It was alright. I drank an heroic amount of booze as I managed to get my pacing all wrong and didn't account for the football finishing as late as it has been.

How was the download festival?

Probably best to leave sean well alone. He drinks to forget the horror of his school days.

I managed to pace the festival quite well, and didn't make too much of an idiot of myself, whilst managing to see the bands i wanted to, which was nice.

Spent yesterday in takeaway and recovery mode and actually feel human today, after the deep cleanse!

Though washer has just sprung a leak, balls...

The sun goes down in about 25 minutes here. Another perfect day.
Shortest day of the year on Saturday... and it's hard to describe how nice it is here.

They'll be switching the lights on at the stadium shortly. Not even nervous. After a 8 year losing streak I'm feeling incredibly relaxed.


Actually since 1908 it's really 202-107 wins to NSW (61-32 in Series wins)... or something like that.

Wonder what everyone is having for lunch today?

Spanish omelette for me super, it was a bot cold but pretty good...

Did you have a solid or a liquid lunch today sean?

cold lamb vindaloo with cauliflower rice, tomatoes and cucmber. " x packets of beef space invaders and a packet of fruit polos.

Nothing yet, am in London am too scared if I try to buy food they will try and charge me too much.

I had exactly the same as yesterday.

Doing a fair bit of running (really out looking for TSMR) and I live at the top of a steep hill. It's much easier to run up it when my stomach's not full of bread and crisps and am hoping to avoid the indignity of spewing in front of my neighbours again.

They use money as currency Jeff. There really wasn't any need to take a rucksack full of coal and a couple of hung and dried pigeons.

I had a lovely lunch. It is asparagus season in Germany and I just had had a four course lunch with asparagus featuring on 3 of them. There was also an asparagus based palate cleanser as well. Only the dessert didn't have it.

It all tasted f*cking amazing but my p*ss is going to smell for months.

The only acceptable use of the phrase palate cleanser is when you wake up after heavy night having not brushed your teeth. A cold lager at that point is an excellent way to cleanse the palate.

I am going out in precisely 25 minutes for copious amounts of palate cleanser cold German lager. Hopefully served by girls in lederhosen.

Or if you're a painter and you use white spirit to cleanse your palate.
Although in his context, I suspect sean would use white spirit if lager wasn't available.
