This is the first game I've actually sat down and watched to be honest. Very hard to get excited about this tour, I'm sorry to say.

Poor charge down but should have been a penalty against de allende.

2 exceptions to that. If the ref sees it as the player is looking at the player and also as above you can't do it in front of the ball carrier. So nope its a pen.

It’s legal in the NFL, maybe that’s the confusion.

If you're in front of the ball carrier you're offside and can't do anything to stop anyone making or attempting to make a tackle - guess Nigel Owens must be wrong too?

To be fair, a lot of people prefer him there (including Will Greenwood as he mentioned in commentary on the last game).

Yeah. You can also be obstructing while behind even if keeping the same line. Brown was done that way for England towards the end of his career.

Only area where the Lions are better is the scrum. Getting beaten everywhere else and kicking from hand has been awful.

A player is offside in open play if that player is in front of a team-mate who is carrying the ball or who last played it. An offside player must not interfere with play. This includes:

Playing the ball.
Tackling the ball-carrier.
