Australian Open 2012 Day 14 - Men's Final
First topic message reminder :
Unfortunately, I have a match this morning so I won't be watching live.....but please leave your comments here....
For now I'll remind everybody what Djokovic thinks about it.
“There is no secret it is going to be physical again,” Djokovic said. “I will do my best to recover. I have a day and a half. I will try to get as much sleep and recovery program underway and hope for the best. I think that's going to be crucial, you know, for me to recover and to be able to perform my best, because Rafa is fit. He's been playing well. He had an extra day. He definitely wants to win this title.”

Are we in line for a possible MTO from Novak in this set? Any one seen feeding under the towel yet, or still to come?

Pity as I wanted Djokovic to win but he has only himself to blame for choking that tie breaker.

I like Fed, Murray, Nadal, Fognini, but fans like you have left Djoko with 2 fans in this forum, another 5 of them in total.

Yes nitb takes the bruises about Djoko much more manly than Social, all mixed with a little fun.

Social, I don't watch tennis because of the player I like, but because he plays tennis the way I like.
You love Djoko first and tennis last.

Harpo, Social knows it, he created the biggest every illogical myth about Fognini skiping a match with Djoko in purpose, so Djoko didn't play 4 days in FO 2011, and thats why he lost to Fed in SF.

Social seriously believes that Djokovic lost to Federer at the French lasteyesr because Fognini gave Nole a bye in the quarters.HarpoMars wrote:This might not be the time to ask, but what are the jokes about Fognini that I keep reading about on the forum??
I now await your bafflement.

Re: Australian Open 2012 Day 14 - Men's Final
Put all my winnings (£70) from Nadal/Fed on Nadal yesterday. Now laid off £70 on Djoko for £25 win win. Again unsure exactly why the market saw Djoko as such a heavy favourite considering what we have seen from each player this week.
So Now Nadal has help me turn £30 in £100 win or lose, all due to fanboys betting too heavily on their favourite tennis player, rather than trying to predict odds. There may be too many people out there the fan of a person rather than the fan of a sport imo
