Welsh Probables v Possibles to take place on 30th May

Will be interesting to see who is available for selection and who they think are possibles

From a Dragon's point of view I'd like to see Amos, Rees, Lewis Evans, Cudd, Dixon and Tyler Morgan given a run.

Jordan Williams needs a run too ! Would like to see Gavlar too, shirts and skins, swit swoooo

According to the stats there, the two teams have been almost equal in terms of possession. Possibles made the most turnovers and yet they've no score.

Sounds like the Probables are strolling this one. Anyone in the Possibles giving a good account of themselves so far?

What was the point of this game again? Wouldn't have made more sense to have more even sides? At least that way the fringe players had a chance of showing what they can do.

wales606, I think Jenkins has been much better than Shingler in a losing effort.

Mind you, for a scavenging open side sometimes its easier to impress without the ball.

Now Jamie Roberts is injured, and meanwhile Liam Williams gets another Probables try. 34-0 after 37 minutes.

Ellis Jenkins could be a contender for MOTM here (if they have one)...shame he couldn't make it all the way for the try.

Pointless and has given the welsh coaching staff nothing as far as I can see apart from Ellis Jenkins has played well in a team of poor performances.

How much was your ticket? I'd stay out of principal. If you've paid to be there, get yourself a drink and sit it out.

Freebie ticket just a donation to charity but even so this is a poor contest.

Which is a shame as there is a good crowd here wanting to watch a game.

Well, if you didn't pay for your ticket, it's up to you if you want to go or not. I personally refuse to leave a match early, but that's just me. I'm not sure if this game should've been advertised as a proper match really, as it is just a trial...You would expect better had the two teams been evenly matched instead of the best players being on one side. Shame as the idea had the potential to give an entertaining game.

it would have made a lot more sense to completely mix the teams, as the probables already have all their systems in place and know how each other play whereas the possibles don't, ellis Jenkins has been playing a lot better than shingler in my opinion and also been nice to see alex Cuthbert being used as a link man in midfield as far to often we have him or north coming in the centre and drawing players in. Also faletau has shown to me why he is first choice, I mean he is such an underrated player. Hooks defence has been fairly decent and I feel sorry for him as with the backline outside him, while the centre partnership has potential are both young and therefore he is taking to much responsibility on himself.

also Samson lee really needs to come on to at least give the possibles some platform, as Rhodri jones scrimmaging just isint good enough yet

Ok it's one way traffic, and not sure this trial really going to influence Gatland's selection, but it isn't pointless.

It provides real game time before the tour. Without this the majority would be facing a Test game without playing a game in 3 weeks. It's a good call.

Why not? There would still be a 5 week gap, and there would still be places up for grabs with strong benches - James Hook, Matthew Rees, Jake Ball, Andrew Coombes, Josh Turnball, Rhodri Williams etc

More of a contest would have been nice but it would always have been an upset if this Possibles side had managed to significantly test the Probables.

I'll concede it's a shame Jordan Williams got drafted into the Probables in place of North, he would have been a valuable Possible.
