rex drags Reilly up and looks to flip him for a powerbomb but Reilly lands out on his feet and nails a European uppercut. He kicks Rex in the gut and tries to flip him for a fallout neckbreaker. Rex kicks his feet and drops off the back before pulling Reilly down into a backslide for two.

*Reilly looks to leapfrog as they rise but Rex catches him in a powerbomb position and drops him into a modified backbreaker. Rex hauls Reilly back up and underhooks both arms before flipping him into a sit-down powerbomb for a close one. Rex beckons Reilly to his feet and he lifts him on his shoulders for the “Fire/Thunder” Driver but Reilly scrambles and kicks before dropping over the ropes onto the apron. He seizes Rex’s head and guillotines him across the top rope, staggering him. Reilly then pulls Rex back toward him and he stuns the audience as he drags Rex through the middle rope and drops off the apron to the arena floor with a horrific hangman’s DDT. The referee is immediately on the outside to check on Rex’s condition and to see if he is still conscious.

*Reilly shoves the official away and he kicks Rex in the head before launching him back in the ring. He makes the cover and hooks the leg but Rex, shockingly, kicks out. Reilly looks annoyed as he slams punches down into Rex’s head and then gets up. The official is again checking on Rex’s condition but the Genesis member is keen to get to his feet. Reilly rushes in and looks for the RKO but Rex shoves him away and then rips through him with a huge “Gore” which sparks cheers from many of the fans. Rex drags himself over and drops into a cover but Reilly is able to get his foot across onto the ropes. JT believes the damage done by the apron DDT scrambled Rex’s senses.

*Rex stumbles to his feet now and the ropes keep him upright. He signals for Reilly to stand and tries to scoop him onto his shoulders but Reilly is able to elbow his way to safety. Rex runs into the corner but eats double knees to the face. Reilly lifts himself onto the second rope but Rex grabs his legs and pulls them out, causing Reilly to crash into the canvass from a height. Rex then circles the ring and runs back in with a huge imploding splash (ala Jack Swagger). He covers but Reilly is just able to get a shoulder up before the count completion.

*Reilly crawls to the corner for a breather as Rex sprints in again for a cannonball splash but Reilly rolls under the ropes as he collides with the turnbuckle and rolls away. The Euro Champ scales the ropes now and launches off with a frogsplash across the prone body of Rex. He hooks both the legs and has a smirk on his face but that soon turns to disgust as Rex is able to kick out. Reilly confronts the official now and wants to know why it wasn’t a three. He spits in disgust and then he seizes Rex’s ankle to apply the submission. Rex yells in pain and scrambles for the ropes but Reilly drags him back and ups the ante. Rex turns on his back and uses his leg strength to shove him backward across the canvass. Rex gets back to his feet as Reilly runs toward him but he shows immense power to tilt-a-whirl him up on his shoulders and into a shoulderbreaker. Reilly rolls to the corner and Rex crushes him with a cannonball splash before covering him for a two.

*A “This is awesome” chant is ringing all around as Rex sits for a moment and contemplates. He then draws cheers as he kicks up onto his feet and heads for the corner. Rex has high flying on the mind but Reilly shoves the referee into the ropes and it causes Rex to lose his balance and fall into a crotched position. Reilly clambers up and nails a European uppercut before scoring with a superplex which shakes the ring. Reilly drags Rex back to his feet and follows up with a fallout neckbreaker from shoulder height (ala Randy Orton) and makes the cover but Rex, once more is equal to it and able to kick out.

*Reilly rolls from the ring and he grabs the European Champion before rolling back in. He is preparing to attack Rex as the referee steps in and drags the belt away from him. Reilly looks ready to attack the official but he is lifted into an electric chair position by Rex and dropped into a German suplex (Croyt’s Wrath) for a two. Rex staggers to his feet and tries to bench Reilly up into the air and drop him out into a spear/spinebuster (ala Goldberg) but Reilly is able to fall behind and he stomps on the back of Rex’s leg before reapplying the anklelock. Rex is yelling in pain as Reilly twists the appendage at a horrific angle. The young Genesis member contemplates tapping out but at the final moment he thrusts himself into a forward roll which sends Reilly through the ropes and out on the apron.

*Rex is holding his ankle and looks in a lot of pain as he tries to get up. Reilly gets up on the apron and steps through the ropes as Rex rushes over and he catches Reilly’s head to return the favour with a hangman’s DDT off the second rope. Rex pulls Reilly away from the ropes and covers but the European Champion is able to kick out. Rex slowly rises, wincing as he puts weight on his ankle, and he ushers Reilly to his feet before trying to lift him for the “Fire/Thunder” Driver. Reilly falls off the back and he makes a grab for Rex’s bad leg, picking it up off the mat. Rex hobbles on one leg before Reilly slams the bad ankle down into the canvass. He then leaps for the RKO but Rex shoves him away and the referee takes the knock. Rex clatters into Reilly from behind and looks to ripcord him around into a “Rainmaker” lariat but Reilly ducks and this time he nails the RKO.

*Reilly makes the cover but realises the referee is out. He looks furious as he tries to shake the official awake but to no avail. Reilly rolls from the ring and grabs his title belt again. He ushers Rex up and swings the belt at his head but Rex ducks and runs the ropes before scoring with a “Gore” as he comes back. “Born to fight” hits the airwaves and the crowd are on their feet as Dicey Reilly starts walking down the ramp. Rex looks confused as he drags Reilly up and he plants him with the “Fire/Thunder” Driver. Dicey then takes the jersey off the unconscious referee and puts it on before counting the three. The bell sounds and the audience applaud but the commentators aren’t sure this can be legal. Rex rolls from the ring, barely making eye contact with Dicey, and raises his arms before hobbling into the aisleway. JT is still questioning the legitimacy of the call but, as of right now, it seems the decision is going to stand and Rex Adamson is a FFTR Finalist.

*Dicey is smirking and nodding his head at the reception of the audience as he bends down and picks up the European Championship belt. He stares at it for a long moment as Daniel Reilly staggers up. Reilly turns and he sees Dicey, referee jersey on, and he seems to swell with rage. Spittle flies from his mouth as he storms forward but Dicey is ready for him and smashes the championship belt into his face, sparking another roar from the audience. Dicey kneels down next to Reilly now with the European Championship in hand. He places the belt on Reilly’s chest and rolls from the ring now. He raises an arm to the audience as he heads for the ramp and we see Oliver Keane scurrying down the side and into the ring to help Reilly and console him on what has just taken place.

Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30) Empty Re: Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 17 Apr 2024, 7:38 pm

*Dicey swaggers backstage with a big smile on his face and Uryu is there. Uryu says it’ll probably come as no surprise and he knows the fans want to see it so he is proud to have the honour of announcing Daniel Reilly versus Dicey Reilly at Night of Glory IX for the 6CWF European Championship. Dicey smirks as he cracks a can of Guinness and downs the whole thing. He pats Uryu on the chest and says “Not bad, kid, not bad”. Uryu shakes his head as Dicey walks off whistling “Final Countdown” by Europe.

*We once again get a view of the “enclosures” of Blue Dragon, Edward Plague and Logan Kincade as we get more build-up for the huge main event. The scene then switches to a very agitated GazzyD. Gazzy is pacing back and forth and keeps looking at his mobile phone but doesn’t seem to be getting the response he wants. He lets out a deep sigh as a knock comes at the door and the show runner is giving him the green light to head out to ringside for his upcoming match. The commentators talk about Gazzy having no contact with Edward Plague now for 24 hours, so who is he trying to reach? Gazzy leaves the locker-room and we see a hooded figure watching him.

*O’Callaghan is standing by with Clarissa and the Dubliner is as full of himself as ever. “2-0 baby with strike three on the horizon, O(beeping)’Callaghan is back”. Clarissa wants to know exactly what and where OC is targeting with “Night of Glory” so close on the calendar. OC laughs at this and says “Whatever the f*** I want, believe that…the Mac’O’Daddy can have any match, any opponent I damn well please….printing money, put me on any goddamn poster because I sell more PPVs than the rest of these fools. 6CWF brought me back because it’s sound f***ing business, I sell, I make it rain for the rest of these little peasants”. Clarissa is rolling her eyes as it is clear that O’Callaghan isn’t giving any coherent or logical answers to her questioning. OC starts conducting the crowd now as they hum his theme tune and he struts toward Gorilla, ready to put on a show.

Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30) Empty Re: Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30)

Bout 2
GazzyD vs O'Callaghan

*Major reception from the audience as O’Callaghan makes his grand entrance amidst pyros and the crowd humming his theme tune. He stands and conducts them, grinning as he does so, before making his way to the ring and climbing inside. The commentary team are talking about OC’s unbeaten return to 6CWF and his victories over Daniel Reilly & Mike Masters but what is the plan for Night of Glory? We are a month away and as of yet it is unclear the direction the Irishman is heading. JT believes that given OC’s form and a potential win tonight over GazzyD then surely he’ll have his pick of what he does on the grandest stage.

*The crowd boo the arrival of Edward Plague’s right hand man, GazzyD. The former fan favourite walks out on the stage and it is clear from his appearance that he is distracted. JT reminds us that Christy James is very close to her due date and there no doubting that Gazzy & Plague’s alliance is not as tight as once was. Gazzy does not look like a man with his mind on the job at hand as he circles the ring. He walks over to the timekeeper area now and we see him in discussion with Allie Thompson (6CWF’s timekeeper and Christy James’ friend). Gazzy turns away now and climbs up into the ring as RJ wonders what that chat was all about.

*OC invites Gazzy up into the ring and it is clear to see the sheer difference in confidence levels between the two athletes. The bell sounds and they lock up. O’Callaghan immediately takes the back of Gazzy and then drops to one knee to bridge him over onto the mat. He applies a rear chinlock as Gazzy fights against the grip and tries to get back to his feet. OC lets Gazzy stand and then armdrags him back to the deck. He beckons Gazzy up again and takes him down with a second armdrag before launching him into a hiptoss on the third go round. Gazzy looks frustrated as he gets back up but OC drops to a knee and slides behind again to take the back. He lifts Gazzy off the canvass again and plants him on the deck, keeping him grounded with a big smile on his face.

*OC transitions to the front facelock now as Gazzy tries to press himself back to a standing position. O’Callaghan is able to twist Gazzy’s arm and ties it up behind his back before applying a standing armlock. Gazzy yells in pain but turns his body enough so he can aim a kick at his opponent’s ribcage, winding him. Gazzy pulls free now and he delivers a slap to OC’s face, almost in anger at being outwrestled. OC staggers but then grins as he rams a forearm into Gazzy’s face and whips him to the corner. He runs in but Gazzy drives his feet up into OC’s face. Gazzy lifts himself onto the second rope and jumps off but O’Callaghan catches him and immediately launches him into an overhead belly to belly. Gazzy bounces across the canvass and rolls to the outside, looking like he may just walk out on the match.

*OC conducts the audience as they hum his theme tune and then he walks to the ropes and feints to catapult outside onto Gazzy. Gazzy steps back in the aisleway and looks annoyed. OC dismisses him now and turns away, which prompts Gazzy to slide back in and attack him from behind. He whips OC off the ropes and decks him with a dropkick. O’Callaghan stumbles up as Gazzy nails him with a faceplant suplex and then clambers onto the second rope to deliver a legdrop which gains him a two count. Gazzy rags OC up and tries to hook his arms in place for “Deep Impact” but O’Callaghan swipes his legs and tries to apply the sharpshooter. Gazzy rakes OC’s eyes to break the submission and then he gets up and nails the “History Maker” (inverted twist of fate) but OC kicks out.

*Gazzy sits for a moment and looks annoyed before he rolls back to his feet. He pulls OC closer to the corner and looks for the starship pain but lands across the knees of O’Callaghan as he drives them upward. Gazzy is winded now as O’Callaghan clambers up and drills him with a huge backdrop driver, crushing Gazzy on the back of his neck. OC smirks at Gazzy as he heads for the corner and he pulls himself on high before launching himself into a spectacular 360 splash. OC makes the cover again but Gazzy’s resilience is on display as he manages to kick out.

*O’Callaghan drags Gazzy up and looks for a suplex but Gazzy is able to float over the back. He attempts “Downtown” (Skull Crushing Finale) but OC swings around and counters with a northern lights suplex for two. They scramble back up and OC sidesteps Gazzy and lashes a kick into his spine which sends him sprawling across the middle rope. OC motions to the crowd what is coming and he runs the ring for the 619 but as he swings back through the ropes Gazzy rolls away and he springboards onto the adjacent ropes for a lionsault which crushes O’Callaghan as he is swinging back through. The crowd are on their feet and applauding the exceptional move.

*O’Callaghan rolls to the corner now as Gazzy runs in and nails a rope assisted slingshot dropkick to his seated opponent (ala Jeff Hardy) before seizing the top rope and he scores with the split-legged moonsault but once more O’Callaghan is able to kick out, much to the crowd’s delight and Gazzy’s annoyance. Gazzy is staring at the referee and then once again he casts a look over at the timekeeper before focusing back on OC. He beckons him up and looks for the “Deep Impact” but O’Callaghan swipes his legs and catapults him to the corner. Gazzy lands on the middle rope but OC quickly swivels on his heel and he runs to the corner to nail a modified 619 which kicks Gazzy’s legs out from under him and causes him to crumple on the turnbuckle. OC climbs up behind him now and delivers an inverted headlock suplex from the ropes. He makes the cover but Gazzy is just about able to kick out.

*OC stalks Gazzy now and he tries to apply the coquina clutch but Gazzy drops to a knee and manages to sling O’Callaghan over his shoulder. They scramble back up and Gazzy looks for a quick kick but OC catches his foot and nails a dragon screw before trying to apply the sharpshooter but O’Callaghan uses both feet to kick him away and across the canvass. They both get back up and Gazzy ducks a lariat and springs off the ropes for a dropkick but OC catches his legs in midair and slams him down before succeeding in applying the sharpshooter. Gazzy is yelling in pain and clearly in distress as he tries desperately to get to the ropes. After nearly a minute he is able to get there and break the hold. Gazzy rolls out on the apron to gather himself but OC thunders into him from behind with a baseball slide kick to the spine which sends him sprawling across the arena floor.

*O’Callaghan pulls Gazzy up and drags him toward the ring again but Gazzy switches his feet up and slams OC’s head against the ringpost before chucking him back into the ring. OC staggers up in the corner as Gazzy nails a rope-assisted step up enzeguiri (ala Del Rio) before he lifts OC up on the top rope. Gazzy clambers up after him, OC is seeing stars, and he begins to hook his arms in place. JT says “He’s thinking top rope “Deep Impact” this is a wrap”…..suddenly Allie Thompson (the timekeeper) is up and she is waving her arms in Gazzy’s direction and trying to grab his attention. She’s pointing at her phone and we hear her shout “She’s in labour”…..Gazzy looks stunned as he drops off the turnbuckle, leaving OC sat there, and he drops through the ropes to quickly rush backstage. The referee looks confused but has no choice but to count Gazzy out and award the match to O’Callaghan.

*The commentators are talking about what we have just seen and heard. It seems Christy and Gazzy’s daughter is about to be born. O’Callaghan is smiling, clearly still dazed, as he is declared victorious and remains sitting on the turnbuckle to conduct the audience. He holds up three fingers to signify “3-0” since his return. What awaits him at Night of Glory?

Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30) Empty Re: Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 17 Apr 2024, 7:47 pm

*Backstage and we are in the middle of a heated argument taking place inside JJ Johnson’s office.

Acer: Are you (beeping) for real? Maybe just once….just one time you could have listened….I don’t want to drag up the months I told you and Brandi told you that James couldn’t be trusted….but last week? Did you just look at the massive sign that said “THIS IS A TRAP” and just thought “I’m JJ Johnson, playa, ain’t nobody gone trap me”….

*JJ looks at Saint and despite Saint being annoyed with Johnson he has to stifle a smirk

JJ: You done?

*Acer glares at him

Acer: You have no idea…

Saint: Guys….

*JJ and Acer are staring at each other now

Saint: “Afternoon”……

*Acer & JJ exchange looks now

Saint: As angry as I am with Jay as well, that was some stupid s*** mate….arguing and bickering amongst ourselves achieves absolutely nothing….we all know this….this is exactly what Clarke James and his two horsemen of the Douchepocalypse want, playing straight into their hands…

JJ: Aight, I get it….look I’m sorry….last week was stupid, I got carried away, emotions and all that s***….you right….

Acer: Did he just say I’m right?

Saint: Sounded like it, unless I just had a stroke….

JJ: F*** you both….

*Laughter all round

JJ: I said what I said and I ain’t repeating it but here me now….we brothers, I love y’all….words cannot describe what it means for you both to be here by my side, ready to walk through the fire…

Saint: Oh please don’t get emotional…..

Acer: This sounds a bit g@y mate in all honesty…

*JJ glares at his friends now

JJ: I’m about to go to war with you two mother****ers instead right now, why you doing me like that? This serious….

*Acer and Saint try to remain straight faced

Acer: You’re right, that’s on us….sorry….please, mate, continue…

*JJ stares at them but they all break out laughing now

Saint: Is this going to be one of those really whack rallying calls?

JJ: Don’t say “whack”….

Saint: Why not?

Acer: You’re not black enough….

Saint: I’m not black at all….

Acer: Exactly….

JJ: You a 6’6 Goldberg looking mother****er, you may as well own a motor home and live on a park….

Saint: F*** you….

JJ: F*** me? Man, f*** you….all up in here spouting “whack”….

*Acer suddenly slams his hand on the desk

Acer: …Lads please….

JJ: You was gone say it….

Acer: Say what…

JJ: Homie, you know I know….

Acer: No f***ing way…..I would never…

Saint: What?

JJ: This Randy Marsh looking mother****er was about to go all Jesse Jackson on us….

*Saint pretends to be gobsmacked

Saint: No way…

Acer: Like hell I was….I wouldn’t….

JJ: I seen it in yo eyes….you can’t pretend…

Acer: Can we just be serious for a minute?

JJ: Chill out, Lance Storm…..I was trying to be serious from the get go until you two d1ckheads starting talking s***…

Saint: What are we doing here?

Acer: JJ was apologising….

JJ: Man f*** you….I already did…

*Acer smirks as JJ holds up his hands

JJ: Look I can see you two have reached the highest heights of a55hole here tonight so what else do I need to say?

Saint: Could try saying sorry….

JJ: MotherF***er…..

*Saint and Acer are laughing as they duck from the room in time to avoid JJ launching a clock at the wall

JJ: Tick Tock b1tches!

*Champagne is flowing as Rex Adamson returns to the Genesis dressing room. Eddy Kent wants to toast Rex winning the FFTR semi-final and his future as the 6CW World Champion. Rex takes a glass and downs it before Kent snatches a glass out of Sweetwater's hands and tells him "After the match, Sweety". Tyler Roth claps Rex on the shoulder like a proud brother and motions the belt around his waist as Rex grins. Eddy Kent is positioning the 6WF belt around his waist now and he wants a quiet word with Rex.

Kent: You're ready?

Rex: I am...

*Kent smiles

Kent: A son that any father would be proud of.....together we will make history.....the future I am paving will one day be yours, remember that!

*Kent claps Rex on the shoulder and beckons for Sweetwater to follow him. Rex reaches for another glass of champagne and looks deep in thought.

*Geoff Steel is doing some final prep for tonight’s huge “Xtreme” tag match when a shadow passes over him. He stands up and finds himself face to face with Marty Helms. The two former world champions stare at one another and Helms says:

Helms: Heard you are returning to “Xtreme”?

Steel: That’s right…..

*Helms smirks

Helms: Usually a decision like that should be commended but it’s a shame you are only doing it because you haven’t managed to get the job done in any other division in the last 12 months….the nearly guy…..the fall guy….

*Steel shows no level of intimidation

Steel: Are you here for a reason, Marty? Because this whole stand-off, abstract, obtuse back and forth is boring…..you want to fight? Because I’ll be out there later, same match as you….we can talk about it then….

*Helms smirks as he backs away

Helms: Oh I’ll be there, unfortunately for you…

*Helms walks off and leaves Steel with a determined look on his face

*Alex Walker is looking contemplative in his office when the door opens and all three members of Exodus walk in.

Walker: Clarke, I was just about to…

*James slams the railroad spike into Walker’s desk

CJ: Save it, Alex…..

*Walker immediately goes silent

CJ: Ten days since the last show….no texts, no phonecalls….it kind of feels like you’re avoiding me…

*Walker makes a noise but no coherent words come out

CJ: Here we are, a month away from finally removing JJ Johnson from complete power…..6CWF in the hands of Exodus….everything we planned, all the schemes and plotting behind closed doors ready to reach out and make it a reality…..you wanted 6CWF, Alex, and here we are….ready to give you what you want….and you are back here, ignoring my calls and drinking yourself into a stupor…..cold feet?

Walker: No, not at all….

*Clarke raises an eyebrow

CJ: Then what? I know you don’t approve of my choice of allies…

*Walker looks at PJ & Lex

Walker: It’s not…..me and Lex, so much history….there’s no…

*CJ is running his fingers around the top of the spike, taking Walker’s attention from his words

CJ: Spit it out, Alex….because we had a deal….6CWF for you, world championship for me….now I’ve put you on the precipice, once we defeat The Coalition at Night of Glory….the company is yours….and yet…

*James looks down at his beltless waist

Walker: The Fight for the Right….

CJ: An opportunity I have forged myself…..when I win this tournament and become world champion I will have achieved my goal, without you….so remind me, Alex, exactly why we are still an alliance?

*Walker looks fearful now

Walker: Because….Clarke, because…

*James holds up a finger to silence Walker now

James: Don’t….it was a rhetorical question, Alex…..I already have an answer in my head……whether you like that answer, well that is still to be determined…

Walker: I am still…..on board, committed….fully…

*James looks at Lex and Perfect Jack with a smirk

CJ: Was he like this with Genesis?

*Lex shakes his head

Lex: Quite the opposite…..he never shut up….and that’s why Leone was able to bring us down…

*James’ eyes glint with malice now

CJ: You see, Alex, that is where a real problem comes in….because Lex makes a great point….you put 6CW on the line against Keith Leone, you gambled Genesis’ future and lost……I don’t gamble, Alex….I don’t make rash decisions….everything has been planned meticulously and I cannot and will not allow any mistakes to jeopardise what we have worked so hard to achieve…

Walker: Clarke, I wouldn’t….

CJ: JJ Johnson and his band of merry men will fall at Night of Glory, that is a given….they will lay at our feet, broken and defeated…..I will hold the FFTR briefcase and I will pick my precise moment to strike and capture the world championship that was stolen away from me…..Perfect Execution will reap the rewards of their success and they can have anything they want to compensate them…

But the fact remains that this company…..it will belong to you, Alex…..6CWF will 100% be signed over to you….

And I haven’t yet decided if I’m happy about that!

*Clarke pulls the spike from the desk and walks out of the room. Lex & Jack smirk at one another and head for the door. Lex looks back at Walker before he leaves. The door closes and Walker immediately pours himself a whiskey and downs it in one.

Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30) Empty Re: Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30)

Bout 3
Table Elimination (one member from a team through a table to be eliminated)
Genesis (Eddy Kent/Michael Sweetwater) vs Perfect Execution vs Acer/Saint vs Chris Patricks/Max Adamson

*We return to ringside to see a multitude of tables set up around the ringside barriers and in the aisleway. Michael Bird is reminding the audience of the rules in this one in regards to only one team member needing to go through a table in order for the entire team to be eliminated from proceedings. Perfect Execution then make their entrance as they are hit my huge boos from the audience. There is a highlight package of the domination they exuded over all members of The Coalition last week at Proving Grounds whilst the commentators hype the huge battle that is on the horizon at Night of Glory IX.

*We then await the arrival of Max Adamson & Chris Patricks but they are not forthcoming. There is a pause and then the action swings backstage to a huge commotion where Max & Paddy are battling with Eddy Kent and Michael Sweetwater. Max slams Kent into a nearby wall and then wraps a trash can over the top of his head whilst Chris Patricks splatters Sweetwater’s head on top of a wooden crate. CP yells to Max as they both grab a table and begin to drag it into the middle of the floor backstage. Max finishes off setting the table up as Patricks heads back toward Sweetwater. He bends down to pick him up when Tyler Roth boots him in the side of his head, sending him flying across the floor.

*The crowd roar now as The Saint & Acer enter the ringside area and they storm the ring to immediately engage in a firefight with Perfect Execution. Saint drives a huge knee into Lex Hart’s stomach and then whips him into the turnbuckle before launching him skyward with a massive backdrop. Acer & Perfect Jack are trading with punches until PJ rakes the eyes. He kicks Acer in the gut and looks for the “Perfect” Plex but Acer swings free and then drags him in close for a downward spiral. Lex Hart staggers back upright as Acer and Saint take turns to tee off with right hands before they whip him off the ropes and drill him with a double spinebuster as he returns. Saint leaps from the ring now to start grabbing a table or two from around ringside. The commentators talk about the very obvious separation in battles between all four teams, each one concentrating on their Night of Glory opponents.

*Backstage and Tyler Roth has dragged Chris Patricks up and he chokebombs him on a stack of steel chairs, leaving him writhing on the concrete floor. Roth checks on Kent and Sweetwater and then there is a yell as he lifts his head above the parapet and Max Adamson storms into him with a “Gore” that takes him up and through a glass window that leaves both men sprawled amidst the shards and debris in one of the backstage offices. There are concerned looking staff members all around as medics are called. There is a deep gash on the left arm of Max Adamson whilst Tyler Roth’s back is cut to ribbons. Max is wincing in agony but starts pushing himself to his feet, much to the surprise of all the onlookers. Chris Patricks is being stomped on by Michael Sweetwater as Eddy Kent yells for him to drag CP up and dump him across the table. Sweetwater obliges and then he staggers over to the equipment area and returns with a ladder.

*Back at ringside and Saint has set a table up in the ring as Acer sits on the turnbuckle. Saint prepares to lift Lex up onto Acer’s shoulders for a top rope powerbomb. PJ rolls back in with a steel chair and he jabs it into Saint’s ribs, dropping him to his knees. Acer tries to reset his feet on the ropes as Jack launches the chair upward into his face (ECW style). Acer is slumped, seated on the turnbuckle, as Jack drags the table into place before motioning for Lex to join him on the ropes. They prepare for a double superplex when “BOOM” hits the airwaves and the audience are ecstatic for the arrival of JJ Johnson. JJ rushes down and dives in as PJ reaches down to grab the steel chair but JJ smashes down across the back of his neck with a scissors kick. Lex spins around and runs forward but JJ is up and nails a Ron Simmons inspired release spinebuster. We see Clarke James backstage watching on the screens as he prepares for his battle with Liam Wood, but will he come to the aid of his teammates?

*Backstage and Michael Sweetwater is almost at the top of the ladder and preparing to leap down on top of Chris Patricks when Max Adamson thunders into the side of the ladder and sends Sweetwater flying off and crashing into the side of the Genesis Express bus which is half parked between the inside and outside of the arena. Max staggers over and drags Sweetwater up before launching him against the side of the trailer again with an explosive “Cyclone” (F-5). Eddy Kent has tripped over his own feet and is backing away now, hands in the air, as Max and Patricks begin to walk toward the leader of Genesis. Kent continues to trip and stumble as he rushes toward the tunnel that leads up onto the stage, Max & Patricks give chase.

*Back in the ring and JJ Johnson is nodding at Acer & The Saint as the commentators talk about all three men being back on the same page after last week’s mishap. They have a second table set up longways in the corner as Perfect Jack suddenly storms forward and picks Saint up to drive him backwards through the wood, eliminating The Coalition from the match. PJ staggers away from the debris, smirking, as JJ spins him around and nails him with the “Access All Areas”(Stunner) which sends him into the path of Acer, who pops him up and drills him with a powerbomb on the canvass. Acer and JJ help Saint from the crumpled table, the big man wincing slightly, and then Saint picks up the steel chair off the canvass and he envelopes it across Lex Hart’s skull as he tries to stand up. The crowd are cheering as they drag Hart up and deliver a “Shield” powerbomb through the table, leaving Lex and PJ crushed in the centre of the ring. We see Clarke James continuing to watch from backstage as The Coalition raise their arms in the air and soak up the adulation of the audience.

*On the stage we see Eddy Kent stumble out and over toward the 6CWF announce desk. Chris Patricks runs out and clatters the 6WF Champion with right hands before smashing his head repeatedly off the table. Kent stumbles around as Max runs out from the back now and nails him with a huge clothesline. Patricks is intimating to Max that he is going up onto the entranceway structure and he wants Adamson to keep Kent pinned on top of the 6CWF announce table. The audience are going wild with expectation as Max nods his head and Patricks begins his ascent. Max continues to press Kent against the table as Patricks reaches the platform up above the entrance. The crowd are cheering but then a chair smashes over the back of CP’s spine and Rex Adamson appears through a door off to the side. Max looks horrified as he looks up and sees his nephew and Patricks at his mercy ten feet above the stage. Rex is staring down at Max.

*Max steps toward the stage which allows Kent to roll off and land a vicious low blow from behind. Kent puts the thumbs up to Rex as he drags Max over and dumps him ontop of the 6CWF desk. Rex then hauls Patricks up and he launches him off the entranceway so that he falls ten feet and crashes down on top of Max and they both go through the table. The bell sounds as Kent is declared victorious and he just stands and laughs at the wreckage at his feet. Rex Adamson remains standing over the entranceway. The members of The Coalition still in the ring stare up at the stage as Kent/Rex stare back down toward them. A future battle?

Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30) Empty Re: Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 17 Apr 2024, 7:58 pm

*Liam Wood walks out of his dressing room and finds himself looking at Tim Allen. TA wants to grab an interview with Wood ahead of his huge fight with Clarke James and his potential battle with Rex Adamson at Night of Glory. Wood says he isn’t looking ahead because tonight he is fighting one of the most sadistic, violent men in professional wrestling and he cannot afford to overlook that. But Clarke James should also be aware that he is facing exactly the same and someone who will not hesitate to return fire in the trenches if he so wishes.

Wood doesn’t care about James, Exodus or their power grab. He has spent 12 months exorcising demons and proving to anyone that the biggest mistake you can make is to make things personal with Liam Wood. So tonight he is ready for war and he is ready for any kind of trick that they may pull. Wood’s only priority is winning the FFTR and becoming world champion once more. He is hell bent on making that a reality and if the last year has shown anything it’s that he will do literally anything it takes to get what he wants.

Liam Wood does give props to Rex Adamson for making the final, no mean feat, but if he does see him at Night of Glory and they are to stand across the ring from one another in the final…..Rex’s hopes of beating another world champion are virtually non-existent. There is a definite mixed reaction from the crowd and it is clear that Rex Adamson does have his own fans inside the building.

*JJ Johnson, Acer and The Saint return backstage after dishing out a beating to Perfect Execution. Clarissa is on hand and JJ beckons her over. JJ says that was just “a taste” of what is coming…..Night of Glory is the end, it truly is Exodus for Clarke James, Perfect Jack and Lex Hart…..he sure hopes it is sinking in for Lex & PJ now as Clarke refused to come to their aid when they needed it most and he fully expects the same thing to happen at Night of Glory…..”But you made your beds b1tches so it’s night f***ing night”. Acer is stood staring at pictures on the walls of former champions throughout 6CWF history. Saint stops and realises his friend is looking and he walks over. Saint places an arm on Acer’s shoulder “One day, brother…..and believe me, that day is coming”. Acer nods at Saint as the scene ends.

*Anthony Grace is standing by and preparing to speak with Jack Reynolds ahead of the huge ten man tag team match.

Reynolds: Anthony….tonight you take part in a ten man “Xtreme” tag team match….now I know last week you threw your proverbial hat in the ring and declared yourself for the “Xtreme” Championship at Night of Glory….now that was of course pre-cursored after you were brutally assaulted by a returning Marty Helms…

Helms will be in this match….one of the most savage and dominant superstars in recent years….how do you prepare to answer back? Is Helms your sole revenge mission?

*Grace smiles at this

Grace: Dear boy who said anything about revenge? Helms hit me hard last week, no doubt….but I’ve been hit harder by bigger and badder, sorry Marty…..to have any chance in the land of “Xtreme” I will need thicker skin than to lose my cool after every attack….this is an environment where quite literally anything goes…

In some ways I should take it as a compliment that Marty Helms chose to target me on his grand return to action…..always ready to make an impact isn’t he?

But no….all joking aside….I have seen Geoff Steel and Uryu Ishida, two other former world champions….as well as Ojore, I know all about him, have also put themselves forward…

Reynolds: And Mike Hill…

Grace: So alone we have four former world champions up to this point…..that tells you the magnitude of any potential match….and you think I can just focus solely on Marty Helms?

*Grace flashes his Hollywood smile but then his face darkens

Grace: That being said, maybe ask Robin Reborn about what happens when you test me….ask him what happens when you choose “war” with Anthony Grace….this isn’t a movie role and I don’t need a stunt double to take care of my business….if Marty Helms thinks he can just march back in here and take whatever he pleases….a rude awakening awaits him in the very near future….

This is one of 6CW’s premier divisions and it will be an honour to try my hand at something I have never done before….becoming “Xtreme” Champion would almost be fitting after the last year of my life….barbed wire, broken glass and thumbtacks sound like a walk in the park compared to what I have been through so bring it on…

Reynolds: Can I also just ask….in recent weeks we have clearly seen some crossed words, wires, animosity between yourself and Enforcer….we know this stems back to 2017…..I guess it would just be good to get your views on all of this…

Grace: A tale for another time perhaps….it’ll certainly be in my memoirs….right now my concentration is on “Xtreme”….Enforcer’s concentration is rightly on his upcoming match at Night of Glory with Robin Reborn….which I would once again like to offer my services…

*We hear footsteps approaching and the crowd roar as Enforcer is standing across from Grace

Enforcer: Anthony…

*Enforcer rubs his chin for a moment (SCIAEACF?)

Enforcer: I know it’s all been cordial and we have both tried to state that what happened in 2017 is past and this is a new era, different people etc….but this whole “holier than thou”, I want to be your mate BS….please just stop…

*Grace’s smile has disappeared now

Enforcer: I look at you, Anthony, and I still see the same guy I did 7 years ago…..truth be told, I’d love nothing more than to separate your head from your shoulders…

*Many fans cheer this comment, others boo

Enforcer: I don’t like you….and deep down, if you are honest, you don’t like me either and that is totally fine….nobody is getting their feelings hurt…

We can’t pretend what went down between us didn’t happen…..you cost me my job, you ensured I was cast into the wilderness…..and in return I cost you the world championship…..remember that next time you attach your phony smile…..I cost you from being world champion, paydays galore, the glitz, the glamour, the adulation….that is because of me….

So don’t pretend you want to be my mate….this isn’t an Apollo Creed/Rocky Balboa moment….enemies turned friends….I don’t need your assistance, I don’t want your help…..I will deal with Robin Reborn because that is what I do…

And you….you do whatever it is you feel you need to do….”Xtreme” Championship matches, a future war with Marty Helms….I don’t care….

But know this….one day our paths will cross…..it is an inevitability in this business…..and when that day comes…..you’ll need much more than that smile, believe me!

*Enforcer stares at Grace for a moment and then walks away. Grace looks a little lost and then he turns to Jack Reynolds and offers a weak smile before he heads in the opposite direction.

Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30) Empty Re: Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30)

Bout 4
Fight for the Right
Clarke James vs Liam Wood

*Clarke James is seen walking backstage as Perfect Jack & Lex Hart appear. Jack and Lex are sporting the bruises and cuts of their clash with The Coalition. It is clear they are both angry at what has transpired. All three men stare at one another and we hear James say “Channel it” as he places the Scarecrow mask on and walks up the tunnel toward the ringside area. Jack and Lex exchange looks and nod their heads as they watch James disappear. His music hits and the audience can be heard booing already before he steps out on stage. CJ basks in the crowd’s hatred as he makes his way down to the ring and clambers inside. The commentators are talking about how James is one W away from competing for the world title he has sought since returning last May. He removes his mask and focuses his gaze on the stage.

*Huge cheers now as Liam Wood appears on the stage. The former world champion takes a deep breath and puffs out his chest before making his way down to the ring. We get a recap on his victories over Fanatic & Geoff Steel en route to tonight’s semi-final. Wood shows no intimidation as he glares at James and clambers up into the ring. RJ cannot remember too many one on one meetings between these two (have there been any?). The referee stands in between both combatants as they just glare at each other before the sell sounds to get the contest underway.

*The two men circle one another for a lockup and Wood immediately snaps their arms down and drives a heavy knee into James’ gut. He lifts James’ head up and crunches a forearm in his face before unloading with snap jabs. Wood looks for an Irish whip but James spins inside and pulls him in place “Faithless”. Wood elbows his way free and then beckons James back in before popping him up for the “World Eater” but James catches his leg and spins him around before running off the ropes and returns with a vicious lariat to the back of the neck. He stomps all over Wood repeatedly and then runs the ropes and returns with a jumping knee to the back of the neck. Wood rolls over on his back as James heads for the corner and he clambers up high for a corkscrew senton but Wood moves at the last second.

*James rolls out on the apron and tries to get to his feet as Wood runs the opposite side and returns with a flying apron spear that sends them both crashing onto the arena floor. Wood rolls in and out of the ring to break the count and then he smashes CJ’s head off the steel steps. James staggers around toward the announce area and collapses on his knee. Wood runs around and attempts the “Psycho Crusher” but James avoids at the final second and then he scoops Wood up on his shoulders to slam him on top of the “Japanese” announce desk with a Samoan drop. The table doesn’t break but Wood writhes in pain from the impact.

*James heads back for the ring and waits for the ten count but Wood just beats it on nine. James is on the prowl now and wants “Faithless” but Wood blocks him and drops backward into an inverted STO which smashes James’ face into the middle turnbuckle. Wood gets back up and deadlifts James out of the crouched position into a German suplex. CJ rolls over on his knees as Wood smashes into him with a V-trigger knee for a two count. Wood goes up high now and looks for a flying lariat but James drives his boot up into the gut as Wood comes down and then nails a snap “Dirty Deeds” DDT. He hooks both legs but Wood just manages to kick out in time.

*James hooks the arms of Wood and prepares to lift him for a “Jay Driller” but Wood swipes his legs and performs a giant swing for ten rotations. Wood stumbles to the corner now and he climbs up high before delivering a huge flying elbow to the heart of his opponent. Wood psyches the audience up now as he fixes his gaze on Clarke James and then he drills him with the “Psycho Crusher”. Everyone believes Wood is heading for the final but James gets his shoulder up off the canvass in time, much to the arena’s surprise.

*Wood takes a deep breath as he pulls James up before the “Manson Driver” but James manages to shove him away into the referee. The referee is knocked off balance momentarily and it allows CJ to nail a low blow. He then drags Wood in place and plants him with the “Jay Driller” (double underhook facebuster). He makes the cover with a knowing smile but that is soon wiped from his face as Wood finds a way to kick out now. James eyeballs the referee before rolling from the ring to retrieve his trademark “spike”.

*The official tries to get the weapon from CJ but is shoved aside. He beckons Wood up and looks to stab at him but Wood dodges it and then he chokeslams James into a backbreaker. Wood kicks the spike away as he drags James back to his feet and obliterates him now with a lungblower. Wood heads for the corner again and this time he is successful with the flying lariat. James stumbles to his feet once more as Wood plants a boot in his gut and he nails him with the “Manson Driver”. He hooks the leg and the three count is all but assured until Lex Hart drags the referee from the ring and decks him, sparking outrage from the audience. Wood gets up to confront Lex but Perfect Jack clatters into him from behind and drags him into a “Perfect” slam in the middle of the ring.

*Huge cheers now as Acer & Saint storm the ring to renew their war with Perfect Execution. The two teams are trading huge punches as they collide and end up in the crowd, fighting amongst the audience. Back at ringside and Clarke James has staggered up and he is on the stalk as he waits for Liam Wood to stand before he nails him with “Faithless”. James has the cover but there is nobody to make the count. He rolls from the ring to try and revive the referee but to no avail so instead he reaches for his “spike” once more.

*The crowd are booing furiously as James prepares to bloody Liam Wood but then JJ Johnson storms the ring and the fight is on. James goes hell for leather but JJ ducks the shot and nails the stunner. CJ sags back into the ropes and comes forward as JJ splatters him on the canvass with the “VIP Experience”. Johnson talks trash to James now and then beckons for a new referee. An official appears as JJ leaps from the ring, a grin on his face. Liam Wood staggers onto his feet now and waits for James to rise before pressing him up into the “World Eater” knee strike. That’s the three count and this one is over. Liam Wood versus Rex Adamson in the final of the “Fight for the Right” briefcase. Book it. It’s a wrap.

*Wood sits back against the ropes and breathes in the atmosphere as he is declared victorious and the new referee raises his hand in victory. JJ Johnson continues to stare at the downed form of Clarke James before the cameras show the battle between Acer/Saint & Perfect Execution which has now spilled into the backstage area. Saint launches Lex Hart with so much force that he takes a door of its hinges and leaves Hart in a heap in a stairwell. Perfect Jack rushes in and drives a wrench into the back of Saint’s knee. PJ is then preparing to kick Saint down the stairs when Acer lets out a roar and we see him spearing Jack and the two men tumble down the stairs and come to a standstill at the bottom.

*The commentators are hyping “the end of 6CWF as we know it” in regards to the battle between Exodus & The Coalition at Night of Glory. A seething Clarke James falls into the ropes and drops to his knees as he stares out at JJ Johnson. Johnson isn’t smiling anymore and returns the hate-filled gaze as the crowd chant his name.

Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30) Empty Re: Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 17 Apr 2024, 8:11 pm

*Daniel Reilly is almost beside himself as Oliver Keane is trying to calm him down. Clarissa approaches to try and get a word about what happened against Rex Adamson as well as the news that Reilly will face Dicey at Night of Glory for the European Championship. Reilly snatches the mic from Clarissa and scares her out of the picture. The "King" delivers a very stark warning to Dicey Reilly that Night of Glory IX will be the final time he ever steps foot in a wrestling ring. Reilly isn't going to bother chasing vindication with Uryu Ishida, JJ Johnson or VIP Promotions because he knows they are all as corrupt as each other and although everyone knows the result shouldn't count, we all know it will. It's like waiting for VAR to give a decision against the Sly 6, not going to happen. Reilly is promising to not only end this feud once and for all, but he will end Dicey Reilly's wrestling career for the embarrassment he has caused.

*Jerome Dubois appears on the screen. Dubois continues to drive home the message that he wants to restore honour and pride to "6CW" and that is why he continues in this company. Dubois admits it has been a barren spell for him and the audience practically look upon him as a joke but that is all going to come to an end. Dubois says he doesn't even want to wait until Night of Glory to finish things with Cobra because quite frankly he has bigger fish to fry. So if Cobra is here tonight and he wants to end it then bring it on. Dubois is vowing to make a statement that will not be forgotten.

*We head back inside Alex Walker's office and he is taking another drink as he holds his phone to his ear. He almost falls over and drops his drink as someone clearly answers on the other end.

Walker: Hello....yes, hello....this is Alex Walker.....this number? I called in a favour.....I was told you were someone I could call if there was a problem that needed fixing....ok......how much? Yes that isn't a problem, whatever it takes....you'll call back? Ok thank you....

*Walker places the phone on his desk and pours himself another drink, which he downs in one. He looks extremely worried as he continues to cast looks at his phone.

Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30) Empty Re: Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30)

*We see GazzyD packing up his kitbag and making a run for the locker-room door. He reaches the corridor and pauses, knowing that Edward Plague is in the "enclosure" at the end and he has not given Gazzy permission to leave the building especially with the world championship match looming. One of Plague's followers appears (the hooded figure from earlier) and they see Gazzy and his bag. Gazzy's face drains of colour as the "follower" has the drop on him and is able to rush toward Plague's "enclosure" and reaches out to grab the door handle when a foot explodes into the back of his head and squashes his skull against the door. The "follower" drops in a heap as GazzyD stares in astonishment.

Uryu: Go now....she needs you...

*Gazzy stares at Uryu, shock in his eyes

Uryu: Go....do not make me regret this...

*Gazzy turns and leaves as Uryu looks down at Plague's "follower" and then lets out a deep sigh.

*We see Scott Harris getting ready before the screen switches to Mike Masters checking himself in the mirror. The commentators talk about their upcoming clash at Night of Glory IX but first they will renew hostilities in the upcoming "Xtreme" tag team match. We then get a split screen which shows Ojore, Mike Hill, Geoff Steel, Marty Helms, Anthony Grace & Enforcer going through their final preparations. An advert plays on the TV of one of Robin Reborn's latest TV shows on Amazon Prime as Enforcer pushes the screen over and it smashes on the floor.

*Clarke James looks murderous as he slowly and methodically walks backstage. He pushes open the door into the stairwell where Perfect Execution had been fighting with The Coalition and he finds Lex & Perfect Jack there. Jack is holding the hand rail as he walks up to join the others. Lex then points his finger upward to indicate that JJ/Acer & Saint have headed to the rooftops and that they passed on the message to meet them there. James' nostrils flare as all three members of Exodus now climb up and they push the doors open to reveal the pink night sky over London. JJ Johnson/Acer and The Saint are standing on one side of the roof as Clarke James, Lex Hart and Perfect Jack step toward them. All six men are separated by a row of skylights.

JJ: Time fo' talking is done....you know it, we know it...

*James' eyes are locked on JJ although he says nothing

JJ: This right here is a watershed moment, no turning back....last chance fo' you two a55holes (he points at Perfect Jack & Lex Hart).....walk yo a55es away from this now and we'll say no more on it.....ain't yo fight....no point in you all going down for this pathetic piece of (beep)...

*This gets a sly grin from Clarke James. Lex and PJ exchange looks.

JJ: But if you stay, know this....Night of Glory we are coming fo' y'all with the wrath of God.....no second chances, live by the sword and you die by it too....I mean what I say and I repeat it once more with feeling.....this is not your fight but if you choose it then you will die on the battlefield just the same as him...

Remember....these two (he indicates at Acer and Saint) are my brothers....bound fo' life and together we walk through the fire....we ride together, we die together, we know that, we are committed to that....win or lose, we do it together....

*JJ points at Clarke James as he looks from Lex to Perfect Jack

JJ: You think he's the same?....tonight he showed you....when it got tough, nowhere to be seen...he left you both to get yo a55es kicked....he doesn't care, you are nothing but pawns in his game....fo' two of the world's best I would have expected more....

*PJ takes a look at the door leading from the roof but then he turns back to The Coalition and points at the scar on his face

Perfect Jack: Where I was once blind.....now I see....

*Lex is smirking

Lex: Are you finished, Johnson? Save the tired sermons....we get it, you're the great hope....this whole charade manufactured by you to paint you as the hero, what a surprise....but this time there will be no happy ending....no fairytale finish......

*Lex runs his hand down his neck to indicate the scar on JJ's

Lex: Last time I gave you something to remember me by....this time the damage will be permanent....

*Acer steps forward but JJ holds his hand up

JJ: Ain't no problem, homie.....we've all thrown our shots, said our bit.....at Night of Glory, that's when we finish this....no need for anyone else to get hurt...

*James smiles again now

CJ: That really isn't your decision though, is it JJ?

JJ: Finally he talks...

CJ: I would have thought the last year may have taught you some humility....even just some common sense.....you are not in control....you dictate nothing.....

Rock V2, Tyson Armstrong, Acer, Saint, your wife, your children, Diablo, Cody Walker.....the list goes on and on....you couldn't stop me then so what makes you so sure you can stop me now?

*James is really growing in stature now

CJ: You were so desperate to believe there was something inside of me that you could save....always seeing the good, even when none exists....I almost pity you....

The fact is, JJ, you could have saved all of those people if you had just done the right thing and given me my world championship....everything that happened then and everything that happens from this point on....it is all on you....every last drop of blood that is spilt, every tear shed by Brandi....every sleepless night for your children growing up without a father....you....you do this...

You are right....there is nothing left to say....I look at you and I feel nothing but disgust that I ever associated with someone so morally corrupt as you are....I'll be doing your family a favour by wiping you off the face of this earth....at least I might just save your children the indecency of growing up in your shadow....

6CWF will rejoice as it gulps in its first breath without your influence drowning it....I am the Saviour.....The Chosen One....I will cut this entire company free from the shackles of your oppression.....Exodus will pave the way to the future....I will pave the way to the future....the future in which JJ Johnson no longer exists.....

The King is dead....long live the....

*Acer suddenly breaks ranks and he lands a huge right hand which staggers Clarke James backward. Perfect Execution catch CJ before he falls. James looks incredulous but then he laughs as he feels his lip and looks at the blood on his hand. Exodus stand for a moment and look at their rivals before CJ points at the setting sun and he produces the railroad spike before drawing it across his throat. Perfect Jack & Lex Hart follow James from the rooftops as The Coalition are left. Acer looks at his bloodied knuckles and then turns to JJ & Saint, almost apologetically. JJ shakes his head

JJ: Damn man, didn't know you was so quick....that punch was mine...

Saint: Actually it was mine...

JJ: No way was yo old slow a55 getting there first....

*The three "brothers" put their arms around each other as they turn to watch the setting sun.

Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30) Empty Re: Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 17 Apr 2024, 8:48 pm

Bout 5
Xtreme Rules
Anthony Grace/Enforcer/Geoff Steel/Scott Harris/Uryu Ishida vs Jerome Dubois/Marty Helms/Mike Hill/Mike Masters/Ojore

*The crowd are hyped for the return of “Xtreme” as the commentators debate on what exactly we are going to see at Night of Glory IX in order to crown a new champion. All the combatants for the upcoming bout are making their entrances and we know that Grace, Steel, Uryu, Hill & Helms have put themselves forward for whatever lies ahead but we still await an official announcement as to what that will pertain. Ojore, fully clad in war helmet, is roaring his way to ringside now and grabs a steel chair as he looks to get the party started early. Geoff Steel leaps from the ring to go head on with the “Ugandan Nightmare”.

*Jerome Dubois clatters Ishida and looks to whip him into the corner but Uryu runs up the turnbuckle and moonsaults back into a takedown as the audience go wild. Marty Helms & Anthony Grace are trading punches and Helms smashes his head into Grace’s face before launching him from the ring. Mike Hill springboards off the ropes and dropkicks Enforcer onto the apron. He looks for a sunset flip to the outside but Enforcer holds on and drives punches down into Hill’s face until he staggers away to the announce area. Enforcer then runs across the apron and dives off with a huge shoulder tackle which sends Hill up and over one of the announce desks.

*Mike Masters and Scott Harris are trading punches in the middle of the ring until Masters rakes the eyes. Masters then springs off the ropes a disaster kick but Harris catches him in a powerbomb position. They stagger to the ropes and Masters nails a headscissors that takes them both over the top to the outside of the ring. The cameras are struggling to keep up with the action as Enforcer runs and uses the steel steps to dive into a “Facecheck” on Ojore which staggers him backward into an “Attitude Adjustment” from Geoff Steel through one of the announce tables. Steel and Enforcer stare at one another as the crowd anticipate a clash between the two fan favourites but then Marty Helms spins Geoff Steel around and spinebusters him on top of the steel steps. Helms glares down at Steel now and we hear him say “This is my (beeping) kingdom”.

*Jerome Dubois has dragged Uryu up on the stage and looks for the “Culture Shock” but Uryu kicks and fights out the back. Ishida nails a superkick to the back of Dubs’ head sends him staggering toward the edge of the stage. He then runs forward but Dubois uses his momentum to nail a tilt-a-whirl. Uryu counters in midair with a headscissors which sends Dubs crashing back toward the entranceway. Ishida gets up and he springs off the entranceway structure but Dubois catches him in midair and slams him down on the solid stage with a “Garlic” bomb.

*Anthony Grace snaps a kendo stick across Marty Helms’ back as Helms was fronting up with Enforcer. Grace & Enforcer stare at one another and then they drag Helms forward and they deliver a double suplex into a front slam which obliterates Marty Helms through the “Social Media” desk. This is just out and out chaos as Grace and Enforcer stare at one another now before Mike Hill front flips from the ring and wipes them both out with a senton takedown. Hill grabs the ringbell and he beckons Grace up before smashing him in the face to leave him draped across one of the remaining tables (two down/two to go). Hill drags a ladder out from underneath the ring now and sets it up but then eats a big boot from Enforcer, dropping him in a heap.

*OJore is stirring from the wreckage as we see Mike Masters and Scott Harris continuing their brawl in the aisleway. Masters has fallen down by the ring apron and then produces a fire extinguisher to spray in Harris’ face, blinding him. Masters then leaps onto the barricade for leverage and nails the disaster kick out on the floor. Up on the stage and Jerome Dubois has removed one of the stage panels to reveal a drop to the concrete floor underneath. He has Uryu at his feet and is looking down at the void when suddenly he is spun around by Cobra and eats a massive buzzsaw kick to the temple, sending him staggering toward the side of the stage. Cobra grabs Dubois now and looks for the ”Snakebite” (Spinning Impailer) but Dubois spins out and smashes his foe’s head repeatedly against the side of the stage structure. Dubois rags Cobra over to the hole in the stage and the audience are stunned as he flips him up and slams him down with a “Culture Shock”. The replays show the horrific nature of Cobra’s landing and he seems to fall on the back of his neck and shoulder. Will he be medically cleared to compete at Night of Glory? Dubois looks devilish as he stares down at the mangled frame of Cobra and then the Frenchmen decides enough is enough and he leaving the match.

*Mike Masters has cable ties and he is fastening Scott Harris to the ringpost as the audience voice their concern and disproval. Masters is grinning as he twirls a kendo stick in his hands now and he goes at the body and back of Harris with horrific shots that leave deep red welts all over. Harris is sagging to his knees, locked in place, as Masters lifts his head with the stick and stares into his eyes. Harris, in defiance, stares back before Masters shatters the stick across the side of his head which leaves a horrendous cut across the eye and cheek of Harris. The commentators didn’t envisage this becoming so personal but “Xtreme” rules allows for this kind of violence. Masters just stands and stares down at Scott Harris now, drinking in the boos that are resonating from all sides of the audience.

*Enforcer looks like he is about to continue his fight with Mike Hill when Ojore smashes the war helmet off his back and then charges him, face-first, into the ringpost. The former Xtreme Champion launches Enforcer into the ring and then slides in a barbed wire board and a bag of unknown quantity. The crowd watch on in horror as Ojore empties broken glass all over the canvass and then he beckons Enforcer up. He scoops Big E in his arms for the “World’s Strongest Slam” but Anthony Grace returns to the mixer and clatters Ojore from behind. He lands right hands and wobbles the big man but cannot drop him. He then attempts the “Blockbuster” (tornado roundhouse kick) but Ojore shows amazing strength to catch him in his arms. Ojore lets out a roar and prepares to smash Grace down on the glass but Enforcer runs over and kicks him right between the legs. Enforcer then prepares to stun the audience with a powerbomb onto the broken glass as Robin Reborn springboards in for a flying forearm. Enforcer anticipates Reborn’s attack and catches him in his arms. He readies for a fall away slam when Ojore roars back in and flattens Big E with a headbutt to the chest. Ojore & Reborn stare at one another now before Reborn drags Grace up and throws him forward. Ojore lifts Grace up in his arms and smashes him onto the broken glass with a “World’s Strongest Slam”. Reborn grabs one of the shards and he kneels over Enforcer now to drive vicious punches into his head, splitting Big E’s forehead wide open and emptying crimson all over the canvass. We hear Reborn yelling “We up, it’s done” as Ojore stares down at both Enforcer & Grace. Ojore looks like he wants to continue the decimation process but Reborn is talking to him and we hear “Make ‘em pay, payday brother…..Night of Glory…..nothing for free”. Ojore reluctantly nods his head and leaves the ring.

*We see Uryu staggering back down to ringside and he is just climbing through the ropes when he takes a vicious knee to the head from Marty Helms. Helms drags Uryu into the middle of the ring and flips him in the air for an “Infinity Edge” but Uryu swivels his body and counters with a poisonrana takedown. They both get back up and Uryu forward rolls under Helms’ attack and springs onto the ropes before floating back with a crossbody takedown. On the outside of the ring Geoff Steel is getting onto his feet when Mike Hill runs him into the ladder and smashes his face against it. Steel aways as Hill nails a step-up enzeguiri which leaves Steel sprawled across one of the remaining announce tables. Hill starts to climb up as the crowd watch on with fevered anticipation.

*In the ring and Uryu tries to grab Marty Helms’ arm for the “Sunset” armbar but Helms shows real power to lift Ishida up off the mat with one arm and then he transitions his body around before slamming down on top of the barbed wire board with a variation of the “Infinity Edge” lungblower. Uryu rolls off the barbed wire in pain as Helms stares at him with real dislike. Mike Hill is just about at the top of the ladder now but Geoff Steel is already up and smashes a huge right hand into his stomach before drilling his head down into the top of the ladder. The audience are going wild now as Steel scoops Mike Hill on his shoulders from the ladder top and he throws him down and through one of the announce tables. Steel stares down at the wreckage of Hill and the table before turning to look at the ring. There is a long staredown between Geoff Steel and Marty Helms now (“I’d pay to watch this all day” says JT) as Helms spits in frustration and then runs forward and obliterates Uryu with the “Blade of the Ruined King” knee strike for the three count and the victory. Marty Helms gets up and continues to stare at Geoff Steel now as we get a recap on the absolute insanity that we have just witnessed. Cobra/Dubois, Harris/Masters, Enforcer/Reborn/Grace/Ojore as well as this developing staredown between Geoff Steel & Marty Helms. What does this mean for the future of “Xtreme” here in 6CWF? Uryu is running tonight’s show but he just took the L as he attempted to rebuild from his world title loss.

*Uryu is face down on the mat, blood on his back from the barbed wire fall, as Marty Helms snatches his arm out of the referee’s grasp. Geoff Steel continues to stare down from the ladder at Helms as the crowd cheer in anticipation of a potential show-down.

Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30) Empty Re: Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 17 Apr 2024, 9:56 pm

*Backstage following the hellacious tag team match and Clarissa is standing in front of a plinth with the Xtreme Championship on. Clarissa has been given information in regards to the title at Night of Glory IX. We have an official announcement that the Xtreme Championship will be contested in a 30 minute Time Attack match where anything goes. The final superstar to score a pinfall or submission will be the first champion of the new era.

Marty Helms enters her eyeline now and he’s happy to take the mic. Helms wants to the whole of 6CWF to know that what happened out there tonight was just a five minute preview of what is to come. If you thought he was dominant before, you’ve seen nothing yet.

*The scene changes and 6CWF security are removing the locks from Edward Plague’s enclosure. The 6CW Champion walks out and seems surprised to see that GazzyD is not there. There are three of his ‘followers’ all on their knees in front of them and they beg forgiveness as they deliver the news that Gazzy has left because Christy is giving birth.

Plague’s emotions are unreadable as the 6CW Championship is placed in his hands but his dark eyes reveal some kind of betrayal.

*Jerome Dubois is watching as Cobra is placed in the back of an ambulance with a neck brace on. Security and the EMTs are trying to keep Dubois away from the vehicle but he pushes past to get close to his rival. Dubois tells his Cobra that a broken neck isn’t enough to stop what is coming and one way or another he will have his vengeance.

Dubois reveals that he has a ‘list’ and that Cobra is just the first in a long line of those will pay for disgracing the ‘6CW’ name.

*We then switch to the trainers’ room and Scott Harris is examining the deep gash across his eye and cheek following Mike Masters’ attack. Harris winces and groans as his wound is cleared. There is a promo playing for the Masters-Harris match on the tv and Harris asks them to turn it off.

Harris: May 18th it ends…

*Harris winces again as more pressure is applied to his wound. We hear him muttering ‘I am good enough’ as the scene ends.

*RJ and JT are on hand to confirm the current Night of Glory IX card after recent revelations:

Enforcer vs Robin Reborn
Mike Masters vs Scott Harris
Cobra vs Jerome Dubois ???
Daniel Reilly (c) vs Dicey Reilly - 6CWF European Championship
Exodus vs The Coalition
Liam Wood vs Rex Adamson - Fight for the Right Final
Anthony Grace vs Geoff Steel vs Marty Helms vs Mike Hill vs Ojore vs Uryu Ishida - Xtreme Championship (Time Attack)
Eddy Kent (c) vs Chris Patricks vs Max Adamson - 6WF World Heavyweight Championship

Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30) Empty Re: Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 18 Apr 2024, 8:20 am

*Robin Reborn swaggers onto the screen following his violent assault on Enforcer. Reborn is conveying his disappointment at having to face Enforcer at Night of Glory because when he put out the challenge to a "legend" he was expecting a big fish. Reborn says tonight was just a demonstration in how easy it will be to defeat Big E. This is the event where he defeated Joshua after all, he deserves some respect on his name. Reborn trashes Enforcer's achievements (sparking huge boos from the crowd) but promises to make him "famous" on May 18th.

*The scene changes as we see multiple security guards opening two separate "enclosures" on opposite sides of the corridor. From the gloom inside step Blue Dragon and Logan Kincade. Dragon adjusts himself and takes in the light whilst Logan is slower to appear and when he does he has blood running down his forehead where he has clearly smashed his own head against the wall. Logan looks far more animalistic than he has done in a long time. There are no words between the two men as security flank them (keeping a huge distance) and then they begin to walk toward ringside.

*Genesis are heading out of the arena toward the Genesis Express

Kent: I'd say a job well done tonight, boys...

*Tyler Roth gestures to the blood stained bandages around his body whilst Michael Sweetwater is clearly concussed after the tussle with Chris Patricks and Max Adamson. Eddy Kent merely smiles

Kent: A message sent loud and clear to anyone who wishes to threaten our empire....Max and his sidekick are in the hospital, the prognosis isn't looking too sweet (Roth throws up the horns)...the 6WF Championship is as good as defended already.....and soon...

*Kent gestures to Rex now

Kent: Soon the prodigal son will take his rightful place at my side....the 6CW World Champion....it is only a matter of time....the Fight for the Right briefcase is.....can we help you?

*All of Genesis turn now and face down with Liam Wood

Wood: You can help yourself by refraining from calling yourself "Daddy" anymore....it's really weird....

*Kent's eyes narrow with dislike

Wood: But no....I'm not here for you, not yet anyway....

*Kent looks ready to retort but Rex steps in front of him

Wood: The Viper versus The Champ Slayer...

*Roth and Sweetwater are smiling but Rex remains stony faced

Wood: Single handed, right? If you truly want to be great, you'll keep it that way...I'll see you at Night of Glory....

*Wood and Rex continue to stare at each other before Wood walks away. Eddy Kent is watching and then he puts a hand on Rex's shoulder to direct him toward the bus. Rex looks at Kent's hand and then a quick glance at the world title on his shoulder before he follows Sweetwater and Roth. Kent pauses at the door for another minute and looks back at where Wood was standing before he climbs onboard.

Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30) Empty Re: Uryu Ishida presents "Proving Grounds" Results - April 17th 2024 (Episode 30)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 18 Apr 2024, 9:52 am

Main Event
6CW World Championship
Monsters Ball
Edward Plague (c) vs Blue Dragon vs Logan Kincade

*The commentary team are talking about the utter chaos that we have seen here tonight as well as deliberating on Edward Plague’s mindset now that GazzyD has left the arena and the 6CW Champion is set to defend against the “Brothers of Destruction” without his right hand man. Blue Dragon is the first to enter and he looks pumped and ready for war. He removes his jacket and leans back against the ropes before flames erupt from the stage to accompany the arrival of Logan Kincade. Kincade still has a trickle of blood running down his face as he begins to walk down the ramp and immediately pulls up the ring apron in order to drag out a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire. Blue Dragon casts a look at his brother as Kincade steps toward the aisleway in anticipation of the world champion’s arrival.

*Edward Plague arrives now and the crowd boo the 6CW Champion. He stands there and soaks up the atmosphere. Logan is in absolutely no mood to wait around as he rushes up the ramp to attack the champion. Logan swings the chair at Plague’s head but he ducks as the weapon clatters against the entrance structure. Plague boots Logan in the stomach now and looks to flip him up for a “Border Toss” powerbomb off the stage but Kincade counters with a backdrop which slams the champion down on the steel stage. Logan grabs the steel chair once more and he lashes it across the back of Plague, drawing a roar of pain from the champion.

*Blue Dragon remains in the ring as Logan stands over Plague and begins to jam the weapon down into his body and back. Logan then fits the chair in position, lodged in the metal struts of the entranceway, and then he drags Plague to his feet and runs him forward before smashing his face into the barbed wire, drawing copious amounts of blood. Plague stumbles away, clutching at his face, as Logan strides behind him and grabs him by the back of the neck. Kincade walks Plague toward the edge of the stage for “Rough Justice” (Face-first chokeslam) but Plague suddenly spins and he spits a black mist into the eyes of Logan, blinding him. Plague lands a thunderous kick to Kincade’s stomach now and the audience are going insane as he delivers the “Border Toss” powerbomb which sends Logan off the side of the stage and crashing on top of the production equipment, sparks going everywhere.

*Blue Dragon is still waiting on the ring and he beckons Plague on as the world champion starts to walk down the ramp toward the ring. Dragon then defies gravity as he runs to the ropes (ala The Undertaker) and launches himself over the top rope into a takedown on Plague in the aisleway. He drags the world champion up and runs him into the steel steps, sending them flying. Dragon picks the steps up now and he waits for Plague to rise before he just launches them through the air and they crash against Plague’s skull. The world champ drops in a heap, his blood pooling all over the concrete.

*Dragon is having fun now as he drags up the ring apron and he pulls out a baseball bat. He drops down on top of Plague and chokes him, placing the bat across his windpipe, before standing again and he jabs the end of the bat down into the stomach of his foe. There is one remaining announce table and Dragon clears it before he pulls Plague around and attempts the “Deathnote”. Plague battles and fights before he manages to run Dragon backward into the ring apron. Plague shows his own strength to lift Dragon on his shoulders but BD drops off and shoves him away before running at him and spearing him through the ringside barriers, leaving them both in a battered heap.

*The audience are on their feet and loving every second of the carnage taking place in front of them. Blue Dragon slowly rises and he drags the bloody form of Edward Plague up before launching him into the ring. Dragon then slides in a table as well as a few other tools, including a sheet of glass which he sets up against the turnbuckle. BD has murderous intent and clearly has not forgotten what Plague has done to him in recent weeks. He pours thumbtacks all over the table and then sets it on fire as the audience watch on in awe. BD then fits the “Gauntlet” glove on and he beckons Plague up before detonating a huge punch on his jaw which staggers him into the ropes. Dragon climbs up and delivers then unanswered shots to the head of Plague, leaving him slumped in his own blood. Dragon then drags the world champion into position and intimates to the audience that the end is nigh.

*Suddenly three of Plague’s “followers” storm the ring and begin to attack Dragon. He battles back and launches one into the corner before roaring forward and clatters them with a massive clothesline. A second jumps on his back but BD storms backwards and shatters the sheet of glass as he crushes Plague’s “follower”. The third is on the top rope and leaps off but Dragon catches him around the throat. He walks him to the ropes and lifts him up before chokeslamming him down onto the solid concrete floor. JT believes this may be the “craziest” main event in Proving Grounds history.

*Dragon turns around now and Plague is up to lift him into a release uranage slam which drills BD through the flaming table. BD is writhing in, his back in pieces, as Plague kneels down to make the cover. A three count is almost a certainty but Logan Kincade drags Plague from the ring at the final moment and onto his shoulders before he leaps through the air with a death valley driver which crushes himself and Plague through the one remaining announce table. Logan is a battered and bloody mess but he is back on his feet as RJ reminds us just how far Logan is willing to go in order to get what he wants.

*Kincade looks at his brother in the ring, charred and covered in blood, before he fixes his attention back on Edward Plague. Plague’s body is crumpled and his blood has stained the floor and the table debris. Logan begins trying to drag him up but Plague is almost a deadweight. He somehow manages to get him over to the ring and pushes him under the ropes before starting to follow. One of Plague’s “followers” is still functioning and they tackle Logan as he gets in the ring and they start to land furious punches until Logan slams a knee into their stomach and then launches them from the ring. Logan looks down at Plague before deciding to take care of Plague’s ally instead.

*Logan leaps from the ring and he pulls two more sheets of glass from under the ring and he places them between the ringside barrier (what is left of it) and the ring apron. Logan then drags out a light-tube and he shatters it over the “follower’s” head before he drags him up on the ring apron. Nobody can quite believe what happens next as he grabs the man by the back of his neck and delivers “Rough Justice” (Face-first chokeslam) through the glass. The noise levels from the audience are deafening. Logan just looks down at his handiwork, his eye twitching as he does so.

*Blue Dragon is trying to stir as Logan turns his attention back to the ring now. Logan climbs through the ropes and he looks at his brother and then at Plague. Dragon stumbles to a vertical base and he locks eyes with Logan now. There is a long staredown between the brothers and the anticipation levels are huge for a fight until Plague low blows Dragon from behind. Plague is looking up at Logan now and it is clear he is trying to get inside his head. Plague is telling Logan “Join my family…..this story will only end in blood and chaos” but Kincade suddenly leaps forward and pumps through a knee strike to Plague’s face. Logan then drops from the ring and he begins searching underneath.

*Plague slowly rises and he crawls to the ropes and grabs at Logan’s head but Kincade suddenly smashes a clawhammer against his skull and sends him rolling back across the canvass in a bloody mess. The crowd cannot believe what they are watching now as Kincade produces a roll of barbed wire and rolls it in the ring. He stretches the barbed wire out in a net fashion and then he places his hands around the eyes of Plague to “blind him”. Logan guides him toward the corner and then runs up the turnbuckle for “Blind Justice” (Deadly Dog) but Plague amazing swings him around in midair and catches him for a tombstone piledriver on the barbed wire. He covers and he gets the victory, much to everyone’s surprise.

*There is blood and carnage everywhere as the bell sounds. The cameras pan around to show the utter devastation of what we have just witnessed. JT & RJ cannot believe the action that just took place. “It truly was a Monster’s Ball” says RJ as the crowd are giving all three men a standing ovation. JT isn’t sure where they go from here. The referee has the 6CW Championship and he places it in the bloodstained hands of Edward Plague. Plague is a mess but he cradles the championship like a proud father, singing to it as his music plays over the speakers. We get shots of Logan Kincade and Blue Dragon, both down on the canvass, as Plague begins to rise. Plague looks out at the crowd and he laughs as he raises the championship into the air.

*The lights in the arena begin to falter and they flick on and off as the audience begin to roar at what they are seeing. From the rafters the huge “hell in a cell” structure is dropping around the ring and Edward Plague looks stunned. The lights then go out completely and when they come back up Blue Dragon is on his feet. Plague turns around as Dragon kicks him in the stomach and obliterates him with the “Deathnote” in the middle of the ring.

*Blue Dragon bends down to pick up the 6CW Championship belt and then he looks over to see his brother. Logan is sat up in the corner, his face lost amidst the blood, and his eyes are fully focused on BD and the championship belt in his hands.

*We go backstage for a final time and in Alex Walker's office. Walker is staring at someone standing in front of the desk but we cannot see their face. The unknown person throws a clear plastic wallet on the desk and we see a passport in there as well as other documents.

Walker: Everything? I have to admit I didn't expect it so quickly...

*The stranger says nothing as Walker rifles through the contents

Walker: And your payment......well (he points at the screen where Blue Dragon & Logan Kincade are now standing in the middle of "Hell in a Cell" with Plague at their feet)....there's the first part of it....it's official....Edward Plague/GazzyD vs Blue Dragon/Logan Kincade, Hell in a Cell, Night of Glory.....

As for the rest, it's being drawn up....

*The figure nods their head and starts to walk for the door

Walker: Just one thing...

*The figure stops

Walker: Why them? Why that request?

???: Everything in good time...

*The figure leaves as Walker checks the documents again and pours himself another drink to end the show
