WI in India
First topic message reminder :
The Indian team was declared...Jadeja rested owing to shoulder strain?
why does he continue to bowl in the masala ODIs?
Rohit has been sneaked into the squad
leaving out Zaheer is a mistake.......unless they do not want to risk with Zaheer as one of the bolwers in a 4 man attack given that Jadeja is out.
There was no comeback for Zaheer Khan despite his five wickets in Mumbai's Ranji Trophy opener, and allrounder Ravindra Jadeja was rested because of a shoulder strain, but Ishant Sharma retained his place despite his struggle for form in recent limited-overs games. India's squad also has a spinner of each variety - an offspinner in R Ashwin, a left-armer in Pragyan Ojha and Mishra.
India's top order is fairly settled with Shikhar Dhawan and M Vijay opening, followed by Cheteshwar Pujara, Sachin Tendulkar, who will be playing his final series, and Virat Kohli. Ajinkya Rahane was the incumbent at No. 6 in the fourth Test against Australia in Delhi, but Rohit Sharma could be pushing for a Test debut after consistent limited-overs performances.
Squad: MS Dhoni (capt), Shikhar Dhawan, M Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, R Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Pragyan Ojha, Amit Mishra, Ajinkya Rahane, Umesh Yadav, Shami Ahmed, Rohit Sharma, Ishant Sharma.

Ravindra Jadeja has a shoulder strain. The Physiotherapist of the Indian team has advised two weeks’ rest for him, after the end of the ODI series against Australia, as a precautionary measure

Re: WI in India
Comfortable win for India in the end, they won by 5 wickets, and the win was even better than what the eventual margin suggests. Shikhar Dhawan led the chase with a superb 119 that came of 95 balls, and this innings was better than anything he played during the abomination series last month, as the pitch was more of a cricket pitch than a road, it was a bit 2-paced and Sunil Narine got some good turn on it. Importantly, Yuvraj Singh posted a score at last. He made 55 before edging Narine behind. It was a struggle for a long time in that innings, as the first 30 runs were hard earned, as he played and missed at a few from Narine, edged a few short of fielders and couldn't find his timing against Rampaul. But he looked a lot better in the later part of the innings though he couldn't build on it much. Unsurprisingly, the skipper was there at the end to score the winning runs, though this time he had a relatively easier job at hand. Raina made a neither here nor there 34. He does look untouchable as KPF says, but its been too long a stretch without a meaningful score from Raina, and the overseas assignments won't be easy for him, challenging times coming up for Raina.

Re: WI in India
Kieron Powell is cementing his place at the top of the order in all forms of the game now for the windies...every time i see them play he scores runs..just needs to convet 60's and 70's into hundreds..Run machine Shikar busts out another ton!! Yuvraj with perhaps a career saving 50.

When Bravo the captain celebrates a wicket like he did with India needing just 9 runs to win and the game as good as over...
You know there is a problem.......
No pride in their performances, No idea, It's all one big joke.........
Chanderpaul has guts and I'm sure he thinks what is the point !!!!
Very very sad to see,,,,,,,,,,,
