Think it was just the 3 turnovers. 1 a pen. 1 a pen against as Ludlam didn't roll. And 1 clear win. And he just takes eyes off others.

Lawrence has been good today. I think England would be better with Lozoswki outside him. Malins isn’t an amazing winger, but he’d probably be a good utility to have on the bench.

Largely what I meant. Wales have a plan too but are executing it badly.

The unforced errors throughout from both sides have been excruciating at times given there's not been much ambition on show.

That should seal a win for England but it has not been a good game or performance.

Mitchell's been good from the bench. As has Mako to be fair to him.

I think we've been ok...slowly improving. JVP was pretty good, Farrell kicking aside I thought went well too. I think with a different ref we'd have won by a little more with better control. The breakdown/scrums were a lottery....some very strange calls throughout.

Smith coming on at 79mins shows where he is in Borthwicks thoughts I think.

Decent win. Wales looked better than other games but the 2nd worst side in the champ....us the 3rd.

There's still some positives from this match. I think it cements chessum completely now. Back row was really good.

And even the bad points really highlight what the team need to work on.

A win is a win, I guess. No more Farrell or Malins, please. If England are to have any chance v Ireland and France, goalkicking has to be Wilkinson-esque. On the plus side, the back row was strong and the set-piece plays looked quality.

Italy should back themselves to turn over Wales, who have been abysmal for three straight games now. Lucky to get 10 today, all handed to them by England errors.

Dreadful game, but I suppose all that mattered for either team was the win and you can't expect too much with new coaches.

But you should expect some basic skills, and they seemed lacking on both sides at times.

Holy cow....that was desperately poor stuff from 2 very poor teams. England did their absolute level best to keep probably the worst Welsh performance (I appreciate there were reasons) in recent times in the game. That really felt like a wooden spoon decider and I have to admit that watching Italy is far preferable.

Well a win for England but should have bbeen more od a win(scored more points) . but what i do not understand ids when they get a penalty why do they kick for goal and nor go doe the corner.
