Re: The Culture Cup Round 6 - new but not really improved
It was alright. I drank an heroic amount of booze as I managed to get my pacing all wrong and didn't account for the football finishing as late as it has been.
How was the download festival?
Probably best to leave sean well alone. He drinks to forget the horror of his school days.

I managed to pace the festival quite well, and didn't make too much of an idiot of myself, whilst managing to see the bands i wanted to, which was nice.
Spent yesterday in takeaway and recovery mode and actually feel human today, after the deep cleanse!
Though washer has just sprung a leak, balls...

Can imagine Tina wearing pastel shaded polo shirts and tailored shorts and Galted wearing cut-off denim shorts and the sleeveless inner fleece of his Jack Wolfskin over an amnesty international t-shirt (almost certainly sporting a bum bag). They'll be off antiquing in the Quantocks.

Lol out loud.
I'm in Germany you pack of bastards. Full of cocky arsepieces rattling on about the world cup and how they thrashed Portugal. Like I give a sh*t about football anyway.
I'm about 30 minutes from reminding them of 1945.

Galted is in Corfu or he could have met you instead.
This is becoming quite a habit, Jeff. You fancy a move down Sarrrf?
Please be careful, I worry about you coming down here.

When I heard Tino was in Germany, I planned to head down to London tomorrow, but now that I know Jeff's there, I think I'll go to Leeds instead.

Interesting. Galted said he was going on holiday, but didn't say where. Tino knows though, the stalkerish little w*nker.

Who are you trying to kid. The furthest you move is from your sofa to the Stannah in the hope of getting to the loo in time.

I'm usually found in the corner. I'm quite shy really.
* * *
A splendid morning to you all.
The sun goes down in about 25 minutes here. Another perfect day.
Shortest day of the year on Saturday... and it's hard to describe how nice it is here.
They'll be switching the lights on at the stadium shortly. Not even nervous. After a 8 year losing streak I'm feeling incredibly relaxed.
Actually since 1908 it's really 202-107 wins to NSW (61-32 in Series wins)... or something like that.
Since 1980 however, Qld have won 53 games compared to 43 for NSW and lead the (modern) S.o.O Series 20-12.

Greetings from Deutschland. Went to a restaurant last night and the waitresses were all wearing lederhosen. I found it immensely arousing.
Off to do something vaguely work related soon but I wish a lovely day (evening to LB) to you all.

Go for the all in one nappy. urine bags are a nightmare. Ex-girlfriends mum emptied her father's one at the dinner table. Thought I was in an episode of the Royale Family.

I had exactly the same as yesterday.
Doing a fair bit of running (really out looking for TSMR) and I live at the top of a steep hill. It's much easier to run up it when my stomach's not full of bread and crisps and am hoping to avoid the indignity of spewing in front of my neighbours again.

They use money as currency Jeff. There really wasn't any need to take a rucksack full of coal and a couple of hung and dried pigeons.

I had a lovely lunch. It is asparagus season in Germany and I just had had a four course lunch with asparagus featuring on 3 of them. There was also an asparagus based palate cleanser as well. Only the dessert didn't have it.
It all tasted f*cking amazing but my p*ss is going to smell for months.

The only acceptable use of the phrase palate cleanser is when you wake up after heavy night having not brushed your teeth. A cold lager at that point is an excellent way to cleanse the palate.

Or if you're a painter and you use white spirit to cleanse your palate.
Although in his context, I suspect sean would use white spirit if lager wasn't available.
