Australian Open 2012 Day 14 - Men's Final
First topic message reminder :
Unfortunately, I have a match this morning so I won't be watching live.....but please leave your comments here....
For now I'll remind everybody what Djokovic thinks about it.
“There is no secret it is going to be physical again,” Djokovic said. “I will do my best to recover. I have a day and a half. I will try to get as much sleep and recovery program underway and hope for the best. I think that's going to be crucial, you know, for me to recover and to be able to perform my best, because Rafa is fit. He's been playing well. He had an extra day. He definitely wants to win this title.”

OMG. You gain self worth from a man you've never met winning something?socal1976 wrote:Im calling Novak is going to break Nadal right here and seal the title.
Jahu if you think your sub 80 iq banter annoys me when my man is going to lift another grandslam shortly you are wrong. I am laughing at you and licking my lips for another Novak trophy

No that would be the fed jock sniffers who have to post tens of thousands of messages on how big balls and a little extra sand in the court caused federer to start losing. i just like having my favorite player win, I guess that makes me different.

Rafa is a true champion; I just can't stand his game though.
Come on Novak, do it for the sake of tennis.

JM i would have congratulated murray and been done with it, wouldn't come up with assinine slow court and big ball theories or accuse murray of doping and abusing the rules.

It's just amusing some people think supporting the most succesful and most gifted player in the history of tennis makes them some kind of connoisseurs of the sport.

I understand that you had to respond to the windups from some Fed fans, but now I hope you understand what Roger has to go through when playing Rafa. Novak should have already had this match sewn up.

88 minute set, first time these two have gone five sets. Rafa won this set on will power alone.

Nadal's game is just mind numbingly ugly, to be fair he did well to win that set though. If Djokovic hadn't had that long match with Murray it would have been over already.

No worries kemet, I have never thought it was easy to beat nadal. I just get tired of some extremist variety of fed fans who have to denigrate the accomplishments of other great champions to make themselves feel better.

It's ugly but it's effective.
And he is a true champion, regardless of how we feel about his game.
